Fic Idea Vault #10: A Fix-It Fic set after Jedi Fallen Order and with a slight different Order 66

This is me wanting all my faves to be together and happy and fighting the Empire, enjoy

Very long post, and also SPOILERS FOR JEDI FALLEN ORDER, you have been warned:

- alternative Order 66, maybe some troopers retain some function that allowed them to not kill off the most vulnerable of Jedi a sort of 'well technically they aren't fully Jedi until they are Masters, just like Shinies don't loose that label until they have had their first battle' so lots of kiddos are stowed away, mainly those at the temple

- Unfortunately as commanders, many padawans did get caught in the crossfire which leads to Cal losing his master and getting stuck on Bracca

- Anakin is still Vader but he starts noticing small things like the troopers who don't follow orders completely and just let's it pass bc he is too wrapped up in trying to find out what happened to Padmé, Palatine allows this bc he already has the galaxy at his feet, he knows of he needs him Vader will do as he is ordered but keeping him around is depressing, Vader will only mope and be a nuisance so he lets him go and do what he wants and gives him the inquisitors to play with

- When he gets word of the Holocron through his inquisitors he becomes focused on them, he needs to find Obi Wan to find out what happened to his wife and child, and the Holocron can help him with that. They don't tell the emperor but only pass on that its an important mission dealing with rogue jedi

- When Cal steals back the Holocron they manage to get away with Trilla thanks to Merrin going with them too and keeping to the shadows

- Vader sents Cody after them and his band of 212 and 501 sorta under control but not. Cal decides to destroy the Holocron to keep the children safe until he sees that big spot of various children being together a it seems and they think maybe a Jedi survived and managed to get younglings to safety

- Actually it turns out it was the ones who were saved by the Clones and this sets the clones into high alert and it's a race against them

- Meanwhile, Ahsoka and Rex have heard of the Mantis' crew various adventures and also head to help out, theres a big chance this could be more recruits for the rebellion

- The clones lose contact with Vader (panicked) and he also sets out to see what happens, sending someone who is closer to stop them, the bounty hunter Boba Fett

- So now, Vader, Ahsoka & Rex, the Mantis crew, Cody with 501 and 212 clones, and Boba Fett are running to see about this kids

- Trilla is very hurt and also still sith but she is no longer being an ass to them, but she is very confused as to why if it seems it's an Empire facility, try didn't know it was full of younglings, they would have bought them to the inquisitors domain to turn them

- Rex and Ahsoka see Cody and the clones ship and decide to highjack them, surprised to find only clones there, setting about to getting them rid of their chips, once unchipped, it is tearful reunions later, there are younglings in danger so they continue

- At the base, they find the younglings mostly leaving normal lives on a backwater planet being taken care of by various clones who started being rotated, this time being in the care of the Wolf pack, who secretly managed to keep their heads when Plot Koon was not killed, they had liberated many brothers but Cody and his crew were too close to Vader for them to dechip

- As the Mantis touches down, they are taken in but Plo Soon recognizes Cal and Cere and the truth comes out

- Ahsoka and Rex and the freed Entourage of Cody's group also arrive, but uppon seeing Ahsoka (she was a prisoner to keep appearances since they didn't know of Wolf and the others) Plo Loon breaks too and everyone is glad everyone is not mind controlled or truly evil or dead

- Boba Fett has been spying on all of this and his blood boils, he might have a chip in his own head too, he is frightened and demands they confirm he is not a puppet for the empire, and also tells them Vader is on his way and people can't move fast enough

- Vader is thankfully alone but it will be bad as only Cal, Cere, Ahsoka and Trilla have sabers and Vader is too strong

- As they fight, Cal taps onto Vader's own memories, and with his strong connection to the Force this also gives Vader pause

- As they both go down, Cal is shaken to his core. He, like everyone else, believed that Anakin Skywalker had died alongside so many others, but he sees the truth

- And also, that somehow, Vader knew of the younglings, but never said anything. Ahsoka and Cere think fast and put three different force suppressant collars on him, Plo Koon keeping him down. When Cal comes to, he reveals Vader's true name to everyone's horror and shock

- Vader is silent but he does say that the younglings, the Jedi, clones, the galaxy at large do not matter to him. He needs to find Obi Wan and the Holocron may be the only thing that can help him find out what happened to his wife and child. Ahsoka and Cody both don't believe him about Kenobi being alive, until Anakin tells them he is like he is bc of the final confrontation. When he yells he wished Obi Wan had killed him Cere tells him that despite being a sith, no master would be able to take down their own Padawan, no matter who they were now

- Plo Koon is hopeful Obi Wan might be out there, but now they don't know how to proceed. They have two sith with them, various younglings to protect and a lot of clones that have been dechipped but that won't be enough. They need a new place to hide out in, were they might have some peace while they figure things out.

- Seeing as both Vader and Trilla kept the Holocron info between them and off the official channels, Bogano is the best option for them now as it is unknown to everyone, even the emperor

- Ahsoka knows of one person that might know fo Obi Wan and contacts Bail Organa to meet them before they head to bogano. Bail is very much not amused to find so many enemies in one place and specially not Vader, who he does try to attack for killing Padme. He confirms that Padme died but refuses to say anything to Vader about Obi Wan. He also confirms that Yoda was also alive but he doesn't know where he might be hiding either.

- Vader will only cooperate as long as they keep him around for him to find Obi Wan and his child. Bail is flabbergasted that Vader didn't actually do anything to the children to the clones to many others as he had heard so much destruction Vader had caused. Trilla admits that he is not actually anywhere with the inquisitors and that she was not actually tortured by Vader, mostly others and Palpatine, but Vader never did

- Vader admits that he had killed innocents before and that is why he fell, Plo Koon admits that maybe Vader is not without salvation if he is not bloodthirsty for everyone's death, and says they might have a chance to save him still

- Ahsoka is still angry and rants at him that the minute he finds his child, Palpatine will rest at nothing to twist them into something horrible, citing that the child could be as light as Padmé was, and that she would never have let palps near her child. Vader thinks, and thinks

- He doesn't want to continue being the emperor's lap dog. Admits that he was hoping to leave the order entirely after the war to settle with padme until the Council stopped him. Plo Koon, who was part of the Council reveals they were worried for him but not because of his attachment to Padmé but rather bc of his closeness with palps, who caused everything in the first place. It all comes back to Palpatine and Anakin finally thinks long and hard of what Palpatine truly did. From the clones to his closeness to spreading poison got the Jedi, he planned everything and never cared for anyone else.

- VaderAnakin has a new person to blame and he wants his child but that won't be enough. They need to lay low, and so they blow up the base that was the clone's safe heaven, effectively 'killing' all of them. Vader's suit is found in the wreckage and Palps is furious but can't do anything.

- Anakin is not actually that bad off, Palps death suit and his torture just made it worse, so he can be without it but they do modify alot of stuff for him. He still has no connection to the force but he is very good with parts. After a couple of months of him just chilling around Bail sends over two being that may vouch for Anakin if they can (BD-1 is actually the only one who approaches him, mostly everyone else goes in two or three people groups, being unnerve by the fallen Jedi, even Trilla and the clones)

- Seeing R2D2 and C3P0 again brings back many memories and Anakin actually cries a little. Their memories are restored thanks to BD, and R2 immediately goes for Anakin's throat but is stopped. R2 will not give them any info on Kenobi and will not trust Anakin after what he did, but does accept a look over once both Threepio and BD accept them, but he won't talk either way. He does say he might know something but this could lead to not just Obi Wan being in danger but the galaxy at large.

- The rebellion meets the new recruits and while they hide Anakin's identities, they do say him and Trill were inquisitors that wanted to desert, but people take a while to warm up to them

- The clones on the other hand, take in an unwilling Boba and keep watch over the kids, and soon they are heading to a new adventure, liberating Kashyyk, Cal wanting to help out As the planet was left to its own. There they meet the ninth sister who didn't die but is very not ok, she dies by Anakin's hand but it's a close call. Anakin is aware that he needs a lot of help yet if he is to see his child as he realizes his anger and dark side are very much present. Cere is willing to help him as someone who battles against the dark too and she takes in him and Trilla to help them meditate.

- Ahsoka is not able to forgive Anakin for his decisions but she starts to trust him and see him getting better. They still have hope that Obi Wan or Yoda will come to the rebellion but a couple of years go by and nothing. The rebellion grows but the empire still holds a strong grip

- Boba must continue to bounty hunt despite the protests of the clones and actually gets into a spot of trouble at Tatooine. Meanwhile, Merrin has heard of another nightsister running around and Ahsoka Cody and Rex feel this might be Ventress who fell off the grid and they believe dead. They had actually sent boba after this lead and that how he got into trouble at Jabba's. This prompts the Mantis Crew, Cody, and Anakin to go to he sandy planet. Cody is there as extra backup for Boba and Anakin wants to liberate the planet from Jabba and free slaves.

- On planet they encounter trouble and must run and hide from goons, Boba has managed to get out and actually finds Ventress, and together they help lay low. Ventress is caught up by Cody and Anakin, she laughs herself silly at their misfortunes and having turn to the dark, but is glad she isn't the only one left from the night sisters, unfortunately she never grew up as one as Merrin cannot connect with her but she is invited to the rebellion. Ahsoka and Rex must once again come and help them (they get the mantis hidden at Peli's but they need parts) and through them Ventress hears they are still looking for Kenobi. She knows he is here, and is hidden, but she can't tell them. She won't sell him out but does wonder why he wouldn't have contacted them.

- As they are trying to stay under the radar, a cloaked figure spies them moving around and panics, hard. BD and R2 both notice the figure and R2 actually recognizes him, he fights them and escapes, and they fear the worst.

- Boba tracks the figure and they follow him to his little hut in the middle of the dessert, where Obi Wan is waiting to be killed, entering into battle mode immediately against Anakin, Cody, Rex and Ahsoka

- When Cal intervenes as he realizes again through his force sense who he is, he makes everyone drop their weapons to calm the old Jedi down.

- The man they see is not the same Kenobi they remember. Obi Wan has not have the best 8 years of his life and is very much still thinking this is an Empire raid and that Palps has found him. But it takes them calling over Cere and the rest to convince him to hear them out. Ventress reveals she knew he was here but wasn't going to rat him out if he had yet to contact them himself, he had his reasons as she did to want to stay away from the empire and rebellion

- Ben hears them out, probes memories and is finally left to admit he might have panicked to see them, including Anakin. The force presence was too strong. He is more surprised to hear Anakin doesn't want to kill on site or that the younglings survived and he was now working on the dark within him with Trilla and Cere. He admits this is surprising and tells them how he needed to lay low and he knew Anakin even as Vader would not come looking into Tatooine

- He says he cannot join them, he fears what the empire will do to him and the knowledge he possesses if he were to fight another war

- He can't trust Anakin but he is surprised to find out that even Bail has started to see his change (nothing is said of Leia so he knows she is safesafe yet) Anakin only asks if his child is ok, but the force has other plans

- Jabba the Hut is still looking for them and he will try everything to stop them, and he has called in the empire to catch the rebellion members

- Things are going south, the Mantis is good and they still the ship Ahsoka and Rex came in, but they need to go now. Obi Wan must make a decision and quick, he tells them he will need to go and pick up someone and leaves as they try to get ready. He finds that he has been pointed out as helping the fugitives and the Lars' are being singled out. They are all taken to Jabba and find a small child being held hostage by the Hut for Obi Wan to give up the rebellion members: Luke

- A fight ensues, the empire grows closer, and Boba takes the shot and kills the Hut, in the process Luke uses the force and they all become aware he is very powerful

- As they leave with the Lars, Obi Wan must come clean to everyone that Luke is Anakin's son, one of two. The young boy is asleep and had already won them over even before. They must try to lose any empire that may be following them and then straight to Bogano, where the rebellion had made into a civilian safe place.very few people could make it there and Obi Wan is glad to see so many survivors of the purge and to see Plo Koon, who tells him of the process and growth of the various Jedi around, even Trilla and Anakin. Ventress didn want to be here but had no choice and soon she is also taken under Cere's wing to how to not let the dark control you. The children many now teens help them all and it is peaceful and hopeful.

- Bail comes around and knowing Obi Wan was there prompt him to bring Leia, the other Skywalker twin. She and Luke immediately have a connection and Anakin must excuse himself. She is just as Padmé had been but Luke had her spirit and he curses the day Palpatine and himself took everything away. The twins are told the truth and as all children they take it in stride, as Bail had already told Leia she was adopted but the keep who Anakin used to be and inform the children he is afraid of hurting them so he keeps his distance. Luke won't be deterred from the parent he had idolized all his life despite his sister, his aunt and uncle and everyone else telling him that Anakin was volatile and he could be hurt, Luke still tries his best to make sure everyone is ok and brings out Anakin more and more.

- He is never alone with them, purposely going to large crowds of other Jedi whenever Luke corners him, like he tries to escape a very determined lost puppy to make sure he is kept on check but he is also very patient with both children. Leia is demanding and he gets flashbacks of Obi Wan telling him he would get a child someday just like him (he meant Padawan but it also applies) and he understands now. Getting close to his children does help his image a lot amongst the others, and soon all the children stop being afraid and also seek him out for play time.

- Obi Wan is skittish the first months and avoids a lot of people around, but he gets dragged into consulting when the rebellion needs it, he was a general in various battles and his expertise and Anakin's own views make them a good team. New and old friendships are forged, as well as relationships. Boba and Cal argue a lot but they work well together and Cody still pins for his general, but even after Obi Wan tries to seek him out to talk, the commander will still avoid him. Rex and the others help them and they finally get to confess and be together. With time, Obi Wan finally feels he can leave and not feel anxiety at not knowing how Leia and Luke are, and he goes with Plo and Cere to find Yoda. Together they hope Yoda will believe them of what has happened and trust them to come with them.

- Yoda is a troll and thouh he is wary, he cannot deny their story. Plo is hurt from surviving O66 and Cere has the dark in her, which means they cannot be fragments of his broken imagination and their story checks out. He fears being unworthy to come back when he feels responsible for everything but they convince him.

- The kids love him and he makes sure to hit everyone he recognizes in the shins with his walking stick for their mistakes but does have a soft spot for Luke and Leia. Luke becomes his carrier but the young boy doesn't mind. He is skittish around the clones but they earn back his trust and he and the others speak of the trauma of O66.

001 - Kingdom Hearts

Favorite character: On the villain side: VEXEN IS BEST ORGANIZATION XIII MEMBER. Shoulda stayed evil, though. I like it when he complains and screams about everything and hates everyone. He's one of my favorite villains, just, like...in general. So fun to write. Also attached to Demyx, but I actually liked him more in III than II because it reminded me of my rawr lolspeek weeb days when I f/o'd him without knowing what f/o'ing was and then transitioned this to shipping VexDem like heck. On the hero side: MY GIRL KAIRI! But honorable mentions go to Sora, Riku, Aqua, Ven, Terra, Xion, Roxas, Lea, Ienzo, any Disney character I loved beforehand (this is way too fuckin many to list), Merlin (OKAY I WILL SINGLE HIM OUT), Yen Sid (I'LL SINGLE HIM OUT TOO), you know what let's also single out the Mickey+Donald+Goofy power trio...just...any KH hero who isn't part of the Yozora stuff or the KHUX stuff. ...Except I also LOVE Strelitzia, and she is the only KHUX-exclusive kiddo I care about but I care about her MANY. (Oh, and there's a least fave I have who's a "hero" but that's a debatable label). I would go on about why I love all of them but...that's too many characters to elaborate on

Least Favorite character: See, I think the real answer is Yozora, but the thing is I just tend to forget about him or not care (unless I'm doing a weird AU where he's Noctis' bratty Nobody, don't ask). He kinda represents the Shark Jump and I don't like watching that scene where he literally petrifies Sora for not being strong enough. But again, I can just kinda forget about him if he's not fed to me through a social-media unit. The one I LOVE TO HATE is Master Eraqus. The man actually triggered me back in the day. He is purity culture. He is the overbearing parent who will not accept you unless you are perfect. He is by and large the reason VAT didn't communicate with each other properly. He was the one who taught Aqua to think in absolutes. He lied to Ventus for years and then insisted to kill him was the only option, and then, when Terra tried to defend his brother figure/friend without knowing WHY Eraqus was doing such a thing, Eraqus didn't offer an explanation and instead switched targets to Terra citing that the problem was Terra's lack of OBEDIENCE. Eraqus is just very "my way or the highway" and uses his moral high horse to justify doing things that utterly lack compassion in any regard, which is something that GETS to me on a deep level, and let me tell you, I hated him for so long until I realized he was actually a super fuckin fun guy to imagine as a Bigger Bad in AUs that either have the KH protags teaming up or have villain protags needing a "greater good lawful evil" figure. And I just have found too many good memes about him cheating at chess and killing children. I have to laugh. Making fun of him is fun. He's a ridiculous character. That said, this recent trend of "erase everything bad he ever did and paint him as the ultimate hero of the saga" makes me raise eyebrows for SEVERAL reasons

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): VexDem, SoRiku, Kairi x Jaune Arc (RWBY), Aqua x Rosalina (Super Mario Galaxy) x Bayonetta, IsaLea, Ventus x Papyrus (Undertale), that was six but they all needed to be mentioned

Character I find most attractive: Ienzo. HOO BABY he is adorable. I saw someone make a Valentine's Day gifset of KH and FF characters shortly after III dropped and seeing his smiling face paired with a romance quote made my heart FLUTTER

Character I would marry: Probably Ienzo, see above. He's also a very kind guy. Favorite redemption in the modern era.

Character I would be best friends with: I hope the Destiny Trio would adopt me into their friend circle the way they've tended to do with every other inter-world denizen they've come across. I would love to have them as my positivity squad. Or, y'know, two positivities and one "it's okay to screw up" guy. Just. I would love to hang out with them. I often worry that I'm unlikable to my faves, but even though I would usually prefer to hang with the villains, I can pretty much guarantee these three would be open-minded about me. (Do I kiiiiinda wanna be friends with Vexen though? Of course I do. He'd hate me but maaaayyyyybe he would see me as one of his pet idiots who makes him look smarter, and we could bond over our fragile egos?)

a random thought: You ever think about that one NPC lady in Traverse Town who refused to tell you where she was from because it was none of her business? You ever wonder where she WAS from? What her world was like? How she ended up being the survivor of the Ansem Apocalypse when it hit her? All I know is that when I read her lines out loud (I used to read KH speech balloons out loud all the time), I gave her a Southern accent for no discernible reason and I stand by it. That woman has a twang.

An unpopular opinion: I don't want KHUX to be canon because I feel it's smaller-scale and takes a lot of mystery out of the worldbuilding. I always assume that the KHverse just includes ALL worlds in fiction, and that includes their thousand-year histories, meaning the Age of Fairy Tales should've happened long long long LONG LONG LONG ago and not five generations. And whatever screwed up the world should've been more than just five people having a fight, and whatever saved it should've been more than just five people getting along, and Daybreak Town really suffers from having to stick to mobile-friendly graphics and therefore is the least aesthetically attractive KH town ever, and I don't like that Lauriam and Elrena used to be such selfless people. I do still love Strelitzia because she's shy and relatable and quirky (sitting on the roof) and she questions authority and if you go with shipping subtext she's probably bi (or pan?), but I don't like the "Lauriam's dead sister for his arc's drama" bit. I liked when Marluxia was angry because he wanted to run Organization XIII but it was in the hands of an idiot who wasn't him. And more than anything I just like imagining that the Age of Fairy Tales was something bigger, further in the past, and more mysterious than something designed for a mobile game. Scala ad Caelum, however, I like a lot better because there IS a lot of mystery there and also it's a very pretty town with an amazing design.

my canon OTP: I really only count the Disney couples as the "canon" ones, so this is a question of picking my favorite Disney couple that shows up onscreen. I hope I'm not forgetting an important one, but I think the title has to go to Aladdin/Jasmine, which is always perfect in everything. (This would be an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT STORY if KH had ever adapted Treasure Planet, and if it ever gets the mind to adapt Treasure Planet then even if I don't care about that game I will immediately declare that Amelia/Doppler takes the KH canon OTP crown. *taps watch* Get on it Squenix)

Non-canon OTP: SoRiku, which I counted as "basically canon" after DDD until III decided it wasn't sure. But I'm just a sucker for how DDD is the two of them all "HE'S GOT MY BACK AND I'VE GOT HIS AND I'D DO ANYTHING FOR HIM SO LONG AS HE'S HAPPY." It's just the best kind of Friends-to-Lovers, except when you take all canon into account it's Friends-to-Rivals-to-Enemies-to-Friends-to-Lovers and that's a very juicy dynamic. BUT ALSO: VexDem, which is a nostalgia ship SO STRONG I had to accept that it eclipsed my former Vexen ships by a mile and I wanted to go back to my roots. That one, I have a much longer essay about that I'll just have you refer to so I don't repeat myself for pages. To make a long story short, their scene in III was JUST DELICIOUS.

most badass character: OOF THEY'RE ALL BADASS but in the end it's between Sora and Aqua, because Sora gets the widest RANGE of abilities across the series that he masters while Aqua gets the most POWERFUL abilities due to her Mastery (Command Styles seem like they'd be the most OP things ever in-universe and I'm here for it because flashy battle moves make brain go brr).

pairing I am not a fan of: SOKAI, Xehaqus, RikuNami, Vanitas/anyone not evil

character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): OH BOY. KAIRI THE MOST. YOU ALL KNOW WHY: lack of screen time, Fridging for drama, forced romance to invite death flags (they really wanted to milk that death to get people talking didn't they?), giving Alyson Stoner ZERO direction to actually follow up on Hayden Panettiere's performance. But then I remember that they made Vexen redeem and lose his entire personality and I just...uuugghhhh. I can't believe he died twice in this series. And then Demyx is FUN but also I know he's flipped sides as well, which means he won't be fun much longer! Xehanort seems to switch motivations to whatever makes him the biggest threat (and several of Eraqus' old flaws seem to be mysteriously glued onto him), Sora isn't a motormouth anymore, Riku just doesn't get anyone who cares about him anymore because everyone's distracted by Sora and Kairi, IS ANYBODY GOING TO ADDRESS THE ACTUAL ISSUES THAT DROVE THE WAYFINDER TRIO APART, oh God Marluxia and Larxene you're good guys now what have they done to you

favourite friendship: I really like each of the trios. But you know what's even BETTER than the trios? If you put...all of the trios together...meaning Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Aqua, Terra, Ven, Roxas, Xion, Lea, Hayner, Pence, Olette...and then you added Isa back in there...and you gave them Ienzo...and you brought back Naminé...and you say that Subject X is Strelitzia and you have her turn back up so she can have justice done...AND YOU HAVE AN ULTRA KEYBLADE GROUP OF FRIENDS. As for Vexen, any purely platonic relationship I have for him is a crossover but trust me I have many crossover pals for he

character I want to adopt or be adopted by: See everyone I listed above in the friendship question. They can either mentor me or let me be their big sis/mom. But also, I will GLADLY be Merlin or Yen Sid's daughter. (But also would I kiiiiinda wanna be a VexDem daughter? This is the worst idea. Still wanna try)

Mind Blind is my favourite WIP right now. It’s just... incredible. I’ve played it like 15 times. @mindblindbard deserves inordinate amounts of cash and joy thrown at them for their sheer talent, awesome writing and loveable ROs.

Anyways! I got bored, so I made my Mind Blind Buttons in Artbreeder! It was really fun, even though I know nobody cares.

God, they’re all such hot messes (minus you, Pippa, the only functional one). I love them so much. Except Mitzi, who is a garbage fire of a person.

Pippa Wiseman - Super confident and self-assured. Bubbly by nature. High interpersonal skills. Often underestimated or thought of as an airhead; prone to fits of fun-loving mischief. Not sure whether she wants to kiss or kill Rosy. (Spoiler alert - these two things are not mutually exclusive! It’s both!)

Mitzi Wiseman - Mean as all fuck. A real hostile Button indeed. Subsists on resentment and pure hatred. Nick chewed her out real good for wishing he was dead in that hospital room and she deserved it. No RO but the only person on the planet she didn’t alienate was Glitch. I don’t know what that says about her.

Genevieve Wiseman -  My fave girl; funny and super loving. Really into cute pastel retro skirts. Humour and repression as a coping mechanism, babey! The sweetest Button I have. Her relationship with Nick is the best out of this Button bunch. Highkey cried over Kent at first; still set on that Bali honeymoon though.

Okay so I'm gonna do 4 characters since I love them the most, Damien aka my fursona/oc, Hestia and Theo, two siblings I had since primary school, and lastly Peter who's way more recent oc than the other three and is gonna be a character in my book I'm writing :')

TW for alcohol abuse, child abuse and religious abuse for Damien, drug/alcohol abuse, medical abuse, ableism/mental illness, suicidal tendencies and child abuse for Peter, and war and death TW for Hestia and Theo

15. What was your OC’s childhood like?

Damien: He was raised by a single alcoholic father who beat him and two super religious grandparents who put the fear of God in him. You can imagine his childhood was very crappy! He was abused physically and emotionally by his father, and abused emotionally and manipulated by his grandparents who forced him to do what they wanted or he'll end up in Hell (which now that I mention it it's hilarious that the guy ends up making a deal with the devil and becomes a demon). He was also a closeted trans boy and so was forced by his family to be traditionally feminine which he HATED. He was bullied a lot in school and was mostly a loner because of it, he mostly spent his time drawing which is also how he let out his feelings. So, in short, he had a pretty traumatic and strictly religious childhood.

Hestia and Theo: This needs a lot of context so it will most likely be more of a story explanation. Theo was born to the leaders of a god-like dragon race (they could control and create shit and were given appropriate names for it, also they are called the Elements), Charmony and Earth, and was originally named Shadow. HR was well loved and raised by his family, often playing with other young Elements, one of which was an older Element named War and his siblings. The two would fight and bicker and have their little competitions between each other. For some time he was the only child, until his little sister was born, at the time named Jewel. He really adored his sister and they quickly became inseparable. They had a very good childhood, up until the point their father's brother, Chaos, got jealous of their mother and ended up trying to kill Shadow out of rage, got promptly exiled, then came back and kickstarted a dragon war that nearly made their entire species extinct. Earth was killed trying to protect his children and Charmony got killed by Chaos during a fight. Stone, Charmony's brother, took his nephew and niece and created a pocket dimension where they hid and he put them under a spell so they'd sleep. The whole royal family was presumed dead and the very few remaining Elements created the rest of the universe, took on human-like appearences and kickstarted pretty much life (which is also why human-like apperence is very common in the universe, they were created by Elements to look like them). Years passed and the two grew in their sleep, eventually Stone deemed it safe enough to let them out (he really felt bad for putting them under) but out of fear for them he wiped their memories and fabricated new ones. They lived on different planets, Stone consistently wiping their memories and moving so he wouldn't have to explain their immortality to them, at the time he thought it was for the best but of course he would later regret this practice. This eventually put them on Earth where they lived as teens/young adults on a farm with their uncle, who gave them their names Hestia and Theo, once again with fake memories about their parents' death, made specifically to be less traumatic. There was one problem though, all this time Chaos was convinced they were alive and hunted them and now the Elements got a prophecy about the two post royal children being either the saviors of the universe or be the cause of its destruction, and blowing on cold the current leader, Life, decided to fucking go find her dead friend's children and fucking murder them because that's definitelly what a good and well adjusted leader would do. So all that shit only convinced Stone that what he did was good, bUT too bad for him because the kiddos found out, Hestia was heartbroken and her brother was fucking PISSED. Shit happens, so much shit happens, I do not have the space on this post to talk about just how much shit happens, so let's just say at the end Stone deeply regretted his choices, apologised and returned all of their memories, and the kids eventually forgave him.

Peter: Peter was born a youngest son to a polish Jewish immigrant family (not the first generation, but like 3rd or smth?) in USA. He was Jewish from his mother's side, his father instead being a traditional Christian man, so he was raised with two religions in his life (still researching stuff on Judaism and its traditions so I won't tell you a lot about this just yet, sorry!) Most of his childhood was uneventful until he reached the age of 8, when he started to get horrible nightmares about another world and monsters, the nightmares grew in intensity until he started getting auditory hallucinations irl, his mental health steadily declined until the age of 11 when he tried to commit suicide and was promptly hospitalised. Up to that point he wasn't treated very well either, being a neurodiverse child he was bullied and his parents didn't take his problems seriously, after he was hospitalised his family ended up disowning him eventually as a teen. So, his childhood was shitty and mostly spent in a mental hospital. Yaaaay.

38. How does your OC react to and handle stress?

Damien: Drink, party and repress the shit out of your problems until they go away

Hestia and Theo: Although some of Stone's practices were...questionable, he overall was a good parent to them and he raised them well. They generally know how to handle stress well, which is a good quality to have as the new leaders kdhfjf. They usually either vent or use either a physical or artistic outlet, like going horse riding, flying or making music and singing!

Peter: The literal opposite of the previous two, this man is a definition of unhealthy coping mechanisms. Anything from pills, to alcohol, to self harm. He eventually gets better and finds better ways to cope with stress, but it's a long process.

Tyr: Long black/white hair and bright green eyesDemon possessed immortalEmo little asshole (honestly if you’ve ever seen the musical Dr. Horrible, he’s a lot like that, so that’s just me being Hilarious tm, lol) Used to be a (TYRanical (haha)) king, at one point, on a large island that doesn’t exist anymore. Left it before it went “Lol Bye”, and became king of France for a while.Had a meaningful fling with a demon OC named Des by my friend @r-e-g-a-l-i-a , marries another OC of mine, Freya, till she’s murdered when his throne at France gets over taken, and eventually finds Des again in modern day, and marries her~. Does not forever stay demon possessed, but does forever stay immortal.Unironically sings The Music of the Night, and relates to the Phantom. (Freya’s his Christine.) Would probably be one of those music obsessed emo’s that had the lyrics to Black Parade on his profile.CAN N O T hold a single drop of alcohol. 

Freya: Literally Rapunzel. No, seriously, I desperately need to develop her more lol. Long-ass blond hair, and deep blue eyes. Hair got so long, people made the story of Rapunzel after her. Poor musician that got Tyr to straighten tf out and get rid of his demon. Honestly has a Sophie-and-Howl relationship with Tyr now that I think about it??Super sweet. Wouldn’t hurt a fly. Got Super Dead by a French Asshole that screwed her and Tyr over when they were King and Queen. Came out to have a good time but honestly feels so attacked.Has to hide the wine from Tyr. Save her.

Vincent(??): I can’t remember what I picked to be his name, legit lmao.Freya’s big brother who died bc he’s a fuckin idiot. (He drank to much lol.) Was also Tyr’s friend. Became a ghost and started haunting Tyr bc he’s an asshole. (Jk he’s really funny, probably.) SUPER ANNOYING, but you love him anyway. Fuckin nerd with long-ass curly hair. Dresses fancier than he can actually afford.

Pandora/Pan/Pancake: Not 100% mine, but I helped @goosemooseproductions develop her, and I also play her, so I get half the credit~LISTEN I LOVE HER SHE IS MY BABE??? She’s like a slightly more chill, not-quite-as-badass, Lord Dominator meets Megara meets Esmerelda. Sassy af.Fight her. (She’s, like, 4″9′ but she’ll kick your ass, she’ll kick anybody’s ass, she’ll kick her own ass.)SUPER poofy, gorgeously curly, kinda mess, black-brown hair. Mel's Weekend at WSC Nashville

Not a lot of people can say they did the tango with Norman Reedus on their 29th birthday. (Or on the fifth anniversary of their 29th birthday....who's counting, am I right?) But Walker Stalker con is just out here making dreams come true. For me, WSC Nashville can only be described as magical. As I walked through the doors on  June 3rd (my birthday eve), I felt like a kid on Christmas. If the presents were hugs from Cooper Andrews, selfies with Michael Cudlitz, and kisses from Jeffrey Dean Morgan. (Does this analogy make Norman Reedus Santa Claus?) Here are some of the highlights from my WSC weekend!

Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Jeffrey 👏🏻 Dean 👏🏻 Morgan👏🏻  If you've been listening to our podcast/known me for five minutes, you know my love for this man runs deep. I had the opportunity to meet him in Atlanta, (You can hear more about our Atlanta WSC adventures here.) but I was so flabbergasted that I completely spaced on what I wanted to say to him.

In Nashville, I finally got my chance. He gave me his undivided attention and was so gracious, kind, and caring. I have had the good fortune of meeting many celebrities, but there isn't anyone as sweet as Jeffrey Dean Morgan or any cast member from The Walking Dead. Period. The moment I got to have with him a couple of hours before this photo was taken was priceless. To hear more about this special moment, click here. 

The BEST cosplayers ever. You may have already seen our interview with Rick Grimes cosplayer "Trick Grimes," but there were many more fantastic costumes roaming the show floor. Some of my favorites were the kiddos dressed as their favorite post apocalyptic bad guy, Negan. The cosplay contest is always a highlight of any Walker Stalker. The categories are broken down into survivors, walkers, and kids with one overall winner. In Nashville there were many creative costumes, but none quite rivaled contest winner Alexandro Quiles who cosplayed as Jerry. Quiles captured Jerry's look and adorable personality perfectly.

The People. This part is two fold. Obviously, one of the the main reasons you attend WSC is to meet the actors behind your favorite TWD characters. It is always fun to spend a couple of moments with someone like Ross Marquand and get to hear one of his amazing impressions. If taking selfies is more your style, you will love being goofy with Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, and Steven Ogg. If Norman Reedus is attending the WSC near you, make sure you pre purchase an autograph (more info on that at the official Walker Stalker Con website), so you can know the bliss that is Norman taking your hand from across the table. He makes sure every fan feels loved. One of my favorite things about WSC is the family of friends you make because of your mutual love for all things TWD. Every time I go to one, I walk away with at least one new friend. If you are attending WSC in the near future, I fully suggest joining one of the many fan groups on Facebook. Walker Stalker Con Meet Up is one of my faves! There you can connect with other folks attending the convention in your town and coordinate hang outs. Many of the people in the group have been to WSC before so they are also a wealth of knowledge and are happy to help answer any questions you may have. Some of my favorite people on the planet I have met all because of this convention. Don't be afraid to strike up conversations with other fans in line or stop that person in the badass Michonne costume. It might be the beginning of an awesome friendship! 

The music. You probably don't think of Walker Stalker and music as two things that necessarily go together. However, if you have ever had the chance to attend you know that Katelyn Nacon has the voice of an angel! The 'Birthday Chair' is totally a thing. When I visited IronE Singleton's booth on June 4th (also my birthday), he noticed the ginormous gift bag I was carrying around that one of my friends had gifted me with. Mid conversation he told me I would have to get in the birthday chair. Then, we continued our conversation about things unrelated to birthdays, took a photo, got some of those famous IronE hugs, and were about to be on our merry little way. Then IronE says, "Where do you think you're going? You have to get in the birthday chair!" I said, "Oh wait, so that's a real thing?" IronE proceeded to laugh at my naivety and say that OF COURSE it was a real thing. He pulled a chair out to the front of his booth and asked me to be seated. He then proceeded to yell out TO THE ENTIRE CONVENTION that it was my birthday and asked everyone to say 'Happy Birthday' to me. Have you heard this man speak?! He can project like nobody's business. Also, when he tells you to take your bow afterwards, he means it. Thanks, IronE for helping make my birthday so memorable and special. Also, embarrassing. 😂

The loot. There's lots of fantastic vendors at WSC. Of course you can always find some unique t-shirts (and I always suggest hitting the WSC march booth for a convention t-shirt), but theres so much more. You will find action figures, tote bags, life size cut outs of Negan (totally thought about purchasing one), and amazing artwork.  One of my favorite vendors was one belonging to artist Kirk Manley. Kirk makes special limited edition prints for each city that you can purchase at the conventions. But he only makes a small amount and once they're gone they're gone! The detailing in his pieces is unreal! For Nashville he did a country music theme. You can check out his latest work and the Nashville print on his Instagram.

The promise of more to come. I love that our friends at Walker Stalker understand that we all get a little sad post convention. You spend months looking forward to the experience and then it flies by so fast. These guys didn't waste any time putting WSC Nashville 2018 on the books for May 12 and 13 at the Music City Center.
