Special Agents Lindsey Perez and Peter Strahm are called in to investigate the Jigsaw murders. For Perez, it's a chance to find the person who killed her lover, Allison Kerry. As they dig into the case Strahm begins a questionable entanglement with lead detective on the case, Mark Hoffman.

The conclusion of their investigation could prove to put the limits of Perez and Strahm's partnership to the test.

HEY LOOK AT ME (THROWS FRUIT SNACKS AT YOU) THE ISLANDS HAVE THE BEST NAVY IN THE WORLD ALONG WITH DANGEROUS PIRATES AND ARE PROMINENT TRADERS TO THE OTHER KINGDOMS! THEY ALIGN WITH NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES BUT DO NOT HAVE ENEMIES EITHER! I REPEAT DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES MESS WITH THEM THEY OWN THE OCEAN AND WILL MAKE YOU FEEL HER WRATH, THEY MAY BE PEACEFUL BUT WE DO NOT WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY AREN'T! (Coughs and continues sweetly) and over here class we have Irown and Starsia, they have a shaky alliance because of past conflicts easy to blame each other, but have many arranged marriages in each other's countries so they are becoming more like sister countries each day. Starsia is sorta a capital kingdom that accepts refugees and usually holds peace meetings between kingdoms. Now if you will turn your attention over there we have Athemia, ignore the screams those are normaaaaal (stares into the distance as smoke and ash rises into the air) TECHNICALLY ATHEMIA IS NO LONGER A COUNTRY - they used to be the strongest empire in the then known world conquering nations ruthless rulers, but then the kingdoms around them revolted and burned their empire. Killing or enslaving any remaining Athemians (Athemians are now the most prominent type of slaves) and the treatment of them to this day isn't greeeeeat. (Smiles as another revolt looms over my head) sUcH iS tHe cYcLe oF ViOLeNcE Then of course there is Boviaki (proceeds to forget how to spell my own country) OR OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE CURSED LANDS (yes that is much easier to spell-) Nobody enters the cursed lands and leaves alive that's how it's been for as long as anyone can remember. Some say monsters live their other say angels. No one knows no one can say... Lukas: "I know-" (lifts a finger) Me: BE QUIET Kerez: (smirks) THAT'S MY LITTLE HALF-BAKED RANT ABT A FEW OF THE KINGDOMS THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION (throws you more fruit snacks and exits dramatically)
