So here's a Fakemon I designed using, https://nokemon.eloie.tech/, ai generated Pokemon! A fantastic website really. Enjoy!

So obviously first is the original generated design done by the ai just to credit the original form, and then the mon I created from that. The eclipse rock is also a fake evolutionary stone item that is connected to the sun and moon as that is very fairy esq and water is connected often to the moon and I just liked the idea of a crescent moon over a sun/star, the item also likely acts as a Fairy type attack boost item when held due to the moon having connections to fairy powers/attacks eg moon blast.
I did change the typing as they're significantly more water than fairy, like the fairy power is holding their watery form together for sure but they are also enchanted water.
It is said that Melodot and its evolutions are not the true form of this Pokemon, there is a story that original Melodot did not exist and instead was a mythical type fairy water Pokemon that lived in a secret lake, this Pokemon adored treasures and often collected them having many riches and jewels gems and elemental stones and sometimes just shiny pebbles this Pokemon found intriguing. It is said that this Pokemon would trade with Humans and pokemon alike, accepting offering of berries in enchange for evolutionary items for Pokemon and such, but would only trade what they believed was equal value to their shiny. Though there was one item they never traded, a large stone inside their chest too special to give up, and soon people grew jealous wanting that stone as it was the source of the pokemons mystic powers and because they wanted to know what was so important about it. One day a human went to see this Pokemon with a chest of shinies gold coins, gems glistening in the sunlight saying it was a gift for the Mythical in thanks for it's trade, the pokemon was overwhelmed by the kind act and shiny jewels putting their hands inside to see what there was, but the human was dishonest, under the top layer of gold was pure steel and the mythical felt the pain too late. The man was a liar and a thief, using this opportunity to steal the stone with his greedy steel chain mail gloves and ran quickly leaving the mythical who shrank under the water of their lake disappearing from sight and history forever. When the man cracked open the rock he found the inside glistening beautifully a gorgeous geode perfectly formed into a half moon inside of a shining sun like crystal, it was the most beautiful thing any person had seen and the money he got for one half was more than he ever could've wanted as he kept the other for himself. It's said though when the people of the town found out what he'd done to their mythical the rage was unquenchable the ensuing anger and mob ending in the destruction of the town people and pokemon alike, they never found where the man had hidden his half of the stone but a young group of historians uncovered it years later and it is currently displayed in a museum, and the other was sold and traded for years to come and has yet to be returned to its other half.
From the lake Melodot started to appear, they're a young species they stumbled and left their birth place leaving to hide elsewhere, people think perhaps Arceus felt pity for his destroyed child so blessed the lake to allow new life to form from what became of the mythicals body. A naturally skittish but curious Pokemon, it takes a while to earn their trust but they are incredibly fond once you have it their main languages of affection including mouthing on their friends/trainers, be wary of them with fire types they don't realise it causes harm, wrapping their long watery arms around their friends arm or appendage within reach and giving them any of the treasures they've found and stored in their body from river beds. To steal any of them will greatly offend these pokemon and break any trust they had in you and turn them quite violent. Melodot have been noted playing in streams around young children learning to swim and seem to be able to sense the innocence in them, they have been seen using their long arms to pick thrashing children from the water and put them on the river bank, the stretching potential of their arms has yet to be researched. Under crescent moons these pokemon will come together and sing into the night, some people find their voices incredibly grating out of pitch and unpleasant while others say its a beautiful soft but sorrowful haunted melody that has caused them to cry out of a feeling of deep loss but they don't know why exactly or what they've lost.
In the wild Melodot naturally evolve into Kelpodize, the curious skittish gentle nature of these pokemon instead replaced with a far more distant harsh and sometimes outright violent disposition. These pokemon naturally migrate from the ponds, lakes and rivers Melodot reside in to deeper lakes or the ocean whichever being nearer. Its thought that these Pokemon remember what man once did to them, letting go of the belief some human are good and they may return to the form they once had instead embracing the new pokemon they are straying from the gentle humanoid like original form. They have been known to attack humans in their territory gaining access to quite a few dark moves despite their typing remaining the same. Wild caught Kelpodize are known for being near impossible to train as they despise humans, however there have been rare cases of wild Kelpodize being trained and befriending their human trainer and one in particularly was recorded as nearly mauling someone who attacked their human trainer, another was recorded as having swam for days carrying their trainer on their back after they'd fallen off a cruise ship taking them back to shore. Some reports state that they have seen wild Kelpodize carrying children away from rapids, rip tides and to shallower waters when the ocean has tried to steal them away, one even claimed a surfer saw one leap out of the water in front of them and tackle a Sharpedo they hadn't noticed trying to attack them (mistaken for a Dewgong no doubt) from behind. Evolved Kelpodize however are distinctly different to wild ones and are much more friendly and docile around humans due to having been raised by one, though still able to do devastatingly destructive attacks. These Pokemon both wild and evolved by humans have also been known to sing during crescent moons, trainers describe it as both longing and resentful at times, others say it sounds like a farewell and others of acceptance. These pokemon also tend to sing to their trainers purring and making bubbling noises as a sign of deep affection and also gently mouthing them also, old habits dying hard, along with being described as slight hoarders as they too like to collect things of shiny value to them and will share with trainers and sometimes outsiders too.
If however a Melodot was to be reunited with one half of the eclipse rock they can become a Melolus. Researchers believe this evolution is an attempt of returning back to their original form but due to it only being half of the rock in question and likely that Melodot is only a fraction of the original mythical they are unable to return to their original form instead taking on a less threatening appearance becoming more gentle and longer. Their wings are both fluffy clouds and rolling waves, noted to shift quite often and be very airy to the touch, this Pokemon will often return the Eclipse rock to their trainer after a few days of hoarding it inside their form realising likely they won't gain anymore power from keeping it. It's noticed that after evolution these pokemon seem to gain access to many psychic type moves but typing also remains the same, they will also collect and hoard any items they like inside them making the whole line perfect for finding items as long as they willingly give them to you. These pokemon aren't very heavily studied due to how rare they are, one must apply to the museum to be allowed special access to the eclipse rock or be lucky enough to find the other half. They have been seen though floating around their trainers using their long flippers to wrap around them in signs of affection and care, they will also wrap up and hold any friends, pokemon or human and Melodot. Just like the other two these pokemon tend to mouth in affection biting at their trainers sleeves and hands and even hats, along with purring chirping cooing and making bubbling noises. They also sing like their counterparts to the crescent moon, though it has been described as more jolly like they're calling to a friend, but sometimes as well a bit sad.
Researchers hope one day to reunite the two halves of the Eclipse rock and hopefully resurrect the lost mythical pokemon, they hope that this doesn't affect the Melodot population however and its evolutions. Further research on doing such a thing is needed.
