#Kai's random ass long post with no art whatsoever

hi im getting into genshin impact rn and i can already tell that this game is going to be another obsession of mine for at least another 4 months, so here's a list of a couple of thsc characters with what visions and weapons they'd have and why i think why.

Please don't hate me if I get anything wrong, I haven't gotten past Inazuma and I'm actually playing a game w/out most spoilers for the first time/hj

Firstly, I think Henry would have a geo vision as geo is a more defensive vision and most, if not all of the geo visions in Teyvat are primarily used as support or at the very least, secondary attackers. Henry has been proven to... Have some trouble with actually fighting without the help of "random bullshit go", so I think Henry would be a geo vision. Henry would also probably use a sword as he's too weak to be able to even pick up a claymore, let alone swing it; he's not skilled enough to be able to use a bow or polearm, and his ass would not take the time to learn how to use a catalyst. Thus, s w o r d.

imma be real with you, no clue what Ellies vision would be. I've considered Pyro and Electro, but I can't find a reason as to why. I think Ellie would be a claymore user as she literally ripped out a fucking stop sign in less than 2 minutes, homegirl could swing a claymore like a fucking baseball bat.

Without a doubt, Charles has an anemo vision. It only makes sense. Having an anemo vision would make flight easier, plus, Venti is the god of freedom, Charles seems to the type of guy to really like freedom and America or something. Charles would be a bow user as it would be easier to kill enemies from afar and in his heli, as opposed to being in the open and using something like a sword or claymore, plus it's the closest thing there is to a gun. "Erm, but catalyst users can also hit from a ranged distance ☝️🤓" Well, catalysts hit from more of a medium range in comparison to bows.

I can't really explain it, but I feel like Reginald would have a Dendro vision. Nahida is the god of wisdom and Reginald is actually pretty smart (at least in comparison to the other members of the Toppat Clan). Plus, Dendro is one the rarer visions to have as there are (currently) only 11 (playable) characters in Genshin, in comparison to the rough average of 14 characters per vision, so I think it would be cool for Reginald to have a dendro vision. I think he'd fight with a polearm tbh, not for efficiency or because he's extremely good with it, but just because it looks fancy and cool in comparison to a catalyst or bow.

RHM has a hydro vision. Only reasons is that he'd be upset he didn't get a pyro vision and that he and Reginald would constantly be triggering "bloom" whenever they're fighting together. Claymore user. No questions or objections. Claymore user.
