#Kaelyn's backstory and personality isn't much detailed so far / because when I play videogames I flesh out the protagonist while I play

Baldur's Gate companions and their gift of perfect timing for conversation! We are in the middle of a dungeon, there's blood everywhere on the floor (as you can see in the image below), we have just fight some shadows, Rasaad died and Dynaheir thinks this is the right time to ask Kaelyn if she is homesick!
The answer is: she hasn't had the time to even think about it. Leaving Candlekeep, Gorion's death, bounty hunters after her...it was, it is, too much for someone like her, who has lived a comfortable and sheltered life until few weeks ago. After all, she still doesn't know why this so-called "Sarevok" wants her dead and investigating the Nashkel mines is a decision taken in order to find who killed Gorion (maybe; this seems a good trail as the others).
And the "I wish I knew myself" response, the inability to finish the former sentence, trying to use humour to deflect personal questions are result of Kaelyn's spirit breaking very slowly in response of what's happening around her. This will be very mild in BG1 (until chapter six, at least) and it will become way worse in BG2 and ToB. For that I imagine (since it's impossible in the game except in BG2 ending) that Charname's alignment will change throughout the games: from her actual chaotic good to a more neutral one; as she become more jaded with her life and suffering under a destiny she doesn't want (or she wants to embrace in order to change things; she's undecided with what to do with her heritage until the very end of ToB).
