St Joan of Arc

St Joan of Arc was a legendary French saint who led her people to victory during the Hundred Years War. Her claims of receiving visions from a number of angels and other saints were met with controversy. These visions led her to approach King Charles VII with the idea of leading the French Army into battle with the English. Speaking of these visions led her to be tried for sorcery and witchcraft which ultimately sentenced her to be burned at the stake. She became known as the ‘Maid of Orleans’, she was told to renounce her faith in exchange for her freedom but she refused, showing true courage and fortitude.

When I was considering which of the many saints to portray as, the first one that immediately came to mind was St Joan of Arc. I learned about her from a few years ago and she left quite the impression on me. She had been a simple peasant girl who, under divine grace and guidance, leading her people to victory in a war. She became a leader as well as a protector, which was unlike other female saints I've read before. She and her story left a significant impact on me.

Among all the excellent qualities St Joan of Arc possessed and showed throughout her life, the ones that stood out for me are her charisma, courage and faith in God. She had been a very charismatic leader towards her people, achieving victory in battle under her guidance and leadership. She also exhibited courage and bravery in the face of hardships and even her own death. But above all, she showed unwavering faith in God, never once renouncing him even if it meant she wouldn't gain back her freedom and her life.

okay, alam nyo ba palagi ako nakakapanaginip ng mga patay? or bago sila mamatay napapanaginipan ko sila pero sa close family members lang to nangyayare kaya minsan natatakot ako makapanaginip :--( kwento ko sainyo. first. 6 years ago, namatay lolo ko sa father side then after nya ilibing, napanaginipan ko sya tas nagising ako kasi sobrang lakas ng hangin kasi bukas bintana sa taas ng bahay ng mga lola ko ganon, tapos feel ko may nakayakap sakin kasi hindi ako makagalaw, pero dahil akala ko wala lang yon di ko pinansin natulog na ulit ako. tapos lately, palagi ko sya napapanaginipan!!! feeling ko miss nya ko or may pamana sya sakin charot, kalookalike ko kasi sya.second, yung pinsan ko namatay 2 years ago. nahulog sya sa truck, brain dead sya for 2-4 days? yun, nabisita pa namin sya sa ospital kaso alam mo yun, alam mong di na kaya ng katawan nya kasi sabi nila, machine na lang dahilan bakit nakakahinga pa sya ganern. then nung namatay sya, since may pasok yon at medyo malayo yung bahay nila sa bahay namin, sabi ko kay mama di na ako pupunta sa burol nya tapos may tekno pa kami sa libing nya e hirap magabsent don ganun. ayon, tapos napanaginipan ko sya as in!!!! kasi ate ko katabi ko non tapos biglang nagtransform sa face nung pinsan ko ganon e medyo pango kasi sya compared sa ate ko tapos basta kitang kita ko pagiiba ng mukha nya huhu tas nagising ako, nagbalot ng kumot. sobrang takot ko sumiksik ako sa nanay ko at umiyak hahahahahathird, yung kapatid ni lola na nakatira sa bahay ng lola ko sa balayan. parang tumutulong sya sa bahay ganon tapos january 2 yon e, may fave syang pajama tapos di ko naman kita mukha nya basta kita ko pajama at legs nya ganun. ayun lang, tapos nagising na lang ako sabi ng tatay ko sakin, patay na nga daw si gandi.fourth, pinakarecent!!! nung namatay yung tito ko na taga-biñan, nope. di ko sya napanaginipan kaso diba bad meaning yung dream about mabungi yung ngipin? dapat daw kinakagat o binubulong sa kahoy kaso di ko nagawa, kasi di ko alam e hahaha. pero yon, thursday ko napanaginipan yon, saturday ng 12 something am namatay tito ko.so yep ayan hahahaha pero eto talaga, kagabi!!! hahahahaha binabaril at hinahabol daw kami ni don emilio ng probinsyano omayghad hahaha sorry ang haba pero 'yon nga hahahahaha
