The little smirks, the sharpness of her moves, and the way her voice cut through the music, it all made your heart swell with pride. As the stage came to an end and the members went off stage, you noticed how quickly Kyujin went down the stairs to meet you. With the members noticing they teased her a little. However right as you were heading towards Kyujin you ran into an another idol friend of you aespa’s Karina.

“Oh hey!” Karina said

“Hey” You greeted her

“I didn't expect you here” Karina said “You came here just cause or…?”

“Uh, Kyujin invited me” You said

“Aw that’s nice from her” Karina said

“Yeah it was, I mean I would've probably come here…but you know. Once she invited me i couldn't say no” You said nervously chuckling

“Yeah i get it” Karina said “Well, i have to go”

“It was nice talking to you!” You said

“You too, meet later?” Karina asked quickly

“Oh definitely!” You said

“Alright, see ya!” Karina said

“See ya!” You said, with that both of you went your own directions. Meeting Karina, wasn't something you thought would actually happen tonight, but you didn't complain. Meeting a famous idol and complaining would make zero sense. As you walked towards the room where NMIXX would be, Kyujin noticed you. Her eyes lit up the moment she saw you, a bright, genuine smile spreading across her face. She quickly excused herself from her members and made her way over to you, practically bouncing with excitement.

“You made it!” she said, her voice a mix of happiness and relief as she wrapped her arms around you in a tight hug.

“Of course, I wouldn’t miss it,” you replied, hugging her back. “You were amazing out there. Seriously, I’m so proud of you.”

Kyujin pulled back slightly, her cheeks tinged pink, though it was hard to tell if it was from the compliment or the post-performance rush. “You always say that,” she teased, but her smile betrayed how much it meant to her.

“And I always mean it,” you shot back Just then, the rest of NMIXX filed into the room, chattering and laughing after their successful performance. When they spotted you and Kyujin together, their teasing began almost immediately.

“Kyujin, you didn’t even give us a chance to say hi before you ran off!” Sullyoon teased, folding her arms dramatically.

“Yeah, where’s the love for the rest of us?” Jiwoo chimed in, smirking.

Kyujin groaned, hiding her face in her hands. “Unnie, please. Don’t start.”

You couldn’t help but laugh at her flustered reaction. “Hi, everyone. You were all amazing, as always,” you said, addressing the group.

“Thanks!” Lily said brightly. “But I think Kyujin’s performance might’ve been a little extra special tonight, huh?”

Kyujin cut you off right as you opened your mouth to speak up. “Alright, that's enough!”

“Someone's protective” Haewon teased

“I am not.” Kyujin said “Lets just go”

“Have fun Kyujin!” Bae teased

Kyujin playful rolled her eyes before turning back to the group “I will!” Making the rest of the group burst into laughter. But you didn't really care as Kyujin was right next to you leading you somewhere. “Where are we going?” You asked

“To somewhere, where we have privacy.” Kyujin said You followed Kyujin through the winding backstage corridors of the university venue, her hand tightly gripping yours. The muffled sounds of staff and performers echoed faintly, but Kyujin was laser-focused on her mission. Finally, she led you to a small, quiet dressing room tucked away from the main hustle and bustle. “Finally, privacy” Kyujin said before locking the door

“Oh locking it?” You asked with a smirk

“What? Am i wrong for wanting some quality time with my boyfriend” Kyujin said

“Nope” You said going closer to her

“That's what i thought” Kyujin said leaning against a table which was near the center of the room, before taking her phone out “I do need a small favor”

“Which is?” You asked

“Taking pictures of your adorable and beautiful girlfriend!” Kyujin said with a smile You chuckled at her request, reaching for her phone “Cant say no to that”

Kyujin struck a couple of poses as you took pictures of her. You never realized how effortlessly beautiful she looked. Yes, she’s been beautiful all her life but something about her just being on stage and now being here with you in a room and she still looked as if nothing happened shocked you a little.

“Alright that should be enough” Kyujin said, you gave back her phone as she scrolled through the photos “You take great photos”

“I try.” You said chuckling “But it's not hard when you look so effortlessly beautiful.”

“You’re such a sap” Kyujin said as she blushed a little

“Just telling the truth, baby.” You said smiling at her

“Okay, i will post them later” Kyujin said “But, how’s life been treating you?!”

“Oh all of a sudden about me?” You asked

“I mean yeah, there's nothing really going on with me…apart from performances” Kyujin said “Besides, we haven't met and had a boyfriend-girlfriend talk for ages, so spill!”

“I mean nothing major, just college stuff” You said “And work”

“Sounds peaceful” Kyujin said

“It's really not as peaceful as you think” You said “It's stressful paying attention to college stuff and work stuff.”

“I guess so, i do sometimes miss the normal life” Kyujin said

“You? The dance machine of K-pop, misses normal life?” You asked with genuine shock

“Hey! I can miss normal life!” Kyujin said

“Okay okay, i get it” You said “Being an idol is fun, but at the same time…you kinda want to just experience less stress?”

“Yeah, being able to actually sleep more than once in a blue moon” Kyujin said “I love what i'm doing of course, but there's days where i would wake up and think about what i would be doing if i wasn't an idol”

You listened to her carefully, you always admired how honest she was “I get it”

“But, i have my members and you that keep me going” Kyujin said with a soft smile “And i wouldn't trade being this lucky for anything”

“That's great to hear” You said

“There are days where i'm stressed” Kyujin continued “And days where it feels like the whole world decided to slow down just for me”

“And today feels like one of those days,” Kyujin added, her eyes softening as she looked at you. “Having you here, cheering me on, and just…being you. It makes everything worth it.”

You reached out and gently took her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “And I’ll always be here, no matter what. Whether you’re performing on stage or just having a bad day, you can count on me.” Kyujin smiled, her cheeks tinged pink again, and leaned her head against your shoulder.

“You always know the right things to say.” For a moment, the two of you sat in silence, enjoying the quiet escape from the chaos outside. Kyujin’s breathing slowed, her body relaxing against yours. It was moments like this that reminded you how precious your connection was a balance of the extraordinary and the simple. However Kyujin suddenly broke the silence

“Enough of being sappy” She stood up and went near the desk once again, for a moment just standing there before sitting on the desk glaring at you before saying “Come.” You didn't obey, as if she hypnotized you, going to her and putting your hands on each side of her and leaning in closer. Without any more hesitation she leaned in and kissed you. The kiss was slow and tender, filled with a warmth that only Kyujin could bring. Her lips were soft, moving gently against yours as if savoring every second of this private moment. The world outside the locked dressing room seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you in your little bubble of calm and affection. When the kiss broke, Kyujin rested her forehead against yours, her eyes fluttering open to meet your gaze. “I needed that,” she whispered, her voice barely audible but carrying the weight of her emotions.

She didn't say anything more instead she kissed you once again, this time the kiss was a bit more intense, filled with unspoken emotions that neither of you needed to put into words. “You know, take me to your apartment…” Kyujin said

“Oh? And what are your plans for the rest of the night, princess” You said with a smile

“Kissing, making out…” Kyujin said

“Thats it?” You teased

“Maybe have sex…” Kyujin’s voice trailed off

“Huh?” You asked

“You will figure it out soon enough.” Kyujin said, “Let's go.”

You felt your heart skip a beat at her boldness, a mix of surprise and excitement rushing through you. Kyujin had always been the type to keep you on your toes, and tonight was no exception. You chuckled softly, masking your nervousness, and offered her your hand.

"Lead the way, my princess," you said with a wink, earning a playful eyeroll from Kyujin, though you could see the slight blush creeping up her cheeks. The two of you snuck out of the venue as discreetly as possible, avoiding the attention of staff and fans. Kyujin kept her hand firmly in yours, her grip reassuring and grounding. The cool night air greeted you as you stepped outside, the city lights twinkling like a mirror to the stars above. Once you reached your car, Kyujin slid into the passenger seat, leaning back with a satisfied sigh. “Finally, freedom,” she murmured, glancing over at you with a soft smile. The drive to your apartment was filled with comfortable silence, filled only by the low hum of the car radio and the occasional glance Kyujin would steal at you. When you arrived, you unlocked the door to your apartment and stepped aside to let Kyujin in first. She looked around, a small smile playing on her lips as she took in the familiar space. “I missed this place,” she said, kicking off her shoes and making her way to the living room.

“And it missed you,” you replied, closing the door behind you.

“Only for you,” you shot back, stepping closer. She wrapped her arms around your neck, pulling you down into another kiss. This one was slower, more deliberate, as if she wanted to savor every moment. Her hands moved to your chest, her fingers gripping the fabric of your shirt as she deepened the kiss. You guided her toward the couch, the two of you sinking into its plush cushions. Kyujin straddles your lap, her hands tracing lazy patterns along your shoulders and collarbone as your lips move together in perfect harmony.

"Is this what you had in mind?" you murmured against her lips, your hands resting lightly on her waist.

"Mm-hmm," she hummed, her breath hitching slightly as you pressed a gentle kiss to the corner of her mouth, then her jawline, and down to her neck.

Her breath hitched as she felt your lips against her neck “Oh my god” she said faintly

“Feeling good, yeah?” You said with a smirk before kissing her neck once again

“God, you have no idea” Kyujin said

“Oh i have a pretty good idea” You said, earning a shaky laugh from her though her laugh was cut off short as your lips met with hers in another intense kiss, her hands went under your shirt making your breath hitch for a moment but not before you pulled Kyujin closer to her, deepening the kiss.

Kyujin broke the kiss, her eyes glazed over with desire. "As much as I love this," she murmured, her fingers tracing lightly over your stomach, "I think we're wearing too many clothes."

“You’re bold” You said before taking your shirt off

“Better. A lot better.” Kyujin said before kissing you once again, the kiss didn't last long before your lips once again found her neck earning a whimper from Kyujin “God.”

“You have no idea what you’re doing to me” Kyujin said breathless

“I have a small idea” You teased, earning a shaky exhale from Kyujin.

As the kisses deepened, you felt Kyujin become more and more needy.

“Y/n…please.” Kyujin whined

“Please what baby?” You said Kyujin did not respond, she couldn't. Instead she took your hand and guided it under her skirt, right to her inner thighs. Kyujin bit her lip and let out a small gasp when your hand slid over the damp spot on her underwear, her hips bucking slightly. She closed her eyes, her breath quickening.You continued to tease her through her panties, eliciting a series of moans and gasps from her. “Welcome” You said before kissing her on the lips quickly.

“You should probably clean your hand, huh?” Kyujin said

“And the bed” You said

“Yeah the bed too” Kyujin said still coming down from the high “I feel like i'm on cloud nine”

You chuckled before going to the bathroom, cleaning your hand and heading back to the living room where she was still laying, but dressed back into her clothes.

“Here” Kyujin said before throwing you your shirt.

“Thanks” You muttered

“You know…thank you seriously” Kyujin said as she sat up “Not only for that moment but for the night”

“I'm glad it was memorable” You said

“It will be memorable for months to come” Kyujin said

With that both of you got ready for bed as the night came to an end. The next morning the sun streamed in through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. You woke up and saw Kyujin sleeping peacefully, her head resting on your shoulder.

"Good morning," you whispered, planting a kiss on her forehead.

"Morning," she replied, smiling sleepily.

"Did you sleep well?" You asked

"Like a baby." She sat up, stretching her arms over her head, she checked her phone noticing that she had to get up and drive back to her dorm.

“Ugh. Schedules” Kyujin groaned

“Unfortunate” You said “I can make you a quick breakfast and drive you

“Yeah sounds good” Kyujin said You both quickly went to the kitchen, she sat on the table while you made her whatever you could find. After she ate you drove her back to her dorm, said your final goodbyes and saw her as she went into the dorm. As you drove back home you did know one thing, last night will be remembered by both of you for months to come.
