I agree, Bonnie, certain Pros are continuously deluding themselves just like their mistress juvia does. Someone else would have to defeat Meredy and Keyes, I suppose. Gray beat Invel by himself and was doing fine against Briar, and her contributions to the GMG can easily be filled by other characters. She wasn’t involved at all with the Nirvana or Edolas arcs. Her only role in Fantasia was to get petrified and then sacrifice herself. Hmm.
