Palomino Junction

I made this ranch for the household that I'm playing the new pack with. It comes with an open dining/ living room, kitchen, an office, 2 bathrooms, a main bedroom, a nursery for an infant, a toddler's bedroom, a guestroom, a laundry room and a playroom since the kids rooms are to the smaller side. Nectar making in the garage and the stable can house up to 4 horses.

JJK Men as Dads PT2

Suguru Geto 

 You guys having a baby is a definite priority shift. Whatever he had going on before is immediately put on the backburner. Mimiko and Nanako are absolutely thrilled to get a younger sibling. Suguru is more than willing to let them help with picking out clothes and decorations for the nursery. 

Suguru is a very balanced father. He’s very loving, but also not afraid to discipline them if necessary. He very often gets up in the middle of the night when the baby cries. Suguru also lets the kid use him as a jungle gym. His patience is incredible. He’s very big on explaining why certain rules are in place rather than ‘because I said so’. He does have a bad habit of spoiling them though. They never have a shortage of toys and such both from him and Mimiko and Nanako who love spoiling the baby about as much as he does. 

Kento Nanami 

Please get him to chill out because he stresses so much about planning every little thing. It takes him a while to accept that he can’t possibly plan and prepare for everything. Kento values functionality over cute things so he lets you pick most of the decorative stuff though his heart melts when he sees the baby all dolled up in cute clothes. He keeps a picture of you and the baby as his home screen and a printed one in his wallet. 

Kento can be a bit distant and stiff but he’s a wonderful dad. He makes sure the kid has a healthy schedule of rest, fun activities and studying. He spends a good chunk of time learning about whatever his kid is interested in so he can talk to them better. Kento will often bring home small gifts for them at random. If they like drawing, he’ll leave a new sketchbook and art supplies when he notices them getting low on something, always having their favorite snacks at home after they get home from school, ect. He can be strict when needed but his kids never doubt how much he loves them.

My Penguin

Another fluff piece of mine. This one was pretty cute, I like referencing the pregnancy waddle throughout my stories it was nice to have it rather prominent throughout in this story.

The mall was buzzing with the weekend crowds: families, teens, and people passing through were all congregating there. Weaving through the sea of stores and jungle that was the crowded food court. The bright lights were reflecting off the polished floors and white walls. The air was polluted with various aromas, the smell of warm food, sugary sweets, and perfumes - made for a melody of activity as you walked through the mall. 

Jason and Bret stood out as an island of calm and joy. Bret was heavily pregnant with twins, walking practically waddling along, slowly savoring each lick of his ice cream cone. As he walked Bret had one hand resting protectively on his round belly, and a serene smile played on his lips. Bret’s outfit was a nice solid black shirt that didn’t quite cover all of his pregnant belly. Part of it poked out from underneath the fabric. Jason walked beside Bret, a tender expression softening his features, seeing his pregnant lover happily enjoying his frozen treat.

Bret got a little ahead of Jason. Hanging back Jason couldn’t help but think how adorable Bret looked as he waddled along. Each step he took had a kind of maternal sway, reminding Jason of a penguin. The thought made him chuckle softly to himself. 

Bret was just continuing to eat his ice cream. Now and again tugging down on his shirt as it slowly moved up. Bret was almost childlike walking around with his ice cream like that.  Bret kept turning slightly to see if Jason was behind him. A cute little smile as he took another lick turning back around. Bret had a wonderfully radiate glow, a bright aura of happiness. 

They were walking along and came by a toy store. Bret paused; peering through the window at the colorful displays. Jason came up behind him. He didn’t say a word to Bret. Seizing the moment Jason leaned in and whispered in Bret’s ear “See anything you like in there?” he asked, his voice warm and affectionate.

Bret’s voice was cheerful “Everything looks so cute in there,” he said to Jason.

“I think these toys are gonna be too big for newborns,” Jason said, reaching Bret’s baby bump from behind.

A soft little moan came out of Bret. “Not for long, Besides they always have baby toys somewhere in there.”

Jason chuckled in Bret’s ear.

Bret took another lick from his ice cream “Gosh I gotta start decorating the nursery before they get here.”

Jason smiled, “We can go in if you want. Maybe pick out a few things for the twins.”

Bret’s eyes lit up. A cute excited squeal as he started to waddle over to the doorway. “Yes, let’s do that!” Bret was waddling with such enthusiasm 

Jason got a little laugh at Bret, his partner’s excitement was very infectious.

Once inside the toy store, they wandered through aisles filled with toys for much older children. Like Bret had said they did have baby toys off in a lone aisle along the wall. It was lined with stuffed animals, colorful mobiles, and soft, pastel-colored toys. Bret moved slowly, his fingers brushing over the toys as he continued to eat his ice cream. Pointing out just about everything he could see, “It's all just so cute,” Bret exclaimed

Jason found himself more entranced by his than anything else in the store. Bret’s eyes sparkled when he picked up a pair of plush teddy bears, he held them close thinking of how adorable these would look in the cribs or on the dresser. Jason notices a little sticker on the teddy bear's foot. Jason squeezed it and a little melody started playing a music box lullaby. It surprised Bret his excited squeal sealed the deal they were going to bed these bears. 

Moving on to another store, this one a clothing store. Bret was already eating his ice cream cone as the couple walked in. The couple was happily greeted by one of the shop attendants. Bret excitedly waved back. Jason walked behind Bret as they came over to a small maternity section. Everything was too flowery for Bret’s liking. 

“I thought you like flowers?” Jason probed curiously

“Not on my clothes,” Bret replied after swallowing the last of his ice cream.

Waddling away Bret caught a few eyes on him. No doubt it was his bump being more and more revealed. Catching himself in one of the mirrors at the end of the stands, Bret pulled down his shirt. As he left and came over to the kid's section, Bret stopped in front of several racks of baby clothes. Jason pulled out a tiny onesie. It looked like one of those tuxedo print tee shirts. Jason smiled as he got Bret’s attention.

“Hey babe,” Jason said, holding the little tuxedo print onesie. 

“Do you think that’s a little tacky?” Bret asked

“Nah,” Jason replied, “I think it works. They can be like little penguins.”

“Aww that’s cute,” Bret said 

Bret waddled over, took the onesie, and placed it on his pregnant belly. Bret was looking down at his bump and the onesie. “Our little penguins,” that’s a cute nickname. Don’t you think?” Bret asked

“Of course, just like you,” Jason said playfully

“Aww, a new cute nickname? I love it!” Bret said with a big bright smile.

Jason planted a tender kiss on the top of Bret’s head. 

“You’re so sweet,” Bret murmured to Jason

As cute as it sounded. Bret wanted to surprise Jason, so he never revealed the twin's genders to him. But it was Jason who assured him it’d be fine. He’d buy them matching shirts and they could have it be their first family photo. Bret couldn’t resist how cute that sounded. And so Jason bought two of the tuxedo print onesies. 

Continuing depth through the mall, Jason kept a close eye on Bret. Bet often was reckless and over-exerted himself. Being pregnant didn’t change any of that. Seeing an open seat, Jason urged Bret to have a seat. “I’m fine, let’s keep going,”

“You sure I can’t interest you in another snack?”

On hearing the word snack, Bret could smell the alluring aroma of the nearby pretzel stand. “Ooh, that smells good!” Bret excitedly waddled over and sat down. “Okay, go. Go. We want pretzels. And extra cheese. ”

Jason returned a few minutes later with two pretzels and an extra cheese dip for his hungry preggo. Bret let out a little sigh, “I told you I needed to get off my feet. My feet are killing me,”

“Yeah, good thing you did,” Jason said back, with a smile.

They sat there and enjoyed their pretzels. Their shopping bags were resting on the table. As soon as he was ready, he groaned, getting out of his seat. Jason was still seated, it was easy enough for him to get back on his feet. “Whoa, what are you doing?” Jason said to Bret

Bret was reaching over. He was ready to carry the bags. “I’m just taking the bags.”

“No, you’re not,” Jason said pulling them away

“Oh come on. They’re not that heavy. I can handle that.” Bret assured Jason

Jason didn’t allow it despite Bret’s protests. Sliding his hand up Bret’s baby bump under his shirt. Bret let out a little whimper feeling Jason’s burly hands glide against his pregnant belly  “You’ve got enough to carry,” Jason said to Bret, “I got it,”

Annoyed but finding the gesture sweet, Bret had to tug down on his shirt again after Jason pushed it up. “Alright, alright,” he replied

Bret quickly swooped up Jason’s free hand making his partner walk with his hand in hand. Jason had no objection. Together they strolled through the mall, stopping occasionally to look through other store windows and the occasional browsing. A restroom break left Jason standing alone waiting for Bret. He spotted a lone-standing vendor with some unique figures of blown glass. He went over spotting something sweet. 

Jason was walking away with a box he placed in with the onesies as Bret came out of the restroom.

“Wanna keep going?” Jason asked

Bret thought about it a little. Shaking his head, “I think I’m good,”

“Alright,” Jason replied “Then let’s get you guys home,”

Slowly the couple retraced their path as they left and got to the car. Bret was breathing heavily, his waddle had a more prominent sway. Jason kept close, loving what he was seeing. Arriving at the car, Jason helped Bret climb in. Jason set everything in the backseat. Jason pulled out the little little box from the onesie bag. 

Climbing into the driver's seat, Jason handed Bret the box. 

“Oh,” Bret sounded surprised, “what’s this?”

“Something I thought you might like,” Jason replied, starting the car. 

Bret opens the box. He pulled out something in bubble wrap, and unraveling it he saw a blown glass figure, a family of four penguins, all huddled together. Bret could feel the tears welling up. “babe,” Bret groaned out sweetly

“What? Don’t you like it?” Jason asked

“I love it,” he wrapped it back up and put it in the box. 

Bret held onto Jason's right arm as they drove away. 

“It’s wonderful Daddy Penguin,” Bret said to him

“Glad you like it my penguin,”

“Am I the cutest penguin?”  Bret brought up curiously

“You're the cutest penguin.” Jason said “For now,”

“For now!” Bret groaned in a brattish annoyance

“Yeah. Don’t you know, the babies are always cuter,” Jason replied with a little chuckle. 

“Then I’ll hold them in so I can stay the cutest,” Bret declared 

Jason was surprised. “Oh really now?” 

“Yes,” Bret replied. Pouting Bret poked at his baby belly. “You hear that, you two.” 

Jason had a good laugh. Playfully Jason said to Bret, “Okay, I guess they’re just gonna keep growing and growing in that belly of yours.”

Bret sat silently for a moment, “on second thought. You two better come out cute,”

Jason erupted in laughter. “You are the cutest penguin.”

Bret blushed. “ of course I am,”

“You’re my penguin,” Jason said squeezing Bret’s hand tightly

Bret had a smile on his face. Like he was talking to his baby bump, “You like that? My little penguins?”

Bret looked back up. His gaze focused forward as they continued to drive down the road. Bret let out a surprised gasp, startling Jason. The twins were moving. “ guess they decided it was playtime,” Bret replied

Jason shook his head, his focus road ahead. Jason had precious cargo with him. The cutest punch of penguins that needed to get home.

I forgot to upload this this morning so I hope there's still people that haven't started the reaper event yet 😭

Anyway it's nothing much, but I felt inspired to make over the maxis Olive & Age her down and play with her for the reaper event. I initially wanted to try and remake her house from sims 2 (except make it actually look normal. EA builds have always been rough LMAO) but since the event was just around the corner I decided to throw something together more in my comfort zone. Consider this an early little simblreen gift. :-) Anyway info:

Other than that it's all one off stuff that's easy to replace.

No skills or career - I wanted to start fresh but if anyone's interested in a version of her with both I could do that!! In the meantime as you play her I highly recommend the Gardener Career, along with the cooking, baking, and medium skills.

I needed an excuse for this one ☺️ so thank you, anon, for this req.

When Eli finds out his partner is pregnant, he's starstruck. He looks like he's just been told he's the most famous, richest, and loved man alive - and that's pretty much how he feels too. He is 100% smitten with his partner all over again as if it's the first time they've kissed or said I love you for the first time.

He's very excited, getting way ahead of himself as he talks about room preparations and not knowing any good baby names. Once he's calmed down - after an hour or two - he sits with his partner, one arm around them while his opposite hand lays over their belly. Just knowing their lil baby is in there fills his chest with all the warm feelings.

However, at night he worries a lot. His thoughts wander and get the better of him. Being born with a cleft lip and growing up with a surgery scar takes a whole new toll on him. He worries about whether or not his kid will be born with a cleft. He fucked up by researching the risks, which only sent him into a small spiral. He lays in bed beside his beautiful/handsome partner, holding their curves and rubbing their belly (that isn't even showing yet) and worrying about whether or not their baby will have a cleft lip or palate.

In the meantime, he's staying by his partner's side as much as humanly possible while also giving them the space they need. He's a bit of a worrier in those first few months of pregnancy, but does everything in his power to hide that.

He gives in to food cravings very easily. He can't help it, especially if his partner uses the "but it's what the baby wants" excuse. He's pouring chocolate sauce onto potato chips like it's nothing. And no, he is not going to try any of the weird food combos, no matter how curious he might be.

He feels so guilty when his partner goes through bouts of morning sickness or their body gets achy. When their breasts get sore, he offers to give them a gentle massage to help. Same goes for their shoulders to help get some of the tension out of them. He's so good at it, and his hands- fuck, his hands.

When it's time to go to ultrasound appointments, he's always going to make time for them. He doesn't care about whatever else is going on, he's going to go to those appointments no matter what. He loves to see the shape of the baby on the screen and he's smiling the entire time. He's so overjoyed and he cannot put it into words.

When they were far along enough in the pregnancy, he asks to have a 3D scan done to see if the baby had a cleft. Up until that point, he's kept his fears a secret from his partner because he never wanted to worry them, though they are already well aware of the risks. So when the topic of the 3D scan comes up, everyone is on the same page.

He holds his partner's hand through the whole process, watching the doctor with baited breath as they do their thing. When they tell the parents-to-be that the baby is developing just fine, no signs of a cleft anywhere, he feels extremely relieved. It's not that he wouldn't have loved or thought of his child any different if they had a cleft, but he never wants his child to go through what he went through - the looks, the whispers, the bullying. So he teared up with the relief when he got the news.

As for the nursery, he goes for an animal theme. He transforms the room he and his partner picked out for the nursery into a zoo. Lions and tigers and bears (oh my!), but also plenty of hawks, falcons, and eagles. Sock monkeys and pillows that look like sloths. The room is green with jungle leaves painted on the walls, all the furniture a deep mahogany. The toys and other decorations give it pops of other colors.

When the baby gets restless, he reads to them. Sometimes it's a baby book, other times it's whatever he's in the middle of. From time to time, he picks up one of his favorite comics and reads it to them, adding the extra details the pictures give. Sometimes he does voices for the characters and sound effects, amusing himself and his partner, as well as their little one.

He already couldn't keep his hands off of his partner before, but now it's 10x worse. He loves having a hand on their belly at all times. He puts his arm around their waist when they walk or holds their hand (while also carrying anything they might have brought with them, like a purse or bag). At home, he's handsy, running his hands up their side or over their ass when he walks by. He loves seeing the way their body changes with pregnancy and shows it in those touches.

Eli loves making out while they sit and cuddle. His hand is always on their belly when they kiss. He's so passionate and soft for them, but he can't even try to hide it or act normal when they're so close.

He also gets a little turned on whenever they're changing or doing the most mundane thing ever. He'll be nearby, watching and licking his lips as he takes in the godly figure before him. There's no way for him to hide that either, not that he was ever trying. He wants them to know how hot he thinks they are, especially if they have some insecurities surrounding the way their body has changed.

Presses his hard-on against their ass and tells them, "Babe, you were hot before, and now... you're still fucking gorgeous."

(If anyone wants more detailed nsfw hcs on that, I can do it lol.)

When his partner's belly is huge and heavy, he does the thing where he lifts the weight off of them and lets them rest against his chest. He's lean but strong, so he can stand there holding their belly up for a good 35 to 45 minutes. It's literally a weight off of their back and he's more than happy to do often.

However, expect him to say something like "I've got my whole world in my hands right now" while he does it.

As it gets closer to his partner's due date, he's surprisingly calm. He's already got the car seat installed and secured; the nursery is complete and there's plenty of diapers, wipes, etc; the hospital bag is ready to go. Everything leading up to that moment has prepared him, as well as some advice from his mom that he keeps in mind as the days dwindle down.

Unfortunately, the baby chooses to take their sweet ass time and ends up overdue, which makes him feel guilty all over again. But of course it would be his baby that's a stubborn lil thing. (but birth hcs like that deserve their own list lol.)

so obviously babies only need a safe place to sleep diapers of some sort food and some love yknow. but i have a fun, maximalist decorated house so ive been enjoying kitting out the nursery esp since I’m strictly goodwill/value village for baby clothes. (I don’t know why you’d do otherwise. The most expensive it gets at value village is $1.98. I found a bamboo onesie at goodwill for $1.50 that retails for $38 doll hairs. Insanity. They have blow outs and spit ups and grow exponentially.)

anyway my nursery theme is jungle and grey/green colors. I already had a lot of leaf art, it’s easy to thrift and create a bunch of animal themed stuff, and i like animals. Grey as neutral to help with the inevitable clutter and brightness of kid stuff and because im a millennial. The bathroom closest to the nursery/ kid bedroom has always been “what if you took the usual ocean themed bathroom but instead of seashells and the beach it was forty leagues under the sea with epic naval battles and large krakens” so that whimsy is already taken care of and kid-approved. but the bedroom is gonna be animals, zoo animals, safari animals, whatever.

Anyway. We were gifted this very cute sheet set from target. Animal themed, named “two by two” because i think it might lowkey be a Noah’s ark reference but my atheist ass cant really care since there’s no proverbs or big boats on it, just little zebras and such. And i really wanted to get a changing pad cover in the same print. Unfortunately it’s sold out! So i just turned on the notif for restock. And guys. Guys.

What the fuck is wrong with target.

They keep dropping this changing pad cover like they’re Beyoncé tickets. I get an alert its back in stock and i guess the fucking target factory makes one (1) single ass changing pad cover to sell. And it sells out instantly. It is driving me CRAZY. Do i need this changing pad cover??? No. Of course not. It’s not a necessity. I have other prints on my registry, yknow. Plain greys and monstera leaf prints because my ass will perpetually be stuck in 2015 and earlier. But I NEED to get this changing pad cover. I need to buy it. I need to fucking buy it and rate it one star on the target website and go why the fuck did you people do this to me and what i imagine are a bunch of other pregnant people waiting for this stupid ass changing cover drop while we’re pissing every hour and our backs hurt and our last two braincells are rubbing together like the squeaky pickles in SpongeBob. Fuck these little pastel ass zebras.

In terms of redecoration - the living room was made a lot cosier and more cohesive (no more random stuff from the student times).

The nursery got a forest/jungle theme - so Liam is forced to love animals ;) And I am convinced that the next expansion pack will be African/jungle themed there are just too many lions, elephants, monkeys and sloths in the decorations and clothing patterns to ignore (and it kind of fits with that world picture they teased during the sims summit - the one that isn’t San Sequoia).
