watson: bi but still in the closet. he’s a staunch ally before coming out, but he was just raised in a small town and hasn’t felt free to explore his own feelings openly.

mariana: omni. i feel like she could love any and everyone (and would look good doing it)

sherlock: demiromantic asexual. i think his romantic attraction mimics his platonic attraction, which we’ve seen develop and deepen for both John and Mariana. in my mind, he leans toward sex-indifference and favors sensual intimacy.

You know what? I hope Sherlock & Co. goes mad with their version of Mycroft. I hope they just have the best time with him. I hope they look at the version of Mycroft played by Stephen Fry who wandered about naked in his home, my favourite on-screen Mycroft btw, and say "I'll do you one better". I hope they do the scene where Mycroft is first introduced by having him deduce things in a little game with Sherlock justice like the Granada series did. I hope they make him just as much as a little freak (affectionate) as Sherlock. I need more loveable weirdo Mycroft.

He's seen him pacing and instead of trying him to stop/saying it's annoying not that Sherlock would listen he has instead cleared him a specific place for his pacing. Sign of Four Sherlock & Co. Thoughts and Spoilers!

Bloody hell, Mary's death actually made me cry. John talking to us about it like a parent explaining death to a child for the first time made me cry even more. The fact that John knows the show is a comforting thing for us listeners, and feeling like he has to apologise for the darker times made me cry. It made me feel like now it's our turn to be there for him. Mary's death was so much more impactful in this than any other adaptation that I've ever seen. We heard her get hurt, we listened to her get better and start to be happy again, and then she was gone. It feels like an actual death that you could experience in real life from a family member or friend. The realistic aspect of it and the sound of John crying made me actually need to sit in silence for a moment once I finished the episode just to process it. Damn it, this show is so good and I adore it so much. It has become my favourite adaptation, and I can't wait to hear more.
