Sailor Moon- Let Freedom Ring

The sequel to Stars and Stripes is now officially under way!

These two panels made me laugh so hard! FINALLY someone hugged Sakura!!! I’ve been waiting ages for it - especially after this fight!

If I’m being honest, this chapter didn’t really go in my favorite direction, I would’ve rather Endo still been unconscious and never wake up tied up later. But, that’s why this is Satoru Nii’s creation and not mine, he makes better decisions.

Sakura baby you are so amazing! So kind! So perfect!

Now we finally get to see what’s happening on the roof! I’m really looking forward to next weeks chapter!!!

Aside from all that, I’m thoroughly enjoying my Suo crumbs!

Also my baby Nirei! He was so vital to Sakura having the strength to defeat Endo. Sakura’s first friend, the first one to believe in him and teach him friendship.

That’s all the notes I have for now. I was two hours late to this chapter since I was stuck in a work meeting. I’m sure that’s surprising to some considering how often I’m on here, but I do have a full time corporate slave job 😭

you've been studying since yesterday for your upcoming school year. you honestly didn't want to, but your school anxiety got the best of you. what if you fail all your subjects, what if you don't understand any of the lessons, or what if you get left behind, all these thoughts overwhelmed your brain. so now, you're sitting on the living room floor with your laptop, pens and papers scattered across the coffee table.

you were tired — exhausted, really — you didn't want to study during your summer break, but your fear of getting left behind forced you to. your head ached from all the new information, you just wanted to sleep and the rain wasn't helping. it only made your sleepiness worse.

you check your phone to see the time, 1:30 PM, it was still early in the afternoon. you sighed, slumping over the coffee table.

“ you okay? ” togame asks from behind you. he was laying down on your couch, covered in a soft blanket you gave him earlier. he was taking a nap, supposedly. you didn't notice but he's been awake for a couple of minutes now, just quietly admiring you from behind — afraid to disturb you in your focused zone.

“ oh .. sorry, did i wake you up? ” you reply, even your voice sounds tired and sleepy.

“nope. been awake for a while now actually.” he gives you a sleepy smile that always makes your heart melt. “you should get some rest, y'know. you've been studying since yesterday, it's not good for you.”

“i still need to study though..” you frown,

“there's still tomorrow, plus it's still summer break...” he looks at the window, “... even though it's raining been raining since yesterday.”

you giggle at his comment, “fine, i'll rest a bit.” you close your laptop and organize your papers and pens.

togame opens his arms and you happily snuggle up into him, taking in his warmth. he covers the blanket over the two of you and hugs you closer to him, wanting to make you as comfortable as possible.

“you're so warm, jo ... ♡” you mumble, still engulfed in his arms. since you were laying on top of him, you could hear his heartbeat, it slowly relaxes you and makes you sleepy.

togame chuckles, “you're just the cutest, aren't you?” he kisses your forehead, signaling you to fall asleep and let your worries go.

he slowly gives you head pats while humming a song, you close your eyes, letting yourself drift to sleep. he follows you soon after he's sure that you're sound asleep in his arms.

note. cuddle buddy jo i love you. love how his first name (jo) means sweetheart (..◜ᴗ◝..) it reminds me of the movie ‘the hows of us’ !! also, this is my first time writing for him (,, . ̫. ,,)

The first arc of my Sailor Moon American AU has just been completed. It's an adaptation of the Dark Kingdom arc, and next I'll be adapting the Black Moon arc.

seeing as being the doctors companion is jo's actual job, for which she is presumably paid, and presumably by UNIT, do you think they have a policy for when she and the doctor time travel to a different planet? UNIT is a public organisation, its run by the UN, surely their budget and everyones salaries have to pass through at least a few people who don't know about the whole alien deal, how do they explain it, do they lie? they could just have everyone on a fixed yearly salary but that seems wildly unethical, it never happened but what if she and the doctor got stranded on an alien planet for a decade because she's doing her job, and then she does her job of assisting the doctor for ten years before getting back, is she not supposed to get paid for that, she would have fallen victim to a known hazard of the job, and then kept doing the job without being away from UNIT's perspective for any length of time that would allow them to fire her in her abstance, is she not supposed to get paid for that, is she expected to get right back to work, they can't solve the problem by giving her a decade of paid holiday? I know she wouldn't complain about not getting paid in that hypothetical situation, because she's jo and she's too generous for her own good, but damn it I'll care on her behalf. josephine grant are you being fairly compensated for the work you do off planet???
