sorry for the long ask but you’re feeding us quality content so 😌😌 The most recent chapters of trt did in fact have me screaming and crying,, borderline throwing up rocks too tbh cuz that’s a whole mood.

I love the fact that jane and matt’s coping mechanisms clash a lil and that they weren’t exactly making up right after, it goes to show how much they really do care and love one another. Also, poor jane 🥺 her ignoring her emotions and not just having a good cry is a mood but also like my heart yearns for her to stop being emotionally stunted LMAO. I also love that the penguin courting is still a thing amongst Foggy and Jane’s jokes hehehe, and their friendship is so adorable i love them.

OH AND DEVIL!MATT TRYING TO CARE FOR HER SHEEESH i love this man, you write him so well it actually astounds me. OH and the line “You wanted warmth and closeness while falling asleep, and it was his fault for having a big dick that got in the way.” AHAH had me cackling so hard 💀😭

I’m not gonna lie i was rlly hoping for some spicy devil!matt sexy times but what you gave us was honestly even better 😌 BUT with the upcoming devil hunts !!!! 😏 is there future chance of getting some spicy times between devil!matt and janeee??

Their coping mechanisms really did clash here, in a way that was kind of inevitable. I've toyed before with this idea that Matt is fire and smoke, whereas Jane is water, and now + ice when she's withdrawing or hiding away. I wanted to play with that a little here, since it's a place where they'd inevitably find conflict - Matt almost always finds some way (healthy or not) to express his anger or hurt. Jane, on the other side, tries to hide and smash hers down, and when she starts to fail at that, as a last resort she begins to retreat behind cold and distance aka hound mode. That fight was definitely something they couldn't quite resolve immediately, and that particular topic is going to continue to be an issue on and off, in part because, yeah, like you said, they love and care about each other so much. What was sad about this argument was it was founded entirely on their love for each other, and their willingness to do what it takes to keep each other safe.

Jane is definitely emotionally stunted, I ain't even gonna lie. 😂 She's gotten pretty good at reading other people's emotions, and navigating around it, to an extent. She's had to learn that. But when it comes to her own? Nooooope, not happening. She's spent way too long having to hide her own emotions, so now that she should deal with them, she isn't which I'm sure won't ever blow up in her face at any point. At least she has her penguin partner, and her friendship with Foggy!

And thank yooou! I love writing Devil Matt and I thought it would be interesting to see how he cared for her when he was all worked up like that, since we've seen a lot of Soft Matt caring for her. As for the dick line, I had a pic of Charlie in those borderline see-through undies come across my feed while I was writing, and it just inspired me. That dick is bound to get in the way when trying to cuddle, fuckin' hung like a goddamn horse. 😂😂😂

I will say our Devil Hunt this week will have some spice! Matt's still in Hide The Sexual Devil Side mode, BUT there will be some... temptation, during which he slips a little, fortunately for all of us thirsty souls. 😏
