This is also the magical wonderful world of JTTW where monkeys are born from a stone, demons roam the lands to eat holy monks, and fruit can make you immortal. Modern science and biology is.... questionably relevant in this world regardless. So you can basically do whatever you want lol

I saw on a previous post about if Sophie and Wukong would have kids later on, and I agree that since he’s a stone monkey he would be considered sterile. But if they wanted to have kids of their own, what if they asked the gods to make one? Say they took a strand of Sophie’s DNA and a piece of the stone from when Wukong was born and BOOM! Stone monkey baby

I mean there are many ways for them to have a child of their own for sure! The big question is that will they have one and the answer might still be no bc it's up to Sophie to decide. I also like the idea that they will have no child of their own that has their own blood. The idea of adoption is really beautiful thing for them to do and fits more in their character. Especially when Wukong do call all of his monkeys his children from time to time more in a way "we all are one."

So shortly yes it's possible for them have a kid of their own but they won't ✌️They feel like they don't need it so let's adopt instead when the time comes
