Anyways I was listening to Long Live by Taylor Swift and started thinking about the friend groups in Jjk and got emotional

Like it fits so well for both like Yujis group and the prequel with Gojo/Shoko/Geto

Like they’re just ragtag groups of teenagers thrust into danger and trying to come out the other side alive. “A band of thieves in ripped up jeans got to rule the world” like cmon!! That’s so them!

Knowing their lives will never be the same, getting to be heroes just for a little while. Trying to soak it up and just be kids for a minute knowing that the danger never really ends. They deserved to be teenagers! They deserved to screw around and smoke and skateboard and hang out too late.

Yuji trying so hard to help everyone else knowing he’s essentially a ticking time bomb with Sukuna. Him and his friends trying to balance being Sorcerers with going to the movies and dating.

How I interpret the song:

It gives pov Satoru right after Suguru left. Like the breakup is fresh and he's weighed down by depression. You know that first stage of a breakup when you drown in self pity.
