#Ivor's colors were frustrating to figure out at first smh >:/

Harper and Ivor Swap AU Concept art!!

Gonna ramble about them a lil below!

Ivor’s swapped design--I knew what I wanted to do with him immediately. I wanted my man to wear some GOGGLES (which were originally gonna be black but changed em to orange like Harper’s!) I was going for a steampunk sorta vibes and made his outfit look pretty tight? Unsnug? Ivor shaped? Not loose.

Harper’s design I struggled with at first, I wanted to give off a magical/mage vibe and had her contrast Ivor’s design by making her clothes much more longer and loose! She’s a lot more smooth n round while Ivor’s got the edges. 

(Side note but trying to figure out Harper’s outfit took a while cause at first I had NO idea what to do. I’d give her loose clothes then underneath she wore tighter ones, but it kept feelin off to me. I randomly got the idea to make her have oversized sleeves and uh!! That worked out!! She’d probably smack someone with said-sleeves.)

For their color schemes, I’d try to add some of Ivor’s colors into Harper’s Alt. Design and vise versa! Ivor had some weird, dull, swamp like green. It was the most prominent color, so wanted to make Swapped Harper’s cloak have some of that! Also noticed Ivor did have bits of yellow in him, there wasn’t much, so only gave Harper a lil of that as well!  Original Ivor’s belt had blue right in the center, I believe it was his color in the amulet, and wanted to give Harper something like that too, since her Swapped Counterpart is a part of the Order! (It’s the clip/buckle that’s holding her hood together!!!)

Same can be said for Ivor! Original Harper had buttons, gloves, and of course--goggles, so I wanted to make sure those elements were in Swapped Ivor’s design. S!Ivor’s color scheme does have some of Harper’s colors in there, such as that dusty gold and brown... It’s a real nice color combo! I think he looks rather snazzy.....

Ivor’s hair was kept the same but GOD Harper was a HASSLE to figure out. I like to think she changes her hairstyle a lot, but I ended up keeping her hair in the same style as her Canon self! She does put her hair into a big ol’ ponytail a lot!! 

Swapped Ivor and Harper’s comics contrast each other too! Harper’s comic is, like her, real round/soft. There’s white specks, comic panels are curved, and I used a lot of cool colors for her! Swapped Ivor’s comic was rigid, lotta edges, I added some redstone dust and blocks that could be used with redstone in the background to work with his inventor vibes, AND I used warm colors throughout his comic too!!
