The thing that gets me about batcest shippers is that so many of them are so proud and smug of filling the fandom with content to the point it's inescapable. They love to gloat about how they're so much cooler and edgier and smarter than those silly kids who aren't comfortable with incest.

And then you actually glance at the content they're producing and it's like a jaytim coffee shop au where no one even mentions the fact they both have the same father and every batfam member is ooc happy for them with no explanation given and there's nothing to it that can't be found in every other m/m shipping fandom and it's like damn. Not only are you writing incest fic you're writing the most toothless defanged out of character slop. Those aren't batfam members they're the most generic slash stereotypes you can find all over ao3.

It's like. Not only are you incredibly creepy about liking incest but you can't even look at the implications of what you're supposed to be writing. The people who write happy one dimensional batfam fluff pieces have a better grasp of these characters than you do. You laugh about how boring timber is compared to the *spice* of incest and then most of your content is blander than unseasoned chicken with characters that may as well be named OC 1 and OC 2. Incest shipping is nothing but a fun little badge for you to wear to show you're cooler than the "antis". The actual reality and implications of incest are something you will never examine because it'll ruin the fun of self inserting into Tim and getting your Jason/reader hot yaoi version kicks.

Just a deeply boring and unserious internet poisoned lot.
