Maybe if I write out my char's current backstory, that will awaken something inside of me:
Sitri
Sitri was born in the Faewyld within the Summer Domain capital Zephyra (that's the city name I'm currently leaning towards). Zephyra is an oasis city at the end of the nondescript, unnamed desert™ that overlooks the Llŷr Sea (the coastline is called Mirage Coast because kith often see mirages in the distance overlooking the sea). Her mother is a Eladrin Sun Elf with gold hair, and gold/bronze skin I don't know why that's important but that's what's in my notes and no she doesn't have a name yet. She is a courtesan within House Vyshaan (House Vyshaan is the mansion of said Eladrin noble. House Vyshaan is also connected to Wyld's Edge Hot Springs, a luxury bathhouse. Sitri is a Tiefling with light blue skin, turquoise hair, and yellow eyes (notice my tumblr icon). Technically, Sitri is a Fae'ri (Eleven version of a Tiefling. Ya'll have no idea how far down the rabbit hole I fell). Sitri does not know who her father is. He actually disappeared. Very little is known about him. He was a drifter, also not a Tiefling. Sitri's... abilities likely come from her father and his parentage.
So, she grew up with her mother in wealth and comfort though her childhood was somewhat isolated from others. However, she has a wonderful relationship with her mother.
Sitri had a good education paid for by her mother's benefactor/the palace. The intention was that she would follow in her mother's footsteps. She had an affinity for performance, so she was sent to a bard college for a time (her class is not bard. bard is not really a class in my stories but more an occupation. Her class is probably Sorcerer/Cipher... Originally she was an Divine Soul Sorcerer back when she was my BG3 OC because I liked the dichotomy of divine magic and Fey magic. Note: In my homebrew, Faewyld is a godless place. Like they acknowledge they exist but religion is not practiced there).
I am debating if she ran away from home.
OR
She saw a red shooting star, located where it landed, got caught in Bîaŵac (congruent to D&D's Psychic Wind, terrifying storm that rips the soul from the body. Very deadly) upon arriving at the crash site. She survives. Wakes up in the crater, holding whatever fell out of the sky, with source steaming from her body (source is from Divinity Original Sin 2 but I headcanon that, when used, it has the same visual effect as stormlight in the Stormlight Archive).
Story ensues....???
I don't know what happens next.
