screw it im making a bunch of ava/avm ocs cus i cant enjoy media without them for some reason
im way too tempted to make this YET ANOTHER comic (i have two atm someone stop me) (/j i love comics)
The plot is around White Eyes, a theorized inspiration behind Herobrine. She was a much less humanoid figure, very spider-like (and actually similar looking to the wither based on a recreation of the original artwork).
A few stick figures (Silver, Wisteria, and a green one i havent named yet) (Moss? Maybe Jade?) (idk pronouns yet) escape into Minecraft to get Silver away from their not-so-kind creator, not TCO bad, but pretty bad. Lots of messing with their head. This left Silver timid and quick to defend themself, and difficulty verbally expressing emotions.
They get into Minecraft and try to find a place to build a home for Silver, but Jade/Moss, the adventerous yet socially anxious one, hears something from a cave and goes to investigate. They find skulk growing, and hear the noise again echoing from deep in the cave, only loud enough to set off one skulk sensor in very far below.
They go go investigate, claiming they’re getting some pretty blocks for Silver, who seems fond of decoration and the new-found control.
When Jade gets to the bottom, they find an ancient city, and the portal frame thing. They approach, and see something like two long legs banging on the portal. It looks clear, like a completely clear window, but walking through does nothing.
Then, a long spindly leg reaches out and grabs onto Jade’s head, using them to pull itself out. Jade can’t scream or call for help in fear of the warden, so they try to fight it themself.
When it looks like Jade is going to push the legs back in, two White Eyes appear on the other side and Jade is thrown back by the force, blinking with white eyes for a moment before going back to normal.
Jade returns to the surface, and can hear a femining voice whispering in their mind remarking about things that have “changed”, and they end up telling Wisteria, who gets incredibly angry and starts yelling. They go to get help from their friend, leaving Jade with Silver.
(Wisteria’s friend is a villager librarian, who sometimes visits to give advice to Jade, and later White Eyes)
The voice coldly comforts Jade, then Silver gives them flowers to cheer them up, saying Wisteria is probably just worried. Jade hesitantly agrees. The voice does not.
After that we get to know the characters as they get situated in the world.
Jade gets more and more tired, sleeping more. Silver gets more situated in Minecraft, and starts desperately trying to get Jade and Wisteria to get along. Wisteria gets more cagey about stuff, especially as Jade gets more tired. Jade and the voice start to become friends. This will all be in the background, however.
One day, something goes wrong (maybe Jade is struck by lightning?) and Jade passes out while everyone is in danger. Jade’s body transforms into a monsterous creature, and she saves the rest of trio, although hurting them in the process.
Unfortunately, the new body glitches out and the creature realizes Jade’s body is too weak to survive much longer. She meets Jade in their mind eye and tells them she must leave to find a way to release her body or find a suitable vessel (which is unlikely). Well, who took her body? She doesn’t know, her memory is too spotty, but she knows who may know. Herobrine.
Thus, a journey begins to find Herobrine to return White Eyes to her body, which is stuck on the other side of the deep dark city portal.
Wisteria hates White Eyes, constantly fighting with Jade as a messenger, and being very protective of Silver. Meanwhile, Silver is absolutely terrified of them, but knows expressing that will make Jade feel even worse about the whole ordeal, so they don’t until the climax.
