Me for 11.5 months of the year: I should write more picture book manuscripts. That'd fix me. Shame I can't though. No energy or time or something.

Me every year during my Christmas break: I can write things in bed! Even with a migraine and a bad back! Or I can sit somewhere comfy and it'll just pour out onto a page. Editing is satisfying, too. I'm awake all night coming up with ideas but I still feel great. This is the most fun I've had all year. I'll try and keep this up even after I go back to work. (I never do.)
