#It's always so interesting to see Hiromu's creative expression through a medium other than wrestling

I recently realized that newer NJPW fans might not know about Hiromu's alter-ego Cogito!
Cogito first appeared while Hiromu was unable to wrestle for an extended period of time due to a bad injury in July of 2018. During that time, it wasn't clear if Hiromu would ever be able to wrestle again, and for a long while after the injury, he mostly stayed away from social media.
A little less than a year into his recovery, Hiromu started posting on twitter and instagram as the mysterious artist Cogito.
Cogito posts in English and Japanese, and always wears a mosaic face mask. Cogito's artwork also appeared on some official NJPW merch along with a collaboration with Sanrio character Cogimyun.
Cogito never uses Japanese first-person pronouns (which are generally at least somewhat gendered in Japanese) and instead just uses no first-person pronoun or uses Cogito.
Since Hiromu came back to wrestling, Cogito's accounts have mostly gone dormant, but the archives still exist and are worth taking a look at if you haven't seen them before.
