I have a lot of thoughts about ONK right now but the main one is how much I fucking LOVE Miyako. Her character development going from “I’m going to reveal the truth about these twins to the public so I can get tons of money” to “I love these kids as if they were my own and I know I can’t ever replace their mother but I will be here for them always” makes me want to fucking cry. She really girlbossed it up with Strawberry Productions too. I’d do anything for her

renjun liked mark; he was clean, he paid his bills on time and he was an all around good guy. he did have one flaw though, and it wasn't necessarily him, but an attachment to him— mark had a sister; you, renjun didn't like you.
you had moved in a year after he did; you were a freshman in college and your brother had an extra room, and who was he to say no? his name wasn't on the lease— he soon wished it was, cause then he had authority to get rid of you. you were a nightmare. he and mark did everything; the cooking, the cleaning; mark paid his and your portion of the bills, and gave you money that you spent on stupid stuff in his opinion.
“she's just not use to hearing the word no.” mark would say when he'd tell mark about your behavior. “our parents really spoiled her, it's best to just give her what she wants, to avoid anything.” that just pissed renjun off even more; he didn't want to move out, he actually grew to like mark, and the apartment was close to his campus and his job— it was just you; all he had to do was get rid of you, but that didn't seem like it was happening for a very long time.
“good morning junie!” you chirped walking into the kitchen, he grumbled. “i told you to stop calling me that.” you smiled; reaching up to grab a mug from the cabinet, the shirt he was assuming was your brothers raising up revealing a new tattoo on your lower back, along with part of your ass, he was used to it by now; the tiny shorts you would always wear against your brother wishes. “does your brother know you got that?” you smirked. “you gonna tell me junie?”
“it's none of his business, i’m an adult.” you sat down. “besides he won't know, only people i want to see it can.” you winked, sitting down at the table. “mark told you about wearing those shorts in the house.” you rolled your eyes. “please, do you listen to everything mark says?” he was already irritated; and you were making it worse. “what are you two talking about?” mark emerged from his room. “nothing mark.” you stood up from your seat , finishing your coffee. “yo, go put some clothes on.” mark said, you scoffed. “i literally just got up, i wanted coffee before my shower.”
“well you got your coffee, now go out some clothes on,” he said. “me and the girls are going out later tonight, can i have some money?” renjun watched the older boy sigh. “i don't get paid until tomorrow; i just gave you money.” your whine rang throughout the boys head. “please i need it, for drinks.” mark sighed in defeat. “fine , i'll wire you the money, now go get dressed,” he said, smiling while skipping back to your room. “you know you could've just told her no.”
mark nodded, “you heard her about to start man.” renjun sat up. “she could also get a job.” mark scoffed. “don't worry about man, but i do have to tell you something.” renjun nodded for him to continue. “gotta work the late shift tonight, won't be in until the morning.” renjun knew where this was going; it's happened numerous of times before. “mark.” he sighed. “i know , i know but i can't turn this down and you know she's not gonna give up a night out.” the elder boy said. “just make sure she gets in and into bed safely.”
great now he had to babysit a drunk you, on the night he was supposed to be studying. “look, i'll pay the light bill for this month,” he said. “its the least i could do after having to deal with that.” renjun nodded. “thank you so much bro, just make sure she doesn't swallow her tongue, or fall asleep in the shower…” mark stood up from his seat. “again.”
“has anything worked?” yunjin asked. “nothing, he doesn't budge.” you said , downing your second shot. “he's always just so moody.” ryujin laughed. “maybe he's just not interested in you” you scoffed. “maybe or maybe im not trying hard enough.” your friends shook their heads. “and what do you think mark is gonna do when he finds out his little sister is trying to fuck his roommate.” you shrugged. “my brother doesn't have to know everything i do with my life.”
stumbling down the hall of your apartment; putting the code in the door; pushing the door open. “mark!” you shouted, words slurring, taking your shoes off. “mark!” you repeated, walking to the back where your room was— also where renjuns room was.
renjun typed away on his screen, earphones in, not noticing you stumbling into his room that was until his earphones were snatched out his ear. “what the fuck!” you chuckled. “where's mark?” you sat on his bed. “you smell like alcohol.” he scrunched his nose in disgust. “that's because i’ve been drinking, duh.” he rolled his eyes. “your brother had the late shift, he told me to make sure you get in safe.” he said. “you look safe , now get out and don't swallow your tongue.”
“mmh, don't wanna.” you laid back on his bed. “wanna stay right here.” he sighed, annoyed. “get up.” you ignored him, your skirt rising up, he could see your black panties. “yn get up and go to your room, now.” your hair messily displayed around your head like a halo. “yn im not fucking around.” you sat up, your boobs almost peeking out. “no.”
you could barely register anything before he was out of his chair, standing in front of you. “im so sick of you.” you felt a tug to your hair. “you don't fucking listen.” he growled , forcing you to look up at him. “that shit stops today.”
your panties were soaked, watching him undo the ties of his sweats, using his free had to push them down to his ankles. “re-renjun.” he grabbed your jaw. “shut the fuck up.” he spat, his cock hard in his underwear— guess seeing your panties really got him going. “you talk when i give you permission to, understand?” you nodded. “you have a mouth, use it.”
“y-yes.” your mouth water as he pulled his cock out, slapping it across your cheek. “you want my cock so bad it's disgusting.” he cursed, rubbing it along your cheek. “desperate for a cock even if attached to someone who can't stand you.” he tapped the tip of his length, coating your plump lips in his precum. “pl-please, i want it.”
“did i say speak?” he slapped your cheek. “apologize.” he ordered. “s-sorry.” you stuttered out. “good you do know how to listen when im telling you to do something.” he said. “you're not my , hpmh!” your bratty comeback was interrupted by renjun shoving his cock into your wet cavern. "fuck, just couldn't help yourself.” he growled. “at least your mouth is good for something.” he moaned, hand tangled up in your mane. “tired of you always running your mouth.” he pushed your head all the way down on his length. “fuck , time to put it to good use.”
he pulled out; leaving trail of spit dripping down your chin. “gonna fuck your face.” he shoved himself back inside, thrusting into your mouth. “yeah, fuck!” he cursed, your throat contractions around his cock, the gagging and lewd noises coming from your throat egging him off. “nasty fucking mouth.” he pushed your head down on his length , holding it there. “come on choke on my cock fuck you want it so bad.” your manicured hands holding his thighs. “shit!”
he let your head go, finally giving you air. you sputtered and coughed , black streaks from your mascara running down your cheeks. “im not done yet slut.” he pulled you back , shoving his cock back down your throat. “gonna cum down your throat.” his hips moved back and forth a fast pace. “fu-fucking take it!”
you felt the warmth of his seed, hitting the back of your throat. “shit!” he released your head again. “look at you all messy, covered in spit like a true slut.” his cock bobbing against his stomach. “turn the fuck around.” not giving you a chance to recover from his assault on your throat. “come on do it.” he pushed you back on the bed , flipping you on to your stomach. “put your fucking ass up.” he maneuvered your body.
“soaked right through your panties.” he slapped your ass, pulling your skirt down. “tiny fuckin skirt.” you yelped feeling another sting to your ass. “wearing shit like this to get my attention huh?” he rubbed your cock along your folds. “i asked you a question.” another sharp sting to your ass making you moan in pleasure. “y-yes, all for you.” you gasped.
“slut.” he spat on his cock, using your juices to lube his cock. “beg for it.” you whined, only for him to slap your ass. “if i wanted to listen to you whine like a child would've said so , i said fucking beg , come on , beg for my cock like you beg your brother for money.”
“pl-please junie.” you whimpered, pussy aching to be filled. “pl-please fuck me, i want it.” moving your ass on his length. “i want your cock inside me.” trying to fuck yourself on his cock, he didn't like that. “what the fuck are you doing?” he growled, pushing your head down into his pillow. “did i say do that? you don't fucking listen.” he shoved his cock inside you giving you no warning. “fuck!”
he waited no time, not giving you any time to adjust to his sudden intrusion, holding your waist in his hands , fucking you; your ass bouncing. “you don't make the rules with me , i do -fuck- you understand?” you were too fucked out to answer , but he still wanted one, grabbed you hair , tugging hard. “answer me!”
“fuck yes!” you shouted, neighbors probably getting a sense of what was going on, but that was marks problem; you could barely even function, shouting his name like a mantra as he abused your cunt. “fuck I'm gonna cum!”
your cunt was gripping his cock like a vice, he wasn't sure how long he was gonna last. “fuck!” he hissed. “pl-please let me cum.” you cried , legs burning , tears streaming down your face. “you gonna be a good girl -fuck- when me or your brother tells you to do something you're gonna do it right?” he slapped your cunt. “fuck junie!” you screamed. “are you?”
“i didn't say you can, so fu-fucking hold it.” he grunted, you whined , usually when you had sex , you came whenever you wanted, this was new. “i-i can't.” you slurred. “i didn't fucking ask.” he pulled out , giving your ass one last slap, flipping you on your back, shoving his cock back inside you, hitting a new angle.
“yes fuck!” you screamed. “pl-please.” he grunted. “fuck im gonna cum.” he hissed. “cum , cream my fucking cock like a slut.” the knot in your stomach snapping , cumming, a white ring forming around his cock as he continued to fuck you. “sh-shit.” he quickly removed himself , cumming all over your stomach. “ugh fuck!”
you were heavy breathing, coming down from your long awaited high; renjun on the other hand wasn't done. “get the fuck up , we're not done.” he said. “shit is gonna change around here , even if i gotta fuck it into you.” … you were in for a long night.
mark tiredly made his way down the hall to the apartment, ready to hit his bed. “huh?” he noticed three written letters tapped to his door; renjun must've had a girl or some over. ripping the papers off the door , putting in the password , throwing the papers in the trash. “renjun?”
he checked the time, the boy normally was up eating breakfast by now. “jun where you at bro?” he heard shuffling and cursing coming from the boys room , he shook his head , going to check on you— your bed hadn't been slept in. “shit jun she didn't come in last night.” you could be past out somewhere and he wouldn't know. “jun did she come in last night?” he knocked on the boy's door.
“sh-shit that's your brother get up.” the boy shook you, you groaned in pain. “my head.” your voice horse. “my legs.” you were ignoring the boy next to throwing your clothes at you. “junie what-” you suddenly saw the darkness off the blanket covering you. “did you see— what the fuck are you doing?” you shoved the blanket off your head , face going pale , your brother standing in the doorway. “mark.”
“mark bro— whatever went down in this room , i don't want to know , and i never want to know.” he said. “just know it better not happen while im here and keep it down so the neighbors better not come knocking.” he shut the door before any of you could say something. “this is why i said go to your room last night, but insisted on sleeping here.”
“and you let me.” you smirked condescendingly , that pissed him off. “did you not learn anything from last night?” he grabbed your jaw; a loud bang on the wall.
“get the fuck out of his room now!”

Bright sunlight shown down from the sky and illuminated the entire world in a nice warm glow. Soon fall would be hear turning the leaves shades of yellows, reds, oranges, and brown. Cold weather would soon follow after with the spookiest day of the year right around the year before eventually snow would fall and bring with it icy sidewalks and the likelihood of being pelted by snowballs.
So it was a good idea to get out and enjoy the warm weather while you could.
"Dammit! Im fine!" Obanai scrunched up his face and narrowed his eyes but didn't stop his girlfriend from pushing his bangs from his face to frown at him.
"But what if you get lost?"
"We're going on a hiking trip to see a waterfall and then we're going to the movies," he deadpanned, "It's not like we're going skydiving."
"I know but what if you run into a wolf? Or a wild bear?! "
His hands were held up bluntly. "We'll be fine. It's not the first time we've been in the woods. You go have fun at the mall."
She still frowned at him but didn't argue- Only reach over to give him a big kiss to his forehead leaving a red lipstick mark he'd wipe off later. Right now they were in front of the local park waiting for everyone else to arrive. Most of them were already there, minus Shinobu who needed to wrap up some last minute emails concerning her part time job at an office and Gyomei who was coming by bus after picking up his .. Girlfriend? Did she count as his girlfriend if they've only been on three dates? He guessed they were still just casually dating right now and testing the waters. Y/n seemed like a nice girl or 'unicorn' as Shinobu put it but he still wasn't too sure what to think..She seemed ok at least to him. Maybe that'll change later but who knows?
The sounds of the park around them continued through the air as kids ran around giggling and squealing their little heads off playing. Swings to be swung, slides to slide, and jungle gyms to climb. Lots of little smiles on little cute faces running around playing or toddling after parents walking around. Or in Sanemi's case allowing his little brothers and sisters to be climb all over him where he stood eating an energy bar in one hand while his other arm was slowly lifted up and down with two little boys and one little girl clinging to him. Three of his little siblings with a fourth standing just standing off to the side. The second oldest other than himself. No doubt babysitting a few of their little siblings today.
Kanae was letting one of their other little sisters mess with her hair and admire how pretty she was. She was rather pretty. However the sounds of a little PING sound took his attention off his friends and towards the pocket on Mitsuri's right side as her hand automatically dug out her phone and looked at the screen.
"It's Shino! She says she's running late so she's just heading to the mall to meet us there."
"Oh. That's convenient." He didn't think they'd be able to leave on their hiking trip until Mrs. Shinazugawa came back to take over her youngest children. "Anything else from Mei?"
She shook and one of her braids smacked against his cheek. "Nope! But the bus should be here soon! Ooh! This is gonna be so much fun!"
Considering if they'll get here already. They were taking so long and it was already painful enough to have to fork over fifty bucks after loosing that stupid game Tengen decided to make them do. Sigh. Oh well still better than loosing a hundred dollars each. He didn't want to lose that too-
"THEY'RE HERE!"
Well it's about time!
The tall, unmistakable form of Gyomei walked down the road and started making his way towards them walking slower than normal because of the smaller woman walking next to him holding his arm. You smiled at them all and waved an arm at them all as you got close enough to be heard.
"It's about time you all showed up. I was starting to grow a beard from how long it took."
"My apologies." Gyomei smiled despite his apology. "But we're here now. Is everyone else here?"
"Except Shinobu. She's gonna meet the girls at the mall. We still gotta wait for Sanemi's mom to come back before we leave too-" he gestured behind him at the giggling little kids despite Gyomei obviously not being able to see them. "-but she should be back anytime now. The girls can go ahead and leave."
"Are you sure?" Mitsuri gave him a puppy eyed look.
"Yeah. We'll be fine. You girls go enjoy your frilly spa day. Well meet up with you after Sanemi drags us to the movies."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
It wasn't him her cupping his face and gifting him a giant smooth to the forehead before excitedly looping an arm around your arm and excitedly began to pull you towards the other girls. In fact you were barely able to shout a goodbye to Gyomei before the unusually strong woman literally dragged you off towards the other girls. They were all there except for Shinobu whom Mitsuri briefed you about meeting you all there, and Kanae who had to wrestle one of Sanemi's baby sisters off her before joining you all there. Mitsuri and Suma both super giddy with excitement.
"This is gonna be great! We're going shopping and then to Salan,Sauna, and Beyond!"
..You blinked. "What's Salon, Sauna, and Beyond?"
As if you had insulted her,her family, her friends, and cat- Suma gasped so loud you jumped as she clutched her turtleneck. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SALON, SAUNA, AND BEYOND IS?!"
"Um. No? Should I?"
"YES!," She yelled at you waving her arms around, "It's like only the greatest place ever to get your nails done and get pedicures and it has like these REALLY good massages that help melt stress awa- HEY!!"
MAKIO shoved her head aside with a hand with a deadpanned look. "It's a salon and spa with an attaching sauna room and one. It's a pretty popular place to go unwind and relax."
"Oh. I've never been there before."
"YOU'VE NEVER BEEN THERE?!"
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO REPEAT IT, BLOCKHEAD!!"
"Kanae, tell her to stop being mean to me!"
"Ok. Let's calm down now. C'mon. We don't want to end up missing our bus."
Hinatsuru was lightly surprised you didn't run away or show annoyance at the fighting but remained smiling as Kanae hered the still arguing wives towards the bus station where you first arrived with Gyomei. It also turns out the boys were not going to be going with all of you like they did Friday night and all day Saturday when you weren't around. Instead they planned on having a few hours to just bond with the boys as the girls just bonded with each other which includes a nature hike, movie Sanemi insisted on dragging them too, and then they planned to go somewhere to eat before meeting back up with the girls near the end of the day at the sauna. Sounded like a plan.
The ride to the mall was pretty generic. On the way there you sat by Mitsuri and talked with her about your pets. Her cats and bunnies and your goldfish you named Goldielocks.  It was a peaceful ride up to the ginormous building that was your city's local mall complete with a lot of stores inside. And conveniently waiting for you all in the parking lot was Shinobu, eating what looked like a granola bar while she was waiting for you all to show up by the entrance. It got a raised brow from Makio.
"Really?"
Shinobu shrugged again looking at you all. "You all were taking too long. I got hungry and ate something."
"Too long? It's eight in the morning still!"
"Let's not fight anyone! I wanna swing by CePora's! They have this new Summer's End eye shadow palette I've been wanting!"
"I think the yellows and oranges would look good on Makio," you added trying to get the group moving, "Let's go in and see if it's still there!" Your arm gestured towards the large building.
Luckily that seemed to have worked and the group ended up being dragged by Mitsuri all the way to the escalator and up to the second floor where she then proceeded to not stop until she was dashing through the automatic front doors of the famous make up chain of stores. It was ok. You got a cute little compact mirror in the shape of a Tanuki so it all worked out before someone directed your group towards the check out and then a few different stores. This time a few clothes stores.
Honestly you were surprised one mall could have five different clothes stores and no one seemed to care.
Your attention was mainly upon the plethora of outfits Suma and Mitsuri thrusted into your arms and insisted you try on because-
"You'd look even cuter next to Gyomei if you wore these!"
Nice to know that they cared about their friend at leas and you did end up liking a few of the outfits so that was a plus. Until Hinatsuru pointed out something with a gentle hand on your shoulder.
"Hey. We've been going to all the places we like. It's not fair to Y/n to just drag her everywhere without stopping where she wants to go as our guest. Let's go where she wants." She smiled at you. "Pick wherever you want to go, Y/n."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes! Where do you want to go?"
"Well, there's a bookstore here that has a new recipe book on deserts from Canada I'd really like to get."
"Consider it done!"
It was a nice trip to said bookstore where Mitsuri bought herself at least three romance novels and you think Shinobu got herself a book of space sciences. It was another small thrift store or two before it had occured to you all that it was noon already and you all were very hungry. Mitsuri's immediately reaction was to suggest going to the resident cat cafe, but knowing her appetite Shinobu suggested that you all go to the other mall restaurant that had an all you can eat buffet instead. Yeah. That was probably the better idea considering that Mitsuri had finished off her twelveth plate by 12:45 and about ready to go back for her thirteenth. You weren't even done with your own plate yet but giggled as she looked at you in question before you held up a napkin to her and smiled sweetly.
"Here. You have some gravy on your cheek from the mashed potatoes."
She blinked at the kind gesture but smiled widely. "Thanks!"
It was a mutual agreement that they approved of your gesture by the many smiles you've gotten from them. "So, Y/n. How's your day so far?"
You beamed brightly. "It's been wonderful! I can't remember the last time I've had so much fun!"
"Don't you go to the mall?"
You shook your head. "Only sometimes if I need to pick up something or if I'm shopping with my family. I don't really have a lot of friends who're free or like to go shopping with me."
"You don't have friends?"
"Well...Not a lot. My one friend is usually working and studying hard for his bachelor's and he's already busy enough with his boyfriend so we don't get to hang out as much as we used to."
"AW! That's so sad! It's ok!" You were suddenly grasped up into the arms of one pink haired girl who squeezed you tight enough to make you wheezed and pop a few of your bones as she hugged you to her. "We'll be your friends now! We can go on trips and I can do your nails and-"
"Mitsi! You're suffocating her there!"
Green eyes blinked before looking down at your pale face before she squealed out and pushed you away with a worried look. "Sorry, sorry, sorry! Oh my gosh! Are you ok?!"
You slowly gasped a lungful of air after getting squeezed like a lemon before nodding. "Y-Yeah. I'm ok."
If you counted being squeezed like an orange ok. But you weren't going to fault her for it especially since she's been so nice to you so far. After a moment of you all just talking, mostly about what they were doing for classes starting Monday tomorrow or what they all did at the beach together yesterday when the waiter stopped by the large table to collect the dirty dishes ..and gave an annoyed dirty look at Mitsuri who was scarfing down the remainder of her thirteenth plate before adding it to the stack he had to take away eventually.
"Eh...Is there anything else I can get you ladies?," he asked despite still eyeing the stack of plates with narrowed eyes. His tone not hiding his annoyance either.
"Can I get some of the devil's food cake on the menu?" Mitsuri beamed up at him widely as his nose wrinkled up.
"I'm sorry but we're OUT," he bluntly stated before reluctantly grabbing the tall stack of dishes and grunting annoyed. "Can I get anyone else anything?"
Mitsuri blinked giving a glance at the stack of dishes the waiter was forced to carry away before guiltily and ashamedly looking down at her own hands. It caused a chain reaction of glares and frowns from the other girls glaring at him annoyed back.
"No. Just bring us the check."
The waiter seemed annoyed still but relieved to start collecting everyone else's plates adding it to the big pile in his arms before pausing as you gently reached out to gently tug on his sleeve and smiled politely. "May I please have some of the devil's food cake on the menu? Just add it to my part of the check please."
Now this time every gave you wide eyed looks at the audacity of the situation especially when Mitsuri was literally right THERE next to you but the waiter was all too happy to smile at you. "But of course. Give me just a minute to get back to you."
"Thank you very much!"
There was just dumbfounded silence as he walked away after picking up Kanae's dishes and hauling them away from the stunned group as you all sat there stunned other than you who only smiled... Eventually Mitsuri broke the silence with a mumble.
"I thought they were out."
"What the heck, Y/n?!," Makio demanded as you just smiled at her as she gestured to Mitsuri and you. "She's right there! Did you freaking forget or something?!"
"Oh no. I know exactly what I'm doing."
"Why you-"
"Makio, calm down. We can't stop her from buying her own dessert if she's paying for it herself." Despite Kanae's soft tone, her look was obviously disapproving. "It's not like we can demand someone that they can't eat something."
Makio didn't say anything but she shot you a glare as you still smiled at her and Mitsuri sunk down further into her seat as everyone awkwardly waited for the checks to be delivered along with your dessert. About five minutes later the same waiter returned looking a little less annoyed but still had that blunt tone to him as he placed down at least seven checks for you all and a second later a VERY big delicious smelling, mouth watering, chocolate upon chocolate cake slice in front of you.
"Here you are, Ma'am."
"Oh thank you! If you wait just a second, I'll give you your tip!" You clasped your hands happily as he smiled at you... Before you bluntly reached over, grabbed the plate, picked it up, and just placed it back down in front of Mitsuri who blinked in surprise. "Look, Mitsuri! They had some after all and what luck we were able to get you the last piece!" Her eyes widened bigger at you. "Aren't you lucky?"
Everyone stared gobsmacked as you just hummed along going to dig around in your purse for a second to pull out a five dollar bill before holding it up to the waiter whom looked like he was slapped across the face. The moment you waved the bill in his face, he glared at you before snatching it from your hand and stomping away from you table. There was another awkward moment as you left the thirty dollars for your part of the meal on the table before you blinked at the wide eyed stares given to you.
"What? Did I get her the wrong cake?"
Instead of an answer you were given a squeal from Mitsuri and then after another bone crushing hug as she hugged you with a large smile. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!  THIS IS LIKE THE NICEST THING A NEW PERSON HAS EVER DONE FOR ME!!"
You smiled wider looking at her. "No need to thank me. You shouldn't be treated badly just because of your appetite." She blinked as you patted her arms. "That guy's a jerk. Forget about him and just enjoy your cake. My treat."
She continued to stare at you before her face turned to a bright red and her hands let go of you to clasp her cheeks. "I-I don't know what to say. Oh my- Such a gesture!"
"You don't have to say anything. Just enjoy yourself. Sorry if I didn't explain it earlier."
"Oh. So that's why you ordered it."
Makio slowly relaxed as you nodded.... Oblivious to the lovestruck, blushing face Mitsuri was giving you before you slowly got up to excuse yourself to the bathroom and asked them to watch your shopping bags in the meantime. The SECOND you disappeared from sight, Mitsuri slammed a determined palm down on the table and clenched a fist.
"Ok! It's official! Let's do all we can to get her together with Gyomei! She's absolutely perfect!"
"Huh? Where did this come from?"
"Oh..N-No where but we owe it to Mei to try and get him a great girlfriend like he deserves! So let's make her feel welcome! I mean like c'mon! She's literally perfect! She even tipped the waiter so we didn't have to!"
"Are you..blushing?"
"N-NO! I'm just very flattered at the gesture!"
By the time you got back, Mitsuri was already done eating and giddy again especially when you came back. The group gathered up the bags and decided to stop by two more small shops to pick up some pre-ordered stuff Tengen already paid for (a canvas and a box of hard to get paints) before they ushered you back out of the mall and on the street. At least four shopping bags hung from your own arms as Mitsuri held your hand and pulled you along behind her continuing to babble on about...Well you lost track after the part where she told you about how she got into ballet but you politely listened since she seemed so happy now dragging you down the road as cars drove by and people passed by on the sidewalk.
The building they stopped in front of was a smaller building than the mall but still bigger than your house. The sign on the front saying Salon, Sauna, and Beyond. Ah! So this must be the place that they were so excited to go. You allowed Mitsuri to excitedly drag you in after the others and the nice smells of rose air freshener hit your nose along with the cool air from the ac. The inside of the building was mostly white with a few paintings on the wall, some soft looking chairs, and a reception desk where a middle aged woman smiled at you all. Ah. This must've been the waiting area.
The woman smiled at the group and waved a hand. "Good afternoon. Are you here to book an appointment?"
"I have a reservation for a group under Kocho actually!"
The lady took a moment to rummage around on her desk and look for something.. before nodded and happily looked at Shinobu. "Of course! We have your party booked for our three o clock reservation. If you'll follow me, you can get a locker for your belongings before proceeding to the salon floor."
In an instant Mitsuri looked excitedly at you. "Have you ever been to an onsen before, Y/n?"
You nodded. "My cousin had everyone go to one for her bachelorette party, so I've been to one once."
"Oh you'll love it then! The water is from natural hot springs so it's got minerals that's really good for your skin! But first we're getting our nails done and-"
And off she went again.
It was ok still. You still were going to have a good time. It was just a small matter of getting a small safe place to put your shoes and bags before following the others to the other section of the salon separate from the onsen addition. Other an an older woman getting highlights in her hair, your group had the entire place to yourselves.
It was a strange and new but not unpleasant experience there. After all you've never had your nails done let alone had anyone else take a nail file to your nails or had your feet soaked before getting a pedicure for the first time. As said it wasn't a bad experience just new. However you declined the massage offered to you. By the time three hours had passed and everyone had a turn to everything that was offered to them(none of you noticing the second group being escorted towards the onsen), it was time for the onsen according to Suma. There was only one problem however-
"Hey. Um..I don't know how any other way to say this,  but I don't feel comfortable washing with you all before we go to the onsen."
You weren't actually planning on getting into any onsens either and was just going to sit on the edge as they soaked, but you had to bath before going into the onsen and you didn't feel comfortable doing that as a group. Luckily Shinobu seemed very understanding and smiled at you.
"That's fine. We're not going to make you do something you're not comfortable with so why don't you want outside for about fifteen minutes? We'll all be done by then and you can join us when you're done."
You sighed relieved. "That's great!"
"Good. When you're done just go through the doorway and down the hall. We'll be through the green door."
"Ok! I'll remember that!"
Guess who decided to show up in your life again? Yep that's right. Bad luck.
You had waited outside of the bathing area with the long fluffy white robe and the soap the spa ladies had given you to use and waited about twenty minutes for them all to get done (an extra five minutes just to be sure) before deciding to see if everyone was clear. A quick shout didn't get any response and a careful peek inside revealed that indeed no one else was in the room. Perfect! You were able to scrub down really quick and change into the robe you were given before wrapping a towel around your hair. Now let's see. Shinobu said they'd be in the room down the hall from here through the green door. Perfect! Easiest directions ever!
...or it would've been if you weren't staring at two exactly identical green doors at the end of the hall.
You stood there dumbfounded staring between the doors again. There was a sign saying which one was the men's section.. unfortunately it had fallen off the wall where it was hung up and for some reason had been kicked to the middle of the hall so you had no idea which door it had been hanging above. Was someone trying to play a joke?! Or did no one notice the sign on the floor?! Or did they just not care and just kick it out of the way?! Either way you were screwed in this situation. Great.
Ultimately you decided to go through the right door. There was no one else in the spa besides yourself, your group, and the employees. The worst you'd do is enter an empty room or run into an employee who you'd just explain that you were were lost, and you might just run into the group. So you didn't think when you pushed open the door. When you stepped inside. When you smiled at first hearing the sloshing sounds of water. When you called out happily.
"Hey! I'm sorry I took so long! I got lost so-"
You froze as at least six heads turned to look at you in the doorway.
It felt like an eternity to process what you were seeing as your mind just blue screened, but at the same time it felt like someone dropped a boulder into your stomach and jabbed ice into your veins with a syringe. There was definitely a group occupying the onsen in here alright...however it was uh...
They were definitely not girls.
Six pairs of eyes stared at you. Some frozen in shock, some confusion, and at least in Sanemi's case it was a big 'wtf' look. Speaking of which-
IT WAS THE WRONG DAM ROOM!!
The boys all stared at you from somewhere in the room. Rengoku, Tengen, and Sanemi from in the water. Obanai sitting on the ledge looking wide eyed frozen at you with a towel around his middle and his mask still on his face. And Gyomei and Giyuu standing off to the side looking like they had been having a conversation but stopped when you walked in. However-
HOW WERE THEY ALL SO RIPPED-
"*ahem*" Eventually it was Gyomei who broke the extremely awkward silence by clearing his throat making you jump and calmly gesturing a hand back to the door. "Y/n, I believe you meant to enter through the o-other door."
"IMSOSORRY!!OHMYGOD-"
The door all but slammed behind your quickly disappearing form and the sound of your quickly retreating footsteps left everyone else staring there stunned in the aftermath.. before Tengen snickered body shaking lightly before his entire head was thrown back with his loud booming laughter echoed off the tiled walls.
"HAHAHAHAHA!! Well if she didn't think you were good looking before she does now!," he loudly announced with more laughter that turned into sputters and coughs once Sanemi splashed water into his face.
You didn't mention anything about this to the others. Didn't even answer them when they asked what took you you so long and why your face was burnt red. You only squealed out that you got lost but didn't answer anything else. Thankfully they didn't push it and you were able to try to forget about it..but failed. You were horrified by the time you all left and the guys were literally RIGHT THERE  in the lobby and...
Absolutely chill?
They didn't look the least bit out of the ordinary and just greeted their girlfriends like it was any other day except for Tengen who gave you a deeply amused smile but before he could say anything Obanai kicked his leg hard enough to make him wince. So hopefully he wouldn't be telling anyone else about this- A gentle large hand placed on your shoulder causes you to jump out of your stupor and snap up to a concerned looking Gyomei.
"Are you alright?," his tone was gentle and concerned. "If you're uncomfortable being around after..*ahem*" His own face dawned a light pink. "I-I can pay for a taxi to take you home."
"N-No! I-It's ok! That was m-m-my fault! Um...How was your hike?" You quickly changed the subject.
Taking the hint he nodded clearing his throat. "I-It was wonderful. The forest was very vibrant with life and the waterfall was especially alive. There's not really anything that sounds quite as powerful as the Earth's own power."
"It sounds beautiful."
"It was."
*Until Sanemi dragged us to that ghost story knock off."
"HEY!!" You turned to catch Sanemi pointed and angry hand to Obanai. "SUPERNATURAL ACTIVITY TWO IS A FANTASTIC HORROR MOVIE! WAY BETTER THAN THAT SNAKE CRAP SHOW YOU BROUGHT!!"
"YOU DON'T KNOW GOOD STORYLINES WHEN YOU SEE THEM!!"
"That is enough!" The sudden shout from the otherwise soft spoken Gyomei was so out of the ordinary that it made everyone turn on the spot in shock and surprise. His face turned down on a frown towards the both of them. "This entire day was supposed to be about spending time with one another not argue over who has better taste in films. Further more you both are being very inconsiderate to make such fools of yourself in front of our guest for this trip. Now will you both please kindly stop going at each other's throats?"
There was a stunned small moment of silence as the both of them slowly relaxed back looking suddenly guilty. After another few seconds Gyomei nodded before looking back to you apologetically.
"I'm very sorry."
"It's ok. I really don't mind anyways."
"No. It's not ok. We were supposed to relax today without any fighting. They promised and now-.." He just sighed. "It's getting late and we all have classes and work tomorrow. We should all return home and get a good night's sleep. Do you need me to drop you off?"
You shook your head at him. "No it's ok. I can walk home after I take the bus back."
"Then allow me to walk you home. It's the least I can do."
After such a kind gesture,how could you say no? That's what lead to you both walking down the street with your arms linked and the sun barely in the sky, and him carrying your bags in his other hand even though you told him he didn't have to but he insisted. It made a warm fluttery feeling go off in your chest that barely let you register saying goodbye to everyone else. And you definitely didn't see the way Mitsuri was giving you the 'first crush' eyes or the very approving look Kanae gave you. Only focusing on the fact that you were home now and the good feelings in your chest didn't go away even when he handed over your bags.
"Thank you for walking me home."
He smiled. "As I said before it's the least I could do. I'm just happy you had fun with the girls today. I hope Mitsuri and Suma weren't too overwhelming. I know they can be a lot."
"No they're great! I had so much fun. It's the best time I had for a long time to be honest."
He chuckled too and looked like he was going to say something but at the same moment and elderly couple smiled at you while walking into the building next to your home. "Oh look, Dear. A young man walking his lady home. How charming. I remember when you used to walk me everywhere-"
"Oh no. He's not my boyfri-..He is?"
The look of surprise on his face as his head turned to you wide eyed. "I am?"
There was a silence other than the chatting older couple just entering into the building and leaving you both alone staring at each other for a long moment. Eventually you looked down at your feet and rubbed your arm.
"I-I mean.. Would you like to be?"
His white eyes widened to the size of plates as he was taken aback before the brightest shade of red came over him as he just.. couldn't believe it. Before a big smile replaced the shock and he nodded. "Y-YES! I mean- *ahem* I would like that very much. However are you sure you'd like to have me for a boyfriend. I will not sugarcoat the obvious." A hand gestured to his face. "I am blind and scarred."
"If I was really shallow to not date because of looks, then I wouldn't have agreed to that first date with you."
"I am seeing other people whom I love and care about very much. .. I'm not going to break up with them or any other outrageous demands."
"I wouldn't even dream of asking you to break up with them! I think they're wonderful people so I couldn't ask you that. And it's not going to be me dating them. I'm going to be dating you and I'm ok with that." You smiled. "You're the first guy I dated that's been completely honest with me and so kind. It makes me feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world."
"I-... Don't speak like that please."
You blinked. "Huh. Why?"
"Be-Because the beauteous genuity of your words only make you sound more beautiful to my mind."
Huh. You were both closer than he remembered. Just a few inches from one another twinkling under the lights. And you blinked at the sudden closeness too. Face going a dim pink and a few chuckles from the moment escaping you. Barely anyone was outside now, too busy inside mingling, eating the food, and enjoying the evening. So it was just you two. Alone out here with nothing but each other for company. His mind felt completely blank and numb but in a good way, compelling him to reach his hands up and cup a cheek of yours something his rational brain wouldn't allow himself to do. Inches away now. You didn't move away.
He stared at the woman in front of him, this silly silly woman with the beautiful voice. If he was watching this as an outsider, he would've laughed at how they were literally just strangers less than a while ago, but right now it didn't seem any of that or anything else mattered. Not even the topic they had been discussing just a few seconds ago. Or removing the hand that now cupped her cheek. Maybe it really was a mutual madness they both shared or some form of chaos in their lives, but right now....With them being so close...And so vulnerable. It was only natural of course-.. It's what soulmates do-.. Of course they would since-...
They kissed.
"Hey. Do you think Gyomei is going to be angry at us still?" Sanemi gave his girlfriend a glum look as she patted his back.
"Of course not. He's just stressed trying to make a good impression is all. I'm sure he'll be just fine." Her boyfriend didn't look convinced as he gave her a pout. Oh well. She was distracted anyways by the ringing of her phone in her pocket to which she promptly pulled out and automatically held up to her ear. "Hello?"
"Kanae! Quickly I need help!"
She blinked as Gyomei's voice cut through the phone. "Mei? Are you ok? What happened?"
"I DON'T KNOW HOW TO BOYFRIEND!!"

The Big Nice Punisher
I never gave love to Frank and Frank only in a story so I decided to change that
Tumblr media
Y/N should have gotten used to it, now that she was friends with Matt, Foggy and Karen.
It had happened several times that the devil of Hell's Kitchen had knocked on her window to ask for a medical kit since she knew his secret, even if the fool preferred to die in a trash rather than ask his friends for help.
It had taken everyone's intervention to force him to admit that he had a problem, and that he could count on them if he wasn't being chased by an army of ninjas.
More than stubborn, his priority was above all to ensure that he did not bring any danger into their home.
Karen wasn't Matt.
She didn't want her friends to be in danger either, but her moral compass was visibly broader, and allowed her to do more things.
Like coming to Y/N with the Punisher losing a lot of blood, asking if she could hide him for a few days and make sure he was still breathing.
Y/N had followed Frank Castle's trial on television, like the whole city. She had heard about all the people he had killed, but also the people he had saved. She had heard what happened to his wife and children. And above all, she had read in all the newspapers that he was dead.
“Can you explain to me or are you going to tell me it’s better if I know as little as possible ?” she asked as she helped Karen place him on her couch.
"Actually, I don't know. I found him like this when I came home from work. Your apartment was closer, excuse me. He doesn't want a hospital, for obvious reasons, and I was afraid he wouldn't manage to get to my place."
"Okay. Just promise me he won't jump on me when he wakes up."
“Frank is very nice, don’t worry.”
'Nice' probably wouldn't have been the first word Y/N, or anyone, would have used when talking about the Punisher, but Karen was pretty good at judging people, and that was out of the question to leave him to die anyway.
Even if she managed to see the good in him, it still seemed a bit exaggerated and even very optimistic that Karen would decide to leave Frank Castle unconscious in a stranger's house. She took the time to write a little note, telling Y/N that she could show him if he didn't trust her, but repeating that everything would be fine.
If he didn't have a reason to hurt her, he wouldn't hurt her. Really very reassuring.
Sure enough, the Punisher woke up in a panic as Y/N was making dinner, looking around with wary eyes and grimacing when he saw her. His first instinct was not to attack her but to try to flee, but his injury did not allow him to reach the door, his path ending in the middle of the living room.
“Karen warned me this would happen.” Y/N sighed, hesitating to put down her knife.
"Who are you ? Where am I ? Where is Karen ?"
“In order, I'm Y/N, you're at my house, and Karen had a job emergency so I'm babysitting for her.”
“I don’t need a fucking babysitter.” he groaned, holding his leg.
"Look, you don't want to be here, I'm not really happy about it either, but if you let me help you, you can leave quickly."
"I'm leaving now."
"Oh, no way ! I promised Karen I wouldn't let you die and I feel like you're just as stupid as Matt, so you're going to rest your ass on the couch, you're going to eat, then I'll see if you haven't reopened your wound !'
"… Yes Ma'am."
The terrible Punisher then began to look like a little lost dog, speaking little and accepting the plate that Y/N offered him, thanking her with a nod, his big black eyes following her as soon as she moved in the room.
He insisted that he could take care of his leg, but just one look made him shut up again, letting Y/N do what she wanted, since he obviously had no choice.
"I'm not a doctor, but between your broken ribs, the bullet that was in your leg, and the other marks on your body, I will say that it would be best for you to rest for a few days before you start punishing people again."
“No time to wait.”
"That wasn't a suggestion, doctor's orders."
“You just said you’re not a doctor.” he said with a smirk.
“I’ll tie you to the bed if I have to.”
“I’d love to see you try.”
In the end, his leg was causing him too much pain and Karen had forbidden him to move over the phone, it was decided that Frank Castle would stay with Y/N for at least a week. He seemed to be the most annoyed by the situation.
Both women were right about him : he was nice, and he was like Matt. He didn't like asking for help, and he was afraid of putting innocent people in danger by his mere presence.
Yes, he had tried to find Karen when he was injured, but Karen knew how to defend herself, and he would have found a way to convince her to let him go. He didn’t know Y/N. He didn't like the idea of intruding into her home, into her life, into her world, even if Red wasn't far away.
"I also know how to defend myself if necessary, Mr. Castle."
"Of course Miss. And it's Frank."
“I can do the dishes by myself too, Frank.”
“I have no doubt about that, but I’m squatting on your couch, it’s the least I can do.”
A week might not seem like much, but aside from her colleagues and the trio, Y/N didn't see many people. This daily proximity to Frank made the atmosphere strange.
He always spoke little, almost never about himself, hiding his wounds like a proud animal, but being interested in her, not missing an opportunity to help her around the apartment as a sign of gratitude, and listening to her talk about her days with patience and sympathy.
It was almost difficult when his condition allowed him to leave. They had gotten used to each other and the separation gave them as much pleasure as their meeting.
Still looking like a puppy who didn't know how to behave, Frank gave her his number, just in case, taking hers if he needed to check on her. He wouldn't call her for a favor, it wasn't like him.
Obviously, his style was to stop giving any news at all and to completely disappear from people's lives.
Y/N could try to understand. He was dead in the eyes of society, he had a complicated past, his main occupation was murdering criminals… But all the same, a little message from time to time wasn't complicated.
The worst part was that he was in contact with Karen. Her friend seemed surprised that he hadn't contacted her. According to her, Frank loved her very much.
"He's shy, that stupid man. I'll tell him to call you."
"No, that's not necessary. I'm glad to know he's okay."
"Don't be ridiculous, you want to talk. He also asked me about you, I should have known he would do that."
Y/N probably should have too, but because in hindsight she didn't see why someone like Frank Castle would want to keep in touch with her. She had been useful, nothing more. Next to Karen, beautiful, intelligent Karen who he had known for a long time, Y/N didn't stand a chance.
There was also his family, for whom he had sacrificed everything. If he was only "friends" with Karen, there had to be a reason and that was because he refused to betray his dead wife.
This enchanted parenthesis of a week had been nothing other than a parenthesis.
It was stupid to be so sad for a man she had only seen for a week. And yet, Y/N was sad. So sad that she didn't pay attention to the time while having a drink at Josie's.
No doubt she forgot that despite the presence of Daredevil, Hell's Kitchen remained a dangerous place. Matt couldn't be everywhere.
So it wouldn't have been a surprise when she was followed by two guys, who cornered her in an alley and threatened her with a knife so that she would give them her bag. Then one of them looked at her with a funny look and licked his lips, and she tried to run away.
Before they could touch her, the first one had his head smashed against the wall. The other screamed, trying to defend himself with his knife, but the weapon ended up in his leg, and he was knocked out with a punch.
Slowly so as not to frighten her further, Frank helped her up, checking her for injuries and returning her things.
"Are you alright ?"
"Yes. I was careless."
“Not your fault, sweetheart.”
"I guess we're even now." she tried to joke, while sobbing. Y/N hoped he would think it was because of the shock, and not because she thought she wouldn't see him again afterwards.
This didn't make him laugh. He looked at her with his sad, worried eyes, shyly rubbing her shoulder as he listened to her breathing, waiting for her to calm down.
Then still without a word, he took out his coat to put it on her shoulders before walking her home.
There, he only left her when she was sitting on the sofa, to go get her a glass of water, letting go of it when he was sure she was holding it well, and remaining kneeling on the floor right next to her.
"… Karen said you were angry. Because I didn't call." he whispered, his eyes stopping from staring at her for a second.
"Karen is talking nonsense. I'm a big girl, and you owed me nothing. Nothing at all. I was happy to help you, and stupid to think that… Thanks for saving me. You don't have to stay."
Silence returned, but Frank didn't move. He stayed until she finished her glass, then until she was done shaking and crying, his hand never leaving hers.
But he still didn't move. And in that moment, Y/N wondered if he too had been disappointed when their week together was over.
Maybe Karen was right, he was shy, and he didn't want to put her in danger by staying in contact with her. As stubborn and insufferable as Matthew. And also nice. Why else would he have been there to protect her ?
"It's not a good idea." he suddenly muttered, closing his eyes.
"What ?"
Frank sighed, seeing that she might cry again. He could have left right away, because he didn't think his presence was a good idea, and probably he was right. No doubt it was ridiculous to love the Punisher.
But continuing to mutter, he stood up slightly, pressing his forehead against hers. Now he held both hers hands, looking desperate, opening pleading eyes.
He couldn't stay, but that didn't mean he didn't want to more than anything in the world.
"It's not a good idea." he repeated, however, as if to force himself to move, to remember his course of action, and he was quickly on his feet, ready to leave.
“Frank…”
"No."
“Frank…”
The door was closed as quickly as it had been opened and in an instant Frank was there again, kissing her like a thirsty man who had just found an oasis in the middle of the desert.
But the moment was furtive, almost a mirage, because the soldier quickly shook his head, swearing and saying again that it really wasn't a good idea, before fleeing the apartment.
Y/N could have been mad at him for that. But she was too busy touching hers lips, thinking that if he had kissed her against his principles, maybe Frank Castle loved her enough to come back.
This idea stayed with her, after she received a message just before going to sleep. Simple message, which made her smile.
"I was happy too. You're not stupid. Good night."
Yes, they would probably see each other again. In secret, at times when she wouldn't expect to find him in her apartment. But she was a bit used to Matt, Foggy and Karen. This wouldn't be a problem at all.

I'm Always Funny. You're Just Not Smart Enough To Keep Up. (Teaser!)
Max Verstappen X reader
Danny Ricciardo X reader platonic.
Not sure if anyone here is an F1 fan but I've recently gotten into F1 and I've started writing a small fanfiction of Max Verstappen Fake relationship Au! Please tell me if you like this and want the rest of it! Enjoy~
Tumblr media
Max had just broken up with his long time girlfriend Kelly Piquet.
They had disagreed on their future plans and had decided it would be better to part ways. It was an amicable split and Max still visited Penelope. However, the media wasn’t kind to him, not that it usually was.
Fans were in a roar over the split calling him all sorts of names for the past seven months.
It wasn’t too bad until the sponsors started to look a bit concerned over the state of the media.
Y/N, being a small town girl from Perth Australia, knew Daniel Ricciardo from when she was younger. His sister Michelle would babysit Y/N from time to time and that's how she came to meet the ever enthusiastic personality that was Daniel.
Daniel, alongside Michelle, had been like an older sibling to Y/N. He would always visit her or text her to catch her up on his state of affairs.
After his ill-fated departure from Mclaren, to which Y/N was still fuming over. He had spent two months back in Australia, lounging around before Y/N and Michelle told him to get back into what he really loved.
Sure enough, Daniel returned to RedBull as a reserve driver alongside his old teammate Max Verstappeh and Sergio “Checo” Perez.
It was at this point Max had been receiving scalding comments and the Public Relations (PR) Manager had decided it would be a good idea for Max to date someone new with good media presence. Someone who the fans were bound to like.
That is exactly where Y/N came in. She had been featured on Daniel's social media before and made small cameo’s on RedBull and Mclaren videos, wishing Danny luck in his races or even supporting him in person.
~~~~~~
Max walked alongside Y/N at a brisk pace. They were wading through the crowd of press just before the paddock and after the car park. Y/N was slightly uncomfortable with the firm grip that Max had on her hand but refrained from speaking up. He, after all, was paying her salary, so to speak.
“Smile,” Max grunted out. Nodding at the press and giving half smiles in a seemingly out of character style.
Y/N, who was already smiling hissed through her teeth.
“The hell you think I'm doin’ mate?” She then turned slightly away to wave at the photographers,
“Morning! Hope you’re all well rested! Make sure to drink enough water too!” She called out to the mass of people. Y/N understood that these people had to make a living and if you were nicer to them, they were bound to return the favour, although that was easier said than done.
Verstappen kept a pleasant expression as he continued to walk past people, signing hats along the way.
“When can we stop this damn circus act?” He hissed into her ear, his voice sounding like the grind of gravel.
“Whenever your PR Manager lets us.” She replied, her smile unfaltering as she kept walking beside him.
“This is all a stupid waste of money and time.” He grumbled under his breath. “This whole relationship thing and the sponsors.” Y/N cocked her head knowingly and replied,
"You need those sponsors and so does RedBull. Anyways, don’t give me a hard time because of it, yeah? I’m just doing my job to the best of my ability.” It wasn't as if she didn't want the money, however she also did it to help out Danny. Apparently the situation had made Max a little crabby.
Max sighed, “You have no idea who many different people we have to play happy couple for to satisfy the sponsors.” to which Y/N smirked and retorted with.
“I dunno, maybe the whole world, Mr Formula 1 World Champion?” Max rolled his eyes dismissively, effectively losing his facade.
“Do you know how much the sponsors pay me to keep you around? Don’t smart mouth me man.” He spat out, scowling and crossing his arms defensively. He pointed at the camera’s who had now turned back to you at the suddenly escalating conversation as moths were drawn to light.
Luckily they hadn’t heard the conversation, only seen the wild gestures that Max had thrown out in exasperation.
Y/N, being the quick thinker she was, gently patted his shoulder and stepped closer to him,
“Calm down mate, they’re looking at us. Let’s just get inside the paddock yeah? Then we can argue when we get to the motor home.” She whispered slowly, hoping to ease his stress.
“Whatever, " Verstappen muttered, his voice ever harsh and monotonous.
He led her by the small of her back past the photographers and past the gates and into the paddock. He kept you firmly by his side while remaining silent. It seemed like he wasn’t going to talk until they were both tucked into a private building. Or as private as it would get.
As they briskly walked by, they passed some children who were staring in awe at Max. Y/N smiled at the children and tugged on his short sleeve gently.
“Max, give them an autograph! Look, they're so cute. This one’s wearing a mini version of your race suit!” She exclaimed, clearly taken by the children who were bubbling with energy.
Max, as a result of Y/N’s excitement, stopped walking and looked over at her with his signature grim expression before seeing the children. His eyes shifted and his expression became light hearted and almost charming.
“Yeah, alright I’ll sign a few things for you guys.” He grinned at the kids that had gathered around began thanking him incredulously in adoration as their favourite Formula one driver signed their shirts and caps.
Max suddenly turned to Y/N with a small smile,
“Here,” he said, handing her a sharpie, “You should sign one too. They’ll like it.” Y/N shook her head, shy from the sudden attention.
“But I’m not famous like you. They don’t know me.” She turned to the children, sheepish, waiting for them to collectively agree. Yet, to her surprise one of the younger girls reached out to hug her and exclaimed,
“I know you! You’re Max’s girlfriend! My older brother says you’re pretty!” The little girl beamed up at her and pointed at an older male of similar facial structure who was blushing.
Y/N laughed in surprise and smiled brightly at the young girl.
“Hey love! Would you like me to sign your shirt?” She kneeled down to face the girl and all the younger kids. The children that were now surrounding you went crazy, screaming “Yes!” and “Please!”
They held out their belongings for her to sign, clearly overjoyed. She laughed in delight while Max looked on, while chatting to other young fans.
Y/N gave each of them a hug before signing their shirts.
“Oh and here!” She took out a large ziplock bag that was filled to the brim with friendship bracelets she had made for the fans.
“Take these! There’s enough for all of you.” She ruffled the closest childs hair. Max watched in amusement as the children who were absolutely beside themselves, trying on their new bracelets.
“You’re good with the fans,” he said, actually sounding genuine and kind for once. Y/N shook her head, smiling and waving at the children still as they walked away.
“Nah, I just love the kids. I want them to have good memories that build into hope and motivation.” She looked at Max and gave him a small smile.
“That’s very kind of you.” Verstappen replied, sounding surprisingly sincere. They both walked towards the motorhouse and as they reached the entrance Max opened the door for Y/N and signalled for her to enter.
Y/N walked through, thanking him on the way and waved hello while passing all the staff and volunteers of the Red Bull team.
The pair made their way, through all the greetings and then into Max’s room where Max closed the door behind them both and then turned to face Y/N.
“Alright, no more fake smiles or pleasantries. He sighed, “Do you know how long we’re stuck with this whole fake relationship thing?” He asked while plopping down onto his bed, unceremoniously to which Y/N shook her head. She herself was unsure.
“Nope. I was hired for a year-long contract but it wasn’t definitive,” She sighed and sat down on his chair and spun to face him.
“I think it wouldn’t be too bad for us to be friends Max.” She sat forward with her elbows on her knees.
“It’s not like we’re attracted to each other. It would make life easier if we got along, no?" Max stared at her, inquisitive.
“Friends.” He said slowly, almost as if tasting the word before he tilted his head to say,
“Friends don't usually get paid to be with one another.” Max raised his eyebrows.
“But, I guess being friends wouldn't be too bad. It’s not like anything would happen between us anyways.” Y/N nodded and chuckled,
“I mean, I get paid to pretend to be your girlfriend. We could totally do it from afar y’know?” she shrugged, smiling.
“That sounds like a great idea.” Max said sarcastically.
“I’ll just yell ‘I love you’ through a megaphone at you from a distance and we’ll keep it going that way.” He smirked mischievously, crossing his arms to which Y/N burst into laughter in sheer surprise.
“Right! That would get all the fans roaring.” She chuckled loudly, enjoying his dry humour.  She gave him a genuine smile before asking,
“You’re really funny when you want to be huh?”
Verstappen rolled his eyes with a subtle upturn in lips at your amusement. Y/N had an instinct that he was proud of the reaction he got out of her.
“I’m funny all the time.” He retorted, “You’re just not smart enough to pick up on it.” He said with a cocky smile.
"Bodyguard" || James Valdez x Reader (PART 1)
Tumblr media
Summary: You are Camila Vargas' daughter and you're used to your mother's meetings with people who don't seem trustworthy at all. One day, however, your mom invites you to one of these meetings along with a man, James, who she says will become your bodyguard.
I apologize in advance for any possible grammatical errors, English is not my native language.
Pairings: James Valdez x Reader
Word count: 1,5k
Warnings: Swear words, description of sexual content
Mi amor, I need to introduce you to someone.
This was the message I had received from my mother, Camila Vargas. The tone of the message was neutral, but it didn't bode well. I walked through the long hallway of our villa, arriving at the door of her office. I knew perfectly well what my mother's job was, but I had never wanted to get involved, and neither did she feel the need for it.
I knocked on the door twice, and from inside, I heard a voice telling me to come in. I had never been in that room before, and at first glance, it looked like the typical office of an accountant. Standing next to my mom, there was a man I had never seen before. He didn't seem like one of those men with questionable faces that I often saw around the house.
"Mi pequeña, I wanted to introduce you to James Valdez. James is one of my trusted men, and he will be tasked with being your bodyguard," said my mom.
My bodyguard? I looked at the man, and from his expression, he wasn't thrilled about babysitting me and following me around.
"Is something going on?" I wasn't stupid; if things were calm, she would never need someone to protect me.
"Let's just say I'm working on something. Anyway, that's all for now. James, your job starts now," and with that, my mom dismissed us.
I left the room with James behind me, and as I walked down the hallway that led me to that room, I turned to get a better look at James.
"So, you're my new babysitter?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Seems like it," he replied, trying to look elsewhere. He wasn't thrilled, and it was obvious.
"I'm sorry you're forced to do this; it's clear you're not happy," I said sincerely. He seemed surprised that I spoke to him so candidly.
"It's not so terrible to take you out for food and shopping," he said, winking. At that moment, I was quite irritated.
"Do you think that just because I'm Camila Vargas's daughter, all I do in my free time is shopping? Darling, you've got me all wrong," I replied angrily and quickly walked away.
He ran after me trying to catch up, but I reached my room first and locked the door. I couldn't stand the idea that he thought that of me. If he thought it, anyone could.
"Open this door," he said firmly from the other side. I didn't respond to him.
"Y/N, open this damn door, or I'll kick it down," he said again. In the end, I gave in and opened it.
"Thanks," he said, forcing his way in and locking the door behind him. Then he grabbed me by the arms and pushed me against the wall.
"Listen, kid," his face was inches from mine, "I have no desire to make this job harder than it is. I respect your mother; she entrusted me with the most important thing to her, and that's fine. But you're still a kid, and you need to learn that you can't behave like this with me." His words hit me hard and made my head spin. I didn't actually know if it was spinning because of his words or because he was so close to me and in a rather inappropriate position. I nodded, and he let me go. I was nervous; how dare he call me a kid?
"I want to sleep now," I told him, moving away from him and getting under the covers. He settled in the chair at my desk. If I told him to leave, he would get angry again, so I tried not to think about it and tried to sleep.
***
I woke up groggy. I didn't know how long I had been sleeping. As soon as I woke up, I saw James in the same position I had left him, and he was staring at me. "Good morning, princess, slept well?" He was mocking me. I was starting not to like him. I huffed and got out of bed. I was all disheveled and needed to freshen up.
"I'm going to take a shower," I said, stretching. I noticed he was watching me, so I looked at him too.
"Want to come with me?" I teased him. He looked at me with a mix of hatred and excitement. After all, he was still a man. I shrugged and headed towards the shower.
"Keep the door open," he said firmly. "Forget it," I snapped.
"Fine," he replied, getting up and following me into the bathroom. He leaned against a cabinet and gestured for me to do what I needed to do. I rolled my eyes.
"Fine, I'll keep the door open, but get out of here," I finally replied. He went back to sit on the desk chair. I undressed behind a corner and wrapped a very large towel around myself. I only took it off when I was in the shower with the door closed. The warm water was so relaxing that I stayed there for a while. Maybe too long, because at one point, I heard a knock on the shower door.
"Oh my God, everything's fine, I'm just relaxing," I replied to the figure of James tapping on the shower. He backed away, and I tried to finish what I was doing quickly before he came back to bother me. After getting out of the shower, I dried off quickly behind the corner and then went to my room. I took out some underwear and a very short and colorful summer dress.
"Can you at least turn around?" I said to James, and he did. I made sure there were no mirror surfaces where he could peek, and then I quickly got dressed. "Done," I told him, and he turned around, still looking at me. His expression ran all over my body. I felt a bit uncomfortable, so I was the first to look away. Then I grabbed the hairdryer from the bathroom and started drying my hair. At one point, I saw James behind me; he took the hairdryer from my hand and started drying my hair. I didn't know how to react to that situation, so I let him do it.
"Thank you," I said at the end, and he didn't say anything. I looked at the clock; it was almost eight, and my stomach wanted to be filled.
"Do you want to go grab something to eat?" I asked him, and he nodded.
He insisted on taking his car and driving me to a place. When we arrived, I noticed it was a typical American diner. We sat at a table and ordered food. The waitress almost had a heart attack seeing James, as if he were the most handsome man in the world.
"Hey, look who it is," a voice behind me said. It was my ex-boyfriend, one of the people I hated the most in the world. "Hi," I barely replied.
"And who's this, your new boyfriend? Are you fucking?" He said. He was starting to irritate me.
"Listen, asshole, do you leave by yourself or do I have to make you leave? I'm not as nice as I seem," James replied.
"Ohhh, so she really gave it to you. Man, you're lucky, she didn't want to do anything with me, using the excuse of virginity," he laughed.
"Maybe ask yourself some questions then," I said, rolling my eyes.
James suddenly stood up, grabbing him by the collar and shaking him.
"Wasn't I clear enough?" His face was inches from my ex-boyfriend's, and it was quite menacing. My ex began to tremble in fear.
"Sorry, man, I'll leave you guys alone," he said, still trembling, and quickly ran away. "You associated yourself with a guy like that?" James said to me, but noticing that I was embarrassed by what my ex-boyfriend had said in front of him, he dropped the subject, and silence fell between us. When the food arrived, I attacked the plate without looking at James and finished it very quickly.
"It was very good," I said only, still looking down. James remained silent, but after a few seconds, he began to speak. "Listen, Y/N, you did well not to go with that guy. You would have regretted it for sure," his words were understanding and comforting, and they made me feel good.
"Anyway, I didn't think you were still a virgin," he added as if it were a normal thing to say.
"What do you mean?" I asked, curious about his statement.
"I mean, you're a beautiful girl, you could have anyone at your feet," he said. "Once again, you've judged me as someone I'm not," I replied, but this time I wasn't angry.
"It seems so," he replied, smiling at me. It was the first time he smiled, and I understood why the waitress had felt faint when we arrived. He was really handsome. I tried to brush off these thoughts, but he seemed to notice. "What's wrong, do you like my smile?" he said, winking, just like I had done earlier inviting him to come into the shower with me. I looked away. At one point, I heard the beep of his phone. He looked at the phone.
"Okay Y/N, we have a problem. I need to take you away from here, to an isolated and safe place," he said, suddenly becoming serious.
I didn't understand what was happening, but with him, I felt safe.
Cld I req platonic!yan!Peter b Parker with a teenage civilian reader? Maybe they babysit mayday 4 him and he starts seeing the kid as one of his own and kinda kidnaps them
Define kidnap
You are a high school senior trying to save up for life. Not even college because it's not something that would work out for you given housing, time, and direction. So living with your family and throwing money on the table with everyone else was the way to go.
Peter has the dual job of being Spiderman across universes and as much as MJ doesn't really worry for Mayday's safety overall she would like her to have an understanding of normal civilian life. So he can't take her around all the time.
MJ has a job, she is not a stay at home mom and there is no take your kid to work option. Mayday is too young for any kind of school and before all of that Mayday has the toddlers separation anxiety.
They need to have her taken care of while making sure she doesn't have a breakdown. Hence, you.
They go through a few people before landing on you. Because you are such a good fit for times and Mayday you make a place for yourself pretty quickly.
The point of no return was the day you spent the night. The first of many. Peter got stuck cleaning up a multidimensional mess and MJ got stuck at work. Because you didn't call either of them they assumed the other was home. When they got home they asked why you were still there and you simply said you knew they were busy so you didn't want to bother. It was two in the morning so they let you stay and even dropped you off at the station.
After, you assured that your parents weren't concerned. To you you were saying they trusted you to be safe and responsible. What they heard was your parents didn't pay attention to you, something that was half true.
It was a soft change.
They started asking you more questions about your life to the point you just told them anything they asked with no reservations. About the girl who sat behind you that you thought was super cute. About your general distaste for corporate jobs. About your brother's disrespectful attitude with no consequences.
You started staying longer, long enough to stay after dinner. Something you questioned at first but it was brushed off by saying it was to make putting Mayday down easier. It became harder and harder to leave before dark and it would be bad if something happened to you on your way home.
Their manipulation has no malice, they genuinely want what's best for you.
Peter brings up the idea first. "What if they just don't go home?" MJ wasn't onboard. Until you came a few days later with a bruise and a split lip. It was a stupid accident of you literally running into a pole but no one ever took that explanation.
MJ is the one to ask you to basically be a live in help after you graduate and gives you a soft smile after you politely decline. The guest room is always there if you need to stay for any reason. And the day you graduate they have a little party for you, give you a crown and everything.
You're not locked in, you're just not given much chance to leave.
The only time you will be locked in is if Peter deems it's not safe for you to go home. A little dark outside? That's fine, he'll walk you to the station. Family stressing you out? He'll trust you'll tough it out. Real danger is Scorpion on the loose or a new tech company hiring interns fresh from high school.
As time goes on Mayday is starting to expect you there to the point if you're gone too long she'll drop in mood and when you come back she won't leave you alone.
As far as the Spiderman stuff goes, you find out when there's a villain on the street he doesn't know how to deal with yet so he plucks you off the street and takes you to his house. He asks MJ to keep you there and she does. You have already become an important part of the family to them and to you so it's something you just take in stride.
All in all they won't force you to stay. But sometimes there is melatonin in your drink. Sometimes they come home late. Sometimes the weather is shit. Sometimes Mayday won't stop crying. Sometimes you can't find your bag.
How long have you stayed?
Since I am rather serious about some day writing nihpil Tanya verse I am trying out characters and Nora just doesn't make sense to me
Like She is a single mother who works, right?
Then she should have had babysitters at hand, someone who does it regularly, somone she can call if they are not available I don't know, didn't she have like friends or family or even neighbours?
Nora asking Cas or Steve who was practically a stranger to stay with her kid is just straight up stupid
Oh yeah it's totally unrealistic. What single woman would invite a random guy she obviously doesn't know anything about into her house, let alone leaving her baby with him?
Clearly the sole purpose of the Nora character and her only two or three scenes was to demonstrate Castiel being miserable and humiliated in his human life. For that reason, unlike many Castiel fans, I don't hate Nora, I don't even fault her. She never had a chance, if you know what I mean.
And really, without this contrivance, we wouldn't get the "Castiel comforting baby Tanya and vice versa" scene, which I do like, obviously. So I am grateful to her for that.
And thirdly, as far as Castiel's humiliation goes, it was so mild, especially in contrast with what the others dished out to him, it's almost inconsequential. There was zero evidence that Castiel had any feelings for her. It was just one more routine disappointment. I am more angry that Nora didn't pay for his babysitting service--Cas was homeless and needed the money.
(Really, if they want to show Castiel humiliated, they should have just showed the moment after "you can't stay " registered. They should show him realizing he had no right to be there after screwing up everything, that he had nothing to contribute anymore, that he had to be saved by the Winchesters and now he was freeloading on them. They should show him turning red and stammering and sweating and him not knowing what to do with the burrito he was eating that he had no right to be eating, they should show his rush to get out of the bunker as fast as possible even though he didn't know where to go. Compared to that? being misled into babysitting was small potatoes.
Like of all the characters on SPN that treated Castiel terribly, she was pretty low on the list. She exploited him for a few hours of free labor, sure, but unlike others, she didn't demand him to negate his own identity or to hurt himself or to die for her benefit. )
Sorry, I went off a bitter Cas girl tangent again. You didn't ask me to comment on what I think about Nora, you asked about Nora's character not making sense. The way I tried to incorporate her into my hc is to decide that she acted in this senseless way for a reason. Perhaps she was always kind of unhinged wild-child, a reckless free-spirit, but was forced to become the adoptive mother of baby (Nephilim) Tanya because her sister (Tanya's birth mother) of course died at child birth. Because of that she had to go on the run (because her sister warned her that angels and demons would be after the baby), leave her life behind, and get a job in some small Utah town that she hated. So she resented all this responsibility she didn't ask for, and resented the baby. In rebellion she pursued her own interests while dumping her baby with a stranger. But I would like to give her a redemption arc where she discovered that despite her bitterness, she grew to loved baby Tanya after all.
However, there are lots of other ways to explain her behavior too. Like she could be an undercover demon or an agent of BMOL who was spying on Castiel (this was the hc of heaven-ecologist). In this way, she could also be killed off in a fic.
And one more thing (back to the show). I totally think that after that episode, Nora kept asking Cas for babysitting and Cas kept agreeing. I don't know if Nora started paying him or not. I think Cas would have agreed even if she didn't pay (like I believe he would have agreed to babysit for free in the first place if Nora just flat out asked him honestly). I would think babysitting was a peaceful refuge during his homelessness, to have the security of a comfortable house (maybe Nora was at least decent enough to provide free food as well), alone with a baby who didn't judge him and who needed him, made him feel useful.
Heteroclite
~Sally Face OC Story~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WARNING: This chapter contains violence that some might find harmful and traumatizing! Read at your own risk!
It had been a little over a month since I came to Nockfell. Things had been relatively good for the most part: I went a decent amount of time getting good sleep, but during the change of seasons, the nightmares started up again. First dream I had was as a young lady wearing a cloak for some organization. I was gathering pieces for a ritual and became possessed by the red eyed demon. I tried desperately to cling to my humanity, but the spirit was too strong and I lost to the darkness. In other instances, I was a victim who was kidnapped and used as a sacrifice by the same hooded people.
As far as my mysterious powers, Todd informed me that I might be some sort of medium, having a special connection with spirits than most people do. When I asked him what I could do to prevent it, he meekly smiled at me and told me I could only embrace it and over time I would get used to it. As far as my nightmares, he suggested using crystals or even a dream catcher to aid in my nightly terrors. Larry and Sal joined me on my journey to buy some crystals, amethyst and selenite. Larry finding the whole thing stupid whereas Sal was kind of intrigued.
My relationship with mom became more loose as the days went by. We hardly ever saw each other. The days she was off, she was so exhausted and slept all day, wanting the house to be completely silent. I spent most of my time either in my room or at the park. The days I was home by myself, I spent hanging out at the Addison apartments with Larry and Sal. Every now and then I'd help babysit Ben with Ashley. Although I was happy to have friends, a sadness sat in my heart at not seeing my mom anymore. Back when dad died, mom became so depressed, she spent her time devoted to work and left me with my aunt majority of the time. I didn't want to complain though, I didn't deserve to have her undivided attention at any given moment. Yet some form of attention every now and then would make me happy.
With mom being at work constantly, left me being stuck with David every now and then. That meant I was stuck at home cooking for the piece of shit. He'd argue with me over pointless shit so I'd always reside to my room and only came out when absolutely necessary. I guess the guy was pissed off at mom being at work as much as I was. He wasn't fond of me and I remember him telling me he didn't like children upon our first meeting. He said mom having a kid was almost a deal breaker for him and he couldn't wait till the day I went to college. I'd also have to pick up after him while he was home, empty beer cans and plates of food left for me to clean. Told me that it was a woman's job to take care of the man, and he was doing me a solid by preparing me for my future husband. Thankfully the guy was only home for a couple of days during the month so I've only seen him twice since moving here, but I hated having him at the house. I wish he'd disappear.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stumbled forward, making hard contact with the metal lockers in front of me. Travis letting out a laugh as I scrambled back to my feet. "Kat, are you okay?" Sal asked, helping me up. I nodded my head, Larry taking a threatening step towards Travis. "Dude, leave her alone!" Travis took a step forward towards Larry sneeringly, "What are you going to do about it?" Larry bunched his hand up in a fist ready to beat Travis, "I'm gonna kick your ass!" I grabbed Larry's fist tugging the boy backwards away from the blonde. "No no no let's not do that." I muttered. I reached back grabbing Sal's hand, and pulled the boys the opposite direction of Travis. I guided the two down the hallway out of earshot.
"That guy is such a prick." I murmured. "If you think that, why don't you go off on him?" Larry muttered, still glaring down the hallway. "I'm close to reaching my breaking point," I sighed, rubbing my hands through my hair. I was beyond exhausted, and it was evident on my face. Travis hadn't given up in the past month, even with me ignoring him on several occasions. From one of jackets being stolen and found in a trash can later in the day, to sticking gum in my chair during math class, he was determined to make my life hell. He didn't like the fact I was smart and Mrs. Packerton had taken a liking to me. My encounter with him that first Friday added enough fuel to keep him going long after me not fighting back. "Besides what do you want me to do?" "Knock him the fuck out or let me do it!" Larry huffed. "No Larry! That's just gonna cause issues for Lisa!"
I motioned towards myself, "What kind of damage could I do to that guy? I mean look at me." Larry laughed, "What are you talking about? You've landed some pretty solid punches on me before." I rolled my eyes, "It's different when I'm fake fighting versus real fighting." "Shit if you hit that hard play fighting, I don't wanna know how hard you hit when you're pissed." Larry laughed, his shoulders relaxing. I let out a sigh, relieved that he finally calmed down. I felt a warm embrace from behind, Ash's voice ringing out happily. "Hi guys! I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready to go home." The group voiced in agreement and Ash came around, standing in front of me. Her face formed a frown and I knew exactly what was coming out of her mouth. "Kat! Where's the hairpin I gave you this morning?" She huffed. I adverted my gaze stepping back from her face as she leaned in examining my face. "I dunno. Guess it must've fallen out."
"Kat seriously? I wish you would keep up with them and keep your hair out of your face!" She reached for my face and I ducked, dodging her advances. I backed down the hallway, examining my nonexistent watch "Oh well look at the time! The buses will be here soon!" I hurriedly made my way down the hallway ignoring the very annoyed Ashley yelling at my back. I opened the door, sun warming up my face as I stepped outside. I stood next to the flag pole, leaning on it as I waited for the bus to show up. "Where's everyone else at?" Todd's monotone voice came beside me. "In the hallway talking to Ashley." I answered back. "She was bickering at you about your hair again, wasn't she?" I grinned at his question, face giving away the answer to his question. "Where were you at?" I asked. "With Neil." I nodded my head. I had met Neil a while back. It took me by surprise, Todd being gay, but I was happy he was comfortable enough with me to introduce us.
"Still haven't gotten much sleep huh?" Todd asked, staring at my face. I assume he noticed the bags under my eyes. After all I think I get about 3-4 hours of sleep a night. I felt like a walking zombie at this point. "Nope. Those crystals and dream catcher don't seem to do anything for me. They worked for a few nights, but dreams came back tenfold." I stretched my arms above my shoulders. My hood was grabbed and yanked over my head, startling me. Larry's laughter filling my ear drums. "You're such an ass!" I seethed, playfully shoving the guy. Larry wrapped his arm around my shoulder, grabbing his other arm, putting me in a head lock. "Only to you!" We laughed as I tried to wiggle my way out of his grip, a teacher clearing their throat and shooting a disapproving look our way. Causing us to stop and move away from each other. Sal came to the group a few minutes later, he had stayed back to talk to Ashley about something. Buses arriving shortly after and lining up in front of us and we piled on to ours, heading home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stared at the grass, watching the blades shift ever so slightly with ants and various bugs crawling undetected underneath. My mind was numb, body numb, my whole existence was numb. Muffled chattering was happening all around me, and I blankly stared off into space unaware of my surroundings. "Kat?" Ashley's voice rang out, bringing me back down to earth. I turned to look at her, "Hm?" "You okay?" I nodded my head, turning my attention back to the courtyard. The group decided to spend our lunch outside to enjoy the weather. "You don't look so great Kat." Neil mentioned, taking a seat on the bench next to me. "You mean she looks like shit." Larry mumbled, earning some disapproving glances from the rest of the group. Ash slapping Larry on the arm, "You can't just tell a girl she looks like shit!" I waved them off, their loudness beginning to hurt my head.
The group went back to chatting and I stared off into the abyss, becoming distant with reality again. Last night's dream was throwing me off completely. I couldn't remember much about it, the only things I could remember was being underground and a gate with a giant pentagram on the floor. The place was creepy as fuck and it felt like my soul was being sucked out of my body. After waking up, my body felt weak and heavy bags rested under my eyes from the unfulfilling sleep. I was pretty much out of it for the rest of the day.
Travis had come up to the group at some point and was doing what he did best, antagonizing people. I didn't pay much attention to the guy, I was too busy staring off into space, questioning my life's meaning. I was abruptly grabbed off the bench, feet standing loosely on the ground and my collar gripped tightly in between Travis's calloused fingers. Multiple gasps exiting from the group and me lazily staring at Travis's dumb face. He opened his mouth and spoke, but I was still spaced out and didn't catch a word he was saying. I wonder if he knows that his nostrils flare when he's pissed? He tightened his grip on my jacket, choking me more and violently shook me. "Listen here you spacey bitch." He growled. I blinked my eyes, suddenly very aware of his rage. I guess he was upset I didn't hear his first bit of monologue.
"Sorry can you repeat that? I wasn't listening." I muttered, earning an even tighter grip on my jacket. "I know you weren't listening. You're nothing but a freak! No wonder you fit in so well with Sally face and his group!" He spat. This is what angered me, how dare he call us freaks? We were simply living our lives and he tormented us for doing just that. Existing. "If anyone is a freak here it's you Travis! Tormenting people just for laughs." I spat back. His eyes widened in surprise, before his face contorted back into bitter expression. Guess I touched a nerve. "Listen here you fucking bitch!" He growled. "I'm listening asshole!" I spat again. I didn't give two shits about playing nice anymore. This guy needed to be put in his place and I guess I'd be the one to do it. This seemed to enrage him even more and he yet again, tightened his grip on my collar, and lifting me off the ground. I let out a choke, my legs dangling off the ground and my windpipe constricted, having trouble letting in air. "Dude let her go! You're choking her!" Larry yelled at the blonde, who just ignored him.
Sal came to my aid, trying to de-escalate the situation before things got more ugly. "Hey Travis, why don't you just let go? You're choking her. We don't need things getting worse. " Sal muttered, reaching to grab me. "Piss off freak!" Travis yelled, shoving the blue haired boy back, who stumbled and fell on the ground. This is what did it. Watching a boy, who showed me kindness on multiple occasions despite being outcasted by multiple people for his prosthetic, getting shoved to the ground for me to finally lose my cool.
My fist ached as it collided with Travis's face, he didn't expect me to punch him. Hell I didn't expect to punch him. It just sorta happened. He stumbled backwards, gripping his face, letting me go. I inhaled a much needed breath before running to Sal to make sure he was okay. The group of friends standing to the side, watching this all unfold in horror. "Sal are you okay?" I asked, reaching my hand out to help him up. He nodded his head before grasping my hand, me pulling him back up to stand. I turned to look back at the blonde on the floor, but was greeted with a punch on the left side of my face sending me stumbling backwards. A loud group of gasps rang through my ears and it took time to comprehend the fact that Travis just punched me, and he didn't hold back in the slightest. I could taste blood, my cheek aching after being brutally mauled by the wires on my teeth.
I scrambled back to my feet, ready to hit the blonde again, only to be grabbed from the back. It was Todd, wrapping his arms around me in a desperate attempt to end this chaos. I yelled out in fit of rage, "Lemme go! I'm gonna end this fucker!" Travis went to lunge at me again, only to be grabbed by Neil. "What did you say? You little bitch!" He hissed, wiggling trying to get free. "Your personality is dog shit! You hear me? DOG SHIT." I yelled back at him. Larry was trying hard to stifle his laughter from behind Travis, albeit failing horribly. "You make everyone's life hell every day and I'm tired of it! Always going around and belittling anyone you see fit! Even going as far to shove people who were just trying to stop the situation from escalating!" I growled, still desperately trying to get out of Todd's hold. With every fiber of my being, I wanted to unleash all of my anger out on Travis. "Now guys, let's calm down!" Neil spoke, trying to, once again, de-escalate the situation.
Travis made a disgusted face to Neil, wiggling out of his grasp and throwing a nasty remark to him, "Let go of me you fucking faggot!" This further enraged me. Making homophobic slurs to someone whose company I enjoyed. I felt Todd's grip relax out of shock of the comment, and yanked myself free. "Don't call him that!" I yelled, lunging towards Travis, fist clenched. He turned around in horror at the close proximity of my voice, and I punched him in the face yet again. The boy fell to the ground, blood pouring from his nose, slight groaning escaping his lips. The door on the left opened and a group of horrified teachers and an angry principal walked out into the courtyard, staring at the scene in front of them: A beaten down church boy and an angry purple haired girl standing over him, fist still in the air. "Kathrine Gordon! My office now!" The principal yelled.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I leaned my head back on cold concrete wall waiting for my mother to finally show up to the school. I had explained my side of the story, and was kicked outside to sit in the hallway while Travis gave his side. I closed my eyes, relishing how good it felt to close my eyes. A cold sensation on my cheek jerked me out of my trance, it was Ashley holding a cold water bottle to my cheek. I smiled and grabbed the bottle from her hands and pressing it to my aching cheek. Behind her was the rest of the group: Todd, Neil, Larry and Sal. Guess they came to check on me. "How's the face?" Ashley frowned. I shrugged, "Hurts like hell and the inside of my cheek is shredded so my mouth is on fire." Ashley grimaced at my cheek and I laughed, "For future reference, don't get punched in the face with braces." "That was such a cheap shot. Dude hit you when you weren't expecting it." Larry huffed. I snorted, "Well to be fair I don't think he was expecting me to hit him first. I deserved it to be honest."
"You didn't deserve any of it Kat! He's been bullying you nonstop for the last month! I'm surprise it took you this long to stand up to him!" Ashley lectured. I cracked the lid to the water bottle before taking a sip, grimacing at the taste of metal going down my throat. "I'm not one for confrontation though. If I'm being honest, I probably would've brushed it off if he hadn't shoved Sal like that." A laugh escaped my mouth as I grinned at the group. Ashley pulled her bandanna out of her pocket and pressed it to my lip, a hiss escaped my mouth at the pain. "He busted your lip pretty damn good." Ash murmured, staring at the open wound on my lip. "I'm fine Ash. I promise." I muttered to the best of my abilities. She shook her head, still dabbing the fabric to my bleeding lip.
"Hey Kat?" Neil spoke, catching my attention. "Hm?" "I appreciate you sticking up for us like that, but next time don't put yourself in that kind of spot. I'd hate to see him target you even more over taking our side." Neil said, crouching down to my level and earning a nod of approval from Sal. I chuckled, catching the group off guard, "Heh. I don't think I can do that." I relaxed against the wall and spoke again, "I'm not one for confrontation when it comes to myself, but I'm willing to get into fights to defend my friends!" Neil's face contorted into a sympathetic smile and he pat my head lightly, "Kat that's sweet of you, but I can't let a pretty girl like yourself getting hurt trying to defend us." "Yeah Kat! I feel awful that this happened because you were defending me." Sal spoke, fiddling with his hands. "Don't be. I shouldn't have bottled in all my anger in the first place." I shrugged. "I'm bad at expressing my feelings and I'll just bottle them up until I explode." Ashley removed the cloth from my lip and I took another sip from my water bottle, the metallic not as strong this time.
"You know you can talk to us about anything, right Kat?" Ashley smiled. I nodded, "Yeah. I'm just scared I'll end up talking your heads off." Ashley blinked, confused, before responding, "What do you mean? Normally we have a hard enough time getting a word out of you." I laughed, "Y'know most people who first meet me always complain that I'm too quiet, but then when I start opening up to them, they complain about not being able to get me shut up." Ashley smiled, "Well you won't be hearing those words come from me. Trust me Kat, you're always more than welcome to vent to me about anything." I nodded my head, "I'll be sure to remember that."
The front door of the school opened and my mom's figure came through the door. I inhaled, a pit of nervousness erupting in my stomach. I had never been in trouble before, and I'm sure a million thoughts were racking through her brain after the principal called her and told her, "Your daughter, Katherine is in the principals office. I need you to come to the school as soon as possible." Her eyes found my sitting figure on the floor and I hurriedly stood up along with Ashley and Neil. She rushed down the hallway and stopped in front of my form, bangs resting over my bruised face so she couldn't see. "Geez Kitty! You look like shit!" She spoke in a hush whisper, earning a loud chuckle from Larry. "Have you not been sleeping again?" I shook my head, there was no point in lying when the evidence was sitting under my eyes. "Are you staying up playing video games?" "No mom." "Then are you doing drugs?" I rolled my eyes, "Mom no offense, but I couldn't even afford any of the good stuff with the money I get from you and grandma." She laughed and her hands cupped my cheeks, brushing my bangs out of my face.
Her eyes widened and a low gasp escaped from her mouth, "Kitty, what the hell happened?" I grabbed her hands, pulling them away from my face. "Me and this guy got into a fight." "Was it that Travis boy?" She yanked her hands out my grasp before inspecting my face. I nodded my head as her hands trailed across my bruised cheek, hissing as she touched a sensitive spot. "Ow mom that hurts!" I slapped her hand away and her eyes found their way to my bloodied knuckles, grabbing my hands and examining them closer. "Did you at least land a good punch?" She asked, thumbs brushing over the opened wounds. "Oh yeah she laid him the fuck out." Larry's voice rang from behind us, mom looking up in his direction.  The group voiced their annoyance at Larry's choice of words when present in front of an adult, but my mother wasn't like other adults. She smiled at the group before turning her attention back to me, "Good. I was hoping you'd teach that boy a lesson."
The group was surprised to say the least, my mother was very relaxed about a lot of things, swearing and beating the shit out of bullies being a select few. "And who are these people Kitty? Friends?" I nodded my head and pointed at the group of people introducing mom to them. "I'm glad my Kitty has made so many friends since moving here!" She grinned. "Mom can we please stop with the nickname while you're here." I groaned, pushing my hair out of my face. "But everyone close to you calls you Kitty." I rolled my eyes, "Nobody outside of the family mom." "I think Kitty is a cute nickname." Ashley smiled. "It was her dad's favorite name to call her." Mom smiled back. "Mom please." I begged. I didn't want her to start telling them all about me. "What?" Mom asked, faking innocence. "Look I'm just excited I finally get to meet your friends! Although this isn't the way I wanted to meet them." I scoffed, "Mom if you met them on your terms, we would all be adults by time you finally got the time to." She turned to me, a grim look on her face, "Oh haha. Very funny."
"So what are the chances you're suspended?" Mom asked. "Oh I'm suspended without a doubt. The principal walked outside after I landed the second punch." I stated, taking another sip from my water before continuing, "Honestly I'd be surprised if I wasn't suspended." Mom sighed, "Well at least this isn't as bad as when you used to sneak out to go get high with your old friends." I choked on my saliva, "Geez mom! Why do you have to bring that up?" "Wait she'd sneak out?" Larry provoked, earning a glare from me. "It was awful! I'd go to leave for work in the morning and check on her and the bed would be empty. She'd be down the road at her friend's house, smoking and getting piercings. I swear she was trying to give me a heart attack." Mom spout, remembering my early teenage years. "Mom!" I yelled, desperately trying to get her to shut up. "Wait, piercings?" Neil pondered, raising an eyebrow. "Oh yeah. All those piercings she has done? They were done by her friend's older brother who was an apprentice at a tattoo shop. She left one day with no piercings and came home with two. Then four. Then came home with a bar through her ear."
I rolled my eyes, "Its not that big of a deal mom! Besides they were free, so it's not like you had to pay for them." Mom sighed, "Look here miss suspended, it doesn't matter if they were free or not. It's the fact you came home with piercings you didn't ask for." "Ay yi captain. There will be no more piercings from me." I murmured. Mom eyed me once again, hands cupping my face again, "Why haven't you been sleeping at night? Are you having those nightmares again?" I shook my head, "It's not a big deal mom." "Nightmares?" Ashley asked. Mom went to answer and I slapped my hand over her mouth before answering Ashley, "I have nightmares sometimes. Not a big deal."  I gave mom a 'don't go into further details' look and she nodded. I removed my hand from over her mouth, "Can we get food after this?" Mom stared at me dumbfounded, "You're about to be suspended and you want me to buy you lunch?" I nodded, grinning at her "Precisely."
"Fine. You staying at home or coming with me?" I blinked, "What go with you to the hospital?" "Yeah." I shook my head stretching my arms above my head and letting out a yawn. "Nah I think I'm gonna go home and get some sleep. I'm tired." "I know it's a new place, but I know how much you use to enjoy playing with all the kids!" The group seemed confused at her statement, several of them raising their eyebrow at me inquisitively. "Oh I used to take Kitty with me to the hospital! She used to play with the kids on the playground equipment and read stories to them. Everyone always said she was like their very own older sister." Mom smiled. "Y'know I think this place has a P.A system." I stated. Mom looked at me questionably and I answered, "Y'know you could talk through it and tell them my whole life story." Giggles erupted from the group, only to be cut short by the sound of the principals door opening.
Travis exited the door and walked down the hallway past us, muttering some incoherent words while glaring at me. "Kids. Lunch break is over. Head to your classes now." The principal stated, staring at the group. The group quickly dispersed, muttering quick farewells to me and my mother. "If you two will come in and have a seat." He gestured to the door, and we made our way inside, taking our seats. The door shut with a loud slam and the principal sat at his desk across from us.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The group of four sat on the steps to Kat's house, Ashley opened the screen door and knocked on the beige door. A couple of footsteps rustled their way behind the door before it opened revealing Cynthia. Her surprised face was quickly lifted into a smile as she welcome the group into her house. The group piling in and taking their respective seats between the two couches. "Sorry guys! After we came home Kitty pretty much passed out." Cynthia smiled. "Do you guys want anything to drink?" The group answered, Cynthia pulling various cans from the refrigerator and setting them down on the coffee table. "What are you doing home? I thought your shift started at 3?" Larry questioned, taking a sip of his drink. Cynthia sighed, "Well Kitty was pretty upset after we spoke to the principal, so I decided to stay home to look after her."
"How long is she suspended?" Ashley asked. "Well originally it was going to be 3 weeks, but due to Kitty's grades and clean record, he shortened it. She'll be out of school the remainder of this week and all next week. Thankfully he let her bring her school work home to work on, and she'll get to retake any missed tests."  Cynthia spoke softly. "Feel free to play the game or put on a movie or something. I was about to cook dinner, but since you guys came, how bout I order a pizza?" The group voiced their affirmation for pizza and Cynthia made her way to the landline to order it.
Kat's sleepy figure made it's way into the living-room, wearing an oversized t-shirt and some pajama shorts. "Mom, who are you talking to?" She rubbed her eyes, pushing her extra frizzy hair out from in front of her face. "Well good morning sleeping beauty." Larry grinned. Kat jumped slightly at the unexpected voice, before turning her attention to the group in the living-room. "What are you guys doing here?" She yawned, taking a seat on the couch next to Ashley. "We came to check on you." She answered. "Oh. I'm doing alright. Gonna be bored being at home for the next 2 weeks, but I'll manage." Kat shrugged, hair falling back in front of her face. She sighed and pulled her hair into a ponytail using a spare hair tie on her wrist. "That's one gnarly ass bruise Kat." Larry chuckled, staring at her now bruised cheek. "Shut up, dickweed." She rebutted.
"So who would've thought you were actually a delinquent." Larry snickered, earning a glare from Kat.  "I'm not a delinquent!" She spat back at him. "Sneaking out? Going to smoke weed and come home with piercings. Sounds very rebellious to me." Larry laughed. Kat grabbed a decorative pillow and chunked it at Larry, hitting him in the face, "Shut it Larry." "Look I made friends with this girl in the neighborhood and turns out she liked smoking. I used to hang out with her while she smoked and come to find out her brother was an apprentice at the tattoo shop and offered me free food if I'd let him practice on me." Kat stated, earning a giggle from the group. "So you let a guy stab holes in your ear in exchange for food?" Sal asked, receiving a nod from Kat. "Which one hurt the most?" Ashley eagerly asked. Kat pointed at the industrial on her left ear, "This one was so painful."
"I don't think I've ever seen one of those." Ashley voiced, admiring the bar. "Apparently he saw someone in a fashion magazine with one and thought it'd suit me." "I think it suits you." Sal smiled, Kat returning his smile. "Thanks." Cynthia went into her room to retrieve her purse and shoes and entered the living room. "Kitty, I'm gonna go pick up the pizza. I'll be back in a little bit." Kat nodded her head, "Okay mom. Be careful. Love ya." "I love you" Cynthia smiled before exiting the house. "Your mom's nice." Todd spoke. "She is. I just hate that she's not around all the time." Kat sighed, getting up from the couch to retrieve a drink from the fridge. She cracked open the top, taking a sip before making her way back to the couch, grabbing a book off the side table. She set the drink on the coffee table, before flipping the book open from where she left off.
"Has she always been a workaholic?" Ashley asked. Kat shook her head, not looking up from the book, "She was before she met dad, but after they got married she settled down a bit. After dad died she threw herself into work to pay the hospital bills and hasn't stopped since." "Hospital bills?" Todd repeated. Kat's fingers flexed around the book, realizing she said too much. She sighed, closing the book and placing it on the table next to the drink. "I was in a pretty bad car accident when I was 6." Her fingertips began trailing up and down the scar on her leg. "Me and dad went out on one of our weekly outings, and some jackass ran the light and hit the passenger side. The door caved in and cut the hell out of my leg." Kat's voice trembled,  remembering the scene in her head. "Dad never liked wearing a seat belt." The sound of tires squealing and glass shattering echoing through Kat's ears as she spoke. "I woke up shortly after we crashed. The car was flipped and I woke up to my leg pouring blood and head hurting. Last memory I have of my dad is him lying lifeless in the middle of the road." The group all wore sympathetic expressions, feeling sorry for Kat and her experiences. Kat abruptly stood up, exiting the room and coming back moments later with a book. "Enough with the sad stuff. This is something my mom gave me for my 15th birthday." Kat flipped open the book, exposing a black and white picture of a young man with black hair. 'Jerry Gordon 1965' written in beautiful cursive writing.
The group huddled around the book, taking in the pictures as Kat flipped through the pages. The man aging ever so slightly, face gaining wrinkles as the pages flipped. "Mom was a traveling nurse and met dad at a hospital after he cut his hand open working on a motor. He asked her on a date and the rest is history." The next page was Jerry and Cynthia dressed in wedding attire, the date written underneath. Kat's fingers danced over the picture, caressing it as she reminisced. She closed the book, the group looking at her confused. "What? That's only halfway through the book."  Larry grumbled. He expertly snatched the book from Kat's grasp. Kat desperately tried to grab the book out of his grasp, he responded by holding the book above his head. "Larry knock it off." Sal grumbled. Kat grabbed the brunette's hair and yanked it, Larry yelping in pain. "Ow!" Kat snatched the book back out of Larry's grasp and took off out of the room, hiding the book back in it's safe spot in her room. She returned a moment later, face flushed in embarrassment and anger.
"Geez Kat I was just joking!" Larry mumbled, rubbing his hands through his hair. "That's what you get for teasing her." Ashley laughed. Kat sat down on the sofa, hands twirling in her purple locks. "You're an ass." Kat whispered. Larry flashed her a toothy grin, mumbling an apology, crouching down in front of her. She flicked his forehead, Larry cussing under his breath in pain. "You two seem to get along pretty well." Ashley smiled at the two of them. "Yeah I guess I got use to seeing this dummy every day." Kat grinned. "She's always over at the apartments now so I guess we've gotten comfortable bickering with one another." Larry smiled. Ashley was well aware of Kat's situation of spending the night at Larry's sometimes, and figure the two shared a close relationship.
Kat stood up, "Welp mom's back." Moments later a car horn was heard from outside. There was no indication of her mother arriving beforehand, no light shining in the window or hearing the gravel crunching under car tires. The group thought this was weird, but didn't voice their concern. Kat exited the house and returned with Cynthia moments later, pizza in their arms. The group voiced their excitement and dug into the boxes. The group happily chatting while enjoying the food.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I sat on my bed, working on the various assignments for class. It had been 2 days since my suspension and the weekend arrived sooner than expected. I finished my bowl of food and exited my room to go wash the dish in the sink. The lock on the door clicked and I looked up at the sound, David appearing through the door seconds later. A frown appeared upon my face at his statue and I ignored him, continuing to scrub the dishes in the sink. My bruise had healed a little bit by this point, the dark purple now a light pink adorned with various shades of yellow. He sat his keys down in the key holder that rested on the counter, eyes staring at my small form. "Your mom called me." His deep voice rang out, the sound of the water shutting off moments later. I dried my hands on the hand towel before answering him, "And?" I wanted nothing more than to go to bed. The nightmares had ceased since the last one I had before my fight with Travis, but that didn't mean I was up to listen to David's bullshit.
"She told me you got in a fight." David's voice spoke, the room remaining silent for several minutes. "Yeah. What about it?" I met his gaze, trying to hold my ground, yet I could feel the anxiety building in the pit of my stomach. He maneuvered around the counter, towering over my figure. I didn't break my gaze, holding my ground. "Told me it was the Phelps boy from the church." He sneered. "Yeah so?" I spoke back. "The hell you going around getting in fights with a church boy?" He raised his voice. I gritted my teeth, adverting my gaze before scoffing. "What the hell does him being a church boy have to do with anything?" A sting rose across my cheek and a slap echoed across the room. I stumbled back into the sink, trying to grasp what had just happened. Did he just hit me?
My hand rested across my burning cheek and I stared wide at David, face contorted in anger and eyes staring daggers into my being. "You went and fought with a church boy!" Another blow to my other cheek caused me fall across the floor, gripping my cheek as tears began to flow down my face. "You're nothing more than a woman! And you think you have any right to go and fight with a man!" I opened my mouth to project and was interrupted by his boot colliding with my stomach. I desperately gasped for air as all oxygen fled from my lungs and I gripped my stomach in pain. My choked wheezes were the only thing to be heard echoing across the quiet house. "You think I don't know about the trouble you caused your mother years ago? Don't think I'm gonna sit around and not do anything while you go around acting like a delinquent." He unfastened his belt, yanking it through the loops on his pants and held it high in the air.
I took a deep breath, sobs escaping my mouth as I desperately pleaded for the man to stop. "No David don't!" His belt landing multiple blows across my skin, my pajamas doing little to protect me. My screams echoing across the house in pain as each blow made contact with my person. "I've had enough of you! You are nothing more than a woman! Do you hear me?" His voice rang through my ears in between the sound of leather hitting against flesh. I tried to crawl to my room, safety, only to be kicked in the side, thrown into the kitchen cabinets. I groaned, arms shielding my face as he proceeded to hit me on my untouched side. "You as a woman need to learn your place in this world! You'll always be second best!" I sobbed, "Stop David! Please! I'm sorry!" My cries falling on deaf ears and he continued his assault. My body ached all over and my head began ringing, body going numb as he continued to release his pent up rage on me. The cracks and my choked sobs echoing across the house, him grunting every so often and he reared back to hit me again.
I don't know if he got bored or if he was content with my disheveled figure on the floor, body curled up and blood protruding from the welts on my skin. He crouched down, grabbing my tear stained face in between his calloused fingers. "You are nothing. You hear? I know as soon as you leave for college your mom will have a weight lifted off her shoulders. Don't cause anymore problems for here on out, you understand?" I stared at him, lip trembling as I tried to hold myself together. His grip tightened around my chin and I winced. "Do you understand?" He yelled, causing me to jump. I nodded to the best of my abilities, tears pouring down my face once again. He let go and I fell back to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. "Get out of my sight." He muttered, boots echoing across the floor as he made his way to his room. I stood up, taking a deep breath to console myself. I exited the front door, running down the side walk to one of the places I found the most comfort in: the park.
I sat in one of the swings, the cold air nipping at my red skin. Choked sobs escaping from my mouth as I buried my head in my hands. Who could I tell about this? Mom? No, I couldn't guarantee she'd believe me over him and I could ruin her chance at a happily ever after. I didn't like David, but he never did anything to raise suspicion to my mom. In her eyes, he was perfect. At the same time I was a trouble maker who had just gotten suspended from school for fighting with a boy. It was clear who'd she choose. It wasn't me. A loud sob escaped my mouth and I coughed, not being able to breathe. I was a delinquent. A problem child. I was a mistake, and I deserved every bad thing that has happened to me. I was nothing.

THE BIO ;
34 years old
originally born and raised in huntsville
rowan had a normal childhood growing up. she has no issues with it. her parents were present and she was well looked after.
as time went on, rowan became like any other teenager, she wanted freedom and she wanted love. she grabbed both by the horns and fell in love with a boy.
ruled by her heart and being a typical teenager thinking she knew better than the world, rowan slept with her boyfriend.
a week passed and she started to feel ill. brushing it off as a cold, she continued on with her normal routine of school, friends, boyfriend...
another week passed and she was still feeling ill, by week three rowan was throwing up and experiencing signs that pointed to another reason instead of a flu. a very kind old woman of a pharmacist saw the panic and tears on her eyes when she approached the counter and helped her find a test.
rowan bawled when she saw the tiny (+) sign on the test, her parents were going to kill her.
and if they could have they probably would have, they stopped talking to her and as soon as she was sixteen she was asked to leave the family home
rowan falling pregnant at 13 was A SCANDAL for the ages in huntsville
she got a lot of shit and lost majority of people in her life.
people hurled verbal abuse at her calling her every nasty name under the sun
ever defiant, rowan held her had high and carried on. nine months later her darling little leia was born.
a few months later and byeyeboyfriend, he split and left her to raise leia alone
she was made a cautionary tale by parents in the town who didn't want their kids to meet the same fate, a "look what happened to rowan lake" tale
she had it hella tough and people weren't kind to her because of the scandal.
despite the haters, rowan proved herself to be a diligent and capable mother, she studied at home while looking after leia and went above and beyond for her daughter
at sixteen, rowan got her own place juggling studies, jobs and a toddler. thankfully her ex-boyfriends parents were able to babysit while rowan worked her ass off to give leia the best life she could.
at eighteen she got a job in broadcasting and worked her way up, a few years later and she was broadcasting on tv
it was all going swimmingly, she was killing it at work, she was successfully being a mum, she was proving everyone wrong and she was being a role model for leia.
then IT happened. live on tv. out of town reporting on storm season, rowan was struck by lightning live on air.
it became a meme, it haunts her to this day
years down the line she can laugh about it sort of. she almost died and has an insane scar that runs from the left hand side of her neck right down across her back and ribs, but whatever as long as you found it funny.
since the paradox, tv is out of the equation, rowan turned to radio broadcasting. she hosts a successful show that keeps people entertained throughout the day
someone who never really found their footing of who they were as a person until later in life.
a woman who has no filter and no shame on topics.
a tv broadcaster with a plan who settled for radio, she’s not happy about it, she has emmy’s goddamn it.
her ignorance at the looming threat can be seen as stupidity, but it’s more fear of acknowledging it. she's terrified at leia being in danger 24/7
OTHER NOTES;

Venting, just having the words in front of me helps me process my own thoughts better.
Dylan and I might have just lost all our progress on house hunting again because of his dad.
His dad is the reason he's stuck in Texas in the first place. Offered a job at his dad's work, but then his dad took an entire YEAR to finally agree to it, all while telling Dylan that his family wouldn't help him get to work if he got a different job (and he made sure to tell his siblings and mom that they weren't allowed to take him either) even tho they're a 30 minute drive away from the nearest business and they're in the middle of nowhere. He also said that he and his mom weren't going to babysit, so he had to find a babysitter somehow with no money and no one to contact in the first place bc he doesn't fucking know anyone down there. And once Dylan got his car working again, HIS DAD STOLE HIS KEYS, ID, AND DEBIT CARD FOR 2 MONTHS. He found it in his DRAWER. Only reason he's working now is because his mom is charging him $800 A MONTH to watch her own grandchildren. AND SHE DOESN'T EVEN DO IT! Dylan's siblings do! His mom locks herself in her room and doesn't come out all day! SHE SAID OUT LOUD "What if I don't like my grandchildren?" "I'm not doing anything for the kids' birthdays or Christmas because it wouldn't be fair since my kids never got to do that" "your kids better leave me alone"
Dylan's dad is one of those super "alpha males" who has to control every aspect of everyone's life, and he makes sure NOT to let his kids (specifically, his sons) succeed at anything because it makes him feel inferior. I'm not kidding. He has done this every time Dylan has made progress.
Lemme tell you about just how abusive this man is.
He trapped Dylan's mom. He forced her into pregnancy back-to-back, told her she wasn't allowed to take birth control, told her no one else would ever want her because of her mom body, wouldn't let her drive until a couple of years ago and only allows her to do it with his permission and another person going with her to track her, doesn't allow her to have any friends at all, doesn't allow her to work or have her own money, etc. There's a lot worse things he does to her that I won't go into detail.
They had 9 kids. Nine. Most of them only a year apart. They didn't send any of them to school. They didn't homeschool them. They were specifically just farmhands. Literal slaves. He would stand and watch his kids do all the farming and then go kick them any time they stopped. They never had new clothes. They never had birthdays. Never had any holidays, actually. They had fake homeschooling stuff just in case cps stopped by. They weren't allowed to go to school or have friends because "he didn't want them going and saying bad stuff about him" (because he knew he'd go to fucking prison over it).
He makes sure he has control over everything. If dylans mom makes him mad, he says she better stop arguing before he hurts the kids. He will hurt and ground ALL the children if ONE person makes him mad. He uses that against them. So no one dares to mess up because everyone will get punished. Dylan is the only person who stands up to him because he's no longer afraid of him, but his family tries to tell him not to stand up to him at all out of fear.
And then with Dylan specifically.... he's the oldest son. For some reason, his dad thinks he's in constant competition with him. To the point that any time dylans mom showed him attention, his dad would tell her "well why don't you talk to DYLAN about it since he's so much better than me." Dylan wasn't allowed to succeed at anything at all, and if he tried, his dad would physically destroy his progress in order to keep him under his control.
Any time he stood up to his dad, he would beat the shit out of him (starting as a toddler), spit in his face, and call him a stupid faggot.
Dylan and his dad stay in motels during the week since their house is a 2-3 hour drive from work and they go in begween 3am-5am. Three nights ago, Dylan accidentally fell asleep in his dad's hotel bed instead of his own. He didn't know which bed was his. His dad yanked him out of bed from a dead sleep and Dylan pushed him off of him. His dad then punched him in the face and said that he assaulted him. Dylan went outside and his dad called the police. He had to drive 3 hours out of town with no cell service, trying to find his family's house in the middle of nowhere by memory only. He had to call in for two days in a row. He's not sure if his dad is going to try/be able to sabotage his job.
Dylan looked at a house a few days ago, but he may be homeless soon because his dad isn't going to allow him to go back to his family's house and that means his kids get kicked out too and he has no babysitter again.
WHY. WHY. Every time we make any progress, something outside of our control ruins it. All year I've been trying to move. All year everything has been working against me. I'm getting sicker and sicker staying at my mom's house.
I just want to give up, but I can't. It's hard to want to try when it only ends in failure and heartbreak.

@madangel19 I had to! <3
Desperate times call for desperare measures. At least, that's what Delia repeated in her head while drawing with chalk on that stupid, ugly and frankly horrible carpet that her stupid, ugly and horrible ex-boyfriend left her. At least it came in handy now and afterwards she'd have a good reason to throw it away.
So, desperate times call for desperate measures. The desperate time was that she was supposed to be in work in around half an hour and her usual babysitter was on a well-deserved vacation. The desperate measures was trying to summon a demon to watch the baby. If it didn't work, the baby will have to watch itself, but that was just something that she couldn't bring herself to do if there were still options.
A quick look at her watch told her she'd needed to hurry if she wanted to be on time, so after looking over the summoning circle, she recited the chant, praying and praying that it would work.
And sure enough, with a poof and some deep purply glittering smoke, a demon stood in the middle of the circle.
A relieved "Oh" was all she could get out.
The demon turned towards her. "I am the esteemed Swisstopher of Hell. So, why have you summoned me, frail mortal?"
And oh again, because he was so pretty and hot and- For fucks sake, get it together, Delia!
Another look at her watch and she cursed. "Okay, dear Swiss...-something, I'm very glad you're here, cause I need to be at the office in like, twenty minutes, and my baby boy here doesn't have anyone to look after him so I figured-"
"Whoa whoa whoa, like, usually we get summoned for dirty deeds, killing or sex-" oh my god sex? Delia was SO gonna have unsavory thoughts at work. "- and not babysitting!"
He'd followed Delia to the door where she threw on her jacket. "You'll be fine, he's a nice little man", she smiled at the demon, patted him on the back and then she was out the door.
Completely dumbfounded, Swiss stared after her, then shook his head. "Babysitting, seriously", he mumbled to himself.
Little taps of bare feet made him perk up, and sure enough, a small child was slowly but surely making his way towards him. Frozen, he just stared at the little kid until it clung to his leg and looked up at him with his cute big eyes.
"Don't ask me to do anything stupid because I literally won't be able to say no to you", he sighed quietly, then picked him up and held him out in front of hid face. " So, you're the Baby Boy, hm? Pleased to meet you"
The kid squealed happily in response, and Swiss couldn't help but grin.
"Alright, Baby Boy, so what do you do all day?"
Swiss had to admit, the change of jobs wasn't too bad and Baby Boy was a true delight. They'd spent quite some time on playing around with big Legos, where Swiss had to fish way too many bricks out of Baby Boys mouth. After the third one, he'd just started to collect them on a towel and decided to wash them later.
The first challenge arose around noon, when the kid started to get hungry. He had no clue what the kid would even eat, and he also couldn't really ask Baby Boy himself. All he got in response was "Dada, Hungwy!!!"
Swiss picked up the kid and went over into the kitchen. From what he knew and could put together, human babies weren't born with teeth (how impractical, but at least they didn't bite right after being born) so he'd had to make something like porridge. And lunch meant a warm meal, right?
Swiss was feeling fairly confident that he'd figured out the humans. Looking around the kitchen, all with Baby Boy crying against his shoulder.
"Shhhh, it's okay, Baby Boy, I know that it sucks to be hungry", he tried to soothe. Then he spotted his salvation: A blender. "Alright, honey, tell me what you like"
He'd ended up throwing some bread, pumpkin, bananas and a bit of cinnamon to round it off into the machine and then heated the entire creation up a bit.
"Alright, Baby Boy, let's dig in!", he grinned, putting the warm bowl between them and gave them both a spoon. Baby Boy stared at him with his big, helpless eyes and realization dawned upon Swiss that he'd had to feed him.
He sighed. "Alright come here, we'll do it together"
He scooted over and guided Baby Boys hand with the spoon into the food, and then to his mouth. Immediately, a delighted squeak came from the Baby, and Swiss grinned proudly. Mission accomplished.
The rest of the day went well too. He'd taken Baby Boy out for a little stroll around the neighborhood, maybe also because Swiss was a little curious where he'd landed.
Swiss was trying to teach Baby Boy how to actually build with the lego instead of just licking the blocks when the door opened and Delia arrived back home. Immediately, Baby Boy squeaked happily and stumbled over to his mom, Swiss following him.
"Helloo, my little love!", she greeted her kid and picked him up. Then she looked up to Swiss. "I couldn't be more grateful, thank you so so so much!"
Swiss grinned. "My pleasure, really. He's a sweet little fellow"
Delia looked at her kid proudly and kissed his forehead. "Sure is! Uhm, I kind of hate to ask, but are you maybe free for two more weeks...? I'll pay you, if you want"
"Money isn't worth anything for me, save it up for yourself. Honestly, the way he looks at me, I'll do it for free if I can crash on the couch"
"Nonsense, you can have the bed"
"And you, as the hardworking mother get the couch? No way! But, heh, on the note of paying me back", he winked, "maybe we should just share the bed"
Delia couldn't have gotten any luckier.
You’re a demon. One day, you’re summoned into a living room, and an exhausted woman quickly rambles about needing to get to work and being unable to find a sitter before flying out the door. Now, you stand in your summoning circle, a toddler staring wide eyed at you.

My cousin is supposed to be staying with us this weekend
She was supposed to be here earlier (she wouldve gotten here yesterday night if she hadn't stopped to get a hotel)
Shes being super dodgy about where she is and how long she's gonna be
She only gave us like 3 days notice that she was gonna be coming up here
Shes been texting my mom this whole time but now my parents have gone to bed cuz my dad is Routine Oriented™️ and Must be in bed by 9pm (preferably by 8 but he stretched it to almost 9 today just in case she showed up)
I am no longer in People Mode
So im just sitting here hoping she hasnt been like murdered or some shit but also hoping that if she's ok she goes to grandmas house to sleep on her couch instead cuz I dont wanna deal with getting her settled in this late
This is ME Time
I want to CHILL
I havent been able to chill all day
I couldnt fall asleep last night cuz of Anticipation but also my allergies were really bad so I couldn't breathe out of my nose so i didn't fall asleep til after 5am
I woke up at like 10am and had to clean the bathtub because we're having company (supposedly) and thats one of my TWO cleaning jobs (not counting keeping my room clean) and I was really proud of myself cuz I managed to get out of bed as soon as I woke up and got the tub cleaned
Then my dads cousin was over and chewby hates him so I was having to babysit a grumbly pitbull and try to keep her calm since my dad doesn't WARN me when Brad is gonna be here so I can't actually work with her on being chill around him
Then when me and my mom got back from the store dipshit was over here hanging out with my dad even tho my dad helped his wife leave him????? Like bro why do you think we want you here???
Then I took althea to get food for the week and lawrence is fucking stupid when it comes to planning roadwork. 6th street is a fucking mess. Getting to just food was fine cuz 7th street is alright until Kentucky street. But on the way back I took 9th street like I did last week to get back to Michigan street but Michigan street was CLOSED between 9th and 7th so then I had to turn around and go back to Maine street to get back to 7th street to get back to Michigan street. And there was so much fucking traffic cuz its the middle of the semester and yeah its spring break but its also the Friday at the end of spring break so people are starting to come back so there's like twice as many people as there would be if it was summer break.
Then I got home and dipshit was still here AND STAYED HERE FOR HOURS til my dad and Mike bribed the neighbors kid with weed (shes 18 and we're friends with her mom) to take him and his dog to a hotel cuz his (hopefully soon to be ex) wife is selling the house and kicked his ass out so he's effectively homeless now (he fucked around and found out. He's got a bus to somewhere next Wednesday. Hopefully not to where his wife is. Bobbi says she is living her best life now that she's back home with her parents and all her friends)
Like I have had a fucking day dealing with people and I do not have the patience to deal with getting my cousin settled at almost midnight. I am fried. I want to sit in my dark room with a bowl of yogurt with chocolate granola and raspberries and snuggle with my cat and watch horror game playthroughs on youtube until im ready to go to bed

Babysitting Duty
Summary: while Scott and Clint are away on a mission, you and Wanda are stuck with babysitting duty
Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x Reader
Warnings: some harsh language
Word Count: 5,117
Tumblr media
"Your asses had better not leave the yard, got it?"
"Please don't swear at the kids."
"They're being little shits!" You insisted.
Wanda glared at you from where she was sat on the couch, cradling two-year-old Nathaniel, who had fallen asleep in her arms a few minutes ago. You scowled back at her as you moved to the other seat, closer to the open window, so that you could see and hear Lila and Cassie running around in the backyard. Lila ducked into the shed for a moment, re-emerging with a soccer ball. She kicked it toward Cassie.
Clint and Scott had taken up an offer to go on a mission with Natasha across the country. You didn't pry as to why she needed them specifically. Laura was in Los Angeles visiting some family, meanwhile Maggie and Jim were taking a vacation in the tropics. That had left Scott and Clint in need of a babysitter, and you'd been volunteered for the job. Now, you and Wanda were stuck at Clint's farmhouse for a few days until Laura got back. You were only in charge of Cassie, Lila, and Nathaniel, with Cooper having gone to stay with a friend while his parents were out of town.
"Why don't you go put him down?" You suggested to Wanda, the scowl on your face replaced by a soft smile.
Wanda shook her head. She didn't even bother to stand, instead simply laying him down on the couch they were sitting on. He whined a little as he left her arms, but after she'd stroked his head a couple times, he settled as soundly as he had been. She stood and crossed the room, sitting down next to you. Your arm moved around her waist and she leaned against you, legs curling up to her chest. You kissed the side of her head as you glanced out the window quickly to check up on the girls.
"What do you think about what Tony said?" She asked quietly.
You turned to stare at her. Her light green eyes flickered up to meet your gaze. It put a smile on her face. Her hand reached for yours, taking it and intertwining your fingers. You played with her hand.
"One day."
After getting the babysitting gig, you hadn't exactly been ecstatic. You were an Avenger, not a babysitter. Anytime Clint and Scott weren't around to hear, you'd repeat those words to whoever was close enough to listen. Most of them got that. They thought the same. It's why everyone had tried so hard to avoid the two men for those few days. When you'd gotten stuck with it, Natasha had even gone so far as to laugh at you.
You were good at avoiding. You'd practiced it all your anti-social life. So, it wasn't your fault that you'd be assigned babysitter. It was Wanda's. Clint had managed to corner her one day. Their relationship was a strange one. He'd cared for Pietro, and Pietro had cared enough for Clint to give up his life for him. Now, the surviving Maximoff and the archer had some sort of bond. That bond had made it impossible for her to say no to babysitting the toddler that was named after her brother.
Stuck with two kids anyway, you figured you might as well take care of Cassie at this point. Once you'd been nominated babysitter, though, Tony had taken it upon yourself to never leave you alone. It seemed, for those few days after you'd agreed to take care of the kids, Tony was around every single corner. You wouldn't have been surprised to learn he had been using the security cameras to keep track of you, because no matter how hard you tried to hide from him, he was there.
He was teasing you relentlessly about your having to babysit. Unlike the rest of them, Tony wasn't teasing you because you, an Avenger, were stuck with a 16-year-old high schooler's job. He was teasing you because you were stuck at a nice little home in the country with three kids and your girlfriend. He insisted, every time he saw you, that this was going to be good practice for your future. Wanda had blushed furiously the first time he'd said it. You'd shooed him away.
As much as you hated dealing with the billionaire and his stupid smirk when he'd approach you to tease you about practicing for your own kids, you would deal with it. Wanda would always turn away with a tomato-red blush burning on her cheeks, and so you would always find a way to give her an escape to stick around and take Tony's taunting yourself. Mostly you just ignored him, but he was persistent if nothing else.
Tony had driven you absolutely mad with his stupid suggestive tone and heckling comments. That was undeniable. Sometimes, you even wanted to take him down to the ring just for a reason to drive your fist into his gut. But after a long day of work and having to hear him go on and on, you'd climb into your bed, or sometimes Wanda's, fall asleep for the night, and dream up the pictures that he'd painted into your head.
There were two or three kids. One of them was always a boy. You were just getting home from somewhere, and Wanda was in the backyard of your house, watching the children play. The boy would be with one of the other kids, but when you approached Wanda and slid an arm around her waist, he'd run up to you. You'd ruffle a hand in his hair, and he'd giggle, light green eyes casting up to look at you. He had Wanda's eyes. You'd reach down and pick him up, kissing his cheek as he continued to laugh.
"Hi, Momma," he'd say.
"Hello, Pietro," you would reply every time. "Were you good for your mom today?"
Then he would nod and squirm a little, desperate to get back to his brothers or sisters. You'd set him down on his feet and he'd dash back to the others. You would lean into Wanda, then, kissing her softly. She would kiss you back, just as gently and lovingly as she did in your waking life. No words would be exchanged as you guided her to the bench swing, pulling her close and smiling as you both turned to watch your children laugh and play together.
It was just a dream, and it was entirely Tony's fault, you were sure. He'd put the idea of a family into your head and now you couldn't get it out. You'd always known you wanted kids and, even though you might not have known her all too long, you knew it was Wanda you wanted them with. She was your everything and you wouldn't want anything without her. Your future didn't exist without Wanda Maximoff.
"I've seen those dreams you've been having."
That honestly didn't surprise you too much. She'd seen your dreams on occasion. You'd learned that when you'd woken up absolutely drenched in sweat one night after a particularly inappropriate dream involving a particular witch. She'd watched your eyes open and immediately straddled your waist, promising to make your dream come true. You hadn't gone back to sleep that night, and it was clear as day that she had seen every single detail of that dream.
She was a mind reader. It wasn't hard for her to see just what was going on in your head; conscious or not. So, as you slept, she was able to see those images of you and she with your cozy little house and little Pietro smiling up at the both of you. It didn't surprise you, but it did make you a little nervous to know she'd seen them. You didn't want to seem like you were rushing into things at a pace that she wasn't ready for. You would wait forever for her.
You'd talked about it with her before. It was nothing too serious. It had been a simple conversation, the two of you discussing where you thought you might be five or ten years down the road. When you'd talked about it, the two of you hadn't been dating yet. You'd just been friends, both wanting to be more. It had been a quiet night, and you'd wanted to take her mind off Pietro, who had died only four months earlier.
Wanda pictured her future as a quieter life. She wanted a nice home on a quaint little street where she wanted a family, someone to love and maybe a couple of kids down the road. She'd told you she wasn't sure yet, if she wanted to continue being an Avenger. She hadn't always been fond of the sort of action you guys saw, but she knew she had the power to help people. Her heart was good. She couldn't just ignore that fact.
Your vision had been a little different. You were absolutely sure that you wanted to continue being an Avenger. You were a hero through and through. You couldn't imagine a life where you weren't doing what you did now: keeping people safe. You wanted to stay in New York, but maybe moving out into the suburbs in the outskirts of the city. You, too, wanted to start a family someday. Avenging could be a day job, you'd assured.
Then you'd gotten together. You'd admitted your feelings, you'd gone on some dates, and quickly, you'd fallen deeply in love with her. That dream of a future was still one you had: An Avenger by day and a wife and mother by night. At some point, though, that woman you saw yourself having that family with had become Wanda. Suddenly, you couldn't see it any other way. For a long time, you'd kept that from her. Now, though, she knew, and you were glad she did.
"What do you think of it? The dream," you asked carefully.
Wanda didn't answer right away. Her eyes had cast out the window to watch Cassie and Lila run through the yard, passing the ball between each other before Cassie turned and kicked it into the net. They both cheered loudly, raising their arms in the air, smiling widely, and high fiving. Their excitement made Wanda smile too. Her gaze turned back away from the yard and back to you, searching your face carefully. You let her study every detail of your eyes.
"I think it's beautiful."
Any life with her would have been beautiful. Anything with her was beautiful. You were absolutely sure Wanda Maximoff was the most beautiful thing in the world and there was nothing that could have changed your mind. The Avengers teased you sometimes. Natasha had teased one day, that you looked at your girlfriend as if she were the most exquisite piece in an art museum. You'd only assured her that no piece of art ever held a candle to the Sokovian.
"Would you..." You trailed off and took a breath, trying to figure out just what you were asking. "Would you consider it one day?"
Wanda didn't hesitate a millisecond. "I don't have to consider it. One day, Sweetheart."
That warmed you to your very soul. You put your hands on your cheeks and turned her face toward yours. You pressed your lips together, the feeling never failing to make your eyes flutter shut. You savoured the so familiar taste of her against your lips as you let your hands slide; one moved to the back of her neck to hold her close, and the other came to rest on her thigh. It wasn't a long kiss. It didn't need to be. It only took a few seconds to convey to her something words never could.
"How many?" She asked.
You laughed. "Two or three? What do you think, Baby?"
"Three," she hummed softly.
You couldn't believe that Tony was fucking right. Here you were with the woman you loved so dearly, babysitting your coworkers’ kids, and imagining having ones of your own someday. You had to admit, you did like it. They were a bit of a handful, that much was for sure, but you loved it. You loved watching their smiles, watching them play and laugh, and joining them in their fun and games. You loved seeing how Wanda would sit with them, cradle Nathaniel close, and read the girls bedtime stories. The thought of having this with her made your heart swell.
"Alright, where would we live?" You asked with a soft laugh.
"We'll stay near New York," she assured. "My big strong Avenger."
You laughed when she teasingly squeezed one of your biceps. You flexed a little, pressing the muscles against her hand. At this, the touches to your arm weren't so teasing. Her fingers traced the lines of the defined muscles that lay beneath your skin. You breathed out a quiet laugh, grabbing her hand and gently kissing against her knuckles. Her hand hesitated at your mouth as she ran the pad of her thumb across your bottom lip.
"Port Washington?" You offered. "Maybe a little way outside the city or in northern Jersey? I know you want to raise a family in a small town and New York City isn't exactly that."
She pressed her lips against your neck for a moment. "I love you."
You breathed out. "I love you, too."
She pulled away, moving to touch your knee instead. You put a hand over top of hers, turning to check on Cassie and Lila again. They'd taken to sitting in the grass, leaning against a tree trunk, and talking quietly. You weren't sure what about, but you were just glad that they seemed to still be having a good time. You slid Wanda's hand off your knee so that you could stand up.
"I'm just going to grab a snack for the girls," you kissed her cheek. "When I'm back, you can let me know if you've got any more ideas for this life of ours, huh?"
Wanda nodded.
You moved into the kitchen, opening up the pantry and putting together a couple of PB and Js, cutting them in half and setting them on the counter. You then mixed a few glasses of lemonade, put everything on a tray, and headed briefly back to the living room to hand one glass to Wanda, before heading out the back door. You whistled merrily, catching the girls' attention. They both smiled at your approach, and you settled into the grass beside them.
"For you."
They thanked you repeatedly, taking a plate and a glass each. You took your own glass, sitting back and sipping it as the cool breeze blew through your hair. You crossed your legs, watching their girls bite into their sandwiches. You tried to think back to what you'd been talking about at their age. You'd been in grade school and had often been in the schoolyard with your friends talking about boys. Well... they'd talk about boys and you would hesitate and make something up because you didn't know who the hell you liked.
"So, what are we talking about today, girls?"
"Lila was just telling me about a boy named Sam."
"Cassie!"
"What?" Cassie defended. "She's not gonna tell!"
You nodded. "Cassie is right, kid. I'm the best secret keeper probably ever."
Lila seemed to ponder this for a moment. It was a blatant lie, though. Every secret that was told to you was also told to Wanda, but it didn't go past there. You couldn't keep things from her. It was like she could pull anything from you with just a simple gaze from those light eyes. Even if you didn't tell her, she was a mind reader. Either she'd hear it from your lips, or she'd hear it running through your brain at one point or another.
Lila seemed to be contemplating this. "Okay. Well, there's this boy in my class. His name is Sam. I really like him."
"Oh, yeah?" You asked, sipping your lemonade. "So why don't you tell him that?"
"No! I can't tell him."
"Why not?" You scoffed. "What's the worst that could happen, Li? He either likes you back or he doesn't."
You'd always had trouble with your own advice. If you admitted your feelings to someone and they told you they didn't feel that same way, you felt awkward for months after that. But you were an adult. Lila was eleven. Even if kids these days were growing up way faster than you did, you knew that things were a lot more complex when you were a little more grown up. In a year or two, then she'd start realizing that.
"What about you, Cas? Any boys in your class you've got an eye on?" You winked.
Cassie didn't seem to find this very amusing though. Suddenly, it seemed, her sandwich wasn't very appetizing, and the lemonade had lost its sweetness. Her gaze moved to somewhere no one could meet it, locking to the ground as her fingers began playing absentmindedly with the grass. You tilted your head to the side curiously. You glanced over at Lila, but she didn't seem to know the reason for this either.
"Lila, could you give us a minute?" You asked the older of the girls. "Why don't you go see what Wanda is up to?"
Lila nodded and scampered off. She ran to the house and in the back door, and you watched in the window as she appeared beside Wanda. You saw her explaining something to the Sokovian, likely just trying to express that her friend was upset. You turned your focus to Cassie, who was busying herself by pulling a few blades of grass out of the ground. You didn't try to stop her, the fidgeting obviously calming her anxiety.
"What if..." She took a deep breath as she trailed off. "What if I think I like like a girl?"
Cassie Lang was ten years old. That's around the same age you started wondering what the other girls saw in boys. You hadn't realized as young as she did that you'd liked girls, but you knew something about you was different. At that age, you'd thought maybe something was wrong with you. It had taken you a few years to realize you weren't broken, just different. It had taken you even longer to realize that was okay.
You knew Cassie probably felt more comfortable asking one of her babysitters this question than anyone else. She trusted her parents and her stepdad, and she loved them, that much was clear. With them, though, she watched a man love a woman. With you, she watched you love Wanda the same way Scott loved Hope. She watched you do something she was feeling in herself. It made everything seem a little more normal and a little more okay. You knew that much from experience.
"Cas, look at me, Sweetheart," you said gently. Cassie looked up at you. "You can like whoever you want to like, and you can be whoever you want to be."
"But at school, all the girls like boys and I don't. Why don't I? I just want to be the same."
"Because not everyone is the same, and that's okay. You don't think there's anything wrong with me, do you?"
"No."
"No. And I love a girl. Isn't that okay?"
"Yeah."
Maybe it was a bit of a guilt trip, but it got Cassie to look up. You watched as her eyes travelled from you, to Wanda, and back. There was no longer any trace of nerves or anxiety on the young girl. It had instead been replaced by curiosity. It seemed your little pep talk had actually worked. She seemed more at ease after assurance that she didn't need to be normal. You knew that wasn't it for those nerves, you even got them yourself once in a while, but you were glad to have put her at ease for a while.
"Kiddo, are you going to talk to your mom or dad about this?"
As honoured as you were that you'd felt to be a safe person to come out to, you weren't really the person that she should be going to for support. Her mother and father would give her that. You didn't know Maggie well, but you knew Scott. He would be unconditionally supportive and wouldn't hesitate to reassure her if she ever felt like this again and if there were someone who didn't, he'd make sure to immediately remove that person from their life.
"I think I'm gonna talk to my dad when he gets home. Can you talk to him for me?"
"I can give him a little heads up, but you're going to have to be the one to actually talk to him."
She took a deep breath but nodded. "Okay."
You smiled proudly.
You sat with Cassie for a little while longer in that spot. Following your conversation, she seemed to be feeling better. She was eating and drinking again as she told you a little about this girl she was sweet on. You didn't comment too much, smiling and nodding along as she told you stories about the schoolyard. Soon enough you were once again trading places with Lila. The two girls resumed their gossiping in the grass, and you moved back to sit with your girlfriend once more.
When you sat down next to Wanda, glancing at a still sleeping Nathaniel as you moved, you immediately turned to the window. The two preteens had already regained that same calm expression they had been sporting earlier. Satisfied that they were both alright, now, you turned back to Wanda. She was watching you carefully, eyes flickering down to peek at the smile on your lips. You beckoned her to come back against you like she had been before you left.
"You and Cassie seemed to have quite the heart-to-heart," she hummed quietly as she leaned back against your side and your arm snaked around her.
"She confessed she might have a crush on a girl."
Wanda raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? Well, I see why you were a safe person to confess that to."
You chuckled and kissed the side of her head. "Yeah, I do, too. I gave her a little bit of reassurance before telling her she should really talk to Scott or Maggie."
Wanda nodded in agreement. She reached out to the table to grab the glass of lemonade you'd made for her, sipping it quietly. The cool glass pressed against your arm when she lowered it, sending a shiver throughout your body. She seemed to notice this, as she laughed, moving the cold cup up to your cheek. The condensation that coated it transferred onto your skin and you frowned, pushing her hand away. She laughed a little harder.
"So, what did you come up with?" You asked her. "I seem to remember asking you to come up with some more details."
"You did. So, I wondered what Pietro's siblings' names might be?"
You froze. That was from your dream. You knew she'd been seeing it, but you still got a little curious when she brought up the more minor details. You turned to look at her, curiosity burning in your chest. Pietro was her brother, not yours. You wondered briefly if she even wanted to name any children she might have in the future after the brother she'd lost.
"Pietro," you repeated softly. "Is that okay?"
"Fuck, Honey."
Wanda rarely swore, so when she did, you knew she was feeling something strong. You were assured it was a good feeling, though, when she grabbed you and pulled you toward herself roughly. Your lips connected and you felt the intensity in her kiss. You didn't dare be the one to pull away from this, letting her show you how she was feeling through the intimate touch. When she finally did, her hands were immediately in yours.
"Thank you. He meant the world to me and you mean so, so much to me, too and... thank you, Honey."
"You don't have to thank me, Baby. He deserves it," you assured, a hand on her cheek. "But did you have other ideas too?"
She nodded. "I did. We'll obviously discuss more when the occasion arises, right?"
"Right," you agreed with a laugh. "So?"
"I like the name Tommy. It's cute, don't you think?"
"I do think so," you hummed.
You don't know what it was, but something had you so drawn to her in this moment. You wanted to pull her close and never let her go. Granted, you wanted that most of the time. Right now, though, the thought of releasing her from where you had her flush against your side, her head resting so softly on your shoulder, made your heart feel a little weaker. As if she could feed that absolute need radiating off of you, she kissed your shoulder and put her hand into yours, squeezing tight.
"Any girls' names you like?"
Wanda stopped to ponder. "Violet."
"That's cute too," you smiled at the thought of your family. "You're pretty good at this, my dear," you paused for a moment. "So, Pietro, Tommy, and Violet Maximoff?"
She hesitated at hearing that. Her head moved off your shoulder, and you immediately missed the lack of pressure. You had to suppress a quiet whine as you glanced over at the curious eyes that were peering at you. You cocked your head to the side, in the movement, willing her to tell you what was going on inside her head. You felt as though her eyes could see into your very soul with the way she was watching you.
"Maximoff," she finally said.
"Yeah. I like it," you told her. "And doesn't my name sound so good with your last?"
You didn't even have to say the name aloud. Just hearing it in her own mind had a shiver running through her body- something you felt it against your own. She didn't have to say aloud, either, that she loved the idea. You knew she did. You both did. It was something that made you entirely hers. You were entirely hers. You belonged to Wanda Maximoff and her last name attached to your first would prove that to anyone.
"One day," Wanda said, repeating the words you'd spoken earlier. "One day you'll be my Mrs. Maximoff."
It was your turn to hesitate at those words. You were both talking about this as if it were inevitable. As far as you were concerned, it was. You couldn't even picture a life that didn't have Wanda in it. You didn't want to. You wanted to be her wife and live in a small house in the suburbs and raise children with her. You wanted all of it so bad you could hardly fathom it. You turned to her, making sure to catch her eyes.
"Did we just get engaged?" You teased.
You hadn't, but you had. All engagement was, was a promise to be each other's and to get married. There was no time limit on that. In the last little while, you'd promised that to each other. You had both promised each other this entire life that you could see laid out before you. Neither of you had been discussing it as if it were a possibility, but more as an inevitability. That sure sounded like a promise to you.
"I don't know," Wanda admitted. "We agreed we'd get married one day."
"Yeah," you agreed. "We definitely did."
Then you decided to make it less of a question as to what had or had not happened. You slid away from her and stood up off the couch. You took a knee on the floor, bringing her hand into yours. Your heart was thumping so loud in your chest that you had to wonder whether or not she could hear it from where she sat. Judging by the way her eyes widened, though, you thought that maybe her own heartbeat was drowning it out.
You didn't think this was how you'd do this. Sure, you'd many times thought about how you'd one day propose to Wanda. In none of those scenarios was she sitting on the couch in Clint's living room whilst Nathaniel slept ten feet away with Lila and Cassie's giggles floating in through the window. They were usually a lot more romantic than this. You couldn't find it in yourself to care. This was the moment. You could feel it.
"So let me clear up the confusion," you offered, eyes not leaving hers. "Wanda Maximoff, I cannot picture my life without this little suburban house and these sweet little kids and you, my love. I will walk to the ends of the Earth and back for you. I'd give you my heart and my soul in an instant if you wanted me to. Will you marry me?"
Wanda didn't seem to be able to find her voice. Her expression was one of shock. Her jaw had dropped a little, and her eyes were wide, watering a little. You wanted more than anything to reach out and wipe those tears away and to kiss her cheeks, even if they weren't tears of sorrow. But your knee was glued to the floor until she gave you an answer. She seemed to collect herself, then. Her hands wiped at her eyes, her lips curled into a smile, and then, finally, she nodded.
"Yes. Of course, yes."
She pulled you back onto the couch. It might have been a little far, with your knees on either side of her waist. The two girls could have walked in at any moment. But you were so completely happy that there was absolutely nothing that would have stopped you from resting your arms on her shoulders, linking your hands behind her neck, and kissing her like you needed her more than you needed oxygen in your lungs. You supposed you might have. She finally pushed you away.
"I love you."
"I love you, too, beautiful fiancée of mine," you teased. "I guess Tony was right then, huh? The babysitting gig was good for us."
She laughed and then buried herself in your embrace. You held her there, not a single care in the world, knowing she was yours and you were hers. One day you would have a life a little like this one. You and she together with a family of your own and so much love around you.
It was all thanks to the stupid, stupid babysitting gig.

"You make me this way," he confessed wholeheartedly. Isaac could see the tears in her eyes, and his fingertip brushed against her cheek. "You are my entire world, and I just want you to know that I'm only a better man because of you." He knew there was more to it, but Nettie was his main reason. His motivation. He kept her close, just one more kiss to the top of her head. "She will absolutely love her cousin, hm Rosebud does have that protective vibe about her," he mused, picturing his niece taking on the protective role he was so well-known for, when her words pulled his attention back to her. Isaac didn't want to ask. He was going to let her take the lead on sharing the news, but he had to admit he was already jumping up and down over the idea of telling his brother. "Really?" His grin was wide, quickly nodding in agreement. "Yes, we do need to get the family together!" Isaac recalled the last time he had to tell the family news, how he was reckless and stupid, caused the loss of his child on the way. "Are you sure you don't want us to wait to get the whole family together, including the boys? I can wait, promise." Debatable, but he'd do it for her.
Isaac half-expected a fight. To be honest, he was preparing for it, but part of him was more glad that she agreed. They both knew, their baby's safety would be top priority. "We can come up with ideas of fun. I promise I won't keep you in bed for nine months, unless the doctor explicitly asks for that." Time off work, he hadn't considered that. He figured it was possible. Isaac had enough time accumulated, being allergic to taking time off and all. He was already thinking of a plan in his head, "of course. You ask and I deliver baby."
He looked at Rosebud entranced by the cookie before her, and a soft smile drew on his lips. "My mom always said that kids will always be the perfect mix of their parents. Maybe not the mix we want. She always wanted us to get her brown eyes, and she got excited with me, but then Inez and Emma, dad's green eyes. Our baby will be perfect, don't you worry about it." He hadn't gone into the daydreaming portion yet, but Isaac's excitement was already growing, just thinking of their baby - all the advice and things he had learned from his parents when he was on sibling babysitting duty. It was all coming to fruition now.
As soon as he said it, he remembered Rosebud wouldn't know the word. He was about to explain, but he saw the cutest interaction between her and Nettie and kept to himself instead. Nettie looked so cute next to her, it was making his heart swell. Rosebud nuzzled into his cheek, and he did the same. "That's right babygirl." He was amused by her observation, but he supposed she wasn't wrong. Her parents did make a point to celebrate her birthday first (and separately), and then Christmas celebrations. As far as kids with holiday birthdays went, she was pretty lucky. "You're too smart for a hint. I bet if I give you even the tiniest hint, you'll figure it out." Isaac saw her grin, and could only laugh at her question. This is what he got for calling her his favorite niece so often, even if she was his only niece. But, lucky for him, she got distracted by the theme question. Cinderella only made him laugh once more, shaking his head as he remembered the brief nickname his brother had. He had to make sure to tell Nettie that story sometime. "Princess Jasmine is a good one, better songs anyway. I'll check in with mom and dad, but we'll make it happen." He took a seat next to his niece, patting on his lap for Nettie to sit. "One cookie down, you're well on your way to start your baking career Rosiebud. Are we adding baker to your dream jobs?"
Tumblr media
Now she felt tears swell in her eyes as he spoke so sweetly. "How do you do that?" She could have chalked it up to hormones but no this was her. Everytime he pulled that out it made her cry. She didn't need to tell him how much she loved him. He knew from the countless looks and the tender touches she'd always provide for him. "She's gonna love her cousin isn't she? I can see her protecting her. Also you have full permission to tell your boys now. Your sisters I'd like to tell them together."
There was no use in arguing she knew that. "Fine. But can we do something fun. I don't want to just sit in bed for all nine months. Would you be able to take time off work?" She felt a rush of a deep blush at the finger kiss and shied away from his gaze.
"I wonder if we will get a mini me like that. How will ours look like. Will Eli say hey our kid has your smile or my eyes." The wheels in her head were turning at the thought of their own child. Daydreams of their baby started making their way into her mind. Then moments of their love making made their way into her brain and couldn't help but smile. Issac was such a giver in all aspects of his life but when he gave his all during their sessions she felt tears prick her eyes.
The little looked stumped for a second then turned to Nettie and smirked making her come closer. She asked her what infinity meant and when she got told she giggled and nuzzled into her uncle's cheek. It reminded her of her dad's scruffy cheek and gave him a kiss on the side of his face. Making eye contact with her boyfriend made her chew her lower lip to keep from laughing. Rosebud sure had her priorities straight it seemed. Rosebud furrowed her eyebrows just thinking about it. "Yes, it is almost time. My birthday is first then Christmas." She didn't know both days were the same. "I can get a hint can't I?" Her toothy grin was reminiscent of her mother's. "Would you deny your favorite niece?" That made Nettie let out a laugh. "She's got you there." Rosebud felt pride swell in her tiny heart and giggled. "I would like to have princesses! No wait. A Cinderella theme because she's blue." The color blue was her favorite then remembered another princess with the same pretty blue. "No! Nevermind. A jasmine theme please."

A possible babysitting nightmare (Kim possible)
Bonnie bit her lip as the final bell rang for the day, and unfortunately she had been unable to get herself into any form of punishment that warranted after school detention. Instead all she had was extra math and English homework that would be harder to finish up then her normal homework because she had a after date with bottle, bibs and full diapers. And before dear reader you assume it was going to be her own butt going back in Huggies, no. It was only Kimberly Anne Possible who everyone at school knew wore diapers 24/7 but only her family and friends and her poor babysitter (AKA Bonnie) knew that she went full on big baby once she was out of the public eye.And worse? the big dumb baby had the biggest crush on Bonnie who's barn doors did NOT swing that way. And any attempt to explain that to Kim just made the stupid big baby smirk and go:
"Not yet."
'Maybe I can get in a accident on the way, and just bow out that way..' Bonnie thought as she trudged her way to her locker.
The kicker of it all was while she had thought the job would of been great (who wouldn't wanna try and tease and humiliate a pamper pooping cheer leading rival?) and she'd been paid up front for 3 months of service, she had quickly found out that she didn't have the stomach for most of the unpleasant duties that came with babying a thumb sucking drooly baby.
And that had been before Kim had fallen HARD for her and kept wanting to cuddle even when she was in a shit swelled diaper that had Bonnie trying not to hurl. trying to simply escape Kim or push her out of her lap was impossible too as despite her pamper packing life style Kim still had a dominant edge to herself and pound for pound was fair stronger and more skilled then Bonnie could ever hope to be.
Naturally she had tried to just quit the job, something that the possibles were fine with..as long as she not only returned what she had been paid (minus the dates she had already worked) but also paid a a added 20 percent for a inconvenience charge for leaving them high and dry.
Having already blown the money and her parents making it clear they weren't going to bail her out, Bonnie had been forced to keep the job, praying that sooner or later maybe at least her sense of smell would die off.
It was said sense of smell and the sound of crinkling that alerted Bonnie to Kim's approach before the big baby said anything. Kim might of been a super spy but when you've gone and used your diaper and have extra crinkly pink diapers, stealth was no longer a option.
"Heyyy bestie! Guess what I did!" Kim giggled, throwing her arms around Bonnie and pulling her in for a hug, Bonnie's mouth on her shoulder and forcing the air out so Bonnie was forced to take a breath in to enjoy Kim's 'present.'
Bonnie gagged even as other students diverted away, anther side effect of Kim latching onto her like she had was people thought Bonnie was into this big baby stuff too, not to mention she had transfer stink on her after a babysitting session with Kim.
Finally let up so she could talk, Bonnie shot Kim a look and then held her nose.
"I could smell you coming, so I know what you did!" She snapped.
"heh yay! That's because I'm your poopie princess!" Kim said, clearly losing any sense of shame the longer this went on.
Bonnie gave it a week, two at the most before she started to come to school in her baby outfits.
"Your something alright. Alright come on, let's go get you changed then get you home." Bonnie sighed, knowing that asking kim to change herself after the last bell had range would fly.
"Oh Gosh, about that.." Kim said and batted her eyes in a effort to look cute and adorable even as she smelled like a trash can. "Da silly big baby fergot to stock up her school diapies, all out!" Kim giggled.
"..So I'll have to walk you home..with you smelling like this?" Bonnie asked, her bottom lip trembling. the escort to the Possible home was her last chance to enjoy the smell of fresh air before the nightmare started!
"Hehehehe yupp~ I'm SO silly aren't I?" Kim asked and then leaned forever and planted a smooch on Bonnie's cheek while the other girl was frozen in despair.
If Kim was bothered by the smelly mess in the back of her droopy diaper, she didn't show it as she held Bonnie's hand and skipped on the walk home.
She had wanted to just slid the pants off and let everyone see she was Bonnie's good little present maker (a present Bonnie would love to send back) but Bonnie in a rare flash of brilliance (or self preservation, you be the judge) came up with a valid reason for Kimmie to keep her pants on.
"Uh, pretty sure that would be breaking public decency laws. your a superhero right? you can't just pick which laws you listen to and which ones you don't." Bonnie had said, praying it would work.
"..Poopie you got a point." Kim huffed, pouting and stomping her feet for 20 seconds then was back to skipping. "Oh well, you'll get to see how big of a mess I made for you because of how much I like like you!"
"Oh Joy." Bonnie grumbled.
"eee! knew you'd come around!" Kim giggled and planted a big smooch on Bonnie's face, getting snickers from a elderly couple on they're front lawn.
'Someone just shoot me now.'
If there was one semi thing to be grateful for when it came to being the possible's babysitter, it was that Kim's little brothers weren't big babies like her and while they of course had a interest in girl on girl like most boys their age did, when one of the girls was their big sister it spoiled the fun.
as such they either kept to their room or found after school clubs to join so they wouldn't have to endure princess poopie's stink.
'which just goes to prove their little genius.' Bonnie thought.bitterly.
smarter then her at least since they had apparently been offered the role of looking after their sister but had turned it down.
"Alright stinky bitch, g-" Bonnie started to say, her hand moving to point to Kim's changing supplies she insisted be kept downstairs since no sane person would enter the big babies nursery without a hazmat suit.
"Princess poopie." Kim corrected her and giggled.
"..Princess Poopie. Please go get your changing supplies ready." Bonnie said, rolling her eyes.
"Ughhh again with changing me on the living room floor? I HAVE a totally awesome changing table in my room you know!" Kim huff then added with a wink. "and a nice soft crib~"
'And there's anther reason not to go into her room.' Bonnie thought, backing up a bit but Kim closed the distance with hunters smile on her face.
"K-Kimmie stop right there. I'm the babysitter and ergo I'm the one in charge s-" Bonnie stammered out, back against a wall as Kim came in and put her arms on either side of Bonnie, smirking.
"Do you feel like your in charge right now Bonnie?" Kim asked, moving her head closer and her cinnamon breath helped cancel out the smell of her diaper.
"N-No.." Bonnie admitted.
"heh, tell you what, you give your poopie princes a big smooch on the lips..and I mean a GOOD one..And I'll drop going to my nursery for now and get the padding pad ready. Otherwise, I'll just put you over my shoulder and carry you upstairs." Kim chuckled and knowing Bonnie was trapped between two choice (and in place) Kim waited for her answer.
Bonnie whimpered, she had NO doubt that Kim could follow though with her threat with relative ease and shutting her eyes tight and pretending it was her ex boyfriend Brick (who'd dumped her shortly after her babysitting job started up) she puckered up and mashed her lips on Kim's, putting her arms around the big babies head and trying to make it good, all while counting down in her head from ten then pulling away..and having to smirk as Kim was left goofy face and shaking.
"That good enough princess poopie?" Bonnie asked, a flair of her old self coming though.
"Duuuh...Yup!" Kim giggled and true to her word she waddled off to go and get her teddy bear changing mat and the diaper ready.
"...I might have to rethink this whole no kissing thing if it'll help me get the upper hand." Bonnie mused to herself, never catching the impish grin Kim had on her face, and thus not finding out she was being played.
One smelly diaper change later and Kim was in just a thick pink and white diaper with Hello kitty on the front and a black halter top, her hair in pig tails and sucking on a paci as she laid on a blanket on the floor tummy down.
She was kicking her legs while sucking on a pink pacifier and drawing a picture with crayons since all of her school work was done while Bonnie was struggling with her math problems.
'Ok so if I add this and that.. then Y is.. Jesus what was wrong with just telling us what the fecking number were, who had the bright idea to replace then with number anyways!?! This is so st-' Bonnie was mentally ranting when a shadow fell over her noted book and she looked up to see Kim smiling, her paci hanging around her neck and she was holding out the sheet of construction paper she had been doodling on.
"I made you a picture!" the big baby coo'ed.
For being a stupid pamper packer, Kim had some skill at drawing as it was clear that the people in the picture were suppose to be her and Bonnie, but it also brought a blush to Bonnie's face as it had Kim in just a diaper (and a full on at that) kissing Bonnie and humping Bonnie's knee.
"I Uh.. Thanks?" Bonnie squeaked out.
"Hehehe I knew you'd like it! are you gonna hang it on your fridge at home so everyone can see?!" Kim giggled and semi bounced.
"I uh..don't think my parents would like that." Bonnie said, picturing the look on her folks faces if they came downstairs to get some milk and saw some rule 34 on the fridge door.
"Awww..but... but.. I worked super hard on it!" Kim whined, pouting and her bottom lip starting to tremble.
"A-ah! wait! don't cry! I would TOTALLY hang it up if I could, but it's my parents, not me!" Bonnie said, waving her arms.
As bad as a horny and stinky Kim was, a bawling one gets boogers and tears all over Bonnie's tops was even worse.
"-sniff- Promise you would if ya could?" Kim asked, the tears halting for the moment and Bonnie nodding her head over and over. "Then you won't mind putting it up in your room!" Kim said and gave a BIG grin.
'..Did I just get fucking played?' Bonnie thought to herself, but then out loud. "Ok, I will, but only if you promise no sob fess."
"Deal! Oh and you hafa take a picture to prove you put it up!" Kim said, folding the picture up and sliding it into Bonnie's backpack.
Some more TV and homework time and then Kim got up as Bonnie was putting said homework away and pushed Bonnie's backpack away and then pushed her back wards on the couch, sitting sitting up at least but a evil look in her eyes as she sucked on her paci.
"What the hell Kimmie, what are yo- Oh No." Bonnie started to snap, then saw the look in Kim's eyes.
It was pamper packing time and Bonnie was just 'lucky' enough to be Kim's favorite spot to fill her diapers to the brim.
"At least let me get the clothes pin for my nose first!" Bonnie wailed and Kim just giggled and shook her head no, then plopped down on Bonnie's lap, her legs on either side of Bonnie and facing her.
"..I'm about to get molested aren't I?" Bonnie asked with a whimper, since normally Kim would turn around so her butt was pressing again Bonnie's front.
Kim just giggled and let the paci fall out of her mouth as she leaned in and kissed Bonnie's cheek.
"what do you think?"
"I need a adult!"
"You are the adult."
Sure, some SMALL part of Kim knew what she was doing was all sorts of wrong but she had pegged Bonnie from day one to be her new mommy and she hadn't of gotten as far as she had in life by being a quitter.
even as she mashed her lip's to Bonnie's as she let out muffled protests and whimpers Kim bore down down and her efforts were rewarded as a massive load started to fill the seat of her diapies, the smell not bothering her as she had trained herself to enjoy it and naturally she enjoyed the warm comfortable of her own soft serve coating her tight buns.
Plus adding in just how naughty it made her feel and well.. there was a reason she had gone full on big baby.
"Mmm mommy mommy, Princess poopie is making you SUCH a big present~ Tell me what a good girl I am and squish my bum!" Kim coo'ed babishly, breaking off the kiss.
"G-Get your shit filled diaper off of my lap!" Bonnie cried out, putting up more of a fight then Kim had come to expect from her and making her frown.
"Look, this is happening. you can play along and squish my diapie and praise me and give me kisses, or I can push you onto the floor and bounce my butt on your face till you're smelling my poopie diapie for a week." Kim snapped, annoyed at having to break charter. "YOUR choice!"
Bonnie turned pale and whimpered, almost looking like she was the one who needed a diaper (now there was food for thought, the two of them as stinky princess sisters!) then she slowly reached around and started to pat and squish the still filling diapered rump.
"G-Good girl Kimmie! y-your number one..at..going number two?" Bonnie said, voice unsure.
'Eh..I've heard better but she's working under pressure. She'll get better.' Kim thought and then switched back to happy baby mode. "Yay! fankies mommy! can I has kisses now?"
"Uh.. wipe your chin first?" Bonnie asked meekly.
"heh. Otay mommy!" Kim said, willing to give a small condescension and wiping her chin then leaning in and mashing lips with Bonnie, getting her tongue in the other girls mouth, only breaking the kiss as Bonnie's hand came off her squishy rump.
"Who told you to stop?"
"S-Sorry!" Bonnie yelped and now it was both hands mashing and mushing her load around and Kim almost melted at the feeling, coo'ing and flopping into Bonnie as her toes curled.
Bonnie of course had noticed the change in power and despite the smell asulting her nose and the faint taste of Kim's lip gloss on her lips, she smiled.
"Awww does my poopie princess wuv her mess squishes? Maybe instead of kisses I'll just mash your stinky bum~ would my stinky poopie princess like that?" Bonnie asked, smirking.
"O-Oh I-"
"Oh silly me, asking a BABY what she would like.You don't get to have a say in this, your just a big stinky baby." Bonnie said, taking a hand away to pop Kim's paci back in her mouth.
the look of shock on Kim's face was adorable and Bonnie found herself starting to have a bit of fun with this as she went back to slapping and squishing Kim's smelly butt.
"I think for now on somebody is gonna be a good little chaste kiss virgin and just get her loving from stinky diaper pats. And she's gonna stop making silly threats to mommy if she knows whats good for her." Bonnie added.
Kim was too busy sucking hard on her paci and mewing behind it to offer up a argument, and hoping to keep the flow of power in her favor Bonnie ran with it.
"From now on when we get home your paci goes in and stays in unless your eating numn nums or drinking your ba-ba..Little babies should be seen not heard." She added and Kim was making lots of noise at that.
"If you agree to that, if really want me to make you my helpless baby girl, go ahead and make a big girl mess in your poopie diapies poopie princess."
Kim clearly didn't need to be told twice and shuddering in Bonnie's arms 'agreed' to the deal, flopping down exhausted afterwards and eyes struggling to stay open.
before Kim drifted off to sleep all the big baby super spy could think was ' At what point exactly did I lose control here? and why how come I didn't do it sooner?'
The end
