So, I don't have a tiktok account, but I've occasionally scrolled through the Metal Lords content on there with my friend who has an account. (It's mostly not our thing, but there will be interesting stuff every now and then) ANYWAY- point being, a comment we KEPT seeing the other night was people lamenting how Hunter looked with the side of his head shaved. Just over and over. People went on about how he looked "so good" before and how the shaved side just "ruined" his appearance.

Now, 1. There's an aspect of this I'm just not gonna get because I'm not fucking attracted to him. So I can't see that angle. 2. Obviously, narratively, there's a lot of interesting depth to the whole hair debacle. I've rambled about that before but that's not what those commenters are talking about. They just don't like how it looks. They hate it, in fact.

SO, narrative aside, if we look at it just aesthetically, I CANNOT comprehend someone considering this "ruined"

Partly because it just looks really good #But also- if what happened to Hunter had happened to a real person them regrowing their hair out would make a lot of sense #But because he's a fictional character:#it's a part of his arc and effectively un-doing it would feel like kind of erasing that part of his character development #Which is why IF they ever made a sequel and his hair is 'back to normal' I will be PISSED #I have 0 faith in sequels in general. Ergo I do not want one.#If they make a Metal Lords 2 I will watch it but I will be CONVINCED they will fuck it up.
