So I've seen this circulating around, and anyway, here some yapping that prob none of you will care about.

Sorry to that person for disrespecting their Proship DNI but its important:

Several donation campaigns from different individuals and families are not going to look high in numbers compared to a single campaign. Like really, sum every Gaza campaign and lets see how different those numbers are.

This take is disrespectful to all the people, from individuals to especially content creators that have made campaigns and donathons to provide food, medical aid, Sim chips, money and more to help citizens in need.

Of course, as we are all disperse, we are all aiming to different campaigns, helping different individuals or groups, is not going to be very visible for you, is not going to be that noticeable, but those numbers you see in AO3 are nothing compared to what people have been doing

And a lot of people have been trying to be surpportive, even when there are scammers lurking and attempting to take advantage of others's tragedy, Tumblr is full of bots pretending to be people from Gaza, tagging people in campaigns we don't know for sure are genuine. Receiving anonymous or from recently made accounts requests to donate or spread campaigns that again, we cannot confirm entirely if are genuine. there is people being supportive, there is people donating, others working hard or going out of their way doing freebies to help. And yet that donated money could probably have gone towards someone faking this whole time but since you don't see that number competing with the evil red site, nah, it must be we are all a bunch of [assumptions and projections].

If you really took part on this, you'll know this, you wouldn't need to be told this. Sorry to make this assumption, but sharing some links begging others to donate is not the same as actually donating and helping people

And with that said, to everyone else:

Make sure that donation campaigns can accept money without credit/debit cards, a lot of people from certain countries don't have international ones, just paypals or virtual wallets so please make sure its as accessible as possible to donate

And just to be clear, I'm POC, I have been donating money to causes since I was 17 when I started making comms, Local and internationally. I don't brag often about my good deeds because I don't have a need to look like a good person, I don't seek praise nor headpats. Because I've learned from a young age that if you give a hand there is one fucker grabing your whole arm, torso, and dragging you into falling with them as well.

I'm anti censorship, that doesn't mean I love everything that is made, but goddamn I don't go out of my way sending anonymous death threats, targeting people, harassing others or using that as an excuse to be racist, xenophobic, sexist or whatever. Because surely I received that treatment from the lovely morally superior fighters of the pure, sane and acceptable.

And please, READ this, process it, before coming to conclussions like a strawpage gimmick I received after making this post on a tweet saying "OH SO YOU THINK IS OK TO DONATE TO A ZIONIST PLATFORM JUST SAY YOU'RE RACIST" I didn't talk about it, read again where is my focus: - Learn to fucking count - Know the difference between several different targets instead of a focalized one - Make donations as accessible as possible and don't water down other people's efforts
