so my English teacher wants us to do a tumblr blog as a project…

can someone explain why in ELA after reading about space travel to mars, our English teacher starts talking about blogging, and my Cinderella boy brainrotting brain goes:

“Like tumblr?”

and she goes

“exactly! How did you know that’s what I was going for?”

and gives me a high five.

like I’m supposed to post about why or why not we as humans should continue funding space travel?! On a public forum/blog?! WITH MY OWN ACCOUNT?! FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT?!! WHERE MY HOMEROOM TEACHER AND CLASSMATES COULD EASILY FIND OUT ABOUT WHAT IVE BEEN DOING THE PAST 4-5 DAYS???!!!?!?!?!?

I know why, but I CANT cause imagine someone sees my account, scrolls down and goes “oh… so you’re a gay trans man?” (I swear I’m not🙏)

like EXCUSEEEE?? I beg your pardon?!

I mean, I guess it’s not that bad, I’ll just have to delete my bio and private any post that mentions fanfiction (almost all btw). Not for the sake of my classmates finding out though—

(I was pretty surprised when they had no clue what it was so they wouldn’t know the works of it [,tumblr] for a while)

-but for the sake of my English teacher who already thinks I write and read fanfiction.
