SPORTS! What team would the Stranger Things families root for?

Okay so firstly, the Colts only moved to Indianapolis in 1984, before they were in Baltimore. So I'm thinking since it was so recent, if you were a loyal fan of a certain team you wouldn't have switched over just like that. Which is why to me most of the Hawkins families (Wheelers, Sinclairs, Harringtons, etc) would still be rooting for the Bears.

The exception in my head is the Hendersons. I don't know, something tells me Claudia would've been so excited to have a football team in Indiana and would've been a Colts fan immediately. She doesn't particularly care enough about sports to be super loyal to a team, but she does care about supporting her state. Dustin,,, does not care at all.

Hockey is tricky because there's no official Indiana team, so I went for the Redwings for geography. The Blackhawks were also an options but we don't like terrible logos here. Redwings it is. That being said I don't think a whole lot of the families would care about ice hockey all that much considering there is no massively favoured team in Indiana, but I make an exception for the Wheelers for the sake of Nancy and hockey. Dustin I think would also enjoy hockey considering he has hockey gear.

I also think Hopper would be a Rangers guy considering he lived in New York. Idk maybe he took Sara to games that's cute. Max I would like to say the Anaheim Ducks because ducks are cool, but that's too late for Stranger Things, so I'll say the Kings instead.

Baseball, again, same problem although it seems a whole lot less mixed in Indiana compared to hockey. I think they'd root for the Cubs.

Basketball is the Pacers the end.
