We are between "Persian breakfast" and "unwrapping Christmas presents while reggaetón blasts" where the teenagers are are all sleeping in a large pile and everyone else is napping. we are doing mehndi upstairs and having tacos de lengua for dinner and speaking three different languages and everyone is telling good stories. #I was defentely trying to wash out wine stains from the carpet at 2 am tho #been there done that #now i am the weird auntie accomplice now #they're all 14-18 or so and its weird #THEY WERE SO SMALL JUST YESTERDAY #its also nice hanging out with my sisters #we three are the oldest now so firmly between parents and the teens #what a strange thing to feel the roles shift a bit #Im after my aging father to sit down and rest and we're conducing the kids for clean up
