If you’re ever thinking “man, I wish I could explain to my religious relatives that it is evil to buy up houses in order to make profit as a landlord and suck the proletariat dry”... Don’t worry, babe, Isaiah’s got your back:
Isaiah 5:8-10
Woe! Those who add house to house And join field to field, Till there is room for none but you To dwell in the land!
In my hearing [said] the ETERNAL of Armies: Surely, great houses Shall lie forlorn, Spacious and splendid ones Without occupants.
כִּ֗י עֲשֶׂ֙רֶת֙ צִמְדֵּי־כֶ֔רֶם יַעֲשׂ֖וּ בַּ֣ת אֶחָ֑ת וְזֶ֥רַע חֹ֖מֶר יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֵיפָֽה׃ {ס}
For ten acres of vineyard Shall yield just one bath, And a field sown with a ḥomer of seed Shall yield a mere ephah.

Note
because i'm in snack mode - 'meal' and/or 'dine' for the fanfic guessing game, please?
Alas! I have nothing for either of these words. I'm going to cheat a little, because I do have "dinner" once from the next chapter of Customs:
The dinner did not go quite as she would have wished – the whole of what she was thinking was beyond description, and she felt disgusted – infuriated – scraped raw –
tried, very hard, to focus on what was comprehensible: that she had been defeated on the chess board again, that she had wanted reassurance but had not the privacy to ask for it, and in consequence had sat, pressing her knee against his and praying he understood her better than she understood herself –

𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥, 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲. | Neteyam Sully
Tumblr media Tumblr media
𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 : Hi, I was wondering if you could write a Neteyamxhuman!reader where the reader takes the bullet for Neteyam, so they transport her soul to her avatar and they become really emotional upon waking up and seeing her human body, dead and they all (sully family and metkayina clan) have a funeral for her human body. Neteyam comforts her and mourns with her??
𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 : neteyam x human!reader (eventual na'vi!reader. sully family x reader, ronal x reader (platonic).
𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 : thank you @karmascale for requesting this! this was a challenge to write and i hope i did your request justice! i did a few minor tweaks just to make the story flow better. this slightly deviates from the original plot in the movie! feedback is once again, much appreciated - i love hearing ur guys thoughts! this piece is my prized posession 😭😭😭 if there's any mistakes pls lmk! reader is gn!
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 : atwow spoilers, blood, funeral, angst, mourning/grief, eventual fluff, gsw, death, detailed descriptions of pain/slipping in and out of consciousness, seizure.
𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 : 5.6k words
𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 : @odessa-is-my-queen
closely helped me through writing this so here is something to listen to if you want to get even more immersed ↷
Tumblr media
𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍'𝐓 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄. That's the only thought that had been drilled into his mind ever since your body had struggled to stay afloat after jumping off the ship.
The once crystal clear blue waters were now tainted with an angry scarlet colour. Neteyam did not know what the source of it was. His heart had sunken, missing a beat when your head had not popped out of the water to cheer with the rest of them.
"Wait, where's Y/n?" Neteyam, panted as he tried to catch his breath.
Prior to all this, he had expressed how you should have gone back to Awa'atlu. But your eyes had a fire that even he couldn't shoot down. His family by definition was yours as well. You just couldn't sit this one out, not this time.
Your struggled gasps answered his question, your head bobbing back underwater only to resurface seconds later.
"Nete, I think I've been shot." You groaned in pain, as you struggled to stay afloat.
"You are such a skxawng, Y/n!" Neteyam cried, immediately swimming over to your side as he helped hold your much smaller body up.
"Hey, that's not nice." You tried to retort jokingly, only to cough up blood right after you had finished your sentence.
You weren't supposed to be there. Your link machine was experiencing issues, Norm was fixing it. Tuk, and Kiri, had brought you out to the ocean as you waited. You've been begging to see baby Ilu's ever since the Metkayina clan allowed you, Norm, and Max to stay behind after Kiri's seizure. Now seemed like the perfect time to do so, but they couldn't have been more wrong about their decision.
When you three had seen Lo'ak rushing off to warn Payakan about the tracker. Your friends not trailing too far behind him, you all joined too. You believed Lo'aks words from before, you didn't know such brutal consequences would come from such actions.
It was you and Neteyam who fled to drop the tracker further away, only to witness in horror as your friends were trapped in a net, being lifted by Ikrans and dropped on the large ship.
Only months ago were you all held captive, but the stakes are larger than life now. You were horrified. Neteyam curated a plan, only on the ship to cut them out of their restraints. Then you'd all head back together. But Lo'ak wanted to save Spider, and a sky-person turned Na'vi was blocking your freedom back into the water.
You weren't supposed to be there. He thought he got you out there safely, how stupid of him to think that.
His amber eyes caught sight of your gunshot wound when he and Lo'ak pulled you on top of Tsireya's Ilu. His world was crumbling around him, and all he could do was apply pressure.
"It hurts!" You grunted, the pain like nothing you've ever experienced before.
"I know, I know. I'm so sorry, Y/n." Neteyam shushed you, trying to give you some comfort while calming his own worries.
His father's words began to repeat in his mind from the training lessons he used to teach his kids when they were far younger. This one focused on sky-people and the type of weapons they use. The damage it can cause.
"Son, a bullet wound is deadly - only if there is an exit wound."
How did a bullet even hit you? It should have been him. Now he felt like he was paying the price.
Neteyam cursed to himself, yaymak.
"We must bring Y/n back! They can help them there!" Lo'ak interjected, trying to get everyone's attention. He was worried for his friend who wasn't even in their Avatar body. The tensions were through the skies that gloomed down on you all.
Tsireya, clutching onto her dear friend for life - nodded hastily. Yipping at her Ilu, they made haste back to their village.
Neteyam previously thought his greatest loss was the time he missed out with you. But now there was a chance of truly losing all of you. He couldn't bare the weight that train of thought held over him.
When his parents had told them that they'd have to leave all they'd ever known. He knew you wouldn't follow in their footsteps. They didn't even have a foolproof plan. And it would be too dangerous for you, your avatar was not ready yet.
He wanted to stay, but his family needed him now - more than ever before. They wouldn't allow it anyway.
"I will wait for you, Nete." You had told him, speaking so softly. Your words were full of warmth, full of promise. You sounded so sure, and it reassured him so much. He was utterly devoted to every fiber of your being. You already encompassed his entire mind. Each decision he had been making lately that would benefit his future, always circled back to you.
If he closed his eyes he'd still remember every minor detail of that day. The day he had to say goodbye. It was gutwrenchingly beautiful.
You stood on a tree trunk, and he wanted to curse Ewya for having to make humans wear masks. Because as your tiny hands grasped his face, his fists clenched in sheer desperation to caress yours. But he couldn't, not with that damned mask in the way.
Instead he opted for tucking a stray braid behind your ear, leaning down to place a kiss on your forehead. His hands hovered over yours above his face, before grasping them. You'd never get over how they dwarfed yours, how it felt to bask in his warmth. It felt like a reminder from Ewya that you were destined to be together.
You could see the tears he was trying not to shed, and feel the way his hands were slightly shaking. His ears laid flat, tail hung low. And it felt like a punch in the gut, a harsh reminder of not knowing when he would come back here.
The fear of not knowing when you'd be in each other's presence again.
His gaze kept traveling between every feature of your face. The boy did not have any artistic ability in his bones, but he'd be utterly dumb to not remember every minute detail that he had fallen for.
This wasn't earth, there were no devices that could reach as far as they were hoping to go. No mailing system. They'd have to rely on their trust for one another this time.
With purpose, you held his chin. "I. Will. Wait. For. You." You had annunciated every word.
Determination flickered in his eyes, and his hands held onto your mask, the part that covered your cheeks. You blushed, he'd never done that before.
"I will wait for you, Y/n." He declared as his forehead met yours.
"Come on, bro!" Y/n suddenly said, wait what?
His shoulders were being shaken, and he was brought back into the harsh reality.
"Hop on!" Lo'ak tugged on his arm, as he and Spider waited for him. Neteyam swung himself onto his Ilu. They raced back to shore.
He briefly saw Ronal ushering a member of the Metkayina clan who was holding his Y/n, into a mauri.
He started to head towards them with Spider when he realised Lo'ak wasn't following. He quickly turned around and beckoned him over, only to witness him hopping back on his Ilu.
"What are you doing?" Neteyam hissed at him.
"I have to go back for Tuk and Kiri! They are still there, mum and dad as well." Lo'ak explained.
"I'm coming with you." Spider walked back over, Lo'ak wanted to argue about it - but knew they didn't have time.
He could see the conflict in his older brother's eyes.
"I got this brother. I know that doesn't feel reassuring. because I usually don't. But this is our family, I won't fuck this up." Lo'ak insisted, he didn't want to risk a slim chance of potentially losing anyone else.
"Lo'ak...-" Neteyam tried to change his younger brother's mind.
"Please, trust me. You're going to regret not being here if Y/n gets worse." Lo'ak contested, he knew he was right.
Neteyam shut his eyes, taking in a deep breath. Contemplating his choices, he knew what he had to do.
"Go, but be alert. This isn't a raid back home!" Neteyam said.
Lo'ak nodded in acknowledgment, turning his Ilu and heading back to the ship in the distance along with Spider.
When they were nothing but a speck in the distance, he quickly rushed over to the mauri he saw Y/n and Ronal enter.
He rushed in, his heart somersaulting at the sight before him. You were pale, too pale. Your chest barely rises up and comes back down. He could tell you were on the verge of losing consciousness.
"Please mother, let me ask for the humans!" Tsireya begged as she continued to try to stop the bleeding.
"Fine, go get them." Ronal allowed it, continuing to do her ritual.
Tsireya was about to get up, but Neteyam stopped her.
"I can do it." He mumbled.
He made sure his comms were on the channel that had a connection with both his parents, Norm, and Max.
"Norm, Max.-" his voice choked up.
"I don't know what you are doing right now, but Y/n is dying. I need you to come to the chief's house, now! I don't- I don't know what you need to bring but just what you can! Please!" Neteyam pleaded as he fell by your side, his fingers running through your hair.
Blood splatter was speckled on the inside of your mask, and you blinked slowly in response to his barely there touch. Gazing up at him, a pained smile graced your face.
"Neteyam, is that you?" You asked.
"It's me, I'm here," Neteyam replied, tearing up at your whimpers of pain.
"We're on our way! Eta is 3 minutes!" Norm's rushed voice sounded through his comms.
"Tell her we are here. I am here." Neytiri's voice sounded forced, holding in the emotions she was truly feeling at that present moment.
"Okay, okay. Mom is with you, she is rooting for you. You hear me, Y/n? We all are!" He hoped his words were giving you strength, he felt like anything he could potentially do wouldn't be enough. Neteyam could only pray to Eywa that his mother would be okay after what she had just heard.
Neytiri loves you like you were her own, to this day she cannot pinpoint why she held such prejudice towards Spider but not you. Maybe because his father killed her own and the fact he had destroyed her clan's sanctuary.
Your mother and father were fierce, in a sense they were seen as warriors through her eyes. Alongside Trudy, they had pioneered the revolution against Colonel Quaritch and his followers. Y/n's mother had worked side by side with Grace, while your father worked on the front lines.
Right before the battle, she had confided in Neytiri.
"I am with child. If anything ever happens to my family, please take care of her." Neytiri took this newfound information in and agreed, deep down only hoping for the best. They were some of Neytiri's and Jake's greatest allies.
But Y/n's father was killed taking a stand, and with too much sorrow in her heart. Y/n's mother carried you to full term. Only to pass away after being with you for the first three months of your life. Neytiri nurtured you alongside Neteyam. She too just like Neteyam, could only pray to Ewya that you'd be okay.
"I'm scared," you spoke so quietly that if he wasn't as close to you as he was. He wouldn't have heard you at all.
"It's okay to be scared, I've got you. You're going to be okay." Neteyam emphasised with you, trying to offer more alleviation to such a dire situation.
"We're here- fuck." Norm cursed, as Max unpacked a few things.
"Nete, I'm tired. I want to go to sleep." Drowsiness was tempting you, and the pain was beginning to fade into nothingness.
"No! You must stay awake!" Neteyam tapped on your mask, but your eyes rolled to the back of your head.
You started to seize.
Ronal and Tsireya continued to chant, as Norm turned her on her side.
"There's too much blood, Max!" Norm shouted.
It poured out like a languid waterfall, strangely just like some of the ones back in the forest. He felt the dread tugging at him, he was losing you.
He held your head to stop you from potentially hurting yourself even more when suddenly your body slumped. Your breaths come out in wheezes.
Neteyam could no longer hold back his tears, he had never felt so helpless and petrified. He wished the rest of his family was here, in a room full of people - he felt stranded.
Max clocking onto this, pitched out a thought. "I don't know if it will work, but I have an idea." He held a flashlight above Y/n's eyes as he spoke.
"What is it? We'll make it work." Neteyam insisted. He would do whatever it takes to be able to rid you of this agony.
Ronal eyed the boy, understanding his struggles. Then stared at the humans who were fumbling over Y/n's body, using foreign devices.
"You wish to transfer Y/n's soul to their avatar," Ronal replied as she listened to your heart. It was weak, but still persisting.
Max gaped at her, the Tshahik must have put two and two together.
"We cannot save Y/n from these injuries, they are fatal. That is the only way." Max further explained, not meeting Neteyam's eyes. He knew what he was suggesting was an ultimatum larger than life. But he could not see any other way, you were already advancing further in succumbing to your wounds.
"What you are asking of me is something that has only been done a few times, not once has it been performed in our clan. As the Tsahik I cannot guarantee this will be successful!" Ronal protested as she continued to tend to you however way possible.
Tsireya continued to plug Y/n's wounds, listening in, as Neteyam hesitantly let go of your hand. Moving to Ronal, he kneeled down before her.
Ronal noted one thing, the eyes she was looking into were drastically different from how she remembered them moments ago. Now it was untamed, yet persistent.
"I know my family has caused enough destruction. I know you never wanted us here in the first place. You believed we would not do our part, and I cannot fault you for thinking that way. We have learned your ways, adapted like my father did." He then motioned to you behind him.
"So will Y/n. In your eyes, sky people come from demon blood, but their parents fought on Toruk Makto's side. They made a difference, just like Y/n has started to do here. Y/n is an excellent fisher and healer. The children in this clan have warmed up to them. Because that's the effect they have on people! I swear, if you give them this second chance, they will be forever grateful. And if it doesn't go the way we wish for it to, I will not put the blame on you. The decision of whether or not she passes through the 'Eye of Eywa' only lies with our great mother." Neteyam held his chin up high, not bothering to wipe away the tears that began to stream down his face.
Ronal looked at Neteyam for a few more beats, before shifting to look at you.
"Prepare them for travel, we do not have much time before they get too weak for the transfer." Neteyam cried out in relief, thanking the great mother as he moved back over to you.
"Stay with me, just a little more Y/n," Neteyam begged, squeezing your hand encouragingly.
"I can't feel anything Neteyam, please I'm scared." You whispered to him, and he tried to put on a strong face. But he couldn't even imagine how scared you must be if he was already paralyzed with fear. All he could do was pet your head. and give you continuous kisses on your hair and forehead. Ewya, please be with us right now.
"Where are they?" Neteyam could hear his mother calling for them outside.
"In here!" He beckoned them over.
"Tsireya, get your father and gather whoever can come with us. We must leave to the Coves of the Ancestors, now." Ronal advised her child.
She quickly halted what she was doing and dashed outside of the mauri.
Neytiri's hand fell to her mouth at the sight of you, weeping as Jake whispered comforting words to her.
"Mother." Neteyam looked up at her, not knowing how to proceed from here.
"Ronal, may I bring her on my Ikran?" Neytiri in just a single moment changed face. Time was of the essence.
"Yes, you have not been where we are going. Follow along with us." Ronal commanded, gathering her things and getting ready to ride.
At this point you were slipping in and out of consciousness, but Tsireya had been able to temporarily stop the bleeding. Neytiri cradled you in her arms as she walked outside, calling for her Ikran.
The Sully family and Metkayina clan made their way to the Cove of the Ancestors. Ronal could not shake the feeling she had thought. That no matter what - they would end up holding a funeral there tonight. She dared not to voice such feelings.
Neytiri stayed leveled, flying closely side by side with Jake and Neteyam. She kept looking down at you through the short journey, checking on you. She wasn't the only one who was doing so though. Neteyam as well kept a close eye on you. Sometimes his Ikran would brush too closely to Neytiri's. She let it slide this time.
The last time Neteyam was here, you were in your Avatar body. You both had a deep love for sacred places to the Na'vi, and this one wasn't any different. Neither of you has heard of the place before, but it didn't squash the appreciation you both had for it. He recalls not just being in awe of his surroundings, but also of you. Your eyes held something remarkable, full of wonder. You'd given him one of your big grins, the one that only comes out in times like this. Your deep appreciation for monumental sites like this made him think of how your heart was just pure gold.
"You'd make a great Tsahik one day", is something he had cheekily said to you. In return you gave him a smack on the shoulder, scolding him. He harbored such great memories from that day, he loved it. He could only desire to relive that instead of all this.
The wind swooshed in her ears, but Neytiri faintly heard you say, "I like it here." She grinned down at you tearfully.
Truthfully, you don't know much about where you came from, to you - Pandora was and always will be your home. Nothing could compare to the beauty it beholds.
"Me too," Neytiri spoke wistfully.
You all were approaching the spirit tree, submerged in the ocean. It glowed like no other. The clan began to make a circle around it, linking their arms.
"Jake, we have their avatar!" Norm called from a rock not too far from the tree that they were safely able to land on. They had left before everyone else to get there ahead of time.
Jake flys down to them, retrieving your avatar.
Neytiri and Neteyam go to the same rock. They step off their Ikrans as Neytiri treats them like a feather. Your whimpers of discomfort do not go unnoticed.
Ronal and Tonawari approach them with a large leaf of sorts.
"You may place her in here," Tonowari told them.
You looked peaceful, too peaceful. You were placed in the leaf, as Ronal began to float you closer to the Spirit tree. The Sullys closely followed behind their Tsahik.
"Jake, attach their avatar to the spirit tree" Ronal ordered.
Jake nodded, placing a mask on your Avatar and activating it - an idea of Norms and Max as you would be underwater for an unknown amount of time. He connected your queue to the tree, the closest he could to the surface.
"We must put them to sleep for the ceremony to start. If you'd like to say anything to them, now is the time." Ronal gave you moments of privacy, swimming over to members of the Metkayina clan to further explain what was going on.
Neteyam couldn't remove his eyes from your Avatar that was shifted with the current of the ocean. Swaying whilst attached to the Spirit Tree, he'd never seen your Avatar look so lifeless.
Jake waved him over, "Neteyam, they are asking for you."
Tuk was crying, her head leaning against your own. You quietly spoke to one another, even while in agony - you managed to make the youngest Sully giggle.
Neteyam drew closer to you, even if you were facing away from him. Like clockwork, you felt his presence. Your head slightly turning to acknowledge him.
Tuk moved back, latching onto Lo'ak as she cried into his shoulder. The entire Sully family have given words of encouragement to Y/n, Jake especially - explaining the process and how it felt passing through "The Eye of Eywa". He could only pray you'd get that far. He was truly hoping this wouldn't be a repeat of Grace Augustine.
"This is not goodbye. When you wake up, I will be by your side the entire time. You are not alone. Oel ngati kameie." He stated, headstrong - like his father.
Neteyam wanted to wipe away your tears, he wanted to lean his head against yours without the obstruction of the mask. He realised that very soon, it could be possible. If you make it through this, that is.
"Neteyam I-I, Oel ngati kameie." You stuttered, voice cracking. That was all you can manage.
Ronal expectantly surveyed the Sullys, Neteyam nodded. It's time.
"We will now begin the consciousness transfer. Neteyam, connect them to the Spirit Tree. You may rest for the time being, Y/n." Ronal announced, everyone, witnessing their mighty Tsahik.
Your eyes fluttered shut, Neteyam looked at his family, before taking a deep breath and bringing their limp body to the Spirit tree.
His eyes widened as one of the leaves reached out, attaching itself to your back. Eywa, are you here? A comforting hand met his shoulder, his foundation. His family.
The Sullys linked their arms as Neytiri and Neteyam held onto you.
The Spirit Tree was alive, its light brightening a tenth fold. Flickering, as it seemed to react to the chanting of the clan. The Sullys could only cling onto each other more tightly as each leaf on the spirit tree lit up. It was fascinating to witness, they were just hoping it would work.
Before they knew it, the lights ceased. Ronal from above the surface halted everyone, before diving down to where you were. Tonowari, Tsireya, and Ao'nung trailed behind. They all looked to you expectantly, hoping for any sort of sign.
Gasping you awaken, struggling to catch your breath as you immediately check your surroundings. Neteyam almost choked on the water as your eyes opened, he tried to get your attention but you were too lost in your own world.
You were in the water, but how were you breathing? The mind-numbing pain was gone, and you definitely felt different. You were trying to remember and process whatever had just happened. Oh yes, the ceremony. It must have not worked, you're still wearing a mask.
By instinct your hands move to cover your face in shame, instead, you see that it's your avatar's hands. You tilt your head down, the legs, feet! It's all blue. Did it actually work?
Neteyam swan closer to your side, pointing upwards. Signing to you to swim up to the surface, you nodded. Detaching your queue, you made your way to the surface - the Sullys except Neytiri followed behind closely.
This time when your head pops out from the water, there is no bullet wound. You weren't bleeding out, you were truly Na'vi. You've miraculously been given a second chance at life.
You removed your mask as grateful tears streamed down your face. You gaped at Ronal and the Metkayina clan, "Thank you, thank you so much." You spoke to them all, signing "I see you".
When you reached Ronal, you brought her into a hug. The soon-to-be mother of a 3rd child was in shock, looking at Tonowari. The man could only grin, urging his mate to return the hug. And so, she did just that.
"Y/n!" Tuk screamed in delight as she swam over to you, you disconnected from Ronal. Mouthing "thank you again", she let a smile slip as she took in your words.
You hugged Tuk, looking at Neteyam over her shoulder. He was looking at you, differently. It was expected that he was always more attentive towards you. It felt all too similar to when he tried to remember every piece of you before parting ways. He was in disbelief.
Neytiri came up from behind Neteyam, a large leaf in her grasp as Jake helped console her.
Neteyam let Y/n lean their head on his shoulder as he squeezed you, kissing your cheek. They all realised what exactly, or who Neytiri was carrying.
Your human body.
You didn't want to look, it felt far too strange to do so. While your avatar still held features very similar to that of your human self, most of what resembled your parents felt futile. It just wasn't the same anymore, and it never would be again.
You felt grateful that you were already aware of how it felt to live amongst the Na'vi in an Avatar body. Navigating this body isn't rocket science, you've been in and out doing so these past few months.
Tsireya comes, with a handful of flowers and seashells. She delicately spreads them around in the leaf.
"In our village, we give back energy to the ocean, the sea will allow their past self to rest peacefully." Tsireya indicated to the ocean floor beneath you all that held a yellow glow.
Neytiri leans her head down, kissing your now-closed eyelids. She felt a sense of deja-vu creeping up on her. Her family follows her actions, all of them kissing your eyelids, their own unspoken version of goodbye. As Neytiri and Jake brought your human body down to the sea anemone that awaited for you, all you could think and wish for - was more time.
You didn't understand why the circumstances had to be like this. As you watched that version of yourself begin to disappear, it physically felt like a part of yourself went with it.
Y/n no longer felt naive to Pandora. They knew more than most about this beautiful luxury. Now that they'd been gifted with a body that was stronger, and more capable. They would stand with their chin held high and fight. Just like their parents had done.
Slowly everyone disperses, making their way back to Awa'atlu. Neteyam can see how drained you are, he silently beckons you to follow him. They make their way back to his Ikran, flying back home.
Everyone's asleep. You had tried to do so yourself, but you only got a good hour in before being awoken by the thoughts circling your mind. Poor Neteyam was exhausted, so it didn't take much for you to escape from his hold and make your way outside.
You let yourself sit on the shore, gazing up at the twinkling stars and endless skies. Squinting your eyes, you saw someone making their way back. Ronal.
Her cyan eyes widened seeing you, hopping off her Ilu she walked over.
"Can't sleep?" Ronal inquired at the obviously distraught child.
You shake your head, no.
Ronal sighed, "I understand, today has changed your life. It is good that you have such a strong support system."
All you could muster was a grin, "Thank you, Ronal. I know I've said that countless times today. But I don't know what convincing it took, but I will forever be in debt to you."
This time, it was Ronal who shook her head.
"I am your Tsahik, you have proven to not be useless here. But that Sully boy, he begged for me to do whatever it takes to save you. I'd like to believe Tonowari would have done the same for me if I was one of the good sky people. You are essential to Metkayina, you are one of us now."
She let her hand linger on your shoulder. Before you could get a response in, Ronal was already walking away back to her mauri.
You looked over your shoulder, she'd done the same.
Speaking it out didn't feel enough, therefore you signed it instead.
"Oel ngati kameie." She did the motion in return.
As she walked inside her mauri, someone else caught your attention.
Your Neteyam.
He darted over to you, a worrisome expression plastered on his face.
"What's wrong? Are you in pain?" He blurted out, lifting your arms to check if there were any wounds.
"I am, not physically though. Thank you for worrying about me, Nete. I am mourning what I've lost, what those demons have robbed away from me." You explained to him, your hand movements were erratic as you were still trying to come to terms with everything yourself.
Neteyam clenched his fists, before bringing you into his embrace. You leaned your head over his heart, listening to the steady rhythm. It dawns on you, you could've lost this.
Your grip tightens, truly taking him in as you bring your hands through his braids. You could've lost him.
He seemed to be coming to terms with the same realisation. You heard him sniffling as he breathed you in. You made him lean back, your thumbs following his tears as you gently brushed them away. He nuzzled his face into your hands, his body shaking as he tried to conceal the depth of his emotions.
Neteyam tried to speak, his mouth opening only to close again. You let him reign his thoughts as you continued to gently caress his defined cheekbones.
You gazed into his eyes, they were dark, lost. He seemed worlds away from you..
"I simply cannot live in a world that doesn't have you in it." Neteyam spoke through clenched teeth. Like uttering those words was a physical blow to his gut.
"Nete...-" You tried to offer words of comfort, only to be cut off.
You let him - because you understand him.
He exclaimed. "You are my home! You are my person! It should have been me, Ewya worked her miracles today. But seeing you now, compared to how you just were. I keep doubting if you are even real."
Neteyam could not meet your coaxing eyes, his hands were gripping your arms for dear life. Truth be told, when he had woken up and you weren't there? He had thought the ceremony was a sick joke he had curated to cope. His heart almost gave out when he went outside the mauri only to see you sitting in the same spot you always seemed to endeavor.
"And you are mine, I am here. I am real." You carefully removed his hands from your arms, placing one on your cheek and the other on your heart.
"The great mother has given me a second chance, all thanks to you. Do not beat yourself up for something that was out of your control. We've already lost so much time, I cannot afford to dwell on it any longer." Your words settled in his soul, making itself an oasis there. It was like a thwack to the back of his head, just like the ones you'd do when you scolded him.
You're really here. He could breathe.
You were right, it all has already happened. All you can do is move forward. That you can both do, together. As a pair, you were an unstoppable force.
His eyes that were so lost a few moments ago opened, with newfound sparks of hope. A new sense of purpose. Behind all that flickered rage, directed at the sky people. They would pay for what they've done to you if they crossed each other's paths in life again.
You beamed at him, he looks so radiant at this moment. He let you lean your head on his shoulder as he held your hands in his. He traced random patterns on yours as he looked down at them.
"Tanhi, I forget even now your hands are still smaller than mine." He smirked at you as you snarled at him.
"Shut up, skxawng!" You giggled and he could only grin in return, giving your hands a gentle kiss or two.
Between one another you talked about your favourite memories of when you were human through the rest of the eclipse. Neteyam chuckled at one he was specifically fond of as you continued to rant about it.
As his nose nuzzled into yours, your cheeks became a deeper blue hue at his actions. He couldn't be more grateful for the Great Mother and her ways. Neteyam decided to take this whole experience as the beginning of something else entirely.
Eywa has secured a lifetime with you. His father was right, his family is a fortress. He will no longer take that for granted.
Neteyam may not become the Olo'eyktan like his parents were preparing him for. But wherever either one of you went, the other always followed. He will protect that honour for as long you'll let him, and he hopes it lasts for this life and every other one that the world demands of him.

Weakened by Eywa Pt. 1
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6
Masterlist
Summary: Ao’nung finally realizes that his actions have consequences
Warnings: curse words, bullying, mental breakdown, English isn’t my first language
Author’s note: it my first Avatar writing, so I hope you like it! This idea was spontaneous and I’m not really good at writing, but I hope youll enjoy it! I’m still learning how to use Tumblr properly since I don’t really use it 🥲
Yawntutsyip - darling, little loved one
Yaymak - foolish, ignorant
Tumblr media
You thought that all these days when you flew to the water clans were the hardest in you life. Little did you know that life with Metkayina would be harder. You expected to finally live a normal life, doing your chores without being sacred to be shot by sky people. Now you’re safe, but things didn’t get better.
Since your arrival, these boys were bullying all your siblings, including you. You have no idea why it is important for Ao’nung to see totally similar to him Na’vis. You all are same avatars with slight differences that were unavoidable due to the environment you’re supposed to live in. Oh, yeah… supposed to live.
“What are you even doing here?”
“You’re so useless to our tribe”
“Go back to your monkey house”
All these words almost engraved in you mind without leaving space for other thoughts and hope. It’s been two weeks since you arrived and you still haven’t ridden an Ilu successfully, you can’t hold your breath as Metkayinas do. This makes you feel horrible and believe all these mean words.
“C’mon, Y/N, you can do it!”
Neteyam is trying to teach you how to deal with ilu and his voice is so calming, he really believes in you as an older brother. You wish you could just believe him, but insecurity lays too deep and securely in your mind.
“I don’t know… I can’t…”
Your voice was really soft and quiet as you’re the calmest child in your family. You don’t like loud sounds and fast actions. That’s just the way you are. Neytiri says that Sylwanin was just like you.
Despite being slower and more sensitive that other Sullys they loved and protected you with all their heart. Jake knew that Kiri and Tuk are different, they can deal with their problems a lot easier, while you cannot. When something bad to your family or yourself happens, you worry a lot and you won’t tell anyone about your worries unless they make you to. That was the hardest part of you character.
“Hey, are you okay? Do you need to take a break? We can continue tomorrow, don’t worry yawntutsyip.”
Neteyam was worried about your mental state, you were too quiet these days and it never meant anything good. Trying to make you speak about your feelings was completely impossible. You always think that your family has too much to worry about to burden them with your own issues. You want to be like Kiri and Tuk. That’s hilarious, Tuk is way younger than you but she’s able to deal with her emotions way easier than you.
“I’m good. Can we just take a break for like half an hour? I think my brain melts.”
You awkwardly smiled at the end trying to lighten the mood. Neteyam smiled back, feeling relief as you seemed to be just tired. He didn’t want you to hide anything from him and your family.
“Okay, yawntutsyip. I’ll go find Lo’ak and make sure his ass hadn’t get in trouble again. Kiri is on that side of the beach by the way. You can join her, she’s probably flirting with plants again. Let’s meet here in an hour.”
You laughed at his little joke about Kiri. But that’s a fact. Since you arrived here all she’s been doing is examining all local flora and fauna. You missed your time together in the forest, maybe now you’ll have a chance to talk and just be together.
“Okay!”
“Tell me if something goes wrong.”
You knew this look. The big brother look. Sometimes you think how hard it would be for you to live without your family, the way you’re connected to them something really fascinating. And one of your love signs is time. Spending time with your family and each member is the way you show love, the way you feel protected and loved.
You see Kiri laying down in water and looking for something. She didn’t see anyone around, attracted by… water? You didn’t try to understand what’s going on in her mind.
“Hey, pandora geek.”
You stood in front of Kiri and the shadow from your body covered her. Only after that she raised her head and squinted at you.
“I thought you’re with Neteyam. What’s wrong?” She sat on the sand, water was covering her legs a little. You did the same thing, hugging your knees and placing your head on them.
“We took a break, my brain doesn’t work properly. I still can’t ride ilu.”
Hopeless sigh made your sister chuckle, but then she saw your eyes. They were full of sadness, you were not happy. Kiri felt guilt, as your sister she had to be with you, she forgot that Sullys stick together.
“What bothers you?” You were not sure if it’ll be okay to tell her everything. But you family always encourage you to speak what lays in your heart, so you decided to do it.
“There’s a lot… I miss home, I miss flying with you, Neteyam and Lo’ak around Hallelujah mountains.” You were vulnerable now and this is one of those rare moments when you opened your feelings easily. Kiri was the only one you did it with. You could feel tears coming to your eyes, you needed this. “I just miss our way of life. I don’t know why it’s so hard for me to get used to it. Especially, when you always hear…”
“Hey monkeys! Still can’t ride ilu? How can you be so yaymak? You’re both freaks!” you could recognize this voice in millions. “One sister has demon blood, another is too dumb to do things that even infants can do!”
Ao’nung and his friends were coming towards you. Kiri’s body immediately tensed, you could feel it.
“What do you want? Is there nothing to do?”
Ao’nung and his friends came closer and you both stood up. Kiri was looking at him angrily, ready to fight. You were supposed to have such a good conversation, opening each other your soul, but this bully spoiled everything.
“My goal for now is to get rid of such fake Na’vis like you two and your stupid little brother.”
You were furious, how dare he talk like this about your family. Yes, he did say mean things to you, but he still picked his words. Now it’s too much. Nobody can talk about your family this way.
“Shut up and don’t get close to me and my siblings!” You tried to get into protective sister mode. Kiri was shocked by the way you raised your voice. She’s never heard such tone from you before.
“Look at this! Little girl knows how to talk?” Ao’nung was teasing you and laughing with Roxto and the rest of his friends. “Maybe you’ll learn how to swim properly soon by the time my future brother or sister will turn 10. Hopefully.”
You clenched your fists, trying to hold all your emotions. Anger, offense, sadness. It felt like a hurricane of extremely high spectrum of emotions, which was hard for you to bear.
“Don’t you dare…”
You didn’t control yourself that you were coming closer and pushing him. The reason why you felt this way was in him.
He did this to you.
You didn’t care that he was taller than you and all you faced was his shoulders. You didn’t care that he barely moved as you tried to hurt him as much as he hurt you. All he did was laughing. It seemed like Ao’nung didn’t understand anything you said, like he didn’t see you breaking into pieces right in front of you.
“Calm down, you little skxawng!” It was a joke for him. For you it was your last piece of composure.
“You’re dumb! So dumb that you can’t even understand how much pain you give me! Every day I wish I don’t meet you so you won’t shower me with all your shit! Every night I cry myself to sleep because all your mean words you’ve said hurt me! And you don’t understand me, how can you be so mean?”
You were screaming at him and trying to hit, mental breakdown took over your senses. You could physically feel how your heart hurts and legs weaken. All sounds were heard as if from under the water, you didn’t see what’s going on around you. Someone’s holding your shoulders and pushing you to their chest to not let you fall on your knees.
“Don’t touch her!”
Furious voice sounded from afar. Neteyam. Your brother who always protects you, surrounds you with love you need. That’s why he calls you yawntutsyip. Little loved one.
You could feel your brother as he came closer to you. His steps were as heavy as his mood. When he saw you breaking down in front of this asshole and because of this asshole, he almost lost his temper. The way chief’s son was holding and looking at you, finally realizing that his actions have consequences. He had to drive you crazy to understand it.
“Back off! Now!”
He pushed Ao’nung as he got closer to him, taking off his hands off you. You didn’t realize it was him, who held you all this time. Was it long? Actually, everything happened in less than 2 minutes, but for you it was like an infinity.
“What happened?”
Lo’ak was here, he saw you crying in Kiri’s hands and Neteyam fighting with Ao’nung and his friends. He didn’t need to check on all details to punch Roxto and other guys.
“It’s fine, we’re here. Don’t worry.” Kiri was sitting with you and slowly swaying, while tapping your head to calm you down.
“I’m sorry, I…” that’s all you could say.
Neither you nor Kiri noticed how the fight stopped until Neteyam came closer and examined you. His eyebrow was cut so as his lower lip, but he didn’t care. Now he could feel only your pain.
“Yawntutsyip… my sister.”
“I’m sorry, Neteyam. I didn’t…” You were gasping for breath from crying, not being able to collect your thoughts.
“Shhh, that’s fine, you’re fine. We’re here, nobody will hurt you again.” Kiri gave you to Neteyam, he was calming you down repeating the same moves as Kiri did. You were crying, letting all pain, that was suppressed inside of your soul, to flow through you.
Your siblings knew that you need to feel it to let it go. That is the only way for relief.
“Let’s go home, yawntutsyip?” Neteyam’s voice was calming as always, he hated seeing you crying.
You just nodded in agreement, hiding your face in brother’s neck and holding him as if someone can take you from him in any moment.
Yes, most Na’vis are brave, ready to fight and protect their beloved ones. But you just can’t do it. You are the one who needs to be protected. Eywa created you that way and you can do nothing about it.
“Don’t ever come to our sisters, you little bitch! Are you so insecure that you’re afraid to battle with me and choose those who are weaker than you?” Lo’ak didn’t miss to say the last goodbye before following after all of you. He didn’t wait for the answer, he didn’t need it.
Ao’nung was standing up there and looking as your figures disappear. No words are in his mind, except for one.
“Fuck”
————————————————————————
I hope you liked it! I’m not sure if I’ll write the second part🫣 I have an idea but idk if it’s worth it, we’ll see!

forest boy
aged up! neteyam sully x fem metkayina! reader
summary: neteyam caught your eye from the second his family came to your village, awa’atlu. as the two of you grow closer you can’t help but become more curious about the forest boy
warnings: fluff, angst, kissing, cussing, a bit suggestive, our man being sad (on eywa imma fuck somebody up), not so daddy jake being annoying, neteyam being silly
Tumblr media
it was past eclipse on awa’atlu. families were cleaning up after having dinner and preparing little ones for bed. there was a cool night breeze in the air. as the night grew darker while the bioluminescence grew brighter there wasn’t nothing keeping the two of you apart
from the second your eyes landed on neteyam sully, you knew you were in for it. there was something about his cold stare as he eyed your people after landing on his now what you know is called an ‘ikran’
it lit up something inside of you. you observed the family from a distance along side your friends tsireya, roxto and unfortunately ao’nung. you remember being very curious about the darker na’vi but nonetheless welcoming
during the first weeks of the sully family’s arrival you tried your best to get them as comfortable as possible. swimming with kiri as she oddly had a bond with your native creatures, feeding the ilus with tuk and having talks with lo’ak on how it’s okay to be different
you felt like you knew them forever. they were like siblings to you and you started to grow an immense love for them as the months went on. however, there was one person who you weren’t as close with…
the boy you admired from the second he first got here. neteyam. you weren’t sure if he wasn’t fond of the water or it was just you but you had a feeling he didn’t wanna be on your island
so as much as it pained you since you wanted to get to know him, you decided it was best to keep a distance, until tonight.
“how is that my fault?” you heard a voice angrily shout in the distance
“because you’re the older brother neteyam!” another masculine voice shouted
it didn’t take you long to recognize those voices, mostly because you decided to be nosy and peep from the rock you were sitting on
it was jake and neteyam… arguing?
“so just because he can’t listen to a single thing anyone says the blame is on me huh?” neteyam argued against his father
from the rare times you ever heard neteyam speak it was safe to say he was never this angry
“maybe if you kept an eye on him like me and your mother have asked we wouldn’t even be in this damn situation!” jake raised his voice while eyeing down his son
that’s when neteyam finally snapped
“WELL IM NOT HIS FUCKING PARENT! I WASN’T THE ONE WHO LAID DOWN AND MADE HIM. WHY CAN’T YOU LOOK AFTER HIM FOR ONCE?”
everyone was gagged to say the least…
you can just tell by the look on his father and the rest of his family’s face that this wasn’t like him
you observed all of their reactions. jake was shocked along with neytiri at her son’s sudden outburst, his sisters looked sympathetic knowing the stuff their eldest brother goes through isn’t fair and lo’ak looked guilty
“you’re grounded” was all jake had to say. he didn’t even know how to react so he decided to say the first thing that popped up in his mind
but before he even went on to justify his decision neteyam walked off. he was genuinely so tired of his father’s shit that he walked off ass far as possible. he ignored his parents protests and didn’t even care to think about future consequences
you, still watching from afar noticed him going into what your tribe considered a little forest. there was plenty of trees and plants where delicious fruit grew for your people
you had a mental debate with yourself on what to do. you were still peeping from a rock and if anyone looked hard enough they would notice and consider you one of the biggest creeps on pandora.
so you did what a normal person who knew how to mind their business wouldn’t do, you followed him
you as nonchalantly as possible walked after neteyam. keeping a distance of course because the two of you were still technically strangers and from the last time you checked he was pissed the fuck off
all neteyam kept repeating in his head was “it’s not fair, it’s not fair, it’s not fucking fair” how is it that he got the blame for his little brother’s dumb ass decisions? ‘such a skxawng’ he thought
neteyam walked out as far as possible. he wanted to be as far as possible away from everyone. he seriously just wanted time to himself
until some fish bitch made her presence awkwardly known aka you
while you were walking, you took in your surroundings of the little forest. you had never been here before. you were metkayina, it’s simply not something you did often
the only people you knew of who went here were the hunters who gathered fruits for the clan. it was actually kind of forbidden for the average na’vi to come here which is why you never been
it wasn’t needed and your place amongst your people was in the water and on the sand
which is another reason you were drawn to neteyam. he came from a completely different world miles and miles away. all those nights you were in the water, he was in the wind. all those days you were on the sand, he was walking through trees
you couldn’t help but be intrigued. maybe you got too ahead of yourself though when you noticed neteyam basically speeding away and as you tried to match his steps you fell with an obnoxiously loud yelp
embarassing…
you practically ate shit and you felt pain shoot through your legs. you coughed out the dirt that flew into your mouth and gasped for air as it was knocked out from your lungs when you fell
“are you alright?” a deep soothing voice rang through your ears
‘eywa take me away from my misery’ you thought as your head made its way against the ground as u attempted to hide your unwanted presence
there was a laugh that made your heart feel like it was racing a thousand tulkuns “damn girl, that’s how you feel huh?”
there was a pause and then a sudden thump on the ground next to you. you opened your eyes a bit to be met with those yellow ones you always found yourself getting lost in
you didn’t know if he was trying to be funny or if he was being genuine. the two of you were laying face first on the ground while looking at each other
the immense eye contact you two had going on was getting too serious for you and you couldn’t help but laugh. soon after, neteyam joined in on your laughing and it lasted for what felt like forever
it eventually died down and you two rolled over to look up at those sparkling dots so far away in the sky you were always curious about
it was almost as if neteyam read your mind because he spoke up “those are called stars”
“how do you know that?”
“growing up my dad told us stories and explained how he came from one. that one right there” he pointed to a star that seemed to look a bit larger than the others “that’s where sky people live”
you were amazed “wow, those are beautiful”
you were too intrigued with the ‘stars’ as neteyam called them that you didn’t even notice him staring at you. he was admiring the side of your face
“so beautiful” he mumbled
you just shook your head in agreement still in your own little world thinking he was still talking about the stars
you were caught out of your trance when neteyam suddenly stood up to his full height and wiped the dirt off of him. you sat up too and started picking grass out of your hair
he was much taller than you thought. even while sitting since you had never even been this close to him before. now you weren’t too familiar with size kinks but eywa forbid you just gained one…
“here” he reaches his hand out for you to grab
“thank you” you gladly accepted his hand and gave him a small smile
he returned the smile as he quietly watched you fix yourself up. you had dirt all over you and he couldn’t help but try not to laugh as he imagined how you even got here in the first place
while you finished fixing your appearance your heart dropped to your teal ass as neteyam spoke
“so why were you following me?”
“what?”
“you heard me”
you were more than embarrassed. you felt as if eywa truly loved all of her children and wanting nothing but happiness for each and every one of you, she would snatch you up right now
“look i can explain” you stuttered
he nodded before licking his lips and crossing his arms while staring at you waiting for your next words
you started to play with your hair which is something you did when you got nervous “you see, it’s really not what it looks like”
he hummed and waited for you to continue
“so basically what happened was, i was on the beach and then an evil witch came out of nowhere. she looked like she was attacked by seaweed because she was covered in it. a disaster right? so then she used her evil witch powers and dragged me all the way out here after you to try and lure us into her cult” you explained
by the look on neteyam’s face you knew he was buying that shit
he chuckled “an evil witch huh?”
you giggled “yes! eywa forgive me but she wasn’t the best looking either.. truly a nightmare”
“you know, im glad we were able to escape this evil witch. that would be such a horrible way to go out” he dramatically sighed
“exactly, and imagine how our parents would feel! it would be a really really sad story and children wouldn’t be able to sleep at night” you playfully wiped an imaginary tear from your eye
he couldn’t help but laugh at the ridiculous story you just came up with. he knew you followed him but chose to ignore it because your sense of humor had just made him forget why he even came out here in the first place
dare he say this was meant to be..
your heartwarming laugh filled his ears as your face reddened a bit. the embarrassment was still there but him flowing along with your story made it less painful
you spoke shyly with a smile “im y/n”
he smiled “yeah i know”
your eyes widened slightly. he knew you? what the flip! this couldn’t be real
“you do?” you titled your head
“my siblings metioned you, specifically my sisters. the pretty girl who’s always nice to them” he shook his head laughing
you blushed hearing those words come out of his mouth when describing you
“they forgot to mention you were a stalker though” he side eyed you
“alright not too much” you held your hand up
the two of you laughed and eventually started to walk deeper into the little forest. you could’ve sworn from then on it was a dream
the night consisted of more laughing, deep conversations, shitting on sky people, conspiracy theories and daydreaming about the forest neteyam missed dearly
“do you think about your home?”
“every single day”
you smiled at him. the two of you found your way to this secluded beach not too far from the little forest and have been sitting here for the past few hours engaging in each other’s presence
“i wish we would’ve never left” his voice sounded like it cracked a bit
you having the comforting instinct you did slightly rubbed his back. it was safe to say that the two of you had built a bond in the last couple of hours so this was much appreciated by neteyam
“im sorry you had to leave your home neteyam. thats truly awful, hopefully one day you’re able to go back. be with your people and fulfill your destiny, you will always be welcomed here if you ever wanna come back” you gave him a soft smile as he turned to look at you
his pupils dilated as he looked at you. he would be lying to himself if he said you weren’t the most beautiful girl he has ever seen, and he swore by that
you laughed at his reaction “you know, i could’ve sworn you hated me”
“really? what made you think that?”
“because you were never around whenever i did activities with your siblings and just simply avoided me”
“oh, well that’s because you made me nervous” his cheeks became a deep purple and he looked away
you gasped “no way! i made the one and only mighty warrior nervous? im truly honored”
he laughed at your teasing and watched as you dramatically flipped your hair
you looked back at him with a smile as there was a comfortable silence forming between you two
“you’re beautiful y/n, you know that right?” his voice suddenly became raspy as he looked between your eyes and lips
you felt your entire heat up at his words
“im talking to you” his hand made its way to your knee as he turned his body
“i don’t know maybe you should show me how beautiful i am” you shrugged your shoulders
he smirked “don’t start something you can’t finish”
“would it be starting something i can’t finish or you wouldn’t be able to make me finish?” you challenged
he licked his lips and tucked his bottom lip between his teeth while holding eye contact with you
“i can make you finish, trust” his hand trailed up your thigh
you smiled and whispered “prove it”
his heart picked up at your words before he made the rational decision of crashing his lips onto yours
your lips moved in sync perfectly. his hand slowly made its way onto your hip as you gripped onto the side of his neck for dear life. kissing neteyam was like breathing in fresh air. it was like tasting the sweetest fruit on the planet. it was like ascending to the great mother herself
it was everything you ever wanted
unfortunately there’s this thing called breathing that requires you to live and you two had to pull away to do that
neteyam was the first to speak up and gasping for air “i could do that forever”
you smiled “me too”
the both of your hands made its way to eavh other to hold as your foreheads were pressed together
“thank you” he breathed out
you bit your lip in confusion “for what”
“being an escape, letting me forget about all the fucked up shit that just happened” you could feel his body tense up from just thinking about the events from earlier
you smiled and shook your head “you don’t have to thank me for that, i’ll always be here”
“fuck can you get anymore perfect?” he huffed
you laughed as you wrapped your arms around his neck and dragged your legs across his lap
he gladly held onto you and he looked up at like with so much love and lust it was starting to feel like his eyes were gonna explode from the overwhelming feeling
he smirked at the new position “you just wanna be all over me huh?”
you playfully rolled your eyes before pushing him onto the sand and connecting your lips again “shut up”

Neteyam - Reacting to your death
Hey y'all, how y'all doing 😟? It's been a year since I published something but I am in my avatar era. I will post an announcement about where I've been, but enjoy(?) this heavy angsty.
Summary —> You're on your last breath, and Neteyam has a hard time accepting it.
Pairing: neteyamsully x !reader (no use of y/n)
Word count: 1024
Warnings: blood/angst/mentions of a g*n/sad neteyam
DON’T REPOST MY WORK
Tumblr media
Sharp pain was all you could feel when you jumped down the ship. It was that short moment of pushing Neteyam before you to minimize exposure that the realization hit you; you followed after him without thinking twice about the consequences, yet again.
Your ears rang in the otherwise silent ocean, like the water completely separated itself from the unnatural, unnecessary and foreign violence happening in the surface. A sigh of relief, contentment, serenity, until you're resurfucing again - or rather, struggling to.
"Fuck," you sputter, feeling a strange loss.
Lo'ak shouts after you to hurry up, but you can't, and it frustrates you. You hate falling behind, no matter how dire the injury is. "You sxkawng," gasping and trying to hold onto something, crimson surrounds you. "I'm shot."
Everyone stills.
Neteyam's head whips around with nothing but pure, unadulterated horror. His eyes fall on your pained face, then the bullet wound on your chest. You can see dark shadows casting over his face, the tremor of his hands, the slowing of his breath - all working together to keep his gears turning you assume. He quickly swims forward. "Quick, the Ilu."
You feel yourself being held around your body - suddenly, warmth feels like an unfamiliar concept. When had you become so cold to the outside world? When had you closed yourself off that warmth was foreign?
Though in odd, you fashion, you're not panicking. You're just lying there, gazing at the sky and letting chaos erupt around you. Sounds are muffled, and you don't know what's happening but you can only assume they're taking you to land.
The sky looks uncharacteristically blue - against all odds you've found yourself in. Eywa is in mourning.
Maybe it's because you cannot fathom that you, your own life, cannot end. You feared losing loved ones, but never feared nor thought about dying. It's not like you were immortal of course, one day you were going to leave the physical world and join the all mother amongst your family.
You just didn't think it would happen this soon. And you still think against it - you think against it when Mr Sully lays you down on cold rock, when he turns you over to inspect something, and when he looks at you with a faraway look.
"Dad," Neteyam chokes out.
Everything hurts and you start struggling to breath. Light headed, that's when you stop thinking  all together.
"Am I-" you gasp for air, surprised that you, out of all people, is struggling to speak. You were quite chatty, at least that's what they told you. "Am I, dying?"
"No!" yells Neteyam, he's cupping your head with his palm, not letting your head touch the cold surface. "You're not dying, ____!"
He's sobbing, and you look around the faces of the people you consider loved ones. Lo'ak is wide  eyed, staring at your probably paled face. He looks in utter agony and...confusion? Mr. Sully is crying, this is the first time you have seen him cry - be so vulnerable. He was Toruk Makto, so he'd always dismiss you with a nod, sometimes crack a joke here and there but stay stern all the while. He was clutching your hand, his own shaking. Kiri was just now arriving at the little land formation, and the look of her horror on her face brings tears to your eyes. You were dying - no. You were dead, it was final.
You try to calm your breathing, an obscene contrast to the gushing blood on your chest. You couldn't speak, but you could feel. And you were feeling the love of the people around you - and with the intensity of it, you deemed it a worthy way to go.
Neteyam however, was cluthing on your hand, hard. "You are not leaving me ____....Dad!" he sobs, a wretched sound breaking through his chest as he doubles over your body and shudders. "Do something!"
He's yelling, screeching even. His dad looks in anguish at his son's state, or perhaps because he feels utterly helpless at saving you.
"It's okay, Neteyam." you say softly, in a very wispy voice; "You're going to be okay."
You smile, and he screams, trashing and hugging your body to his chest. You try to push him away, but to no avail. Your limbs have fallen weak, you have already accepted the pain. "No!" he screams again, chest reverbeting against your deflating form.
"No, no, no, no!"
Mr Sully grabs ahold of his son and softly pulls him back, seperating him from you, "Son, please," his voice sounds broken.
Lo'ak is silent beside you, head held down, shuddering. Warm droplets are hitting your arm, and you can only guess it's tears. Kiri is on her knees, begging To Great Mother.
But you know it's final. And you don't feel too sad about it. You'd get to be with your parents, and Eywa, and all that. You'd be happy, you know you would be.
"____! No, I have to tell-" Neteyam gasps, trashing in his fathers hold. "I love you, I see you. Please,"
You're eyes have finally glazed over, you're gone.
You hadn't heard, and that only breaks Neteyam more. He screams in agony, clawing at your body, shaking you so, somehow, miraculously, you would open your eyes, tell him you love him and that you wan't to spend the rest of your life with him.
But there is no, "rest”. This was it for you, this was your life. When you had told him that you wanted to spend your life exploring Pandora, this was the extent. You would never have that, you will never be able to fulfill your dream because this day was the entirety of your future and present.
Neteyam is helpless. He had somehow escaped his fathers hold and was hugging your lifeless body close to his. Shrieks were ripping from his throat, desperately trying to transfer some sort of energy into your limbs. He could feel his mother's warmth surround him, a weak force pulling him back. "Please, don't. Let me hold her."
He sounded so broken, empty, purposeless that his mother and father break down as well.

Help pt.2
(part 1 here)
Tumblr media
Neteyam(22) x Na'vi!reader(22)
Warnings- pregnancy, childbirth, water birth, bruises, PTS
-
Neteyam wasn't banished from the clan, he wasn't made an outsider. But he was sent away, told to clear his head. He made himself a place out on the reefs,
You were okay, and so was the baby. Your neck was bruised, it hurt every time you swallowed for some time. You now also wore a thick neckpiece that hid the bruise, the stares got to be too much.
You tried to visit Neteyam or tried to convince the Tshaik and Ole' ekytan to let him back in, but neither worked. Tuk stuck by your side since then, she was utterly traumatized.
"Please Jake he needs to know I'm okay." It felt like the tenth time that day alone you've asked Jake. He snapped at you.
"I will say it again, Neteyam needs to know the consequences of his actions."
"But it wasn't him that night." You grabbed his arm. "It was like something took over, he needs help and nobody will give it to him. Jake sighed and punched his nose.
"Fine, what help do you think he needs."
"Your friend, Norm."
-
Norm and Max arrived in only a few days by their helicopter. They greeted Jake happily, but when Jake started getting serious, so did they. You did not understand what they were saying.
"Y/n," Norm says in his butchered na'vi. "Would you like us to check you over?"
"No no, you must worry about Neteyam, not me." You grab his arms and ears flatten against your head. "Help him."
"Ok Ok." He placed a hand on your shoulder. "I am going to talk to him."
"Let me go with you."
"No Y/n," Jake interjected.
"Please I have not seen my mate in almost two weeks." Norm sighs and eyes Jake.
"You can't come, but I will give him a message." You nodded
"Okay, please tell him that it wasn't his fault, we miss him." You place a hand on your growing belly. "That I see him, always, no matter what."
Jake took Norm on his skimwing to the reefs where Neteyam was. You waited for hours for them to return and when they did it was almost dark.
"Do you know what it is?"
"You should sit." Your heart started racing and Jake grabbed your hand, helping you to the floor. "Is it life-threatening?" You're eyes start to water at the thought.
"No No, uh he has PTS." Your head cocked to the side in confusion. "His trauma can affect his daily life, mood swings, sometimes they are brought back to the origin, and its possible they can become aggressive... like he did that night." You swallowed and slowly raised a hand to your neck.
"How can we help him?" Jake mumbled something and shook his head.
“For now it's getting him to talk with someone he trusts, and that person is you. Then we try another way.”
"Yes! I will leave now." You say and call your Ilu.
"I should go with you." Says Jake and you shake your head.
"No, I want to be alone with my husband." You dove into the water and attached to the Ilu.
-
You popped out of the water and looked around for Neteyam. You spotted him in the distance bow pulled back and pointing towards the water. You stepped onto the rocks and walked towards him.
"Neteyam!" His head shot towards you, and at the sight, his tail dropped and ears flattened.
"Y/n!?"  He dropped his bow and stared in awe. "You should not be here." He held his hand up to stop you from getting closer.
"Ma Teyam I miss you." He shakes his head.
"How can you after what I did?" His head hung low.
"It wasn't your fault." You were now in front of him and he started back up.
"Yes, it was." You reached out and grabbed his hand.
"You just need help and I am going to help you." He started to blink furiously, trying to suppress the tears.
"H-How?"
"Talk, we are just going to talk." You place your unoccupied hand on his chest, right over his heart which was beating quickly. You slowly sat down and crossed your legs. "Lay down."
Neteyam was hesitating, fear creeping up inside him. He slowly went down to his knees and sat there in silence, staring down at his lap.
You frowned but gasped at the flutter in your belly. Neteyam opened his eyes wide in confusion and worry.
"It seems our bub missed you too." You gently grabbed his rest and pulled it towards your stomach, making his hand flatten against it. It wasn't long before he felt a push against his hand, and then another, and then one that was harder. Neteyam sucked in a shaky breath and scooted closer to cradle your stomach with both hands.
"I-I." He sobbed and bent down his head to rest his forehead on your belly. "I'm so sorry I almost killed you both." He kissed your belly. "I don't know what happened you have to believe me." He looked up at you pleadingly.
"I believe you." You cradled his face and he instantly melted. "T-Tell me how it started, that night." He nodded and sniffed, he then slowly turned around and laid on his side. Head resting on your thigh.
"I couldn't sleep." You threaded your hands into his braids. "The storm was happening, stuff was flying and hitting around. One just hit very loud and all of a sudden I was under a soldier, he was choking me." He caressed your thigh. "Then I felt my chest burn, just like when the bullet hit me."
You stopped your hand movements, instantly remembering all those years ago when Neteyam was shot and on the brink of death.
"I threw the guy off of me and that's when... that's when I was-." Tears ran down his cheeks. "Mama's im so sorry." He squeezed his eyes tightly together and he was almost shaking.
"Look at me." You say and slowly lift his head. His eyes opened up to you, yellow eyes teared up. "We're going to get through this, I know it." He went back up to his knees and pressed his nose into your chest. He placed his hands on either side of your hips.
"Can I kiss you?" You giggled and rolled your eyes playfully.
"Of course, you can." Neteyam slammed his lips against yours. You instantly kissed back, he pushed his tongue against your lips and you didn't even fight it and let him take over. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him down on top of you, laying flat on the ground. He placed his knees on either side of your hips and deepened the kiss. You started to lift a leg to wrap around him but he stops.
"I can't, not yet." He looked away from your eyes but gently kissed your collarbones.
“It's my fault I tried to start it, I'm sorry.”
“No, you don’t apologize for that. Ever.” He pecked your lips and pulled back, faces still close. You could now see the details on his face. He looked exhausted.”
“Neteyam when was the last time you slept?”
-
Neteyam fell asleep in your arms to the sound of you humming his song cord. He looked so peaceful and relaxed. You wanted to take in the sight as much as possible but you were starting to go hungry. You started to slide Neteyam off of you when you heard the chittering of a skimwing. You looked over to see Jake riding in, he stepped onto the rocks and did a slight jog toward you. He looked at Neteyam and then at you.
“How is everything?” He asks and you smile.
“We talked now he’s sleeping. Jake?”
“Yeah, kid?”
“I think we should being Neteysm back to the village.”
“We’d have to talk to Ronal and Tonowari.”
“His time here is over, it will be good for him to be around others, around his family.” Jake thought for a minute before nodding.
“Fine, but we leave now.” You nod and start to shake Neteyam awake.
“Ma Teyam wake up.” You say and his nose scrunches before his eyes flutter open. He sees someone standing there and instantly jumps up, ready to defend you.
“Oh… dad?” He stands up straight.
“We’re going back, all of us,” Jake says staring at his son. You start to stand up and Neteyam helps you.
“What if it happens again?”
“Don’t think about it Ma Teyam.” You kissed his shoulder.
“I’ll be watching,” Jake says sternly and walks to the ocean where his ride waited. Neteyam called his skimwing and greeted her.
“Are you going to ride with me or my dad or your ilu?”
“With you of course.”
-
You led Neteyam to his parent's pod.
“Your mother misses you, and so do Kiri and Lo’ak.” You say and Neteyam looks around. The people around you kept looking at him in disgust.
“What about Tuk?” You stopped and sighed.
“She wouldn’t leave my side for a while, she was really scared.”
“Of me?” You look back at him.
“Of the whole situation.”
You stepped into the pod. Neytiri was braiding Tuk’s hair not aware of your presence.
“Neytiri.” You say and she looks up and smiles.
“Y/n, how are you?”
“I am well um.” You side-eye Neteyam who hid behind the walls. You tugged him forward to make him known.
“Neteyam?” She asks and stops, Tuk looks and her eyes widen.
“Mother, Tuk.” He says then looks to the floor. Neytiri swallows before standing up and walking to her son.
“Oh, my son.” She pulled him down slightly to her height and kissed the side of his head. “I have missed your presence.” Neteyam pushed his head into the crook of her neck and wrapped his arms around her.
“I missed you too.” They pulled away and Neteyam steppes passed her and towards Tuk. “Hey Tuk.” She looked up at her brother and crossed her arms.
“I’ll be at dinner.” She says and walks past him and outside the pod. Neteyams shoulders dropped and he groaned.
“Neteyam.” You place a hand on his shoulder blade. “It will be fine she’ll come around.” Neteyam shook his head and whipped around.
“You shouldn’t have brought me back.” He says and walks away.
-
Neteyam sat far away from the people in the sand. He couldn’t be himself to grab any food, he hated the stares too much. He watched you talk to his sister, eating a piece of fish. He hated what he said to you, you were trying to help him.
You see Neteyam sitting by himself, with no food or anything. You excuse yourself from Kiri and go grab another plate of food. You walk up the small hill and smile slightly and Neteyam.
“You have yet to eat.” You say and sit down, then handed the plate to him.
“Thank you.” He dug in immediately, hunger overtaking his senses making you smile. “I'm sorry for saying what I said.”
“Don’t worry about it.” He didn’t respond just kept eating.
You sat there in comfortable silence even after you both finished eating. His tail kept brushing against yours until you wrapped them up tightly. Something you did when you were younger.
Neteyam watched the flaming lights of the torches. They were so bright and the smoke they were causing almost looked suffocating. He hadn’t even realized how quick his breathing had gotten… but you did.
“Neteyam.” You grabbed his shoulders. “You’re okay.” Someone screamed in the distance and his head shot towards the sound and he stood up. You followed him up and grabbed his face. Tears started to run down his cheeks.
“Not safe.” He whispered
“You’re safe.” You say and try to pull him in a hug but he was holding back.
“You’re. Not. Safe. I’m. Not. Safe.” He says through gritted teeth.
“You're safe my love everything okay. You won’t hurt me.” You wrapped your arms around his neck. “It’s okay.”
He whimpered and his whole body shook.
“Y/n?” You turned slightly to see Tuk standing there in concern. “Is Neteyam okay?”
“Just stay there Tuk.” You say and start to hum his song cord.
Tuk frowned but slowly started to make her way to you two. She reached out and grabbed one of Neteyams fisted hands and pried it open. She held it and wrapped an arm around his torso, followed by her joining in your humming.
Kiri and Lo’ak searched for Tuk she had been running off lately which worried everyone at times.
“Where is she?” Asks Kiri as they stand in the middle of the dancing Na’vi. Lo’ak shrugged and looked around before three dark blue na’vu caught his eye.
“There.” He nudged his sister and pointed up the hill.
“Should we go up there?” Asks Kiri, unaware of their parents coming up from behind.
“No, they need this,” Neytiri says and they all watch.
Neteyam slowly started to come back. His vision was blurry so he wiped his eyes. But he then slowly wrapped an arm around your torso and looked down at Tuk and hugged her as well.
“Thank you.”
-
It took time but Neteyam was healing. All the support from his family and friends helped. Even the people tried to help once they understood what was happening.
He still had yet to forgive himself for that night. He’s not sure he ever will but the new fresh start he was about to go through will start that process.
“Argh.” You groaned and slapped a hand in the water.
“You must push Y/n.” Instructed Ronal as she was kneeling in the water.
“So much.” You groaned and through your head back against Neteyam.
“You can do it.” He kissed your neck, healed neck now. You grabbed his arms and rested almost all your weight on him. You screamed in agony as you pushed again for the final time. You felt the baby slip out of you and let out a breath of relief. Ronal lifted the baby from the water and the cries of the baby filled the room.
Tears of joy start running down your cheeks. Ronal placed the babe in your arms.
“You did so well Ma Y/n,” Neteyam says and kisses the top of your head.
“It is a boy.” She says and walks out of the pool of water. You look down and start to coo.
“Hello.” You say and brush your finger along the newborn cheek. His crying eyes fluttered open, and at the sight of his parents, he calmed down. You smiled and kissed his soft wrinkly forehead.
“Hey, bub,” Neteyam said and held his finger out. The baby instantly grabbed it tightly.
“Hold him Neteyam.” You start to twist your body around, just enough so Neteyam could grab the baby. But he hesitated, watching his son squirm and let out small adorable whimpers made him think of when he almost killed him. “It’s okay, you won't hurt him.” The smile you gave him was reassuring enough. You passed him to your mate and moved to the other side of the healing pool to get a better look.
“Uäza.” He says and feels the small skinny tale wrap loosely around his arm. “That is the name of our son.”
“I love it.”
“Hear that? Mama loves your name. We love you and we are always going to take care of you. I will never hurt you or your mother again my son.”

This could be considered a Darkfic read at your own media consumption, you have been warned.
[ 1st Person POV ]
I woke up feeling dizzy, the hurting in my head being strong. Memories of the night before came flooding my mind. How I tried to escape them and how they found me on the sea that surrounded our homes. How Ronal tied me up and in an attempt of escaping I fell from her ilu and I hit my head with some of the subaquatic structures and I passed out.
Now I was still tied, my wrists and my ankles arching from the strong rope. “Ah you are finally awake” Tonowari’s husky voice startled me. “I was so concerned my cute little thing wouldn’t wake up”. His voice was sweet but his expression was stern.
“I know you are sorry, baby” he sat on the bed I was on. “You didn’t want to get hurt and get us all concerned, didn’t you?” Before I could answer, he was already talking. “The problem is, you did get us worried. You tried to escape and actions have consequences, Y/n, we will need to teach you a lesson”. Once he finished his words, a small whimper left my throat. “Oh, I’m sure you’ll like it”.
Ronal came into the room, a bunch of stuff on her arms, due to the dim light, I couldn’t see very well. “She is awake” Tonowari told her “I am pretty aware” she responded. “I am so disappointed in you, Y/n, I thought you loved us and you broke our hearts” she looked at me coldly and a chill ran down my spine.
She sat down on the bed, at my right side. Tonowari took the left. “I am going to show you, what happens when you disobey” . Before I could speak, she ripped my threaded top, making me squeak in pain, the fast friction had caused the thread to burn my skin a little bit. Ronal pinched one of my nipples, both of them hardening with the sudden wave of air. “I hope you learn the lesson”. I couldn’t help but feel a small amount of wetness pooling between my legs.
Tonowari shuffled and moved me on top of his lap, my stomach being in touch with his, still covered, erection. He moved my loincloth aside and prepared my butt cheeks to be spanked. Before that, he passed two fingers along my slit, taking up just a small amount of arousal. “Look at her, all horny knowing how much pain she is going to go though” he cooed smiling, even though Ronal didn’t smile. She passed two fingers down my slit too, pressing onto my clit and penetrating me just slightly. “It will be better this way” she concluded, licking my arousal off her fingers.
Tonowari’s big hand slapped my butt before I was able to react. I big purplish mark starting to appear in my blue skin. Then he did it again, and again. And as many times as he could, until tears pricked at my eyes, threatening to spill. My whole butt was in a purple-reddish color, making Tonowari puff his chest out in proudness.
I was almost close to crying when he just laid a finger on my sore skin and I broke down in sobs. “Now hush, my love” he smiled at me before setting me down on the bed. He pulled me down, my teary eyes looking up into the ceiling, before feeling his fingers across my cunt. He pulled my tied legs upwards before penetrating with his long digits.
The movement made me almost jolt in the spot if my, already tied and sore limps, weren’t being held by Tonowari’s strong arms. Shivers ran down my spine as I heard the wet sloppy sounds that filled the marui pod. Ronal, who had been rustling in the background, came near us. “She is ready” she announced. “Ready for what?” I asked, my voice barely a whisper. “This” she pushed Tonowari’s hand away and started slurping at my pussy. She nibbled, sucked and licked everything. Tonowari brought his fingers up to his mouth and licked them.
He then took his loincloth off, throwing it somewhere and revealing a huge, pre-cum leaking, cock. “Now you gotta satisfy me” he said, getting closer to me “Open you mouth” he commanded, his hands never leaving my legs while his fingers dig softly into my skin. I opened my mouth hesitantly before he shoved his entire length down my throat, making me cough and gag around his cock.
While Ronal had me squirming and having my pussy completely drenched, I came undone, screaming, moaning and gagging around Tonowari’s cock. He was grunting and puffing out air from time to time. The vibrations probably sending him chills. I continued gagging around his huge, veiny, cock while Ronal kept drinking up my juices.
Tonowari came into my mouth without any other warning than a gutural grunt. I felt out of air, the tears smearing across my face again. Once he pulled out, Ronal got up. She looked at me, spiting softly in her fingers and beginning to play with my breasts. I screamed in pleasure. Tonowari took my face and gave me a kiss, I could hear his soft grunt from tasting his own cum in my mouth.
He then held my face with my mouth open and spat on it. “Now you are learning how to be a good girl, aren’t you?” He taunted. He then positioned himself with me, my legs were completely tired of being upwards. He opened them a little bit, still being tied up by the ankles and hooked them up his shoulders. That way, my cunt and his cock were already lined up. As i squirmed away a little bit, Ronal stopped me, pushing down on my shoulders. “Give me two taps if you need to breathe” she ordered before putting her pussy on my face, moving around, grinding her wet folds over my nose. I took a moment trying to realize what was happening.
Tonowari penetrated me and I lost it, I came undone on his cock for the mere penetration. I screamed in pleasure, engulfing most of her vulva. Ronal moaned in a way I had never heard her moan before. Tonowari kept fucking my cunt and overstimulating me. For a moment, the coil in my tummy broke and I kept crying out in pleasure into Ronal’s dripping wet pussy. The obscene sounds were all over the Marui Pod.
Ronal moved, switching the way she was sitting, moving forward to kiss Tonowari while he kept fucking me. “I’m gonna cum” he moaned “cum inside her, fill her up to the brim. All full with our babies she won’t escape” Ronal’s voice was cold, stoping mid-sentence at time to take in a shaking breath. She was starting to drip more fluids, her orgasm approaching. I decided to give her what she wanted, doing my very best at eating her out. She came into my mouth, I could taste her in my tongue.
Tonowari started making really low grunts and moans before cumming, filling my uterus up with his hot seed. “Now you’ll be ours forever” he smiled, pulling out and using two fingers to get back inside any excess cum that came out.

Tw: Mentions of war, skypeople mentioned, fire, blood, mentions of na’vi sacrifices, mentions of cannibalism, the clan isn’t very friendly at first, mentions of death, Neteyam isn’t dead, mentions of titties out and about.
Author’s note: I didn’t know how to start with this, sorry if it feels rushed, I just didn’t know how to begin the story. I also used a translator for Yucaten, I’m sure if its accurate sentences, so don’t take it seriously. I tried to fit in things that you guys had commenting. This time for the songs, I’m not sure what kind of music I’ll be adding, I might add Korn or Rammstein . I am also trying to make this parts as long as possible, to give you guys more to read because, I feel as if I’m not writing enough. I hope you like the first part, leave a comment, I’d like to hear some feedback.
P.s. Don’t worry, I’m still working on Fish Girl. Also thank you to everyone who has helped me! I really appreciate it. :)

A year has passed since the war, many had suffered the consequences. Now no one knew for sure if a war will happen again. So both Tonowari and Jakesully had had a discussion on forming an alliance with other clan. “It is our best option, we can’t risk this happening again, who knows if they’ll be back” Jake told the chief who was thinking, he knew of a clan that lived in the South but he wasn’t sure if they should seek for their help.
“I know of a clan, they live in the South, but I must warn you, they’re not the friendliest” Tonowari told the other na’vi. Ronal then spoke “They’re also a female dominated clan, it would be best that I or Neytiri go to negotiate.” she said as she held her months old child close to her. “We have to at least try, if not them, we’ll try another one.” Jake said “Alright, we shall seek for their help, or like you said, we should at least try. It was settled then, both the male will try and negotiate with the clan from the South.
The next week, Ronal along with Ao’nung, Neteyam and Neytiri were on their way to the South, they thought it would be safe that they only took their eldest in case of anything. Neither Ronal and Neytiri wanted to leave but it was for the safety of their people.
They had said their goodbyes to their families before leaving on their ilus and Neytiri on her Banshee, still sadden that they had to leave for who knows how long. The trip took a total of almost two weeks, the south was very far, until finally they got to the South. They arrived at an island with a huge volcano in the middle of the island. Once they got off their ilus they group began to walk into the jungle in search of the clan. They had their weapons in case of anything.
They had been walking for what felt hours, tired from their week long trip. Hoping to find the village soon. Until they had come across noises, the group got close towards the noise. Then they saw a group of women, this woman were different, they had pale white skin instead of blue, instead of stripped markings they had slightly darker dotted patterns, their eyes looked an amber or red color, and their hair was also a pale color. They were na’vi for sure, they also had different attire, some had their whole body covered while others displayed their chest out with no coverings of any kind.
The group didn’t know how to approach them “How do we approach them?” Neteyam asked his mother who seemed to be thinking. “I’m not sure, should we make our selves present first” Neytiri suggested as Neteyam spoke “that’s the safest option, is best that we show them peace since we don’t know what they’re capable off” he said, all agreeing.
Neytiri was the first one to step out, making the women stare at her, they looked at her with curiosity then they got their weapons and held them up, some even hissing at them if they stared a bit too much, they noticed their fangs were slightly longer and sharper, along with their finger nails, their nails were longer and sharper too. “I’m sorry to interrupt but, we ask you to take us to your leader” she said as now Ronal, Neteyam and Ao’nung stepped out. The woman had them surrounded, looking at them and seeing their different features. Both Neteyam and Ao’nung greeted them with the gesture of ‘I see you’. “Where are they from?” “What kind of Na’vi are they?” they asked among each other.
One of the women, wearing only a skirt that was wrapped around her waist and went down to her calf came close. She didn’t have anything that covered her chest, she had blue and black paint on her face and chest, her hair was laying on her back. Neytiri was looking at her face, not wanting to show any kind of disrespect. “You wish to speak to our ahaw ?” she asked as Neytiri nodded. “Yes, we wish to speak to them” she said then the woman nodded and signaled them to follow her. As the group walked the woman followed.
They walked for a little while until they got to their village, the village was bigger than they expected. Their was small houses everywhere, a small river in the middle in which boats were, most of the villagers their were women, children, and a few men, they had never seen such a place. The woman guided group towards a large stair case, into a platform. A small crowed formed around them, they looked just the women, they had pale skin and amber or red eyes. They looked at them, mumbling towards one another, the children near by looked amazed by the small group.
The woman stopped in the middle of the steps, then asked for someone to go get their ahaw, the group remained surrounded by the woman who lead them into the village, mean while the villagers that had surrounded them were trying to get a better look. “Who are they?” “Are they from the forest?”” “Why are their tales that way?” That’s what they heard until they saw three figures coming down what seemed a pyramid like building with a bunch of stairs, one of a older woman and two other figures following.
The older woman was wearing a dress that went from her chest to her ankles, the colors were of both red and orange. She had on white paint on her chest and arms with red lines on her hands and red surrounding her forehead to jawline. She wore what seemed to be a jade beaded web like neckless that went from her neck and down her shoulders. She also has a huge nose ring, big earrings, and lastly she wore a large feathered headdress, the feathers were the colors same colors as her attire.
“Nicté, they requested your presence” the woman from before said then the woman who they assumed is the ahaw. “I see you” the woman did the gesture and they repeated it. “What is it that you seek? Why did has the forest and water na’vi come here?” she asked, making the crowd mumble amoung themselves, as Neytiri spoke. “We came to as for an Alliance with you.” she said, then Nicté smirked and laughed, others laughing with her. “You, Naytiri, have come to ask for help? Why is that? Has your mate been causing more trouble I assume?” she asked looking at the other na’vi. “The sky people, they might return at any time but we aren’t so sure when, we want to be prepared and we wish for your help.” She said making the ahaw to speak.
“And why should we help you? Wasn’t your mate  Toruk Makto?” She asked looking at Neytiri. This time it was Ronal who spoke. “Yes, he was, but we still need your help, the sky people may come back, and stronger than before, if we don’t do anything, they will take our home.” She said, now pleading. “Hm, I see, well if you want our help, you must learn like us. You must evolve like us, fight like us, ride like us, and learn the ways of fire and ash.” Nicté said giving her a closer look.
“We will, we will learn your ways” Ronal spoke, as the woman then had moment of thought. “Very well, y/n, Yolotli” she called out for two people, two younger na’vi came close. The na’vi looked just like their mother, but their eyes were a deep red. They wore a top that seamed to be made out of bones and beads that fitted their chest perfectly. For the bottom they wore a skirt made out of red feathers, leather with jade on the front of the leathers, the waist band had larger pieces of jade with some bones hanging onto down. They also had their calf and feet wrapped in dark leather. They also wore a jade neckless around their neck, they also had large jade earrings on both ears, a nose piece that was placed on the bridge of their nose, and four strings with jade beads that were on both nostrils of their. They also had some kind of painted markings on their face, and finally a similar crown like headpiece adorned with red feathers. Their hair wasn’t too long or short, it landed on her shoulder blades, and the ends were what seemed to be dyed a deep red.
The girl next to y/n, had eyes just like their sibling, she wore a brown leather top with tassels on the sides, with green colored beads that hanged on the bottom. She had on a black beaded hip scarf, she wore big jade earrings, her bottom lip was pierced with a small jade cylinder, on her brows she also had on two sets of jade jewelry, two strings of jade beaded strings on both her nostrils and her neck was adorned with loads of different sized jade necklaces. Her hair was down and long, it reached her mid back, she also had her ends colored red and she had the same face markings painted on her face. She didn’t have a headdress like her mother and y/n. She gave them a toothy smile “I see you” she said using the greeting gesture.
“This are my twins, y/n and Yolotli,  they will be ones to teach your children”  Nicté said as the oldest na’vi spoke “ Ba'ale' na', Ba'axten K'a'abet in -” but mother why do I have to- they were cut off by their mother “ Mak a chi'ex, u jala'ach wíinik t'aan, teech k'a'abéet a ka'ansik ti' leti'ob, lelo' definitivo.” silence, the chief speaks, you are to teach them, that is final she said. Y/n rolled her eyes and hissed in anger, clearly frustrated by this, it was clear that she didn’t want that duty. “Y/n please take our guest and give them a home, they must be exhausted from their trip” Nicté told her child, y/n nodded and motioned them to follow them.
Y/n was guiding the group into the village, some villager kept eyeing them as the group walked down the path. The group noticed kids running around with torches lit with fire, some even had fire in their small hands, showing it off to who they assumed was their parents. Some villagers were giving them some nasty looks, as if they didn’t want them here for being different from them. Finally they got to their small home, y/n walked over to the small entrance of the home. It was big enough to fit four na’vi. “This will be were you’ll be staying” they said as the group walked in looking at the home. “If you do not like it, then you can leave” y/n said with an attitude and clearly angry, they reminded Neytiri of herself when she first met Jake. “No, its great, thank you very much” Neytiri said turning to the small party, y/n left them to get settled in.
After all of them had their rest, a girl known as Yolotli walked in holding a basket of what they assumed was food, y/n walked in after her with a big plate. “Good evening, I’ve brought you something to eat” she said as she placed the food on the table. She said as Ronal asked her. “You’re their sister?” she asked as Yolotli nodded. “Yes, well I hope you enjoy the food” she said with a smile and left. She had brought enough food for the four of them. They each got their own portion and ate, Yolotli had brought them corn, squash, some fruit and something called tamales, they were very spicy but everything was eaten, they had not eaten properly the whole week, only eating raw fish.
“Tomorrow we’ll begin, get some sleep” y/n said as they got up and walked out of their home. Yolotli also got up from her spot “sorry about them” she said giving them an apologetic smile at the four. “I’ll see you all in the morning, I hope you all have a good sleep.” She said sweetly and left behind their sibling.
“I’m surprised that we’re alive, y/n looked like they wanted to skin us alive” Neteyam said as he laid on a hammock, still a bit shaken up by y/n. Ao’nung then spoke “yeah, I though the whole clan was going to kill us, they seemed... very intimidating” he admitted. Ronal then got their attention “here is what we’ll do, we will not cause any kind of trouble, we don’t know what they are capable of, we already have their help and we don’t want to loose it, and I doubt that any of you would want to be there next sacrifice.” She said to all them. They all nodded. Neytiri spoke again “Alright, go to bed” he said as they all laid down in their hammock.
Back at y/ns home, they were getting ready for bed, they had taken off their headdress, jewelry to sleep comfortably, they laid down on a cot next to Yolotli’s. Their sister was already laying down, ready to fall asleep. “y/n?” Yolotli said towards them “what is it?” they said closing their eyes. “What are your thoughts on them?” she asked as their sibling responded “I think they won’t make it, I doubt they’ll be able to master fire, they’ll be like babies learning how to walk” they said as Yolotli spoke again. “Give them a chance, I’m sure they can do it” she said as y/n just nodded, already dozing off. “Yeah, yeah whatever” they said as Yolotli got comfortable on her cot. “ Ma'alo'ob áak'ab” Goodnight she said to y/n who was already in deep slumber.
That morning, y/n and Yolotli came back to see how they were doing, they had brought them food like yesterday, but this time they had also brought some kind of stew. It was called menudo it was made out of Tarpirus stomach, again it was spicy, but very good. Yolotli seemed very nice while y/n didn’t seam to like being told what do you. It was clear when their mother told them to. They all sat down and Yolotli was talking about stuff that they did.
It was very different than what they did. They were also a very isolated clan, they did not like to be bothered by other clans, so they decided to move into South to stay away from every other clan. It was also obvious that it was female dominated clan, they did have males but the women were the ones in charge. When it came to children, majority of the time it were females that were born more than the males.
Every harvest they would na’vi sacrifices as a way to give back to Eywa who had given them a lot, so as a way to give back to the great mother, they gave back with blood. Sometimes they’d even eat the sacrifice as a way to nourish Eywa and seek guidance. Some sacrifices involved being thrown into the volcano or their hearts being taken out publicly, the practice seemed terrifying, but they saw this as an honorable way to go to Eywa. They had creatures called a  Nì’awve, which meant Fire, and the being is able to swim with its ridder in the lava of the volcano. When a bond was made with the creature, one could not burn with fire, but with lava, when it came to an amount of time being in the lava, then they’ll burn. They also spoke another tongue besides Na’vi, they spoke something called Yucatec, it was their own kind of language no other na’vi but them knew.
They also practice something called Polyamory, it was when one na’vi had more than one mate, didn’t matter if they either male or female, it was considered normal here. Yolotli had mentioned that Nicté has a female mate, if she wanted, she could have another or even more.
When they questioned about the twins birth, Yolotli had mentioned that their mothers had given Eywa a life, a sacrifice, in return, so that one of the females could carry a life of her own, but Eywa had been so generous to the Tsahìk and her mate, gifting them two lives in each of their womb at the same time, creating twins. Y/n being born first, and Yolotli second.
They had learned that Y/n will be the next Tsahìk, due to being the oldest, they had more responsibility than Yolotli. They were the opposite, they were like the sun and moon. Y/n being the sun showing firmness, strength and power, and Yolotli being the moon showing calmness, beauty, and nurturing. It made even more since that they were twins.
“Now that you all know some history, this is where the fun begins” y/n said with a smirk on their face, showing them her sharp fangs, that smirk was of one of mischief and pure chaos. Both Neteyam and Ao’nung looked at each other a bit worried. “If anything happens to me, tell my family I love them” he whispered to Ao’nung who responded. “Same here” he said giving y/n and Yolotli a nervous smile.  Yolotli only smiled at them in the most kindess way possible. “I’ll be good fun though” she said, seeing the nervous expression the males faces.

YES NICHOLE ASKS ILU GUYS 😭!! Nichole x Wendy, head with a side of rough and ready. Order UP!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nichole x Wendy
[Order from the Smut Cafe] [South Park Fic Master Lists]
Volleyball practice was over. Wendy and Nichole were the last ones in the locker rooms.
Nichole was in the shower soaping up and washing off her day when the curtain opened. It was Wendy.
Wendy had been through a lot. Breakups, makeups, more break ups. She’d been an emotional support dog for her last ex and one thing she learned was that in relationships, you had to be crystal clear about your wants and needs.
She and Nichole may have had a strange little situationship, and fooled around occasionally, but the same rules still applied.
Nichole looked at Wendy’s naked body and stammered as she stepped into the shower, “Wh-What are you–“
Wendy traced her fingers over Nichole’s shoulder and down to her breast.
“I needed a shower,” She leaned down and kissed her neck as one hand caressed her breast and the second fell between the other girl’s legs, “I needed you,”
Nichole’s face felt hot. They were alone. For now. It would be easy for them to get caught there. Then Wendy’s fingers started to her rub her clit just the way she liked and none of that really mattered. What were the chances of something like that happening?
Still, Nichole tried to stifle her moans. She did pretty well, until Wendy dropped to her knees.
Nichole panicked as she panted through the pleasure Wendy was granting her in tight little circles, “You can’t-- I’ll make too much noise,”
“I don’t care,” Wendy said flatly, taking withdrawing her hand from her.
It wasn’t quite a punishment, but she knew how close Nichole was to finishing and she wasn’t allowed to. Not yet.
She was past caring. Too many people went through life just going for what they want and getting it. It’s not like Nichole didn’t want it, she was just afraid of the consequences. Not enough people get actual consequences.
It was senior year. Even if someone found them, they’d be fine. They were two of the prettiest girls in the school. Even if everyone found out, it would be nothing but masturbatory fodder. It wouldn’t really bring them down. If anything, knowing the people they went to school with, it might make them even more popular. Wendy knew it.
Wendy picked up Nichole's leg, and threw it on her shoulder.
Nichole braced herself against the tiled wall as best as she could. Everything was wet and she worried about slipping, but the thought faded once Wendy’s tongue was on her.
Wendy ran her tongue over Nichole’s slit and savored the taste as her tongue slipped between her delicate folds. She lapped eagerly at her heat and hardly noticed that her hands were holding onto Nichole’s ass so hard that her fingertips were pressed in enough to leave nail-marks.
Nichole bit her lip as she struggled to stand and stay quiet. It seemed like she needed all her brainpower for just one of those tasks and splitting the labor was fucking impossible. So she moaned. She moaned loud and her entire body shivered as Wendy took her soft little clit into her mouth.
Then her hand slid down Nichole’s thigh and slid around and up until it found her slit again. Wendy pushed her fingers inside without a warning and immediately curled them.
Nichole’s eyes rolled back and she grabbed a handful of Wendy’s hair. Her leg twitched and Wendy immediately grabbed it with her other hand and held it firm on her shoulder.
Like hell, she was getting away.
Wendy couldn’t help but moan as she listened to and felt how close Nichole was again to finally coming for her.
The vibrations were what pushed her over the edge.
Nichole’s back arched and every muscle in her body tensed up. She was still focused so hard on not falling that she hardly noticed the loud, shuddering moan that poured out of her mouth. Her core tightened up to an unbelievable level as her silky walls grasped onto Wendy’s fingers desperately.
Wendy left a soft, wet kiss right on her sensitive little clit. It looked so cute and a little swollen that she couldn’t help but brush the tip of her tongue over it, sending a shiver through Nichole’s body as she let go of Wendy’s wet hair.
Wendy finally put her leg down and stood.
“My knees feel so weak,” Nichole said sheepishly.
"That’s fine,” Wendy grinned, “It’s my turn, anyway”

Rotxo X Fem Metkayina Reader
Prompt: "Just talk to me"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You've known Rotxo your whole life. The two of you were always seen together whenever he wasn't with Aonung and Tsireya. You remember how at one point in time you were jealous of Tsireya because of his crush on her but, that was to be expected. All the guys had a crush on Tsireya and all the girls had a crush on Aonung just because they were the chief's and Tsahik's children. You only felt better when he realized that his feelings for her were not romantic, but instead, he saw her more as a sister due to them growing up so closely together. This gave you some hope in your heart that maybe one day your feelings for him will be reciprocated. However, you seem to be the only one to realize that he is actually quite popular amongst the teen Na'vi both the girls and the boys. The only one that you confided in was Tsireya and she supported it all the way.
"I can definitely come up with something for the two of you to spend more time together. However, it should be easy, because the two of you used to hang out all the time, and even though we have more duties, you should not shy away from hanging out with him, despite how your feeling has changed." You were currently sitting on your Ilu's with Tsireya having this conversation when the two of you should be collecting shells and jewels to bring back.
"That is very kind of you Tsireya but I do not wish to burden you with my own feelings. I need to be a big girl and stop avoiding him. Maybe if I gather enough courage, I can actually confess to him or I just might wait, because I do not wish to jeopardize our friendship." You were truly scared of the consequences of your actions. You will always love Rotxo as a friend before you will wish to love him as a mate and the thought of losing that connection, that friendship made you want to cry. You would rather swallow your feelings than risk losing a precious friendship.
"I do not think that your friendship with him will be jeopardized. You must remember who we are talking about here. He is literally one of the sweetest people we know on this entire island that we call home." She did have a point there, Rotxo was one of the sweetest people ever, and he will rather fight an Akula bare-handed than purposely hurt someone's feelings. That thought alone made you come to a realization that if you do confess your feelings to him, he may agree just to keep from hurting your feelings, which is much worse than anything. You would rather be sad and embarrassed than force him to agree with something simply because he put your feelings above his, which should never happen.
"I am going to have to think about all of this." Tsireya Looked like she was going to push you to talk more but thankfully, she got the hint, and plus, she is just too sweet to put you on the spot like that.
"That is fine, but for now let the two of us continue doing what we are supposed to do before we both get in trouble." You both giggled and smirked at each other before diving into the water to get the shells and stuff that you needed. The two of you collected many shells and jewels and stones to bring back and by the time the two of you were done, that is when you noticed that her brother and Roxto had come back from hunting. You felt your heart and your stomach flutter with nerves when Rotxo came into view.
"What have the two of you been up to?" The four of you talked for a while with you steadily avoiding eye contact with Roxto, who took notice and kept looking at you with eyes of concern. The brother-sister duo also took notice of your odd behavior but chose not to say anything as they looked at each other and had a silent conversation.
"Hey Y/N, it has been a while since the two of us have hung out, would you like to come with me for a while after we drop off our things?" You almost withered at the sincere and hopeful look he was giving you. You knew that he knew that you would not reject him in front of the other two since it would raise too much suspicion. You almost scowled at his plan because you were not sure you will be able to contain how you truly feel once alone with him.
"Of course, I would love to." You were so focused on looking at him that you missed the Aonung and Tsireya looked at each other.
"Why don't the two of you get a head start then?" You turn to give Tsireya a confused look as she reached over and plucked the basket of jewels, shells, and stones that you collected with her. You looked over to see Aonung doing the same thing to Rotxo, who was just as confused as you were.
"See the two of you later. We will have an excuse for why the two of you are missing." You watched as the brother and sister disappeared on their Ilu's never looking back, leaving you alone with Rotxo. You turned to him to see that he was already staring at you, making you flush with slight embarrassment. You knew you were acting weird because you never acted like this around him, but you couldn't help the way you feel. Your infatuation with him only grew stronger and stronger until you realized that what you thought was platonic was, in fact, romantic feelings for him. You were too scared to figure out how his feelings were for you though.
"Y/N." You looked around the waters to see that the two of you were alone, and you weren't about to run away from him. However, you were too nervous to look at him, and he took notice of that. "Why don't you want to look at me?" You want to speak, but you got tongue-tied, and the words kept dying from your throat. You wanted to cry because you felt so silly in front of him. These feelings were making you nervous, something you never thought you would feel when you would be around him.
"I..." You managed to get out a single word before clamming up. You felt him sigh and the water move as he moved the Ilu to be directly next to you, close enough that you felt his leg pressed tightly against your leg. You still refused to look at him until a cool hand was pressed under your chin and he forced you to look at him. He had a small frown, and his head tilted with genuine concern for you.
"Just talk to me, please." He was so earnest that you were not going to deny him what he asked, even if you were fighting against it. It was like an invisible force making you open up to him.
"I really like you. I have a crush on you, and I do not want to mess up our friendship because I have romantic feelings for you. I was just going to pretend that I did not have them, but it got harder and harder to hide that I ended up avoiding you, which was the last thing that I wanted to do." There you go. You said it, you admitted it You sighed and closed your eyes, waiting for the inevitable but it never came. In fact, you heard a chuckle, which was very uncharacteristic of him, and had your eyes shooting open to stare at him. You knew you were blushing because he was already staring but you were too confused to try and hide right now.
"That's why you have been avoiding me? Because you have a crush on me, and you assumed it would not be returned. Yawntu, please." You felt your jaw drop, but you did not pull away when he leaned forward and pressed his forehead gently against yours. In fact, you found yourself closing your eyes again and purring lowly in your chest at the close proximity. "I wish you would've told me sooner than I wouldn't have to be worried about my future mate avoiding me." It was your turn to open your eyes again and gasp in shock.
"Your future mate?" You really should be focused on something else, but all you can focus on is the bloom of hope that erupted in your chest, especially when he smiled so sweetly at you.
"Yes, yawntu. Mine." When he leaned in for a kiss you leaned in to meet him the rest of the way. If you knew that, admitting your feelings would lead to this, you would have admitted them a very long time ago.

A/N: Thank you @pandoraslxna for this amazing event
Divider by @cafekitsune
“Nung, come here,” I whisper, pulling him to the side.
Aonung chuckles at my antics, “What is it, Sumtsyìp?” wrapping his arms around my waist.
I turn to face him, “I want attention,” I giggle as the gang of people who refuse to leave Aonung sneaks closer.
“Well, of course, Sumtsyìp. I am all yours.” We quickly leave, hoping that none of them follow us.
We hide out in a storage marui, waiting for it to be safe to leave.
I watched as Aonung’s shoulders relaxed, and his smile became natural and not forced, “Thank you, Sumtsyìp. You saved me just in time,” His hand cradles my head.
“I saw how uncomfortable they were making you. I couldn’t just leave you there,” I explain, leaning into his touch, “Not to mention, I have a surprise for you,” I smile mischievously.
Aonung’s eyes widened as his tail swayed side to side, “A surprise? What is it?”
“I can’t tell you. You have to choose where you want to open your present.” I state, obviously.
“Ahh, so you’re being a brat right now. I get it,” He smirks, poking my stomach.
His poke caused me to clench, forcing me to hold back a moan, not wanting my secret out just yet. Aonung had been showing interest in my asshole, but after explaining to him that my ass would take much longer to stretch than my cunt, and all the risks, he backed off, not wanting to risk hurting me. But little did he know that I carved my own set of buttplugs, from as small as my pinky, to just smaller than Aonung’s cock, minus the spines. I had been working my way up the sizes. It had taken me months to get to this point. Here I was, standing in front of Aonung, an enormous plug shoved inside my ass, walking around the village. It was difficult, as it rubbed at my walls, stuffing so me full, I almost waddled.
“How about that little island we found to the West?” He asks excitedly.
“Sounds perfect!” I play along, knowing that riding an Ilu sounds like hell.
Aonung pulls us out of the marui, “Let’s go!” each step is torture on my ass and cunt.
Pulling me along, he calls for his Ilu before diving into the water. I hesitate to enter the cold water, knowing I won't be able to help but clench around the plug.
Looking up from the water, Aonung was puzzled, “Is everything alright, Sumtsyìp?” His face marred with concern.
“Yes! I’m fine, I’m coming,” I trail off, not knowing how to get in.
I can’t jump, literally, and sitting will cause the plug to push in deeper. I bite my lip as I contemplate different ways to get into the water. But two large hands grab my waist and pull me gently into the water. I gasped at Aonungs’s actions and again at the cold water. The cold caused my body to tense as it adjusted to the water. Consequently, I clenched around the plug, rubbing against the sensitive flesh, holding me wide, cunt dripping slick onto my swim bottoms and my clit throbbing from the pleasure. Moaning softly in response, I cover it by clearing my throat.
“It really is a surprise when you let me do things for you. It makes me happy to do even small things like this for you,” Aonung explained, kissing me softly.
I clear my throat again, trying to find my voice, “You know I am independent, but I can be nice every now and then,” I snark good-naturedly, keeping up the act, even though I just want to grind on his thigh until I cum.
Aonung laughs as he tucks me in close to him, setting me forward on his Ilu, thankfully avoiding my ass, “Alright, alright, just give me something every now and then,” He joked, getting into position.
“What do you think I am doing?” I question, looking at him.
“Ready to go?” He ignored me.
Rolling my eyes, I take a large breath before we set off.
The ride itself was uneventful. We simply rode to our destination, surfacing the water for air when needed. Aonung, being the experienced rider he is, I was barely jostled at all. The little island we visit is not far but highly seclusive, allowing us all the privacy we want. As we venture to shore, I look at the rocks leading to where we are supposed to go. I realized there was no way that I could climb those, so my plan must work here.
Aonung, realizing I wasn’t following him, turned to look at me, “Sumtsyìp, are you coming?”
Knowing it was now or never, I slowly walked over to him, untying the top of my bathing suit and dropping it in the sand. Not expecting my actions, he swallows as he reaches out to touch me. I back up and keep my distance.
“Aonung, do you want your surprise?” I ask coyly.
“Yes,” Aonung whispers breathlessly, nodding his head.
Gesturing to my swim shorts, “Then unwrap me,”
His hands slowly reach to my hips, wrapping his large hands around me, slowly sliding down over the swell of my ass, bumping to the base of the plug. I moan as he did so.
“Sumtsyìp, is that?” He trails off.
“Look and find out,” I chuckle.
Aonung rips off my bottoms, the shreds of fabric litter the ground, making me roll my hips, and I whine from the pleasure. He quickly turns me around, bending me over a rock, putting my ass at face level.
“Oh fuck, Sumtsyìp,” He groans, seeing the plug for the first time.
The plug itself is nothing pretty, sanded and polished wood, but the size made Aonung look twice, not believing what he saw. My asshole stretched around the base of the plug holding me open. Aonung presses on the base, pushing it in further, “How long have you been wearing this today?” He asks in awe.
“Since you left this morning, I pretended to be asleep as you left.” I moaned as he continued to play with the plug.
“You’ve been wearing this since eclipse? My naughty girl has worn something in her ass all day, fooling the town into thinking that you’re a good girl while fucking your own ass in public.” Aonung moaned as one of his hands dropped to his slit.
“I had to be ready for you,” I whined as he pulled on the plug harshly.
“Well then, let's see if you’re ready,” he teased.
Aonung pulled on the plug, and my ass followed with him, so he pushed it back in. This goes on for a while as he continues to fuck my ass with the plug.
“Please, Nung!” I cry from the pleasure.
This time, Aonung pulls on the plug and doesn’t release the pressure. Slowly my ass weakens as it widens more, surrendering the plug. My ass is sore from where the plug all day, and the stretch of my muscles burn, but they can only hold out for so long. A loud pop could be heard as the plug left my ass. The inside of my ass feels cold as the breeze blows in.
One of Aonung’s fingers entered my open asshole. I wouldn’t have known if he wasn't rubbing my walls, “Look at that, Sumtsyìp, your hole isn't even closing.” He mutters in awe.
He added another finger, but I could barely feel it, “Please, Aonung, it’s not enough!” I beg, needing more.
“Hmmm, alright, I will give you want you want,” Aonung’s fingers leave my ass, and flips me around, laying me on my back.
The lube I poured into myself was flowing out of me. Aonung caught it in his hand and rubbed it over his shaft, lining up with my asshole. Slowly, he pushed in, and it was like nothing I had ever felt before. It was the same stretch, but Aonung felt so much bigger here. His spines racked against my bruised walls, popping into different places as the spines came to life, each one finding its home.
“Oh fuck, you’re so fucking tight.” He groans as he forces more of himself into me.
I lay there dumbstruck, thoughts leave my head, and all I know is his cock. The way each spine popped in as I was stretched in a forbidden palace. Finally, Aonung bottomed out, and his spines found their places, leaving us little room to grind against one another. Aonung rocks our bodies in tandem, pulling my body along with his. With each move, the spines pulled on my insides, but it wasn’t enough. My clit was throbbing, and my core was tight, but it simply wasn’t enough to make me cum.
“Nung!” I cried, hoping he understood.
Aonung rubbed his finger through my sopping folds, quickly entering a finger into my pussy, “Sumtsyìp, I can feel my dick through your pussy,” He emphasized with several harsh rolls.
My eyes roll into the back of my head, whining from everything he does.
“Oh fuck, Sumtsyìp, I’m going to cum,” Aonung groaned as I clenched around him.
He brings his thumb to my clit, rolling it in time with his hips, and I cum. I arch my back off the rock, screaming. A tidal wave of pleasure moves through me, and I feel as Aonung cums inside me, too, the spurts of cum filling my intestines, warming my insides. We kiss in a mess of lips and teeth as we cum, needing to feel closer. Without locking onto my cervix, Aonung’s cock softens, slipping out of me in the prosses, leaving my gaping ass exposed to him. He removes his hand as he watches his cum drip from my asshole.
“We can't have that now, can we,” Aonung spoke breathlessly.
He quickly reinserts my plug back inside me, and I whine at the overstimulation as it is pushed into place with a pop, sealing his cum inside me. “Thank you, Sumtsyìp. I can’t wait for round two.”

Neteyam's kiss tastes like honey. Not necessarily something Augustine would have expected. His lips are soft, gentle. The hands on her face warm and sweet. She could live in this moment, paused forever. Her mind reorganizes everything she knows of Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan. Hidden behind all the childish thinking, she always found him attractive. Always found comfort and safety in his presence. She admired how great of a warrior he is. How he completed his iknimaya ritual in his first try. How he took the time to help her do the same when it was her turn. How well they worked together when they were younger. How good of a big brother he was to his younger siblings. He was - no, is beautiful. She leans deeply into the kiss - her first kiss.
Yet, Neteyam pulls away from the unexpected embrace. His eyes drawn to anything but Augustine. His hands slowly fall from her cheeks. "I shouldn't have done that," he mutters under his breath. She watches him in complete and utter confusion. She continues to struggle between what is real and what is not. However, she knows that kiss was real. She knows the pain of him pulling away is real too.
"I'll take you home," Neteyam states as he calls out to his ilu. He walks into the water. The waves crashing against his brutal driving force. Augustine, still weak from her drowning, slowly rests her weight back onto her elbows within the warm sand. She coughs, feeling a bit of sea water against her tongue. At this point, confusion does not cover the amount of ambiguity and hopelessness she feels. Neteyam, the one member of the Sully family that she does not have a connection with and yet, now ... What do they have? What is this?
"Augustine, let's go," Neteyam yells out the demand. His eyes on the horizon as he swiftly bonds with his ilu. Augustine shakes her head, her brows pulled together. She slowly stands and begins to walk through the water. She feels tingles down her arms and legs. As she approaches him, she places a gentle hand against the ilu. "Where are we going?" she asks weakly. "We're going back to the village. We are done training for today," he quickly answers. His eyes forward. He still has not looked at her since their kiss.
Augustine chuckles as she waves for him to scoot backwards on the saddle. "What are you laughing at?" Neteyam asks in confusion. He watches as she sits in front of him, hooking her hand upon a notch. "I'm laughing because it appears that you are wanting to forget what just happened on that beach," she replies with a chuckle as she points back towards the shore. She turns around with a smirk to finally catch his eye. "Was I that bad of a kisser, Neteyam?" she adds as her smile falls. He grunts, frustrated that he has to speak of it. Through gritted teeth, he answers, "You were perfect. Breath in." She quickly took a deep breath as he guided the beautiful ilu into the ocean waters.

As Neteyam and Augustine arrived to the Awa’atlu cove, they could both see Tuk and Kiri excitedly watching them amongst the docks. His ilu slowly swims up to the platform. "Hi Tuk," Augustine greets in a sing-song voice. "How was it?!" she asks, bouncing in excitement. Augustine stands upon the saddle. Kiri extends her hand with a smile, helping her stand firmly against the village floor. Neteyam nods towards his sisters and swims off without a word. Kiri and Augustine stand in bewilderment as they watch his silhouette disappear.
"What's wrong with Neteyam?" Tuk asks with a worried voice. She directs her question to her older sister, Kiri, while grabbing her arm. "I'm not sure," Kiri says as she looks to Augustine with a puzzled expression. "Did anything happen out there?" Augustine's lips tighten in a mixture of embarrassment and nerves. "Nothing," she quickly answers. Kiri's brow shoots up as she stares at the slow blush forming on Augustine's cheeks. "Tuk, can you tell Lo'ak to find Neteyam?" Kiri suggests without taking her insightful eyes away from Augustine. Tuk watches the awkward exchange and nods, slowly backing away to find her older brother. Kiri notes she’s starting to get too smart for her own good.
With Tuk at a safe distance, Kiri crosses her arms across her chest. "What happened out there, Augustine?" she asks. Augustine groans as she begins her walk towards the Sully hut. "You're using my full name?" she whines. Kiri skips to catch up to her. Her hand wrapping around her forearm, stopping her in her tracks. "What happened?" she asks again. Her seriousness on full display. Other Metkayina watch, curious of the two four-fingered girls. Augustine grumbles again as she struggles to keep her eyes from Kiri's.
"It's fine. We're fine," Augustine answers, light-heartedly. She tries her best to sound genuine and sincere. Unfortunately, Kiri has a really good bullshit detector. "Gusty, please don't make me ask you a third time," Kiri says as she rolls her eyes. Augustine hisses as she pulls her head down in embarrassment. "We kissed," she shares. Her head slowly raising, curious to her response.
Kiri stares back at her with wide eyes. Her body entirely frozen. Her mouth slightly ajar. "Kiri," Augustine whispers nervously. "Say something." Kiri seemed to snap back into reality when her jaw shuts and she begins to nod. Her lips pursed. Her eyes squint here and there as she processes the shocking information. Augustine could visually see Kiri wrapping her mind around the idea. Suddenly, her finger raises between their bodies. The quick movement startles Augustine. She then places her finger to her lips. "I did not see that coming," she whispers. Her nodding returns.
"Neither did I," Augustine mutters under her breath. Kiri's mouth opens again as she thinks. Her brows pulled together. "But you know he's promised to Pipxì," she adds nonchalantly. Augustine's head sharply turns towards Kiri. Her face expressing a mixture of anger, pain, and confusion. "Okay, so you didn't know," Kiri corrects herself, her eyes to the floor.
"He's promised?" Augustine asks slowly. She struggles to gain Kiri's gaze, but then stares into her eyes. "Yes," she answers quickly. "How long?" Augustine inquires through gritted teeth. "Neteyam has been promised since he turned 18," Kiri solemnly shares. “When he received his warrior rites.” Augustine takes in a big shaky breath. "So a year," she reiterates. Kiri nods.
Augustine clears her throat softly, suddenly feeling like she is choking. "Let's get back to the hut. It's getting late," she says flatly. She walks forward, not caring whether Kiri is following her or not in this moment. Her eyes forward. Not noticing a single curious Metkayina eye. Her heart racing. Her ears getting hot. Her eyes begin to water, but she does her best to reign her emotions in.
She rushes through the hut’s opening. Not a single greeting to those within. Jake's head immediately pops up at her quick movements. He pauses from cleaning his gun. Neytiri holds Tuk's braids in her hands as she turns to look towards the rushing mass. Tuk and Lo'ak seem to be in the middle of a conversation, but stop midway to watch with slightly opened mouths.
Augustine walks over to her resting space. It is tucked between her backpack and the hut's wall. She rests on her side, facing the tan plain leather. Her ears flick as she hears movement behind her. "Augustine," Jake coos behind her. His hand gently rests upon her shoulder as he kneels beside her. Her teeth grind at his touch. She is so angry that it feels as though her skin is on fire. Although the sensation was soft, the overwhelming feeling of rage seeps into each of her pores. The worst part? She doesn’t even know why she is so outraged.
"Augustine," Jake repeats softly. With a deep breath, she turns to look at him over her shoulder. She sees the worry in his tired golden eyes. His nostrils flared and his mouth tight into a firm line. She notes Neytiri focusing on her daughter's hair, while Tuk and Lo'ak desperately attempt to look as though they are not eavesdropping. "Are you okay?" Jake asks, filling the silence. "It's nothing, Toruk-um-Jake," she ends with a nervous laugh. "I can't help if you don't tell me what's wrong," he says with a small smile. His brows pinch together in concern. "I don't think you can help me with this one," she weakly replies.
Jake humphs in curiosity. Augustine sits up. Her eyes flicking back towards his. "Is it your dad?" he guesses as he sits in a criss-cross. "I don't know if I want to do much of a guessing game," she awkwardly shares. He laughs, "I can respect that." He grabs onto his chin as he licks and bites his lower lip. "Is there anything I - or we could do to help you feel better?" he asks with the sincerest of intentions.
Augustine takes another breath, breaking their eye contact. "I'm angry," she whispers. "I'm angry and I don't even know why." He nods, his ears flattening. "Some times that happens," he attempts to comfort her. "What do you do when you're angry?" he asks. She looks up to him in confusion. "I don't know," she replies in disbelief. They both remain silent as her mind beings reeling. "I-I usually go running," she answers, a bit of surprise in her expression.
"Do you want to go running?" he asks, his voice calm and monotoned. "Yes," she says with determination. "Do you want to go alone?" he asks, fully prepared to run with her if she so chose. She smiles, looking back towards him. He grins seeing her happiness. "I think so," she nods as she begins to stand up. Jake quickly stands to support her. "Don't go too far," he encourages. She nods and hurriedly walks from the hut.
Augustine glances side to side, looking for a good place to run. As soon as her eyes hit the shore, she rushes towards it. She jumps and skips around the people in the village. She attempts to be careful, but still hears gasps of shock or grunts of annoyance from the others. Finally, her feet land in the hot sand. She closes her eyes and digs her toes deeper into the texture. She opens to see a straight land of sand before her, the ocean to her right. She runs. She runs as fast as she can. Her heart races, but no longer for Neteyam. No longer for the confusion and pain caused by him.
Questions appear every so often in her head. Why did he kiss her? Why would he do that when he was promised to another? Was it a mistake? He saved her life, maybe it was just because of that? Who is this Pipxì? ... Is she prettier? She shakes her head, trying to get the thoughts out. Once she hit a cove of rocks, she turns around to run back to where she started. Back and forth until the feelings float away.
Suddenly, Spider jumps into Augustine's vision. She stops and falls into the sand, desperate not to run into her brother. "What the hell, Spider?" she says as she stands up, towering over him. Kiri runs up behind him. "What did you do?" he asks with agitation written all over his face. "What did I do?" she asks in shock. Her ears flatten behind her as her chest rises in anger. "You and Neteyam went out. And then Neteyam came back all quiet and to himself," he says with annoyance. "And then I have Kiri running to me to come talk to you." A small, awkward smile appears on Kiri's face as she stands between the two hard-headed siblings.
Lo’ak runs up to the group, curious for the drama. He exchanges looks with Kiri. "I didn't do anything, brother," Augustine hisses. "Look, Kiri won't tell me what happened," he starts. "Can you tell me anything?" She looks over to Kiri with hopeful eyes. She is thankful for her trust and good intent. Turning to Lo’ak, her expression returns to its annoyed and angered state. "Who is Pipxì?" she asks. He looks shocked. He did not expect that question at all. "Uh," he says as he turns over to Kiri for support. She gives him nothing with her sustained tiny grin.
"Pip is a well-respected Metkayinan warrior's daughter. Ronal thought she would be a good mate for Neteyam," he answers slowly. His face filled with confusion as he did not understand why one of his closest friends even cared to know who she is. Augustine gradually nods as she sucks her tongue against her teeth. "Show me," she impulsively demands. Her heart sinking at the request, filled with immediate regret. “Sure, Gus," he says with hesitation. Kiri immediately smacks his arm. “Ow, what the hell,” he yells out as he begins to walk forward.
Lo’ak leads the trio back to the village. His eyes scan members of the clan as Kiri trails closely behind him. Augustine looks around, trying to find the prettiest girl she could see. Unfortunately, the Metkayina people are all very beautiful. Her heart starts to race again, nerves branching off into her collarbones. "Hey Pip," he calls out. Her stomach begin to twist and turn. She slowly stops in her tracks. Kiri gently places her hand upon her wrist. "Are you okay?" she whispers. Augustine raises her eyes and nods. Spider watches his sister from afar, still struggling to figure out what the hell was going on.
"Pip, I want you to meet my cuz. This is Augustine," Lo’ak says, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. As expected, Pipxì is incredibly gorgeous. Her hair closely resembles the waves of the ocean. It's black and thick locks dangling down to her waist. Her eyes are as light blue as the sea. Her body is thin, yet strong. She has two tattoos that resemble Neteyam's. One of a tree’s silhouette wrapping around the top of her arm and shoulder. Another on her chest of wave crashing down. Her smile sends shivers down Augustine's spine. "Hello, Augustine," Pipxì greets sweetly. "Welcome!" Augustine remains silent, but gestures a Metkayina greeting.
Spider looks towards his sister, waiting for some other interaction. The silence is unbearable as they all smile at each other awkwardly. Kiri hesitantly laughs as she asks, "Pips, do we know if the fruits have come in from the cove people?" Pipxì directs her attention towards her. "Yes, we just got back. I've actually been looking for Neteyam," she says with a smile as she looks past Kiri's shoulders. "Have you seen him?" Augustine winces at his name spoken from her mouth.
“Uh, no! I haven’t yet,” Kiri says with a nervous smile. Pipxì shrugs and maintains that gorgeous grin. “Well, I heard you had your first lesson today,” she says with excitement. Her arm is reached out toward Augustine. “Neteyam’s a great teacher,” she says proudly. “Yeah, I know,” Augustine says under her breath. Her ears flatten and her lips slowly raise over her canines.
“Woah-ho-ho,” Lo’ak forces himself to laugh. “Gusty, you are so funny some times.” Kiri and Spider awkwardly join in the laughter, as Augustine bares holes into Pipxì with her eyes. Pipxì slowly begins to giggle, even her laugh was sweet. “She’s funny,” she adds pointing towards Augustine. “Well, it was nice seeing you, Pips,” Spider interjects, knowing his sister all too well. Kiri gets the hint and quickly turns Augustine around by the shoulders, guiding her back towards the shoreline.
But there, Augustine sees Neteyam. Kiri continues to hold her by the tops of her shoulders and begins to give her one of her famous “mom pep-talks.” However, all Augustine could see is Neteyam. All her other senses deafened. His face looks hurt, but so cold. His eyes meet hers and then quickly trail past her . He watches as Lo’ak talks to Pipxì. His hands become fists. He walks off in anger, cursing under his breath. Augustine follows him with her eyes, a bit of concern forming in her heart.
Spider observes as he looks over Kiri and Augustine. He sees Neteyam’s reaction. His balled up fists. His anger. Putting both his sister and his best friend’s reactions together, he begins to recognize a pattern. As Lo’ak runs up from behind, a disgruntled “shit” escapes Spider’s mouth. It was enough to draw both girls’ attentions. His eyes fall upon Augustine’s in disappointment. “You kissed Neteyam, didn’t you?” he asks. Kiri immediately shrinks. Lo’ak’s hand hits his face so hard the group could hear a cupping sound. “No,” he says under his breath.
Augustine stays silent. Her pained face tells Spider everything he needs to know. “Thank Ewya, Tuk wasn’t here,” Lo’ak laughs off, trying to lighten the mood. “She would run to mom and dad so quick.” With a shake of her head, Augustine raises her hands. “It’s done, Spider,” she says with finality. “He’s still your teacher,” he adds. “Yeah, and it’s still done,” she states. With a roll of her eyes, she walks away from the group.
After some time thinking under the night sky, Augustine makes it back to the Sully hut. She puts on a brave, yet fake smile as she enters. Jake beams at the sight of her. “Feeling better?” he asks. She nods, faking her way through all the complex emotions. “Good night, Jake,” she says with a grin. “Good night, Neytiri. Night, Tuk,” she yells out to the two in the back. They respond with their sweet smiles and gestures.
Augustine rests upon her side once again. Her arms crossed over her chest as tears slowly fall off her nose, between the netting, and onto the sea below. Today was a day of firsts. Would she kiss Neteyam again, knowing the pain and anguish that follows? A question she does not know the answer to, despite the fact that she sees him again tomorrow for more training.
Tumblr media
Neteyam paces back and forth. His anger building with every few steps. He is waiting for Lo’ak. He usually comes home with his tail tucked between his legs after a late night visit with Reya. Neteyam desperately wanted to know why. Why was Lo’ak talking to Pip? Why did he bring Augustine with him? Does she know? Shit, does she know?
Augustine was never just a family friend in his eyes. He felt something special about her the second he saw her. He feels it every time he sees her to this day. Being promised to Pip didn’t change anything. What did change was that Augustine was here now. Can he be promised to someone, yet his heart long for another?
"Hey bro," Lo'ak greets with a smile, interrupting Neteyam's thoughts. "What were you doing bringing Augustine to Pip?" he asks, his finger stuck in Lo'ak's face. "Wait, man. What's going on?" he responds with his hands up. "I saw you with Augustine and Pip," Neteyam shares through gritted teeth. His hand now upon Lo'ak's chest, pushing him against a nearby pole. "Does she know?" he asks, clearly stating each word.
Neteyam's face is filled with anguish and worry. His other hand shaking. It cannot decide between an open or fisted hand. Lo'ak nods, confirming his worst nightmares. Lo’ak watches his brother in concern. He has never seen him like this. They have had arguments before, but this is something different. "Neteyam, brother. Relax," he says softly. "Take a breath." With a growl, Neteyam pushes against his brother's chest and walks away. He breathes in deeply and out sharply through his nostrils.
Lo'ak holds his head down, peering up through his brows to continue watching his older brother. Neteyam catches his glance and watches as he puts the pieces together. It finally clicks and Lo'ak's head raises back. He nods with now sadness on his face. "I don't need your pity, Lo'ak," Neteyam hisses. He begins to pace back and forth once again. "You love her," Lo'ak whispers, trying to understand his brother.
Neteyam's head shoots up towards him. His mouth in a tighter line than before. His chin begins to wobble. He is losing control. He pulls his eyes away from his brother, desperate to shut down his feelings. "I am promised to Pip," he mutters under his breath. "But you love Augustine," Lo'ak adds. Neteyam rolls his eyes and shakes his head. "You don't get it," he says, throwing his hands up.
"I do, brother," Lo'ak pleads. He walks over towards Neteyam. He hesitantly places a hand to his shoulder. Neteyam initially brushes it off, but then welcomes it. "If you don't love Pip, you don't have to go through with it," Lo'ak softly says. "Lo'ak," he replies with incredulous laughter. "It's expected of me." Lo’ak shakes his head. “No, you have a choice,” he says as he squeezes Neteyam’s shoulder. Their eyes connect again.
“Ewya chooses, not I,” Neteyam whispers. “Ewya didn’t choose you to be with Pip. Ronal interpreted that. She decided that,” Lo’ak says, pulling his hand away. “Who am I promised to?” he asks, taking a step back. “Reya,” Neteyam answers quickly, confused to his brother’s point. “But according to Ronal, I am not,” Lo’ak says with inflection in his voice. “Ewya put this love in my chest, love for Reya, just as she put the air in my lungs. Ronal can be wrong.” Neteyam hushes Lo’ak, closing the space between them. “Tsahìk is never wrong,” he says with a lower tone. He is concerned for his brother. He was always outspoken, always questioned traditions but for him to say this? He would become a true outcast from the Metkayina.
Lo’ak takes a deep breath, attempting to let out the frustration he has already held onto so long about his own relationship. “Grandmother was wrong,” he says as he stares into Neteyam’s worried eyes. “Tsahìk Mo’at was wrong. She had Tsu’tey and Mom promised to each other.” It was Lo’ak’s turn to watch the gears begin to move within Neteyam’s mind. That finally his stance was clicking. He is understanding. “Ewya chose Mom and Dad,” Neteyam states slowly. “Yes, skxwang,” Lo’ak says, pushing his hand off of his chest.
Neteyam's eyes fall upon Lo'ak. A small smile forms upon his face. "I choose Augustine," he says. The words feel foreign, but they also feel like words that have been dying to come out. He loves her strength. How great of a warrior she is. How he could always trust her at his side, knowing every step before he takes it. He loves her beauty. Her lips were supple and sweet. Her hair, as crazy as she is - as beautiful as she is. Her eyes always opened wide, always trying to take everything in. He loves her intelligence, her curiosity. How she could be the first Tsahìk who practices both types of medicine. She would be an unstoppable force - she already is.
"Let's go to bed, bro," Lo'ak smiles as he guides Neteyam back towards the family hut. "You're going to need all your energy to win her back." He laughs playfully as Neteyam's head whooshes towards him. Lo'ak laughs even harder when he realizes that his brother hasn’t fully grasped how deep in shit he was until now.
The two quietly tip toe into the hut. Careful not to disturb their sleeping family. Kiri and Tuk are snuggled together as usual. Their parents holding each other while they sleep like always. Spider off in a corner with his own supply of alien air. Finally, Neteyam’s eyes fall on Augustine. He stops dead in his tracks. Lo’ak smacks right into his back. “Ow,” he says as he holds his nose. Little did they know, the two brothers did wake up one of the Sully’s. Jake’s ears picked up on them before his eyes even opened. He rests still, but listens in to his sons' conversation.
Neteyam watches the warrior he’s chosen. She rests peacefully against the netted floor. Her eyelids fluttering with incredible dreams, he’s sure. Her hair all over the place. One of her braids wrapped around her wrist. Every so often she lets out a rather loud snore, which he finds unbelievably adorable. A smile sprawls across his face as he remains still. "You know, back when we were younger and Augustine would sleep over with Kiri," he whispers back to his brother. His eyes still on the girl. "I would always catch a glimpse of her before I fell asleep. Just to make sure she was comfortable, safe. Also, so I have a chance to see her actually peaceful and calm," he adds with a laugh.
Jake smiles as his arms wrap against his mate. He cuddles his chin into Neytiri's shoulder. She nuzzles against him in her sleep. His smile stems from the truth he's known about his eldest son for as long as he remembers. His son has always had a fascination with Augustine. It was cute. Norm and Jake would often joke about it over a couple rationed beers. With her travels to the Metkayina's islands, the two had bet on how long it would take for them to fall for each other. No one expected a day.
"Bro, that's weird," Lo'ak says with a chuckle as he slides past Neteyam's broad shoulders. He throws up his hand, chalking his brother up to not understanding. "Maybe one day you'll understand, Lo'ak," he whispers under his breath. With one last smile, he walks over to his bed. As he struggles to sleep, he thinks of ways he could win back Augustine's good side.
Tumblr media
Augustine wakes to Neteyam's hand on her shoulder. His touch welcomed and warm. Without much thought, she places her hand upon his - turning around to see him. "Good morning, warrior princess," he says with a smirk as he crouches beside her. As she slowly opens her eyes, she smiles at his gentle face. And then it all comes rushing back... Pipxì. She pulls his arm from him and places her weight back onto her elbows. His face drops, but he quickly shifts his expression to neutral as he understands her anger.
Neteyam stands, attempting not to let in the hurt he just felt. "I'll meet you by the shore," he says as he stands. He sucks in his lips as he walks off. Augustine watches him with a lump in her throat. She did not mean to hurt him, but he hurt her. He hurt her more than she ever thought possible. That kiss unlocked feelings within her she never expected, never shed light on. It's beyond confusing.
"Gus." Augustine's ears perk up as she turns to follow the bellowing voice. It was Jake. Her ears flatten, as a quick worry spreads across her chest. Her body is still trying to decide whether she’s speaking to her Olo'eyktan or just “Uncle Jake.” She stands straight as she peers into the eyes of the great warrior. Jake smiles, and nods back towards his son who fled the scene. “Let him make it up to you,” he says with amusement.
Augustine sits up as she rubs one of her tired eyes. She stands to meet Jake. “You don’t even know what he’s done,” she says as she stares blankly into the eyes before her. Her glance could be perceived as a challenge, yet here she is - not having a care in the world. Not like she used to. “I know my son,” he smiles as he takes a step back. “As much as he’s smart like his mother, he’s also dumb like me - well, when it comes to this anyway.” She glances over his face. This vulnerable side of him was new to her.
“Just give him a chance. That’s all I’m saying,” Jake says with a shrug and his hands up. He walks back towards his things, a sly grin on his face. Augustine watches as he turns around. Her ears raise again, her tail moving normally. She hates to admit it, but the anger in her body has subsided with a full night’s sleep. Now, all she has to hold onto is hurt. The question “why” keeps swimming in her mind. The only “chance” she will be giving is the opportunity for him to explain himself.
As she walks towards the shore, she notices Neteyam holding two ilus in the water. The water’s surface resting against his lower back and hip line. His back is towards her as his arm pets an unfamiliar ilu’s face and neck. Beside him, she recognizes the beautiful black ilu from yesterday’s lesson. This scene was so perfect. She wishes she could take a picture, but she settles on the memory.
“Neteyam,” Augustine calls out, as she begins to tread through the water. He turns around with a small, solemn smile. “This is your ilu,” he says softly as she finally joins him in the water. The water line meets half way up her stomach. Her eyes grow wide as she stares down at the incredible darkened ilu’s skin with flecks of blue and orange throughout its body.
With a huge smile on her face, Augustine looks back to Neteyam with eager eyes. It was enough to break his saddened smile, enough where his cheeks rose and squinted his vision. “She’s beautiful,” she says as her hand excitedly lands on his shoulder. “Ilu is not like ikran,” he shares as he nods, guiding her to step onto the ilu’s saddle. She giggled as she jumps onto the ilu. “She may have many riders in her lifetime,” he adds as he places a steady hand at her side. “But only one at a time.”
Her brow raised as her face turned towards him. She bites her lip, desperate not to say anything about “one at a time.” She will follow Jake’s advice, give him at least a chance to share the logic behind what happened yesterday. “Make the bond,” Neteyam says. He jumps onto his ilu with such grace. He gently tethers himself and with a quick smirk, he dives into the water.
Augustine excitedly reaches for her queue and bonds with the ilu. With any tsaheylu made, she feels a rush of energy as she connects with the incredible animal. The cool air through her lungs. The water no longer cold to the touch, now warm and comfortable. Follow, she thinks as the ilu dives under the surface. She feels an incredible sense of pleasure with being under water, more than ever before. It is like an unbelievable blanket of safety.
All of a sudden, she could see everything with such clarity. What she thought was beautiful before was a complete lie. There was so much more she was missing. The different variants of colors across the corals. Translucent fishes she never even saw before. The way the ocean water changes beyond the reefs. It is not as clear cut as before. She can see the layers, how and where the sea begins to change it’s colors. She cannot help but smile, taking it all in. She could stay underwater forever.
Her eyes finally fall upon Neteyam before her. He is so closely in tune with his ilu. They move together so easily it is unbelievable. His braids flow behind him. His legs strong and held perfectly against the saddle. In a single second, her mind wishes that she could be in front of him again - them both on his ilu. After the events of yesterday, she wants to go back and enjoy those times, as opposed to being incredibly annoyed. His arms are tight against his saddle’s notches. The strength he shows in his biceps catches her off guard. However, any time he is around, she feels an abundance of protection - not that she needs it.
And with her incredible love of underwater living and it’s beautiful sights, Augustine forgot to hold on tight against the notches of her ilu’s saddle. She begins to feel the power of the water rushing against her. The ilu must have felt every single moment of her excitement, in turn becoming excited herself. Her slim body swimming faster and faster with each second of awe and wonder. She begins to feel the water pull against her face. Her hair starting to pull, as opposed to being dragged behind her. She struggles to keep her eyelids open. Her grip loosening by each knuckle of her hand, until finally she is holding on for dear life with the tips of her fingers. And then…
Augustine falls off of her ilu. Pain shoots through her queue as her connection is ripped away. She tumbles against the ocean’s current and the current her ilu leaves behind. She spins and spins until she struggles to discern which way is up. Finally, she spots the sun. She involuntarily checks for where her tail is. After determining it is not caught, she places all her strength in swimming towards the glowing light.
In what felt like forever, she breeches the water with a huge gasping breath. Her arms splashing against the darkened water. She is far from the cove. She quickly looks around in an attempt to spot Neteyam. All she could see are the reefs, the large rocks springing from the waves, and Awa'atlu in the far far distance. How did she manage to get herself in another life-or-death situation?
Augustine calls out to her ilu, knowing that there is a good chance that she may never come. She sets out to slowly swim towards a small rock formation a third of the way to shore. She attempts to conserve her strength. She practices her breathing, just as Neteyam taught her. She trusts herself. She trusts her ability to get back to shore. Her mind never faltered, not once giving up hope.
Despite the crashing waves against her body, she pushes and pushes until she is finally able to land a swollen hand against the rock. With a growl, she crawls herself up the smoothed rock. Her breath harsh against its wet surface. "Shit," she whines as she pulls herself up to its very top. "Why does this keep happening?" she groans as she rests onto her back. Her eyes close as she lies beneath the sun's warm rays.
"Why does what keep happening?" Augustine hears. She quickly jumps up from her intended cat nap. She sucks her tongue against her teeth as she watches Neteyam climb atop the rock. He has both ilus resting beside them. "I thought I was stranded," she whispers, knowing he will make fun of her. She pulls her knees to her chest. She wraps her arms around her legs. "No," he laughs. "I was always right here with you, warrior princess." A smirk pulls to the side of his mouth. He sits down in front of her, crossing his ankles together with his knees up.
"So," Augustine starts as she pushes a strand of hair behind her ear. "Any notes, teach'?" Neteyam laughs to himself. His head pulls down before he looks back up at her. “One note,” he says, trying to sound formal. She laughs watching his ridiculous self. “Hold on tighter?” he suggests with a shrug. She rolls her eyes as they both laugh with an awkward decrescendo.
“I - uh,” Neteyam starts, but begins to shake his head. “I wanted to apologize for yesterday. I shouldn’t have kissed you.” Augustine’s brow raises, her lip pulls to one side. “And,” he says with a laugh under his breath in response to her expression. He clears his throat, attempting to be serious once again. “I’m sorry for how you found out about Pip. I’m sure that was all very confusing.”
She looks around, ready to ask the question she’s been holding onto for hours. She begins to notice several of the Metkayina in the waters, fishing and playing about - only a few meters away. She holds her head down. Some how him saying “Pip” brought all the pain and confusion back. He watches her with concern, desperately analyzing the little parts of her face that he can see. He struggles to keep himself from reaching out to her, holding her. “Why did you kiss me?” she mumbles against her knees. He hears her speak but cannot understand. “Can you say that again?” he says, crawling closer towards her. His hand naturally falls upon her forearm.
Augustine slowly raises her head to meet Neteyam’s worried eyes. “Why did you kiss me, Neteyam?” she asks clearly. He takes in a shaky breath as he breaks his gaze. After a short period of silence, she tightens her embrace around her knees. “I was happy,” he starts. She keeps her eyes down, but hangs onto each of his words. “I thought I lost you,” he recalls. A wince pulls across his face. Shaking it off, he continues, “I was so scared and then you woke back up and I was just so happy, I-I kissed you.”
She raises her eyes to look at him. Unsurprisingly, his explanation did not make her feel better. “So, it was an accident,” she reiterates, trying to understand. “Yes and no,” he answers. His heart pains to see her this way. It desperately calls for his arms to be around her. “I didn’t plan on it,” he shares. He bites his lip as he feels nerves tighten his chest. With his eyes on hers, he murmurs, “But it is something I’ve wanted since as long as I can remember.”
Augustine’s eyes quickly change from sadness to exciting curiosity. “What?” she says with a crack to her voice, nervous giggles escape her throat. A smile spreads across her face so quickly she places her hand over her mouth to hide it. “Augustine,” he says as he now sits in front of her. His hand holding hers. She watches his movements in awe, as though the unbelievable is transpiring before her very eyes.
“When I think of my future, all I see is you,” Neteyam whispers as he squeezes her hand. “All I’ve ever wanted was to be with you.” Her heart starts to pound as she watches him with wide eyes. The boy she’s known all her life. The one that never gave her the time of day when she played with the Sully children. The one who always watched her from afar. She always thought he hated her, or at the very least disliked her. With this new information, he rewrites their history.
Augustine shakes her head, dropping her hand from his touch. “How can you say all this when you are promised to P - to that girl?” she asks. Her mouth forms a thin line as her eyes become protective daggers against him. Neteyam smiles as he notes her unwillingness to speak her name. “I don’t love her,” he says. “I love you. I-I see you.” Her heart drops as she watches the sincere eyes of the boy before her. He slowly places a hand to her chest, another to her cheek. The entire world falls away. There is only the two of them. “I see you, Augustine,” he murmurs. “I always have.”
She looks down to his hand pressed against her chest. She feels the wind blowing through her hair, pushing her focus further onto the warmth of his palm. With a deep sigh, she attempts to speak. “Neteyam,” she begins. “I don’t want to hurt any more than I already do. I don’t want to watch you muntxa si that girl,” she says with disgust as her eyes well. He shakes his head, as his hands grasp hers. “No, Augustine, I won’t,” he says sternly. “You are promised, Neteyam,” she mutters as her eyes catch his again.
“I will break that promise,” Neteyam states with finality. “I completed my rites. I choose my mate.” He brushes his fingers against her cheek once again. “I choose you,” he coos. She leans into his touch, struggling to keep her tears in. This level of emotions is unfamiliar to her. Abruptly, he drops his hand from her face. She feels her body ache at the lack of his body against hers. “But you must choose me as well,” he murmurs. “And for you, I would wait a lifetime.”
A tear falls from Augustine’s eyelashes as she grabs hold of his hand and places it upon her chest once again. She watches as he scans her face. It leaves a smile upon his lips. With a rush of emotions, she places her hands behind his head and pulls him in for a deep kiss. She swears she sees sparks as soon as their lips touch. Her eyes close and she breathes in his air. Neteyam’s hand remains at her chest, while another wraps around her waist.
He gently guides her back down onto the rock as he rests lightly atop of her. She hooks her leg around his as his hands explore her soft hair. His tongue lightly brushed against her lips. As her lips instinctually separate, her tongue crashes against his in a bright and wonderful embrace. She loves how he feels. How he tastes. Her mind finally presents an imaginary future with Neteyam as her mate. How it was somehow always him. This feels unbelievably right. As his grip tightens around her body, she pulls him further on top of her. His braids tickle her cheeks as he presses firmly against her lips. His hand travels from her chest to her upper thigh. His movements so sensual and filled with love and adoration.
“Neteyam,” a wobbly familiar voice calls softly. His ears flatten as he immediately pulls from their kiss. Augustine’s eyes slowly open to see Pipxì standing over them. Her hands to her hips. Her tail tense. Her ears flattened and one side of her lip pulled. She feels vulnerable with her towering over her. Her gut screams at her to move, to move to a better defensive position but she is frozen with fear. “Pips, I can explain,” he calls after her. The act turns Augustine’s stomach.
Pipxì throws her hand towards him, cursing as she walks down the stone. She quickly calls for her ilu and dives into the water. Without a second thought, Neteyam jumps onto his saddle and rapidly sinks beneath the surface to chase her. Augustine is left alone on the rock, left with an unfinished feeling. She places her hand to her neck as her tears finally cascade down her cheeks. She feels Metkayina eyes on her, judging her from afar. They all bare witness to her embarrassing display of love with someone who has already been publicly promised to a great warrior’s daughter. If she had even the slightest chance to be fully welcomed into the Metkayina people, she has just lost it by disrespecting their traditions in front of them all. She has disrespected the all great Mother in their eyes. Her heart sinks to her stomach as she is still left with the unbearable question: Why?

Meyäi photos
So, with chapter 3 of Scandalous Consequences coming out next week, I decided to finally show all of you Meyäi and include some information about her. This is only how I envision her, if you wish to see her differently that is ok🥰
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Basic information: Meyäi is 20 years old and has always loved Aonung since they were little, but when the sullys came seeking uturu she shifted her sites to Neteyam instead. Her and neteyam were to be mated but before the ceremony, she snuck away to meet Aonung in the small forest on the island.
That was the night where she gave herself to Aonung and he gave himself to her. After that they went to the ceremony where she bonded with Neteyam.
After that whole ordeal, Meyäi didn’t want to risk getting caught so she called it off with Aonung. It was two weeks after that when you arrived and he decided to make his move on you even if he despised humans. He was that desperate.
Tumblr media
Extra information: She gets her bitchy attitude from her mother who was exiled for trying to sleep with the olo’eyktan(Aonung’s father). Her ilu’s name is rain and she loves her more than anything, Meyäi lived alone till Neteyam came along then she moved in with him since he got his own marui.
Once her and Neteyam split (they drink this sacred tea that makes the soul bond break between them. Yes I made it up shush😭) she moved into Aonung’s marui, tossing readers stuff out.

Tumblr media
When Neytiri and Jake saw you in a complete mess on Neteyam’s hands, they thought something bad happened with you in the water.
Kiri and Lo’ak explained what happened without hiding any details. Neytiri was so furious that she was ready to take her bow and fight this little ignorant boy. She knew that he was annoying her kids, but didn’t expect it to be as bad as it turned out. On the other hand, there was Jake. He was furious too, he knew that his attitude towards all situations when Ao’nung annoyed his kids caused it. He shouldn’t have told his kids to respect him just because he’s Olo’eyktan’s son. That was his fault.
“Tonowari must know what his son did.” Neytiri was crying like any mother who sees her child in pain. Especially that type of pain which you cannot see. “Ma Jake, tell something! We can’t let that go. My daughter is hurt and only Eywa knows if she’ll be able to heal!”
Jake looked at her and all his kids, who were waiting for his response. Neteyam was still holding you like a baby while you were sleeping. His daughter, his little yayo. He has to protect you.
“I’ll talk to Tonowari.”
“I’ll go with you.” Neytiri wanted to talk to Ronal and say her all this she had to carry inside of her soul since they arrived here.
Jake didn’t want her to come, he knew that she was extremely emotional now. He gave her a look asking if he’s sure it’s the right thing. Neytiri was determined to do that.
“Wait here, take care of your sister.”
***
“I’ll talk to him and he’ll be punished for his actions. I’m really sorry for what happened. I didn’t raise him this way. I hope Y/N will forgive him one day.”
Toniwari and Ronal were in a huge shock when Jake told them what Ao’nung did. The shame Olo’eyktan and his Tsahik felt wasn’t even close to the amount of pain Jake and Neytiri had to carry.
“Don’t ever let him come to my daughter again! If I notice him even thinking about coming to her, I swear I will not control myself.”
“Neytiri...” Jake didn’t want relationship with leader’s family to worsen.
“She’s right. He should stay away from her. I don’t want him to hurt an innocent soul again. I promise, we’ll look after him.” Ronal knew how Neytiri must feel herself now. “I promise as mother to mother. If you need help, tell me.”
Neytiri just nodded, she was still not over her emotions. But she was thankful for this. Ronal was the only one who could understand her at least a little.
***
It’s been two weeks since your breakdown. These two weeks you’ve been taken care by your whole family and you barely walked out of your Marui. You felt like you were dried out. No emotions at all. Jake and Neytiri were extremely worried about your mental state. You barely talked to anyone, even Kiri, and preferred to do things on your own.
Neteyam didn’t even think about keeping your lessons on ilu riding. He tried to catch your interest on other things, but nothing caught your eye. Even Tuk tried to ask you questions to talk just a little. You had no energy to keep the conversation and pay proper attention to your little sister.
“Let’s go find some seashells?” Tuk didn’t give up on you.
“Tuk, I have no strength to do that. I’m tired.” You felt really bad every time you refused Tuk, but you couldn’t help it.
“Neteyam and Lo’ak are hunting, Kiri as usually disappeared. Mom and dad don’t let me do there alone. Please, I need you.” She started whimpering and shaking your hand.
“Okay, okay. But only for 30 minutes.”
“Thank you, I love you! Best sister ever!” Seeing Tuk jumping in happiness and saying those words warmed your heart. You smiled a little at the scene of here trying to find her little bag for seashells.
Once you went out of your house, you squinted because of the sunlight. These two weeks definitely affected you. The warmth of the sun and brightness of azure water reminds you of how you loved Pandora.
Tuk was holding your hand and trying to hurry you up to the shore. It became her hobby since you arrived here. Each in your family has at least one bracelet she made out of shells.
“I’ll sit here, you can go. Call me if you need help.” You were sitting exactly as that day with Kiri. The feeling of light waves surrounding you, calmed you a little. You were watching Tuk swimming and looking for colorful seashells. Sometimes she was distracted by some fish. As you were supervising little sister, you fell deep into thoughts and remembered that day. Sadness you felt all these days became more explicit.
You don’t know how to explain this sadness and why you feel it. You should be angry, offended, but not sad. Ao’nung said horrible things to you, but you’re not angry. Why?
“Oh Great Mother, help me. Let me come over this. I want to be happy again.” You whispered to yourself, feeling the tear falling to the water.
“Y/N…?”
Him.
You feel nervousness raising up in your body. Eywa must be testing you. You’re afraid to turn your head to Ao’nung.
“Please, don’t do this to me again. I can’t bear it anymore.” Your voice was trembling a little, but it was enough for him to understand your state. Especially, when he finally looked at you. Your eyes were like a glass, but without even a little sparkle.
He was standing about 2 meters away from you to keep distance.
“Y/N, I wanted…”
“What are you doing here?!” Lo’ak was furious, walking briskly towards him.
“Bruh, why are you always here.” You heard Ao’nung mumbling it annoyingly. You didn’t wasn’t really worried about what’s going to happen. Feels like you’re a doll without real emotions.
“You’ve been told you to stay away from Y/N. Are you that yaymak? Do you need us to punch you again to understand it?” Your brother came to him as close as possible and pointed at his chest aggressively. Lo’ak just like Neytiri was ready to fight him.
“I wanted to talk to her… normally.” Ao’nung raised his hands as a sign of peace and tried to stay as calm as possible. Even though his fists were itchy to punch him. “I won’t hurt her”.
“I don’t care. You’ve talked to her already and you see the result. It’s her first time outside since the past two weeks. Don’t make it worse.” Lo’ak lowered his voice so you won’t hear their conversation. You didn’t really care and turned back to keep watching after Tuk. She didn’t notice things happening on the beach, she was involved in her hobby. Her little bag was already full of shells, but she wanted to get more.
“Hey, you finally wanted to get some sun?” In a couple if minutes Lo’ak was sitting next to you. He wasn’t mad anymore.
“No, Tuk asked me to. All of you were too busy to accompany her in finding seashells. I didn’t want to let her down.” You smiled a little, watching your sister smiling as she find another colorful thing.
“But…” you noticed Lo’ak hesitating about something.
“What’s wrong?”
“Never mind. I’m glad you’re finally getting out of Marui. We are forest Na’vis, not Marui Na’vis.” He chuckled a little at his own joke and you couldn’t help but do it too.
Maybe, it’s not that bad.
Thank you, Great Mother.
***
Another two weeks passed. Since that day each member of your family tried to take you outside. Now you go out on your own just to think about your feelings. You are still trying to stay away from water and haven’t swam yet, but you’ve been exploring the little forest that’s actually pretty comfortable. It reminds you of home and you don’t have to hold your breath or ride ilu here.
You can be yourself.
Now you play with fan lizards and even laugh a little. It’s kind of meditation. Spending time in your environment, your home, helps your mental state. Jake says that you shouldn’t go deep into forest and you assure him that you won’t, but sometimes you loose the track of time and forget about your promise. What this happens, Neteyam is always first who goes to find you.
You feel unity with Eywa. It’s your secret, sacred place. You have a little pond here, some fruits growing on the trees and silence. This is your little world free from all worries, free from reality. You fulfill your energy here and nobody interrupts you peace.
You were sitting on the thick branch, involved in making a little bracelet from beads for Tuk. She gifted you a lot of bracelets and necklaces she made. You want to pay her back.
Suddenly your senses catch someone’s presence. Nobody is supposed to find you. It’s afternoon and none of your family should be trying to find you. Leaving all things, you silently stood up and tried to hide behind the tree as Neytiri taught you. You looked behind your shoulder to check who’s that, your knife is ready to serve you.
You heard stranger’s steps coming closer to the tree. You were getting ready to attack, no unnecessary thoughts were in your mind. Just as mom taught you. This is your place, your forest.
Another step and you catch this person, pushing them to a tree and putting a knife to their neck.
“Holy shit!”
You look up. Why is he here?
“Ao’nung? What are you doing here?”
All your strength disappeared the moment you realized who’s standing in front of you. Fear replaced it, slowly taking control over you.
You’re alone, with him.
“No, no, no, Y/N”
You walked back, still holding your knife firmly to protect yourself, but your hands were shaking which made things obvious. You’re just like a little animal who’s afraid but has nothing to do but protect yourself as you can.
“Don’t…”
“Y/N, I wanted to talk to you. Please, let me speak.”
You were afraid to trust him. Because his words hurt you. You’re afraid to hear him speaking to you. But the way he looks at you, his eyes aren’t filled with anger. You take your time, considering his words.
Ao’nung was waiting patiently, he was afraid to do something wrong. Examining your concerned look, he prayed to Eywa for you to trust him. The effort he put to find you and go through this forest without being injured was enormous. Now he understands how hard it is for you to get used to Metkayina’s way of life. He should have thought about it before.
“Don’t come here again.”
And you left, leaving him alone in this forest.
“You are skxawng, Ao’nung.”
--------------------------------------------------------
P.S. There wasn't a lot of Aonung and y/n's conversations and I focused more on her recovery and feelings process, but I hope you liked it! Next parts will be more about Aonung and Y/N! Also, i'm not really sure how taglist thing really work, I hope I did it right🫣
Anyways, if you want to be tagged, comment and I'll add you!
Peace, friendship, bubblegum✌🏻💗
