So, I actually made the Rin and Haru back in like 2015, and I had intended to do Makoto, Rei and Nagisa then too, I had Makoto and Nagisa drawn, but they were sketched and left to collect dust. However, I’m gonna be an Artist at Otafest this year to help promote the comic series Daemons Venatus (Which you guys should check out and support!) And I decided, these are all still good, lets finally finish the set to sell!

So here we are. All the 5 Mains from Free! With Makoto now being my favourite hehehe. So cute!

Seriously folks. Take advantage of the Canadian dollar's lower value (0.76 USD to 1 CAD as of this reblog). Come visit our lovely country! If you're an unapologetic weeaboo come to @otafest (in Calgary) or Anime North (Toronto) or one of the many other conventions we have! Like nature? Holy shit you should come check out some of our national parks (like Banff National Park)! Like dinosaurs? Fuck yeah the Royal Tyrell Museum has a shit ton of dinosaurs!

(I'd name more eastern Canadian things to do but I'm woefully undereducated in that area)

But anyways. Come visit Canada. If you meet me here I'll buy you some maple syrup or something.

An open letter to all of my non-Canadian Tumblr-followers and friends

Hi there! First off, thanks for actually following me. You guys are pretty awesome.

As many of you are probably aware, the Canadian dollar isn’t doing too well right now. As of my writing this, $1 in US currency will get you $1.39 Canadian (which means that $1 CAD gets you 72 cents in USD). That sucks for us Canadians who want to visit other countries. That being said, visiting Canada is super inexpensive right now!

Let’s say you enjoy anime conventions (which is likely seeing as you follow me). There’s an anime convention in Calgary called Otafest that happens on the July long weekend (July 1-3). It’s a pretty awesome convention, if you ask me. And a full weekend pass is only $50 CAD! That comes to about $35.86 USD, which is pretty low for a full weekend at an anime convention (Sakuracon is currently 60 USD, while Anime Expo on the same weekend is $70 USD).

On top of that, literally everything else that you would need to get while you’re in Canada (transportation, food, lodging) would be in CAD, which means you can exploit our shitty dollar even more!

Yeah. Canada’s cheap as fuck to visit right now. You should come up and say hi. :)
