[wow, i haven’t done this in a while]

“Take this,” Zim ordered while pressing a packed bag against Dib’s chest. However the teen scowled in reply and didn’t make a move to grasp it.

“I’ll take it,” Gaz said and snatched the bag from her brother giving him a dirty look as she did so.

“We haven’t much time,” Zim repeated, his tone a touch more urgent than it had been before, then suddenly a deafening blast rocked the floor beneath them and Zim was shouting, “Go, go, go!”

Debris was filtering down on them as Zim hurried through the doorway leading the small family down the corridor that lead to the hanger. They had one chance.
