Ohhhhh Im afraid that the samevan (evsam?) shipping has infiltrated my brain...... I see people saying like "I like them platonic but I understand if you read it as romantic" and I feel like Im the opposite

Like if you read them as platonic, thats great, important to see even, but holy shit I feel like I'm seeing the romance bloom in real time

The fucking like.... I want to be someone who is easy for you to be around vs You already are, I need nothing from you but yourself dynamic is INSANEEEEEE. The complete willingness to put in endless amounts of effort for somebody because you love them so much, and the response of like, you are already doing enough, the very fact that you would be willing to do that means you are already a person who I want to spend my time with. The fact that they SEE each other through their own worst fears, that Evan takes Sam seriously and that Sam doesn't think Evan is bad to be around. And that when he fucking DIED, the one person he trusted to be emotionally vulnerable with was her and they fucking like, experienced being within each others minds and seeing each others innate hopes and worries?? And Im supposed to just feel like theyre really chill and platonic after that? All Im sayingggggggggg

If they're platonic or not canonically doesn't actually matter to me because I love them both ways, but this feels different from even the deepest platonic friendships that we usually see
