I am new to writing so I am doing my three favourites instead. Rules are meant to be bent, or so I tell myself.

Famous Last Words - (Feyd / Paul, Dune) This is my first multi-chapter fic. The premise is AU, what would happen if Paul lets Feyd live at the end of their duel. In this story the boys explore their relationship and figure out how it fits into the new world order. Warning: mature audiences, please look at the tags

Of Blossoms and Whispers - (Feyd / Paul, Dune) This one is inspired by my love of Jane Austen, Bridgerton, the Victorian language of the flowers as well as an accidental courtship AU prompt I saw somewhere. Definitely more on the fluffy side of things, but there is some angst present.

The unconvincing mimic - (Feyd / Paul, Dune) A very chaotic, crack flavoured modern AU. The premise being what if Paul adopts a cat and that cat ends up being Feyd. It's also turning quite fluffy. Some mild stalking.

Pulling up my ao3 statistics made me realise how infrequently I've been posting fics after 2022, but that's fine because I've been on my poetry grind heh. Anyway here are my 10 fics (discounting translations which aren't representative of my writing style):

His face had paled unnaturally, or gone ghost as Charles would call it, whenever he lost focus enough that his form fizzled like static on an analogue telly with bad connection.

Upon his death, Charles Rowland had been on the edge of seventeen and deeply distracted by the pretty faces he met in passing.

Jason creeps quietly through the backstage corridors, muscle memory carrying him up two flights of stairs to the grey door at the top.

10. Exit Strategy | DCU | Rose Wilson & various characters

Time moves quickly. Between one breath and the next, an infinitude of possibilities rise and die, most of them gone before you can even blink.

Is there a pattern? I guess I write from the limited 3rd person pov a lot and it shows in the in media res types of opening lines/paragraphs. I really like the instances here where I opened with a sense of setting (time and place) though. Maybe I should do that more in the future.

Caitlyn has a multitude of piercings which she has done over the years. In Piltover, the number of piercings you have is often a sign of wealth and nobility, though Caitlyn often uses her piercings as a means of subversion against the societal system. Many use it to show off their wealth, wearing the most expensive earrings in real gold, gaudy fashion or to prove just how wealthy it is.

Caitlyn, on the other hand, often wears small jewelry and very rarely is the jewelry expensive. The most expensive one she has is a set of sapphires, which was a gift from her mother. Despite it all, she did appreciate this one gift from her mother and so she wears them because, for one, her mother not only thought of her but also got her a set of earrings that while expensive, are small in variation.

The other earrings though, were designs with a moon or feathers with her affinity to birds. But also, they are made with strong metal that doesn't stain or infect the ear. The silver metal also is relatively cheap in terms of wealth and a lot of nobles question why Caitlyn would wear something considered "cheap". The irony is, when Caitlyn bought the items, she bought them for three times as much as they were worth to help those who crafted them for her, but still bought something that a normal person could.

The first piercing was her lobe and the upper lobe. Her lobe was pierced when she was 5 years old, and then her upper lobe was done when she was 11. when she was 15 she decided to get the helix and rook piercing done. At 18, she got her belly button pierced and then at nineteen, she got her nipples pierced.

Translates to Talia. An alien from a far away planet in the distant galaxy of Shao. (Galactic names not locked down just yet.) She's part of a small lineup of otherworldly OCs, whether they be from other planets, space in general, or partially/totally unexplored areas of the Earth (such as the Challenger Deep) Synopsis: Her father was an explorer who dedicated his life to the craft. He was famous on their planet for having mapped out countless galaxies, and even making the dangerous journeys on a couple more hostile places. Naturally, Talia ended up growing her own interest in galactic exploration. She, with the help of her father's findings, and a few of his friends in the ⟟⟒⍀☊, or IERC (Interstellar Exploration and Relations Committee - basically their NASA), they discovered the existence of other life in the galaxy, on a planet dubbed by the locals "Earth". After determining it's hostility rating to be juuuust low enough to not have to walk back the entire idea, she boarded one of their ships and made her way to the planet to document her findings, on it's life, customs, etc. The little device in her hand is a data pod she uses to record her findings and communicate (albeit very limited) with her homeworld. She doesn't speak English (or any other language here) yet, but can learn bits and pieces by "reading someone's heart" Personal details: Relatively young for her kind 5'5 Very curious, a little cautious, yet somehow still reckless at the same time Has powers relating to her two extra eyes and her horns
