Oh no ... oh, no, no, no ... Visage's greatest weakness has arrived--cute animals. Who could refuse a face like that?! She crouches down in front of the sharkdog with a broad smile. "Well, hey there, fella. Whatcha doin' here? Want some lovies, is that it?" She can't even help it, her voice goes up several pitches as she talks to Vark, rubbing her hands all over his head, neck and chin. "Whose a good boy, huh?!"

🏠 - What does their living space look like?

It tends to be very organized; I do prefer being able to find whatever I may require. I do not own many actual clothes for obvious reasons, thus I do not need much space in a wardrobe myself. I keep weapons, the cryo-suit's less vital additions and more work-related things inside the lab, however, for I would rather not mix both my personal life and what I do, as ironic as it may be. I do possess a few books which I keep in our room, and the more necessary objects for emergencies, regarding my condition.

Another package from Carmine Industries arrives, this one much smaller and delivered directly to Visage’s home, rather than the club. Inside is a single pistol and several preloaded mags. The pistol is immaculate, shining with a deep metallic purple finish and possessing the Grimfang symbol rendered in black on each side of the barrel. A note within the package says this a rare blessed weapon, possessing enough power to end all but the most powerful beings in creation. It thus includes a warning to try not to piss off the Sins or the Morningstars.

Honestly, Visage is genuinely surprised when she returns to her apartment behind the club that night to find a box sitting on her back doorstep. This ... was unusual, to say the least. Picking it up, she's quick to notice the Carmine Industries logo on the surface--this is even more odd, as she had already gotten that month's shipment from the other Overlord. So what is this all about...?

With a thoughtful hum, she carries the package inside. Locking the door behind her, she sets the box down upon the bed and begins to open it ... unveiling that intricately-crafted firearm in all its artistic glory. Her jaw practically drops as she stares at it for several moments before she even dares to touch such a masterpiece. As carefully as though it were made of glass, she lifts the gun from its packaging, looking it over in sheer awe. She already has her suspicions about the weapon, but as she reads over the included note ... each and every one is confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt. She can scarcely believe what she's holding. In an instant, she carefully sets the weapon down and gets her phone out to hurriedly send out a text to Carmilla's number. [Text]: Uhhhhhh Carmine??? Holy fuck what's the special occasion???

There was a harsh moment of silence as Beth sat still, her gaze looking at her lap as her thin fingers gently tapped away at her upper lip. Such a choice was rather difficult, even with the differences her and Summer had shared. Both were her offspring, both she loved endlessly…but like everything in life, there was always one she loved more than anything.

“Morty.” Beth whispers, the harsh truth leaving her lips as her arms wrapped around her, the soft blue hues shifting away. It was the dynamic between both Morty and her, versus Summer and her. It was rather unfortunate the relationship Summer and Beth had, but it was just the way things had always been…But Morty, well he had shown Beth unconditional love and support when she needed it most whilst Summer just wanted to look down on Beth for every mistake she had made, even when she admitted it to her daughter and wanted to make things better. Judgement would never leave her side if she chose Summer, but with Morty there was a chance of a life filled with more love and acceptance.

A crate of weapons has arrived for Visage, along with a bill and a note of encouragement.

The Overlord oversees the arrival of the crate as her mercs bring it around the back of the club. Approaching it, she spots a second folded piece of paper alongside the expected bill. Raising one of her brows slightly, she picks it up and opens it to read its contents. Slowly, a soft smile drifts across her muzzle and the faintest of wags comes to her tail. It was nice getting a random bit of reassurance when you need it the most--even when you don't realize at the time just how much you need it.
