Tumblr media
Okay, I'm sure you're all tired of my bullshit at this point but I've got some good news and bad news! The good news is that everything is going well in life, my health is improving and legs are managing better these days with a healthier diet, exercise and support stockings. The BAD news is, well... guess who's been asked to take on not only extra hours over summer but extra days as well? Das rite, this stupid bitch.
Tumblr media
So yeah. That's my schedule, for the next 8 weeks. I've decided if I'm going to get any writing done, I'll be very quiet on discord and IM. Sundays and Wednesdays I'll have days off and will likely be more talkative but as I'm expected to look after family and do chores in the morning before work, I'll have to squeeze in what writing I can. Less memes bullshit, more actual replies so apologies in advance for going quiet until September. In the meantime, I'll be sure to stalk you all and send you stuff from time to time! I'll have to hold off on Roman and Kirk a little longer unless the mood strikes for some reason but Roman is definitely getting a remake at some point this year. Will be able to enjoy some breathing space for a couple of months before Christmas starts.

but imagine rodrick playing some arctic monkeys songs w his band okay! okay!
Arabella
Why the fuck were they so loud? Every single night for the last week my stupid neighbor had his stupid band round. And I had to listen to their stupid music every night. Not as if I tried to it was just so intrusive no matter what volume I'd play my own music in my own room (at least I understand privacy) nothing was able to drown out the sound of the band next door.
They weren't bad, but nowhere near good. I think they had a 28 year old playing with them at one point. Weirdos.
Three of the boys are in my year at school. Another two were in the year above and then there was the old dude. I never openly speak to the ones at my school but it's hard to ignore a certain tall brunette boy. I mean especially since I live next door to him.
We've both lived here since the start and I think I've spoken to him ten times in sixteen years. Good. He's kinda a dick. A good looking dick. But still, a dick.
I let it slip once to my friends when we were drunk and after everything that night THAT was what they remembered. I loved my group but they never let me live it down.
I was just about to give up trying to listen to music when I heard my favourite song. But Spotify wasn't playing it. Those stupid boys were. And what was the loudest. The drums. Great.
From out my window I could see just inside their garage and of course he was looking straight up to my window. Straight up into my eyes. And he fucking winked. FUCKING WINKED. I'd never forget that.
The next day at school I couldn't keep my eyes off him. I'm not stupid, I didn't get caught though. At least not by him. My friend belle did catch me. "I knew it, I fucking knew it. You don't just think he's hot, you like him."
"okay, calm down, I do not want him hearing anything but come to the bathrooms with me, I'll tell you a story."
There was a few girls in the bathrooms, all of them were younger so I wasn't bothered about them spreading things around because I doubt they even knew my name. I told belle what happened and when I told her that he winked at me she nearly screamed. "I'd fall in love, straight away. On. my. knees."
"You can have him if you'd like?"
"Would never dream of ruining my one true pair, make my your maid of honour." I rolled my eyes, laughing. "I'll start dress shopping huh?"
The afternoon went by and my parents were still at work so I had to walk home. Well, half the way. I'd been walking for around 10 minutes when his stupid van slowed down next to me. "Hop in, I'm on my way home now."
"I'm fine."
"I said hop in." I did. Truthfully I wanted to drive with him since I saw that painted van lazily parked outside his house. "You heading straight home?"
"Oh yeah, my parents aren't in so I need to get there so they know where I am you know?"
"I know. You liked our song, played it for you if you didn't guess."
"Oh the wink was enough of a clue, how'd you know then?"
"That it was your favourite? I've got friends of friends...a girl called belle?"
"I'm going to kill her."
"Awh don't do that you'll be no fun in prison, I wouldn't be able to see you." I'm no blusher but I felt like a traffic lights, bright and red.
Thankfully we were outside my house two minutes later so I didn't feel awkward for long. "Hey, don't forget to listen our for us tonight!"
"I wouldn't be able to miss it if I piled bricks on top of myself." I replied smiling. Fuck, why am I smiling, I don't like this. Too sappy. He laughed, getting out of his van, walking towards his front door, turning around, winked and went inside. How did he do it so casually? Two nights in a row now, and I'm sure even five years later that wink would kill me.
As soon as I got upstairs I called belle. "Belle, he told me. You traitor. Belle, I'm weakening. Ten year old, hunger games reading, Katniss Everdeen lover would be disappointed in me Belle, help."
"Okay calm down before you write a letter to Suzanne herself explaining how you like a guy and therefore you're not "badass", what's going on."
"So I was walking home and Rodrick himself drives up to me tells me to get in his van to drop me off home. He told me that's you told him I think he's hot, well not exactly that but it's all your fault I'm a dying woman."
"I did you a favour god knows you never would have told him yourself."
"Good, I wanted to keep it that way."
"You'll thank me in a few years, anyway I was thinking red velvet wedding ca-" I hung up on her and a second later I received a message.
how dare you hang up on me young lady.
shut up, love ya.
talk to him.
never.
ur loss.
My mum came home at six and my dad at half seven, we had pasta for tea, I went upstairs and five minutes later it was playing again. Arabella. But it wasn't the same person singing this time. I looked out my window and the sight practically killed me. Rodrick Heffley. Singing. And again. WINKING. God this was going to be a long week.
Wednesday, 7th April.
The start of everything.
"Y/n. what do you have first?" I was talking to belle when I heard his voice behind me, what's better? what's scarier? His head on my shoulder from behind. Belle smirked at me and I went still. "Um maths...I think."
"Maths sucks, same though. Hey belle, we'll be going now, won't we?" He asked looking at me. Before I could answer I was walking alongside him, looking back to find belle waving at me with a sweet smile. Her friend Charlie next to her now. I saw him ask her "they finally a thing?"
"Dunno, let's see how today goes." she replied.
"So y/n, tonight around five pm, I'll come to your house and I'll ask if you wanna come over to mine, listen to music, watch something, whatever you like, and tell me what you'll say because if it's no then I'll leave right this second, if it's yes then my hand might find its way around your shoulder or into yours. okay?"
"I'd say yeah, let me get a jacket."
"Good, but I'd give you mine."

Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)- Rafe Cameron
Tumblr media
(Not my gif, credit to the owner!)
Summary: Based on Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head) by Powfu and Beabadoobe
Word count: 3,181
Warnings: (Lung) Cancer, hospitalization, cursing, sadness, mentions of death, death.
I sobbed writing this I'm not gonna lie
Don't stay awake for too long, don't go to bed. I'll make a cup of coffee for your head, I'll get you up and going out of bed.
Rafe Cameron sat there in the doctor's office, his eyes glazed over and his jaw slacked as the doctor stared at him with a pitied look. Six words repeated in his mind, 'you have stage four lung cancer'. He was only 22, how did this happen so soon?
He rubbed his hands over his face vigorously, cracking his knuckles after he stopped. "How long do I have?" "Some people don't survive more than 12 months, and if you're lucky, the latest I've seen is 5 years but that's with every single treatment."  He flared his nostrils as he held back his tears, he wanted to be around one person and one person only; you.
Rafe showed up at your door after his appointment, a bouquet of rose's in his hand and a card in the other. You grinned at his kind gesture, your heart swelling with joy. He thought he would have to plaster a smile on his face, but the moment he saw you, a genuine smile appeared on his face. For the slightest moment, he forgot that he was dying.
You two spent the night together, cuddling and watching movies. Rafe held you close to him, his fingers skimming every part of your body, wanting to relish the feeling of you under his fingers. He checked the time and realized it was 3 in the morning and he was still awake.
You shifted in your spot before turning your body to face his, your hand reaching up and combing his blonde locks out of his face. "Don't stay awake for too long baby, you need rest." You mumbled, half asleep. "I know, I know. I just have a bad headache." He lied. Truth is, he wanted to stay awake and just admire how you looked next to him, curled up in his chest, allowing him to see your natural beauty.
"I'll make you a cup of coffee in the morning and I have plenty of ibuprofen to share." You grinned, pressing a delicate kiss to his neck. "Goodnight, my love." He whispered as he kissed your forehead in return, watching you fall back into your sleep.
I don't wanna fall asleep, I don't wanna pass away. I've been thinking of our future 'cause I'll never see those days.
Rafe rubbed his eyes with his hands as he yawned, today was his third day without sleeping. He told you that he just kept waking up in the middle of the night but eventually he did go back to sleep. You believed him, offering any help to find resolutions but he politely denied them.
Truth was, everytime he fell asleep he had dreams about your future with him. The most recent one he had was of you two, married with two children. You two had moved out of the Outer Banks, wanting a new start. In this dream, he survived the cancer so he wanted a fresh start. Away from the toxic memories he had from that town.
It pained him every time he had a thought about your future, at least what he wanted your future with him to be. He wanted to make you so happy, he wanted to be the reason you woke up every morning and vice versa. You were his everything, and it killed him to know that soon it would come to an end.
I don't know why this has happened but I probably deserve it. I tried to do my best but you know that I'm not perfect.
You sat down on the couch, legs criss crossed as Rafe paced back and forth in front of you. He was mumbling to himself as you sat there confused, trying to calm down the nerves you knew he had. You didn't know what was going on which only worried you.
"Rafe, baby just sit next to me and talk to me." He sat down next to you, his elbows resting on his knees, terrified to look you in the eyes. You scooted closer to him and grabbed one of his hands, "breathe." Was all you said before he closed his eyes, deeply inhaling and exhaling for a few seconds before turning and looking at you.
You could finally see how scared he was, he looked like he hadn't slept, his eyes were pink and watery, the bags under his eyes were a light purple. You turned your body to face him, "Rafe, what's wrong?" He turned to you, mirroring the way you were sitting. "I have stage four lung cancer."
His words felt like you fell face first in cement from a fifty foot drop. "W-what?" You stuttered, your voice just above a whisper. He nodded his head as he watched your eyes release tears. Your mouth fell open but you quickly covered it with your hand. You tried to speak but the only sound you could make was a gasping sound, like a fish out of water.
"I have maybe 12 months to live." Your mouth was dry, your heart felt like it was somehow racing and stopping at the same time. Your world felt like it fell out of space and shattered. You wanted to know how long he knew, but it didn't matter. Moral of the story was that you wanted him to live a good life for as long as he lived, and that's what you were gonna do.
You didn't say anything, you simply crawled to him and straddled his lap. Your arms wrapped around his neck and he held your waist, allowing you two to cry into each other’s necks. He held you like if he were to let go, you would disappear forever.
“I got you Rafe, I got you." Your hand reached up and entangled itself in his hair, gently massaging it. "Why did this have to happen? Right when I was finally feeling happy." He screamed into your neck.
"I don't hunny. I don't know." You whispered.
I've been praying for forgiveness, you've been praying for my health. When I leave this Earth, hoping you'll find someone else.
Rafe turned his head to look at you, making sure you were fast asleep before he slowly got out of bed. Replacing his body with a pillow, he snuck out of the room and outside of your house.
He made his way to the backyard and sat down on the grass, laying back as he looked up at the stars. He took a deep breath before speaking out loud. "Hi, uh- God. I don't know how this works, I don't know how to pray or even if you're up there, but if you are I need you to hear what I have to say."
A star above him shined brighter for a split second before disappearing behind a cloud. "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for the disrespectful and disgusting teenager I was. I'm sorry for all the horrible things I did to my body. I'm sorry for the crimes I committed and never got caught. I admit to everything I have done wrong, I understand why you're taking it out on me. But please, leave Y/N out of this. She is the light of my life, the reason I was able to find happiness. Please don't take my actions out on her, make her fall out of love with me or something. Just...just something to ease her pain. Please."
Rafe was out at the grocery store, leaving you plenty of time to head over to the neighborhood church. You walked out of your car with sunglasses on so people couldn't see your red and watery eyes. You excused yourself as you shimmied through a small group of people.
You walked into the chapel and sat down in one of the pews. You removed your sunglasses before looking up at the front of the room. You let out a puff of air before speaking out loud. "Hi, God. I really don't know what I'm doing or why I'm even trying to talk to you. But I just, I'm so desperate and I just need your help. Please, please help Rafe. Help him at least live longer than a year, he wasn't the best person when he was a teenager, you know that. But he's changed into a whole new person, he knows how he was before and he hates it now. Please help him recover through this, help him pull through because I need him here. He was the one I was supposed to marry, the one who would be the father of my children, the one to help give me my happy ending. Please."
When I leave this Earth hoping you'll find someone else, 'cause yeah, we're still young there's so much we haven't done.
You shook your head at Rafe's words as you wiped your tears away with your hands. "No, there's no way." You cried out. He grabbed both your wrists and made you look at him. "Y/N, you have to listen to me. I don't want you to grieve or mourn, I want you to keep going. Find a new love, I don't want you to be alone. You need to find a new love, start a new story with them. Please baby, I beg you."
You squeezed your eyes closed, your throat felt like it was slowly shutting. Your heart felt like it had been stabbed after hearing his words. You knew he had a point, you knew you couldn't mourn over him the rest of your life, but just hearing it so soon pained you more than you could ever imagine.
Getting married, start a family, watch your husband with his son. I wish it could be me but I won't make it off this bed.
Another night where Rafe couldn't sleep, this being his 6th one in a row. He looked at you while you slept and admired the way the moonlight entered the window. The way the light cascaded down your face, highlighting some of your facial features.
He slept maybe an hour, however he had a dream that woke him up. He dreamed that you got married to another man, watching as he took care of your son. He felt his heart pang with pain knowing that would be the harsh reality they would soon have to face.
It felt like his body was there, he knew he was there, but it felt like his soul was floating out of him as he watched you be happy with a random stranger. He watched as you scooped your son up in your arms, spinning around as he let out cheerful giggles.
Rafe watched your husband who looked just as happy as you did. He hated that you were happy with someone else, but he knew you would be in good hands with your husband. He just had to pray that you'll meet someone who loves you just as much as he did.
I hope I go to heaven so I see you once again. My life was kinda short but I got so many blessings. Happy you were mine, it sucks that it's all ending.
Rafe had spent the next few months trying to make up for some of the shitty things he did in his teen years. He's been donating to the pour, volunteering at local shelters and soup kitchens, randomly picking garbage up from the highway. He was trying to do anything and everything to make sure he could go to heaven.
He had no clue if heaven or hell were real, but if they do exist he would do anything he could to make sure he got into heaven. After he dies, he knew that was his one chance to see you again. He knew one day he would wake up on the other side and you would be there, running to him to give him the hug both of you had been desperately craving.
I'm happy that you're here with me, I'm sorry if I tear up. When me and you were younger, you would always make me cheer up.
You softly knocked on the hospital room door, walking through the doorway with a tray of cafeteria food. "Hey baby, I brought you a sandwich and blue jello." He smiled at you, "my favorite." He subtly laughed before coughing harshly. You rushed over to his side and placed the tray down, grabbing one of the napkins to wipe away the small drops of blood that escaped his mouth.
"I got you baby, it's okay." You mumbled, passing him a glass of water as his coughing died down. You sat down in the seat next to him, watching him poke his sandwich before taking a small bite out of it. He sighed before dropping the sandwich back onto the plate, his eyes already crying. He sniffled as he covered his face with his hands, ashamed to be in the spot he was in right now.
You reached forward and grabbed onto his hand, rubbing his knuckles with your thumb as he tightened his grip. "I'm so sorry." He whispered. You shook your head trying to fight back your tears. "Don't apologize baby, I'm right here." "And I'm so fucking happy you are."
You held his hand, looking down at his fingers as you played with them. "Remember back in 8th grade when I got into a really bad argument with my dad after he married Rose? I was so angry and upset, and I ran right to your house. But you were right there to help me, you cheered me up in a matter of seconds of me being with you. That was one of the first times I truly knew how happy you made me." He recalled the memory, thinking about it like it was yesterday.
Taking goofy videos while walking through the park. You would jump into my arms every time you heard a bark.
You pulled up your snapchat and pressed record. You and Rafe decided to go to the local park to just go on the playground equipment. There was nobody around, even if there was when you were with him you felt like you two were the only ones there.
You recorded the video as Rafe pushed you on the swing set, you turned the camera to face you, zooming in on the large smile on his face. You pumped your legs up, accidentally kicking him in the stomach. The video got the whole thing and his reaction. You jumped off the swing and turned around to see him hunched over and groaning.
"Oh my god, I am so sorry!" You quickly apologized, trying to help him stand up straight. He laughed loudly, his bright smile never left his face. "That was so fucking funny!" You joined him in laughing, enjoying the moment. He held you closely by the waist as you held his elbows. "God, I am so in love with you." He muttered before pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
"Okay shut up that was one time and it was a dare!" You defended yourself, jokingly pushing his shoulder. He brought up the story about how you ran down the block fully naked one night in senior year. Your laugh stopped the moment you heard a loud bark echoing in the distance.
Your hand quickly reached down to grab his as your head turned in different directions to see where the sound came from. Rafe stopped walking and stood in front of you. "Hey, hey it's okay. It was just a dog." You nodded your head before letting out a shaky breath.
His free hand reached up and held the side of your face, "I got you Y/N. I won't let anything hurt you."
Cuddle in your sheets, sing me sound asleep. And sneak out through your kitchen at exactly 1:03.
You hushed Rafe as he whispered to you. Rafe had been your boyfriend for the last 2 months, however you hadn't told your parents about him yet which meant sneaking around if you wanted to be with him. You figured out a way to sneak him into your house without your parents knowing.
He tiptoed into your room before flinging himself onto your bed. He wasted no time in wrapping himself in your sheets, his arms wide open waiting for you to join him. You laid down next to him, watching as he looked at you with puppy eyes and his bottom lip pouting. "Which song tonight?" He thought for a minute, "Fix You by Coldplay."
You shifted in your spot so Rafe could rest his head on your chest, your hand reached yo to play with his hair. "When you try your best but you don't succeed…" you quietly sang to him. You continued until you heard his soft snores escape his lips. You shut your eyes and allowed yourself to fall asleep with him.
You were woken up by the feeling of his lips against yours, mumbling 'wake up' against them. "I'm awake." You muttered, rubbing your eyes. "I gotta head home."  You nodded before flinging the sheets off of your body. You held his hand in yours before quietly opening your bedroom door. You led him down the halls and to your garage door.
He spun you around so you could face him, his hands finding your waist as you roped your arms around his neck. "See you tomorrow?" He questioned, "absolutely." You leaned forwards and kissed him softly, your lips hovering over his for a second.
"Goodnight handsome."
Soon you'll be alone, sorry that you have to lose me.
It's been 12 months, Rafe was admitted into the hospital at the beginning of month 11. It happened when Rafe broke into a coughing spit that ended up with him spitting up splatters of blood. You weren't ready when that happened, you knew that that was the beginning of his end and that terrified you.
"Y/N?" He whispered, you sat up from your seat and stood next to him. "Yeah baby?" "Can you kiss me?" Your heart clenched at how soft his voice was. "It would be my honor." You grinned as he let out a weak laugh. Leaning down you cupped the side of his face and passionately kissed him.
You pulled away from him, not even knowing about the tears that rolled down your face. "My eyelids feel heavy." He admitted, knowing this might be his last day. You held the side of his face, watching as his eyes slowly fell shut and his heart monitor slowed down. "No no, Rafe look at me. Keep your eyes open." You begged.
"I love you Y/F/N Y/L/N, forever and always." He whispered before his eyes fell shut. The room went silent except for the sound of the monitor flat lining, fear running through your veins. "Doctor!"

My top OT7 Smut Recs!
Fic Recs in a Fic
Much love to @noona-la-la-la @tayegi @softyoongiionly @fortunexkookie @gukslut @honeymoonjin @yminie for being amazing writers!
Jungkook arrived at his wardrobe appointment just past two o'clock. He never minded coming in, truth be told he had developed a bit of a crush on his Clothing Stylist.
Her pretty smile and contagious laugh frequently caught his eye as the fashion team stood together chatting and laughing. He wondered what they were constantly amused by, happy giggles surrounded them even after long days. They were totally off limits but that didn't stop all the boys from thinking about them now and again.
"Hey JK," she smiled sweetly, "I know we were just going to do casual wear today but your new suits just arrived. Do you want to get them all done now or do you have to be somewhere?"
Suit fitting day meant extra touching, she'd be running her hands over his chest and up his inseam. "Yeah we can get it done today, I don't mind spending some extra time with you."
"Great! I'm just going to run downstairs and grab them from receiving, I'll be back up in a few minutes." Grabbing the rolling rack she pushed her way out the door.
Casually looking around as he waited, he picked up the steamer and playfully shot it a few times.
Just about to see how hot it would be on his face, he heard the distinct sound of Jimin's "Excuse me!" Puzzled, he looked around, he was still alone. Convinced he was hearing things he went back to the steamer, "Excuse me!" It was coming from a phone...her phone...sitting there unlocked.
He knew he shouldn't look, he knew it was wrong, but when he heard "Excuse me!" again he had to look.
✂️ Noona: I just finished with Yoongi.
✂️ Noona: Made him a blonde and fuck he looks good.
✂️ Noona: I wore a low cut blouse, caught the dirty boy looking 🤭
Jungkook's eyes got bigger in disbelief, the Noonas talked like this...about them? He couldn't resist, he figured he had about 5 mins before she'd be back. Quickly choosing select all text, he copied, plugged in his own number, pasted, sent and deleted his message once he'd heard his own notification go off. Setting her phone back down, the anticipation of reading the messages had him both nervous and excited.
The door pushed open as she walked through it backwards tugging the rack inside of the room. "Your phone went off a few times while you were gone Noona," he said with big eyes. "Your notification threw me off a little, is Jimin your Bias?"
Her face went pale, that was the notification sound for her smutty Noona Group Chat, come to think of it he never really used the term Noona with her, what had he seen?
"No Kookie, I'm definitely 0T7," she dismissively laughed.
He held his phone in his hand looking at the text that was begging to be read. "I uh, just got a message from Joon, emergency group meeting, I'm afraid we'll have to reschedule."
Taking his leave he headed straight back to his apartment, he couldn't wait to read these messages.
___________________________________
Laying back on his couch he opened the message. The group chat was called BTS Noonas and it seemed it was between the 3 stylists heading each department.
👔 Clothes Noona ✂️ Hair Noona and 💄Makeup Noona
Licking his lips he was eager to read on.

💄Noona: ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I just found this online, I told you that outfit was an abomination! Even the fans are writing about it.
J Hope Flight 18 @noona-la-la-la
✂️ Noona: Just happened to find that online huh? You were looking up Hobi smut, admit it.
👔 Noona: Yes, I told him to wear it. No, I didn't tell him to wear it 2 days in a row without a shirt.
👔 Noona: This story fits...I asked him why he wore it again and he couldn't give me an answer. He's such a player.
💄Noona: I'd join the mile high club with him. I've had way too many dirty thoughts on those long flights.
✂️ Noona:  So since we're sitting here waiting for them to finish shooting what else can we find….?
💄 Noona: Alright, I'll admit it...I've got a few saved. You know what Jimin does to me…
Jimin Fuck, Marry or Kill @tayegi
👔  Noona: Ahhh, poor little Jimin ssi, always so insecure 💔
✂️ Noona: No way, he is always the one who hits on me the most. I bet he fucks like there's no tomorrow.
💄Noona: Agree, when he wants something he gets super aggressive. But really FMK..answers please!
👔 Noona: Fuck Kookie, Marry Jin, Kill Jhope
✂️ Noona: Fuck Taehyung, Marry Yoongi, Kill Jin
💄Noona: Fuck Jimin, Marry Joon, Kill Jungkook
👔 Noona: So if Jimin is a switch let's talk about our little subs! I think we all agree on Yoongi and Jin?
Yoongi Sugar Plum Fairy Lights  @softyoongiionly
Jin A Bonding Experience @fortunexkookie
✂️ Noona: And Dom's, we don't all share the same preferences. What I wouldn't let Taehyung do to me….💦 That boy is a freak in the sheets GUARANTEED
Tae Fun And Games @gukslut
💄Noona: But we all know Joon would be a first class lover.
RM Sexual Healing @honeymoonjin
👔 Noona: Is he though? He probably gets lucky by tripping and falling into some vagina. Not exactly as smooth in real life as in fiction.
✂️ Noona: OR are you just completely Jungkook biased? We all know what you're thinking when you're on your knees tailoring his pants.
👔 Noona: I'm not going to deny it! I may have gasped out loud the first time I "accidently" grazed it. This one seems accurate...
Kookie Vaunt @yminie
👔 Noona: Jungkook keeps watching us, maybe we're having too much fun.
💄 Noona: How exactly are we supposed to keep working now?
✂️ Noona: Break time is over ☹️ back to business. If you find any other good ones post later!
___________________________________
👔 Noona: Fitting with my baby 🐰 today!
✂️ Noona: I've got Yoongles for hair and my best lacy bra on.
💄Noona: Fuck I've got nothing, have fun and report back.
___________________________________
✂️ Noona: I just finished with Yoongi.
✂️ Noona: Made him a blonde and fuck he looks good.
✂️ Noona: I wore a low cut blouse, caught the dirty boy looking 🤭
___________________________________
Jungkook couldn't believe what he'd just read. It was hard to imagine that these dirty things were running through her head. He thought only guys said, and fantasized about things like this but he couldn't deny he was turned on.
Clicking her contact name he sent a message.
JK:  I'm sorry for having to leave earlier, can we try again tomorrow?
👔 Noona: Absolutely, I hope everything is ok?
JK: Never better, see you soon.
Jungkook came in smiling, knowing how she felt, he could flirt without repercussions. Passing him his first outfit he let his hand intentionally linger against her arm while taking the hanger.
"I'm worried they may be too tight," he let his hand fall over his crotch and he adjusted himself, 'Yeah, it might not fit."
He could see the thoughts running through her head as he used the same words from the story she had shared. A small grin formed on her lips and a blush creeped over her cheeks.
Getting on her knees to check the hem she worked her hand up his thigh, "Do you have enough room?" She looked up at him directly from her spot between his legs.
He grabbed her hand, "Don't you want to feel how big it is Noona?"
As she nodded he placed her hand over his bulge, "All you had to do was ask."

*
Shuichi had seen them only briefly. One glimpse of a large smile with sharp teeth and purple eyes that seemed to glow. They were light on their feet, quiet as the night as they made it inside Shuichi's room on their tiptoes, like a particularly graceful ballerina. Shuichi didn't have a chance to speak up before the person raised a hand and blew glittering powder into his face. He had collapsed on the spot, but not before the mysterious person supported his swaying body by keeping a hand on his back and another to the back of his head.
The next morning, Shuichi woke up with glitter in his hair and on his fingers, along with a sense that something had gone wrong. Or, like something had gone missing.
He didn't realize the source of that impression until his friend, noticing Shuichi failed to react at all to upsetting events, joked that maybe his emotions had been snatched while he wasn't looking. Kaede had also been startled when he pinned her with an intense gaze and agreed with a terse nod.
"Is it really possible to steal someone's emotions?" Shuichi asked.
Kaede, never one to ignore even his silliest remarks when he was serious about it, put a hand to her chin. "It's not impossible around these parts. I might have heard something like that before, but it's more of a story to scare children than an existing fact."
"But we can't say for sure it doesn't exist?"
"That's right."
Satisfied, Shuichi relented and allowed the topic to change. As soon as he was done, Shuichi set out to research if there was any chance that he had been robbed of his emotions after all. After days of talking to more people than he was comfortable with, Shuichi found somewhat of a specialist (or so that was what he claimed to be). He had an oppressing, almost scary aura to him, but the man spoke of tails that made Shuichi go a little bit starry-eyed.
"Spirits are quite the trick loving bunch," Korekiyo explained over a cup of tea, "perhaps to compensate for what they didn't have the chance to do in life."
"So they're dead…?"
Though Shuichi couldn't see Korekiyo's mouth, he was sure he was smiling somewhat mockingly. "Yes, that would be the logical conclusion."
Shuichi hummed and looked down at his hands. Maybe he'd feel a little sad for this person, if they hadn't stolen his ability to do so.
"Is there any chance for me to find them?"
"Luckily for you, I have many reasons to believe you've encountered a spirit I'm already familiar with."
From the subsequent long monologue that he listened to, Shuichi extracted two important pieces of information: go north, find the closed orphanage that stands at the top of the hill; and, his little robber was apparently a boy who called himself a phantom thief. Or rather, the Phantom Thief, capitalized. Shuichi was doubtful that was his true name.
Nonetheless, Shuichi set out just as instructed. On the sunset of the next day, Shuichi had found himself facing the building that looked a bit like an abandoned church rather than an orphanage, if only because all the windows were stained glass colored vibrant red and pink, for the most part. Shuichi squinted at the building as he struggled to catch his breath.
Though Korekiyo had believed the opposite, Shuichi didn't feel safe, after all. Even a village kid as him knew the stories about people who encountered spirits and never came back afterwards, and knew even more of the ones who returned but not as themselves. Shuichi clutched the sleeves of his shirt.
While he pondered if he should go in or not, the doors slammed open on their own. A giggling voice could be heard, distant; a whistle of the wind. Shuichi tensed up, but shrugged to himself. That was as much of a friendly invitation as he would get, he decided.
The atmosphere inside the orphanage was strange, but perhaps only because he passed rows and more rows of open bedrooms, with beds as small as the ones he used to have in his room when he was nothing but a child. The place was covered in dust and debris, as well as wildlife, like it had been standing so long it was now splitting at the seams.
Though Shuichi was sure he had been wandering without aim, his feet took him to the only room that seemed lived in, to a sense. The dining hall had a table in the middle that went on for miles, and it was the first object Shuichi saw in here that was not dirty. It was also lined with candles in fancy candelabra, making the room just a bit too warm.
The room changed once he stepped properly into it. The bare, rotting walls were now covered in an intricate, elegant wallpaper; the table was surrounded by too tall chairs with plushy looking cushions; the table itself was now full of plates of all kinds of sweets that Shuichi had never seen before. At the center of it all, a carefully balanced tower of beautiful glass vials, adorned with flowers or stars or wings.
Finally, at the head of the table, swimming in his chair, sat a boy who watched him predatorily. Shuichi recognized his teeth first, bared in a childish smile. His face was framed by swirls of red paint, but the rest of his attire was perfectly pure white.
"Phantom Thief," Shuichi greeted.
"So you already know who I am," the Phantom Thief drawled his words, pleased with this outcome. "I'm so glad you went through the trouble of finding me!"
Guessing it was alright to do so, Shuichi sat on the opposite side of the table. The glass tower in the middle obstructed their vision, and they both inclined their heads at the same time to look at each other.
"Of course I did, you have something of mine," Shuichi said, straight to the point.
The Phantom Thief pouted. "We could've made a game out of it, you didn't need to say that right away." He heaved a forlorn sigh. "The rudeness of it all."
"Game?"
"Of course, I love games. Don't you?"
"Occasionally."
The Phantom Thief nodded twice, then dipped his finger into the nearest platter of food. He stuck his finger into his mouth, and promptly spat out whatever it was he just ate.
"Let's talk business, then," the Phantom announced magnanimously. "You're here for what I've stolen from you, is that right?"
"Yes."
"And what are you willing to do to have it back?"
Shuichi blinked. "I don't have to do anything since it's rightfully mine."
There was a stunned silence, followed by loud laughter. The Phantom Thief clutched his sides and his head dipped out of sight for several moments, but Shuichi could imagine the amused expression that was currently on his face.
"That's not how it works here, sorry." He didn't sound apologetic at all. "You have to try harder than that if you want your flask back."
Immediately, Shuichi's eyes were drawn to the glass standing between them. The Phantom Thief applauded him.
"That's right, that's where it is!"
The Phantom Thief stood up and turned to face his chair, then he put one foot up on it, followed by the other. He climbed onto the cushion, then the table with the nimble movements Shuichi just vaguely remembered from their first encounter.
"You see, this wasn't my first heist," the Phantom spoke while he kicked food, delicate china and expensive cutlery aside with the tip of his shoes. He walked to the middle of the table until he could reach for the vials shining in the candlelight. "Yours wasn't all that difficult to catch, either. But it's very special to me, so I can't give it back so easily."
The vial at the very top, placed in the spot of honor, was removed from the overall tower by the Phantom's hands, then held to his chest as if cradling a child.
"So, what is your proposition?"
Shuichi frowned as he watched the navy blue liquid inside slosh. He wondered what would happen if it fell, then broke. Shuichi clutched his hands to his knees.
"What could you possibly see in my sadness?" Shuichi inquired, and if he sounded miffed, well. He was. "Wouldn't it be more rewarding to steal someone's happiness?"
The Phantom contorted his face into a grimace. It made the paint on his cheek distort disturbingly.
"For the record, we don't steal anyone's happiness. That's against the rules." He tilted his head. "Right?"
The question wasn't directed at him. He saw nine heads, nine people all dressed similar to the Phantom Thief, nod in agreement then disappear before Shuichi could process that he wasn't hallucinating. He shuddered as he realized he was being watched by whoever those people were.
"I suppose that's fair," Shuichi conceded. He added, mildly, "But that doesn't explain why you did it, and why you won't return it to me."
The Phantom Thief rolled the flask in his hands and spun a circle himself as he went over the question.
"You wouldn't remember anyway," the Phantom decided.
"Enlighten me."
The Phantom was slightly taken aback by the response, a small stumble to his steps a proof of it.
"...Huh." The Phantom thought and thought, and finally said, "You felt sadness for me."
Shuichi furrowed his head. He was sure he wouldn't have forgotten about an encounter like that.
"When?"
"In a dream."
The Phantom decided to continue his track, this time towards Shuichi. There was more clatter as everything in his path was damaged beyond use. He came to stand above Shuichi, chin tilted up as he looked down on Shuichi.
"Or maybe I'm lying,?" The Phantom Thief challenged. "You'll have to find out yourself, all you have to do is remember. Now, I'll be taking this--"
Shuichi grabbed his ankle before the Phantom could turn on his heels. The Phantom tested the strength of his grip, but didn't try to break free.
"What do you want?" Shuichi asked.
"Oh?"
"We could strike a bargain."
The Phantom smiled in clear self-satisfaction, and from this angle it looked especially cat-like.
"Aren't you the courageous type," the Phantom complimented.
"It can't be anything too bad," Shuichi defied, but the words weren't convincing even to himself.
"You're so lucky I have just the thing in mind today, and it should cause you little to no pain, as long as you don't struggle too much." The Phantom Thief bent down, and suddenly he was crouching and leaning close to Shuichi. "How about it?"
"I'd like to hear what it is, first."
The Phantom Thief giggled. "Alright." He tilted the vial this and that way, showing it up to Shuichi. He inched himself a tad bit closer. "I'll give you your precious emotions, the one I've been treasuring… I'll give it to you, as long as you kiss me in return."
Shuichi couldn't help but gape. He was back to clutching his knees, for an entirely different reason.
"...Is that all?" Shuichi choked.
"You're blushing," The Phantom pointed out without mercy. He watched Shuichi as his face went through the full spectrum of the color red. "So, what will it be? Take it or leave it, I won't take any other bargains, and I won't wait forever. Tick tock, Shuichi."
Shuichi swallowed dryly, and, with his head blessedly blank, pushed himself up by the chair's armrest, and his head met the Phantom's halfway. Shuichi expected him to be cold, to be a corpse covered by a porcelain face, but the Phantom was warm and pliant above him. The Phantom's hands trembled and Shuichi had to grab for the vial before it fell. The sudden touch of skin on skin broke Shuichi's thread of reason, and his other hand found the Phantom's hair and stroked the back of his head.
The Phantom's lips tasted of nothing. Shuichi exhaled softly and found some echo of a distant memory, not his own. Shuichi pulled back, vial in hand.
"Was that enough?" Shuichi asked, voice hoarse.
The Phantom was unresponsive for a beat. Then, he leaped forward, kissed the corner of Shuichi's mouth and demanded, "Call me Kokichi."
"I can do that."
Without a moment's delay, Shuichi downed the contents of the glass vials. It went down like a block of ice. Shuichi watched Kokichi from the corner of his eyes, and the boy did the same.
"This won't be the last you'll see of me, you know," Kokichi commented.
"I'm not afraid."
Kokichi smiled, sharp teeth in his mouth and glitter at the corner of his eyes, with a mess of a hair that framed his innocent looking face.
"Good, I won't stop until I have your heart."
Shuichi chose not to reply. As he left Kokichi standing alone atop the table, too small among the too big furniture, Shuichi could finally feel the stab of sadness that came from the sight.

Excerpt from "The Demon King and the Half-Breed Hermit"
Gotta log off for a while after this but first, I wanted to share this (unedited and incomplete) scene. It's for an upcoming (in-the-works) chapter of my Piccolo/OC-centric ▶Dragon Ball post-GT◀ fic, found on my FFnet account. Why am I sharing it? Firstly, it's proof I'm still writing (...trying...) and despite the long wait for new chapters, DK&HBH has NOT been abandoned. (NOTHING has been abandoned!) Secondly, THIS is what happens when I tell myself "I need to start writing characters who can effectively communicate and deal with their emotions like functional adults!" 😑 Yes...AUBERGINE happens.
Hopefully the "Queen of Issues" can make someone smile.

🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲
Life as a single mother was generally a struggle; as a single mother of two half-Saiyan boys, life was a never-ending catastrophe. Fortunately for Son Chi-Chi, both her boys were grown men capable of running their own lives; unfortunately, that left her to manage her household alone. Oh, sure, Gohan and Videl regularly offered to move her into their home and take care of her, but she wasn't quite ready to accept that offer. She was quite capable of taking care of herself…at least, that is, when she wasn't weighed down with groceries and being chased down by a saber-toothed wildcat.
Winded, she stumbled and landed hard on her knees, her bags falling and the contents scattering. One moment she could practically feel the beast's rancid breath on her neck; the next a warning shout split the air, quickly followed by a pained yelp. Chi-Chi scrambled onto her back and stilled at the familiar silhouette cast by the afternoon sun through the trees. Black hair as ragged as ever and eyes dark as pitch, Aubergine held the struggling wildcat by the throat, leaching away its strength. She drained it a little longer before letting it slink away in shame, then looked to her fallen sister-in-law over her shoulder. "Are you hurt?"
"No," Chi-Chi answered as she gathered the spilled goods, then belatedly added "thank you." Aubrey shrugged and hoisted the bags onto her shoulder as the black faded from her eyes.
"Well, someone's got to shield the squishies," she replied instead. The familiar retort used to irritate Chi-Chi, but now she recognized it for what it was: you're welcome. I don't mind. Aubergine's long silences, half-answers, and silence took a while to adjust to but by now it was like a second language to her sister in-law.
The remainder of the journey to Chi-Chi's home passed in a silence midway between comfortable and awkward, and before she knew it, the matron was stowing away her groceries. Aubergine sat at the table, brooding and fiddling with a small shaker jar from the revolving rack in the middle. Recognizing the speckled contents, she pried the lid open, sniffed at the contents, and sneezed; her eyes and sinuses burned in protest as she jammed it closed and shoved it back on the rack. Yes, she identified it correctly. "So how's Piccolo settling in?" At the resulting silence, she turned to find Aubergine scowling like someone who just chewed five lemons in a row without stopping to sweeten them. "That well, huh?" Chi-Chi teased. I
Aubergine shot her a deadpan glower then exchanged the speckled powder for a jar full of tiny seeds. As if it explained everything, she grunted, "he's not dead yet." These seeds didn't burn her nose but they had a rather unpleasant smell somewhat like rank body odor. Nose scrunching at the stink, Aubrey exchanged the jar for a tall shaker full of tiny white crystals with a much sweeter scent. Over by the table, Chi-Chi gave a knowing smile as the half-breed examined her spices. "I don't understand how one person can require so many of these things," Aubergine muttered surveying the multitude of tiny jars and shakers on the Lazy-Susan. "What's the point of all this crap?"
"Spices?" Chi-Chi asked, and upon receiving a blank look added, "they make food taste good. As for the number, different dishes require different spices—you can't cook everything with the same ingredients." Aubrey stilled, eyes wide and locked on the three jars she investigated before. "What brought you here anyway?" If Chi-Chi didn't know any better, she'd say the half-breed was embarrassed.
"He quit complaining," Aubrey mumbled. "He used to whine that I was poisoning him; now he doesn't say anything…but…he doesn't have to. I thought…" She fell silent, cleared her throat, then collected the other two bottles and shoved the lot toward Chi-Chi. "Fish. It was worse than usual."
Chi-Chi was used to getting only half the picture from her half-Saiyan sister-in-law but this was even less information than usual. Those three spices were never used in the same dish; then again, this was Aubergine, and Aubergine was quite possibly the worst cook in the realms. "Correct me if I'm wrong," Chi-Chi asked, "but are you saying you cooked fish…with black pepper, cumin, and sugar…?" The half-breed glanced at the jars, read the fading labels, and gave a wary nod; Chi-Chi felt her breakfast threaten reappearance. "No wonder, then," she sighed. "Cumin and pepper can be used on fish but generally not together, and you don't use sugar on seafood."
"This is so stupid." …and so began Aubrey's usual response to statements regarding food as anything beyond life-preserving sustenance. After so many years of hearing the same thing over and over again, Chi-Chi easily tuned out the increasingly loud rant and gathered a few more appropriate seasonings for fish. "Food doesn't have to taste good!" Aubergine spat without regard. "Its only purpose is to keep you from dying of hunger, anything beyond that is friv—" Finally, she went silent. Of course, taking Chi-Chi's frying pan to the skull would shut anyone up.
"There's more to life than just existing," Chi-Chi scolded as Aubergine rubbed the already swelling lump on her skull and growled under her breath. "There's more to life than just survival. We were put on this Earth to thrive, not just not die."
"We were put on this Earth because my dumbass brother didn't have the balls to kill that midget Pilaf from the start." This time she ducked the frying pan.
"You're missing the point as always," Chi-Chi huffed. "I swear, you're so much like my Goku. Aubergine, when your life's over, you'll have an eternity to look back on what you did. If all you have to look back on is not dying, then what's the point?" Aubergine went silent, glaring at the wall beside her as if blaming it for everything that ever went wrong in her life. It didn't escape Chi-Chi that said wall stood between her kitchen and the home Goku and Aubergine grew up in. Not for the first time, she wondered what the half-breed's life was like in those early years, and what molded her into the distant, bristly woman she was now.
"Life was always enough before." The admission was quiet—half-muffled in Aubrey's mostly flat chest and aimed into the polished tabletop—but to the human matron it had the same impact as a battle cry. "Stay out of danger," the half-saiyan muttered as though reciting some sort of task list. "Find and maintain shelter, locate reliable sustenance, protect your brother…" ..wait for me to come find you. I promise, I'll come find you! Bardock may have been a visionary, but an honest Saiyan, he was not. He never came for them… "That used to be enough…" …until said brother ran off with a blue-haired teenager in search of adventure and left Aubergine behind. Sure, she caught up after a while and tagged along for a few misadventures—living alone in the wilds got boring, after all—but at the end of the day, she couldn't even accomplish the most important of these tasks. She couldn't protect Goku. One hand strayed up to brush her bangs out of her dead eye. She couldn't even protect herself. "Why isn't that enough anymore?"
"Perhaps it never really was enough." Chi-Chi's smile held no judgment and her voice no censure. "Perhaps you're only just realizing it now." Perhaps…Aubergine turned to the window, eyes trained on the distant misty peak of Mt. Paozu. After so many years of feeling stuck in place, maybe it was time to change. "I've offered before and the offer stands—I'll teach you to cook if you'll let me." For the first time, the offer was answered with a long silence instead of some bitter retort or evasive remark, proof in Chi-Chi's mind that the other was finally considering it.
"A year ago none of this would've…" Aubergine fell silent; again, she was driven to brush her bangs away from her blind eye though they weren't impairing her sight. That nervous tic would be the death of her someday… She cleared her throat and tried again. "Nothing mattered a year ago. It still shouldn't matter." Chi-Chi faltered. She recognized where this topic was leading as easily as she knew how Aubergine must have reacted to Piccolo's resurrection. She smoothed the skirt of her long dress and seated herself at the table. The rest of the groceries could wait a bit longer.
"The first time I lost Goku…" I lost Goku. Even after so many times of saying those words, her throat still caught around them; even after how many times Goku died, the very mention still triggered an echo of the day Krillin brought her the news. Her son, missing – her husband, dead – worst of all, the threat wasn't even over. "Well, I was a mess," Chi-Chi finished mildly. The past was in the past—let it lie there in peace. "Every time I lost him, I felt sure it was my fault for not being strong enough to keep him. Every time he came back, I tried harder than before to make him stay…and every time, I lost him again anyway…the last time, for good. He refused to be revived." Even now, the words made her eyes burn and her throat clench, so it was a comfort when Aubergine broke the tense silence.
"He was an idiot like that." The dry remark earned a weak chuckle.
"Indeed. Even now, were he to walk through that door, I'd still take him back. He left us all behind when he refused resurrection, but I'd still welcome him home with open arms." She hummed softly, leaning on her elbows and looking out the nearest window. Already the blue of the sky was deepening and the days, shortening—harvest time might come early this year. "For all his faults, and there were many, Goku was always so much stronger than I ever could be. I could never leave behind those I love, even to keep them safe…he did so without a second thought."
"But when the danger's gone, how does staying dead solve anything?" Aubergine cut in—an unusually long sentence from an unusually brief speaker. "The people he left behind—they still needed him—they depended on him, and he turned his back on them!" Chi-Chi hazarded a glance at her company; Aubergine was off in another world, her vision trained somewhere far beyond the woodgrain of the tabletop. "Didn't he know? Didn't it matter?" Chi-Chi's wrinkle-framed lips tilted into a sly smile.
"He knew there were such people, I'm sure," she answered. "I have a feeling he didn't quite understand what it would put you through." Aubergine gave a faint nod, eyes distant, then startled as she realized the subject change. Both women knew they were no longer talking about Goku; neither was ready to admit it, either. The half-Saiyan's cheeks darkened in embarrassment, but the effect was lessened by the venomous glare aimed out the window. "You never told him, did you?" Chi-Chi pressed.
"Why bother?" Aubergine muttered. "He knew what he was doing. He had to know I'd—" She fell short, remembering vividly the searing pain in her chest from the day the earth was destroyed—the fracturing of a heart timed to the shattering of a planet. From the first wince to the last breath, she felt Piccolo die, and it was a feeling she'd never forget…or forgive. "...I never should have marked the bastard."
Once again, Chi-Chi was given only bits and pieces, but this time she was content with it. If the scars on Aubergine's throat were any indication, the whole picture wasn't one she cared to see.

hello my dearest bella 💕 (please go to bed instead of reading this and yes as far as i'm aware shawn mendes is friends with 5sos) okay firstly i'm really glad that your happy playlist is fulfilling its purpose 🙈 also how've you been? did you have a good week? (i hope your math test went well btw) did you drink and eat enough? how are things in general? i feel like i haven't checked in on you properly in too long 🙈
oh and yes very much so i just can't stand illusion at all but like i don't even know why 😅
i'm very sorry you cried but then again crying can be so helpful but anyway i hope things are looking up by now
well for me thursdays are really Not It at all. they're really rough at work bc we have that thing where we talk to every patient and it's a lot so that's just not fun. also destiel. what a topic. can't believe 16 year old me invested so much emotion into that show just to be treated like this now
okay lastly i've listened to a couple of songs from the one line takes you out playlist (mostly some that i already knew and i'll work myself through the rest slowly) and spoiler this changed from me guessing which line is responsible for getting the song onto the playlist to just telling you my fav lines real fucking quick but well maybe those two things overlap we'll see
story of another us i'm thinking maybe "drowning, beside you where i'll be to remind you we're still first in line for the front row of last resorts" or "i got a long term plan with short term fixes and a wasted heart that just eclipses" but simply bc i love those two
the quiet oh damn this one has so many 😅 my own fav is "i'd rather be spitting blood than have this silence fuck me up" but "say anything, anything hurts less than the quiet" is so so relatable to me so it always hits intensely as weell but it is also the chorus and i don't think that counts as one line and i think maybe "now i'm left here in the dust with the taste of broken trust" could be a taking out line but really i think in this song it could be every single line and i'd be like yeah i get it
san francisco so as i said this really is just me telling you my fav lines "drove into infinity, i held you 'til you fell asleep"
special listen that one's a challenge bc it's just. a song full of lines that take me personally out. all of them. even more so than the quiet. however "on your hands and your knees do you feel in charge? crawling back to who you were" & "i just wanna wake up put a smile on my face that isn't made up" absolutely murder me each time. (or possibly "when do i become who i am?", the entire chorus, "am i the one on the thrown or a wannabe?", "where's the time go? here comes a heavy low")
cynic this entire song is an attack. but nothing more than "i miss the days when one was better than the last" (or maybe one of these: "i cried at the rain, but there's no way that I'm depressed", "if i think too hard i'm scared i might lose it", "leave it to life to turn my strengths back into weaknesses")
i'll honestly be so shocked if even one of those is right 😅 please tell me which lines actually take you out yeah? okay love you and really hope you can sleep now -fiancee
ether maybe "check in on my mental state find another skeleton take it out and decorate"
pin the grenade "if you're gonna kill me baby please just do it slow" listen i have no idea why but this line each and every time takes me out but "if you don't love me lie to my face" is so good as well
hello my dearest fiancee!! yes actually i am literally listening to the happy playlist right now as we speak i love that so much for us it’s honestly? SUCH a good playlist. thank you fiancee your contribution is, of course, invaluable
how have i been! what a question. i have actually been strangely good!! this morning i did some cool things for acappella. i did NOT sleep well last night as im sure you saw but i have a mocha frapp and a chocolate croissant here so that should do it !!!! ALSO i am going HOME today.........leaving college until spring.......gonna see my dad in like one hour i am really excited for that :) how are you!!!
i am sorry to hear about the unfortunate thursdays :// i hope they pass quickly for you and also hope that the rest of your week is/was decent enough to make up for it? also yeah, destiel........what the fresh hell lmao literally
oh okay !!! lets see here
story of another us: yeah i mean i think the whole chorus just hits me in the face. but also “memories are pay per view, it costs too much to think of you” is such a???? line????????
the quiet: yeah you got it first try!! i’d rather be spitting blood than have the silence fuck me up??????? what the FUCK????? literally
san francisco: wtf fiancee are you inside my head......are you ME......that’s literally the line i fucking love that lyric so much the image is so nice and the emotion and JUST
special: well. the line that takes ME out is “i just wanna feel good, wanna feel special” like....the desperation!!!!! also the fact that alex sings it!! thinking!! but you’re right, on that song (and frankly every simple creatures song) every single line hits
cynic: yeah it’s “i cried at the rain but there’s no way that i’m depressed” that line puts me in another dimension deadass
ether: honestly, i would have to relisten to this one, but im pretty sure it’s the chorus part. like the “you can gasp for air or take the either; hold your breath for both, you won’t get either” however i also do really like the cross another state line checkin on my mental state line. i’m not even sure why? i just like the. like. i just like it hlkfgjdkslmj
pin the grenade: YEAH it’s if you don’t love me lie to my face. i just fucking love that. it’s such a desperate plea!!! are you detecting a theme here fldkgjfmlkj

Ok I feel like Remus would love musicals especially ones adapted from books. And I feel like him and Sirius are looking around a music shop and Remus finds the Jekyll and Hyde (I know it didn't exist yet but let's pretend) musical album and the both just kind of stop... and yeah that's as far as I've thought Robert cucciolis transformation facad and the second part of his version of confrontation are the best for Remus but the rest original album could be fun to work with i.e. Bring on the men.
The Okay to be honest I know very little about musicals so I read the wiki about this lol @freshflowers-and-fadeingscars. It’s also my personal headcanon that Remus’ mum, who is supposed to be a muggle (but honestly how could she have stayed home and cared for her lycanthropic child without magic) but I think of her as a muggle-born, which is why Remus is much more knowledgeable about muggle culture than James or Sirius.
Summer 1978, Remus & Sirius have a flatshare with one bed
“Why would we even listen to this?” Sirius griped as he slung his black leather jacket over a kitchen chair. He slunk onto their old tatty couch with a groan, hooking a leg over the back of it. “It’s not like we’ve seen the music thing or whatever.”
Remus looked away, embarrassed at his own thoughts. “Musical,” he corrected automatically. “They’re really quite entertaining.”
“Don’t sound like it,” Sirius said offhand. Remus knew he was only being gruff to cover his embarrassment. Sirius often got self-conscious when something he should have known or experienced growing up was pointed out. His family was shite, and Remus was glad that he no longer had contact with them, even if Sirius was deeply hurt about Reggie’s absence.
“Well,” he said carefully. “If you listen to all the songs in order, it’s almost like you can see it in your mind. You just have to listen to it all at once.”
“There’s two records in there, front and back,” Sirius pointed out. “That’ll take at least two hours.”
“I’m sure we have so much to do,” Remus said with a small smile. “I’m being rejected from every wizarding job I’ve applied to, and the bookstore doesn’t open until tomorrow morning.”
“Remus, stop,” and Sirius swung his legs off the couch to sit up, arms on his knees as he looked contrite. “I’m sorry. Don’t be upset.”
“I’m not upset,” Remus said, his tone clearly betraying otherwise.
In a blink, the big black dog the size of a small bear was on their couch. It barked once, and Remus hushed it hurriedly. “We’re not allowed to have animals in here!” he chastised Padfoot. “So change back!”
Padfoot barked again, and Remus hurried over, intending to grab his muzzle shut. His hand was met with a long pink tongue, and with two heavy forepaws, the dog reared up on his shoulders and began licking his face with gusto.
Remus couldn’t help it: he laughed. “Stop!” he complained. “Gross! Stop!”
It was only when Padfoot had pinned him to the floor, wriggling happily in his arms as Remus giggled helplessly that Sirius abruptly changed back, his weight driving the breath from Remus’ lungs as he grinned down at him, laying heavily on top of him.
The tiniest bit of oxygen left in Remus’ body was quickly driven out with a quick rush; he noted abstractedly that Sirius’ pupils were dilated widely.
“Get…off…” wheezed Remus in a tiny voice, hoping his face was hot from lack of blood and not a rush of it. He didn’t want Sirius to feel - He gulped air gratefully as Sirius rolled onto his back on the floor.
“All right, all right,” he said panting like the dog he had been. “We can play the stupid musicloll.”
“Musical,” Remus said again, exasperated. But he got up and put on the first record with gentle, long pianist fingers. The upright piano in the corner had been easy to salvage from the side of the road. He and Sirius had pounced upon it, furtively shrunk it down, and put it in Sirius’ coat pocket before bringing it home for Remus to play on. Sirius loved to listen to Remus play, and although Remus had at first been self-concious about the audience, Sirius had been so genuinely interested he had persevered. It was one of their favorite pastimes; Sirius laying on the couch, eyes squeezed shut, Remus bending his head, sometimes composing abstractedly, trying to find the perfect tune to explain to Sirius how important he was. How special. How lov-
The first song began, and Remus scurried back to the couch to sit next to Sirius. Sirius always did the thing Remus loved so much but didn’t want to comment on in case Sirius stopped: as Remus sat down, Sirius picked up his legs and pulled them over his lap so that Remus was leaning against one of the arms of the couch while Sirius scooted to the other end and wedged his feet underneath Remus’ hip.
At first Sirius only listened with his eyes closed, but when “Façade” came on, he opened his eyes and made eye contact with Remus.
“Well they‘ve got it right, don’t you think?” Remus asked lightly, and to his surprise, Sirius squeezed his ankle affectionately.
When the chorus after “Façade” sang “Bitch, Bitch, Bitch!” Sirius laughed so hard he choked and then joined in, each time tickling Remus with a stiff poke to his ribs until he was laughing too.
The three songs in a row, “No One Knows Who I Am,” "Bring On the Men,” and “Here’s to the Night” made both Remus and Sirius sit up and Sirius, dramatically holding out his hand, made Remus dance to the last one.
“Prostitutes!” he sang. “Remus, we’re prostitutes!”
“Well you’ve always been kind of a whore,” Remus replied, straight-faced, and Remus dropped him on the dip.
“Hey!”
“This is fun,” Sirius said as the next track began slowly, and he pulled Remus up one-handed.
“I told you. The real musicals are even better. Everything is incredible. I’m sure the magical ones on East Open are even better than the muggle ones.”
“You would think this sort of thing would be high society enough for even my parents,” Sirius said, unusually candid as they settled back on the couch. “But my mother hates…hated crowds. And Father…well he wasn’t much for art or frivolity.”
It was Remus’ turn to squeeze Sirius, but this time it was his forearm.
“Now There Is No Choice” elicited the comment: “I wonder if that’s how Reggie felt.” It was said dully, flatly. It was the first time he had mentioned his brother in months.
“There’s alway s a choice,” Remus said, a little bleakly.
Sirius turned his face to him, eyes begging. “Is that really true though? After all we’ve seen? How much choice was there to be from a pureblood family, in Slytherin, with all the recruiting going on from day one. From all his friends joining the movement. Of me running away. I basically took that choice from him. He would kill my parents if he left.”
“He might kill them if he died too,” Remus pointed out quietly.
Sirius’ face crumpled and without warning he hid his face in Remus’ shoulder. “I can’t talk about it,” he pleaded. “Please. I can’t.”
Remus wasn’t quite sure what to do, but he only put a hand on Sirius’ back and rubbed it softly the way his mother did when he was very ill. “Shh, it’s okay. Let’s just forget it for a while and listen to the musical.”
Remus had to get up to change the record at the end of Act I. “Obsession” seemed to distress Sirius even more, to the point Remus almost lifted the needle off the record, but Sirius held out a beckoning hand, pulling him back toward the couch.
“Please stay.”
“I’m not going anywhere.”
“I really…really love you, you know.”
Remus was shocked. Sirius never mentioned his feelings to anyone, even if Remus could guess them most of the time.  He swallowed. “I…I love you too Padfoot. You know that.”
“No, I know,” Sirius looked away as “Dangerous Game” began to play. He swallowed convulsively, and Remus watched his Adam’s apple work before he forced out. “But not like that.”
“Not like what?” Remus’ heart was thundering in his ears. He couldn’t hear Jekyll singing.
“I don’t love you like James.”
“I know,” Remus said quickly. “You two are closer - like brothers and -”
“Like brothers,” Sirius quickly agreed. His black eyes were hot, burning into Remus’ pale face. “I love you like…” he swallowed again.
The third reprise of “Façade” began, and they both smiled at each other nervously.
“I think we’re just wasting time,” Remus said lightly, tangling his fingers into Sirius’ hair. “Is this okay?”
Sirius kissed him suddenly, hard, wet, passionate. He bent Remus down on the couch with no resistance, climbing back on top of him as the chords of “The Way Back" and “A New Life” carried them into the next portion of their lives.
