#selfie#I'm using emily now if that wasn't clear#I've had a general animosity towards the name mia for a while now for many long and complicated reasons#chief among them being that I didn't pick it. at the time I was torn between mia & emily (& catherine but even then that was iffy)#and I was pressured by someone to pick mia for “convenience” that didn't even result in the change I wanted (long story)#and there's a whole identity thing I have going on I don't feel like going over publicly#long and short of it is that I'm emily now#emmy and em (and emma if you're one of the people who use it as a nickname for emily? apparently some people do that ig) are fine too#I stole this shirt from my husband. it's really comfy tbh
