Self introduction: name's Jiahui, researcher at the Huaxu Academy and collaborator of the Pioneer Association. If you find any ruins or something worth exploring just give me a call and I'll be more than happy to check it out for you!

Ideals: as researchers we should not get stuck on research for research's sake. As interesting as it can be, we're ultimately working for people's safety, and our efforts should reflect that goal.

Hobbies: a nice walk in the wild is all I need to recharge after a stressful day... And if I come along some ruins to explore all the better!

Troubles: despite the technological level of this prosthetic, it still takes a toll to walk on it all day, especially if I'm exploring... I try to be mindful and take breaks when needed, but I can get a bit in my head when I'm excited and forget until it's too late and it actually starts hurting

.

About Baizhi: though our respective fields of research wouldn't normally bring us to collaborate, we've worked together quite a few times. She's precise, clean and efficient, and she's one of the very few at the Academy that doesn't shy away at the idea of some field work, really the perfect research partner!

About Xiangli Yao: our common interest on the Court of Savantae has brought us to work together quite often, even outside of the lab. Though people sometimes ostracize him as being a special genius or something, he's actually really easy to get along!

About Mortefi: Mortefi? Oh yes, he's actually the one who projected my latest prosthetic! Quite an impressive work, don't you think? I actually just asked him to check my old one, and see if he could alter the suspension... Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the Academy the next day to find a shiny new prosthetic waiting for me!

About Verina: I often run into Verina during my expeditions. She's helped me a few times too, her forte was really interesting to research, it even resonated with some samples of ancient plants we found in a ruin a while ago! I kinda felt bad about making her work, so I made sure to bring her out for lunch that day!

About Zhezhi: I only met her a few years ago, when I commissioned her a painting to gift my parents on their anniversary. I brought her some pictures I took of important places they travelled to, and she managed to make a true masterpiece! Ever since, she's asked me for pictures for references quite a few times... She's always so shy about it, no matter how many times I tell her it's no problem since I take the pictures anyway!

Favorite food: living in Taouyuan my parents and I would always spend the evening together on the Moon Chase Festival, and one of my favorite memories of it are the plumpcakes! Aah we'd eat so many of them I couldn't stand the thought of one until the next year...

Least favorite food: I'm not really a picky eater... But I remember my mom giving me some fish and angelica soup when I was sick as a kid and... let's say I haven't tried it since

OKAY SO LUCKYFAILUREGIRL X SUBSPACE

Lucky (as I've explained before) has the ability to travel through video games. She does this solely for the purpose of her own entertainment, and she switches universes every time she hyperfixates on a new one. She can stay for as long as she wants, but can only leave after about a week minimum since it takes a lot of energy out of her to move worlds. When she gets to a new world, she creates this plot and changes the world around her to match it and do what she wants. (This is why she hates lack of control but that's something for another time)

SO. IM CURRENTLY HYPERFIXATED ON PHIGHTING.... SO THAT MEANS THATS WHERE SHE IS

I got attached to/obsessed with Subspace blah blah blah I haven't worked out how they get together yet or if they even do BUT they have this certain like concept about them,,,

Basically Lucky descends upon Phighting, pretends she has important stuff to do there for the sake of the plot she created, but for some reason Subspace *knows* about her abilities even though nobody should (this is also patt of the plot she created. I know, it gets confusing and I'm sorry 😭). I don't know his character that well and I don't know a lot of Phighting lore yet (I just read all his dialogue and stuff from the wiki to study him) but the basic idea is that he's curious (again dunno if that would be accurate)

He tracks her down himself after her evading people he sent several times and he starts to push her to tell him stuff about what she can do, where she's been, etc. She gets super annoyed!! (Also part of the plot, what a great actress, I know/j) She's very irritated and pushes him away and stuff but eventually gives up under several conditions (of which I have not decided) and slowly finds herself giving up and falling for him AAAAYYYUUUUU ANYWAYS I HAVE ART OF THEM

My friends have grown obsessed with the two and promptly named the ship subfailure,,,, here's art,,

I covered up unrelated drawings that were in the pics so nothing would get confused but anyway I LOVE THEM

Question:

1. What's Carmen and Nia's favorite and atleast favorite food and drinks?

2. What would happen if Carmen works for Marigold instead of Lackadaisy? Would there any be changes to her overall appearance or personality?

3. Do you have any oc's besides Carmen, her family and Nia?

4. What is Carmen's phobia? If she have one, then what would that fear be?

(Example: Lucio has a fear of bugs, because he kinda got bitten by a bug once. Two is thantophobia which means fear of losing someone, which is linked towards to his past, hence why he prefers not having some attachment to anyone during that, but when Carmen befriend him, Lucio is legit having anxiety inside. He doesn't want to lose her badly, aka another reason why he obviously grown protective of Carmen and Nia..)

OOOO yay some lackadaisy Questions! I've been trying to get my mind off the LMK oc competition so this is helping

For the first question, the answer it Sweets.

When I say Nia and Carmen are like taste testers for sweets, I stand by that, they come into the bakery like how the IRS comes in to make you pay taxes.

Lucio would be probably out on a mission and just see Carmen and Nia in a window of a bakery ordering the most detailed stuff in the sweetest voice.

For the second question, I think Carmen's fun loving attitude would be sucked out of her. I feel like she'd go to the marigolds as a last option, when all hope was sucked out of her. However, a sliver of original self would still be in there, probably because of the marigold gang.

Shed probably be a sharpshooter next to Mordecai aswell.

Besides Carmen and her family, I don't have any other Lackadaisy ocs. Mostly I'm so attached to Carmen that when it comes to Lackadaisy, her and her family are the first thing I think about.

Now, when it comes to fears, Carmen has many. But here's the main ones.

Drugs, any kind of substance that could harm you

Glass shattering/beer bottles

Fear of being abandoned

Also, I love how Carmen, Lucio, and Nia are just this found family Iconic trio. Kinda reminds me of Kara Luther and Alice from Detroit become human. (Beautiful game btw)
