I don't get chromosomes
#WHAT are you doing#I've figured out gonads but if I try to go deeper with chromosomes I drown#I'm holding onto my understanding that we have 46 (per cell? in total?? no in total makes no sense but it doesn't seem to be per cell eithe#in general?) with my nails and I'm not gonna let go because it's scary there#personal#should I make a tag for my thesis?#nah#before anyone gets worried I don't study medicine or biology or anything like that. that's the point
