First of all, we have no idea if the Master is genuine about any of this or not. I refuse to pass any sort of judgement on this arc one way or another until the finale when we get the payoff. There are many different directions this could take.

Second of all, are you actually aware of the context or not? Because whatever’s happening, this isn’t a sudden development---it’s the result of 70 years of therapy of sorts with the Doctor.

Finally, did you not think for maybe one second that someone making a Missy gifset probably wouldn’t appreciate anti-Missy commentary on their post? Or that it costs $0.00 to make your own post so I don’t have to see said commentary?

Every day I think of more.

#I mean I get where you're coming from... a redemption arc for the Master is something I'm very wary of #Especially with how badly RTD handled whatever the heck he was trying to do in The End of Time #But at the same time it's too early to judge this arc #And honestly I'm open to seeing the Master taken in new directions because character development is always good #I've been wanting to see some kind of significant growth for them for awhile #So if this arc is handled well it could be amazing #And I have hope based on how it's being handled so far #Especially stuff like her criticism of the Doctor's personal brand of goodness #Replies #Doctor Who #The Master #Ranger yells about the Master #DW spoilers
