There's something really sweet about someone else tending to your wounds even when you are capable
#took a fall#I'm fine but I scraped up my hands a bit and skinned my knee#I can also feel a bruise developing on my thigh#my mom offered to clean up and bandage my knee and it was a nice moment#she hasn't had to help me with any injuries in a while since I'm clumsy enough and knowledgeable enough to be able to do so myself#so it was a sweet offer and I let her help#idk I know it's like not a big thing but it made me a little happy despite being in pain#I've been fussing over other people a lot. it waa kind of nice having a second of focus#ashley rambles
