As a British woman in her mid 20s that loves mainstream pop music and has never come across a boyband she didn't love... today has been fairly fucking horrible.
#I've been awake since 5am and I'm just glad i only had a 6 hour shift at work and the news was too late for all but one newspaper#i tried listening to 1d to make myself feel... i don't know. comforted? and nearly threw up in the street.#there's no doubting he was deeply troubled and did some fucking awful things. I'd always hoped he'd get help eventually ig.#he really lost his way after the split and spent so much time calling out for attention and using substances to fill the void.#it's just so desperately sad. you just think. maybe one day he could've found his path and gotten the help he needed.#anyway. sad day.
