Because OC templates are much more important than finishing fics.

Anyway, since I talk about them enough, here’s Jackylyn, Sirius, and Morgan.

Picture for reference (It’s not great, but it’s hard to fully describe how I see them. That’s the problem with having a very visual brain but no patience for art. And also having no idea how to use a tablet--I had a webcomic artist phase, don’t judge me.) (Jackylyn has two right hands because OBVIOUSLY she sewed her left one on wrong and absolutely not because I fucked up.) Aside from a few tweaks, I’m leaving their stories and backgrounds as I had them five years ago, which means they’re batshit crazy and things happen for reasons.

Jax is a bit much to take in, and so she and Sally don’t gel. But they both love sewing (Sometimes clothes, sometimes themselves) and spend time together in that way.  Father: Jack Skellington Relationship with him: They bond over grand theatrics and a desire for something more in life. However, this does mean they sometimes grate on each other due to being too similar. Siblings: Sirius Skellington Relationship with them: THE BEST. She adores her twin brother--even though he’s not really her twin--and spends all the time she can with him. Best friend: Morgan Van Dort Relationship with him: easy, fun, and full of trouble. 

Basics: Created by Dr. Finklestein as a test to see if an inorganic creature--a ragdoll--could age like an organic one, she was passed off to Jack and Sally once the good doctor realized he didn’t want a toddler ragdoll ruining his equipment and experiments. The newly-married couple were more than happy to raise her as their own, and as she grew, she showed the same restlessness her father had had. She constantly yearns for adventure--when Sora and his friends came through Halloween Town, it was all she could do to stop from joining them--but she has duties as the Pumpkin Princess and knows better than to go gallivanting off without any warning. She spends a majority of her time trying to avoid going to Town Meetings and generally goofing around with Sirius and Morgan.

Character’s full name: Sirius Miguel Skellington (originally Jones) Character’s nickname: Siri, Mike (only by his bio dad) Reason for nickname: Siri - it’s easy and cute; Mike - his father never liked the fact that his ex-wife named their son something as outlandish as Sirius. He calls him Mike in an effort to make him an All-American boy. Creature type: Corpse Birth date: Nov. 1.  Age: 19 Hometown: Los Angeles suburbs--idk, maybe Van Nuys or something. Type of childhood: Okay. The divorce was hard, and his dad’s remarriage was harder, but he had a lot of good friends and got by. Childhood hero: Luke Skywalker Dream job: Rock Star

Present Current location: Halloween Town Currently living with: Jackylyn, Jack, and Sally Pets: Zero Occupation: Future Pumpkin King. Family Mother: Bianca Hernandez Relationship with her: Really close and loving, but unable to see each other often Father: Todd Jones  Relationship with him: A lot of headbutting and a lot of resentment. Step-Mother: Naomi Jones Relationship with her: Cold and resentful on both their sides. (Half) Siblings: Candace Jones,  Toby Jones (not the actor) Relationship with them: Distant. He died when they were both pretty young. Adoptive Mother: Sally Skellington Relationship with her: Quiet, but loving. They bond best in quiet, calm moments. Adoptive Father:Jack Skellington Relationship with him: Intimidating. Jack is certainly nice and means well, but Sirius is constantly terrified of having to follow in his footsteps. Adoptive (twin) Sister: Jackylyn Skellington Relationship with her: AMAZING. They’re the best of friends and often forget that they’re not really twins. Jackylyn sometimes gets on Sirius’ nerves, and they bicker pretty often, but it’s never anything they can’t fix.

Basics: Sirius was a sort of last-ditch effort to save his parents’ marriage. They divorced when he was three. His father’s business picked up a few years later, and he ended up taking full custody of his son. Sirius resented his father, both for trying to erase all traces of his mother from him (name included) and for marrying a woman who he saw as a vapid airhead. Before things could escalate too far, though, the accident happened. Sirius--only 13--was killed in a gas explosion at his school. He woke up in Halloween Town, frightened both at the new environment as well as at his new status as a corpse. Jackylyn was the first to find him, and she took him to Jack and Sally. Though he didn’t know it at the time, he was, in fact, the next Pumpkin King, but he had died much earlier than expected. The plan, then, was for Jack and Sally to take him in--Lord knew Jackylyn needed someone her age--and to gently train him to take on the mantle of King of Halloween when he was old enough. He freaks out, however, when he receives the news at 18, and he does everything in his power to avoid getting the new title. Aside from the inevitability of his ascension to the Pumpkin Throne, Sirius is a pretty chill guy who enjoys playing guitar and spending time with Jackylyn and Morgan. Victoria was often quite sick, and his shy temperament and dreamy nature made for some lovely times for the both of them.   Father: Victor Van Dort Relationship with him: Warm but distant, mainly due to the time period. Victor tried to get through to his son--he was the first to teach him to draw--but his responsibilities and their mutual shyness made it hard to connect. Siblings: Emma and Lenore Van Dort Relationship with them: very close. There weren’t many children in the village, so they spent their childhood playing together. Lenore--the feisty middle child--was very protective of her older brother, and Emma--the youngest and the most practical--was the best at pulling him out of his daydreams. Best friend: Jackylyn Skellington Relationship with her: easy, fun, and full of trouble.

Basics: Morgan was more or less destined to have a rough life. Between his dreamy, shy nature and the defect of having different-colored eyes (one gray, one brown), his grandparents on both sides decided that he was the family fluke and essentially disregarded him. His parents did their best to make him feel as if he wasn’t any different, but a carriage accident that left a long scar on his cheek only made him feel more isolated. So, really, it was a relief when he found the door to Halloween Town after a long walk into the forest--one that, conveniently, his father had found twenty years prior. For once, he felt as if he were normal, and when asked by Kiara--a local vampire--if he wanted to join them, he didn’t hesitate for a moment.  Things changed, though, when he suddenly found himself in a different Halloween Town--one that his father hadn’t visited yet. He’s not sure whether it’s a glitch in the time-space continuum or some sort of interuniverse prank, but he’s always been the type of guy to roll with the punches. He finds wonderful friends in Jackylyn and Sirius, and though he misses his friends and family, he can’t really complain about his new home.
