One of my favorite Japanese streamers was on when I was for once and I realized a few things
While I still understand some Japanese despite being out of practice (enough for watching movies/reading manga for example), my confidence in typing/speaking around native speakers is 0 since it's been so long
...Though I realize I can't be scared to try or I'll never improve again (,:
#I'm unconfident in non-English spoken languages though I technically can use 2 on some level: Tagalog and Japanese#I can also understand basic Spanish#But it's not fluent enough - so it's mostly used to overhear gossip - read comics - and watch shows and movies lmao#Tagalog is my heritage language so I understand it well - second to English though#I have a lot going on in life but I hope to learn languages again someday actively
