I'm peeved at how much of a cliffhanger Eye of Zoltar is and the fact that The Great Troll War doesn't seem to be available from my library, at least as an ebook, BUT

it cannot be denied that I'm fortunate in that I've now finally read Zoltar and Song of the Quarkbeast about a decade after they were published because Great Troll War didn't come out until '21...

#that is a hell of a cliffhanger #jasper fforde #and like... Song of the Quarkbeast particularly but somewhat also #the last dragonslayer #leave the HEA (of a sort! not *necessarily* romantically) possibility there #eye of zoltar #emphatically... shakes everything up and leaves it without a particularly happy future assured #I'd read last dragonslayer before probably 2+ times #but pretty sure I never finished Song of the Quarkbeast. and i ...own Zoltar but it's Really not a skip around sort of series #and I didn't have Quarkbeast!#I wish Fforde a very Lack of Writers Block.#I'm trying to be understanding but I would love the third nursery crime; will probably hype myself up for Shades of Grey 2;#and did Thursday Next uh ... properly wrap up? idk but I thought he maybe implied not in an AMA I ran across
