I've been thinking about that au where Sentinel never betrayed the thirteen and D-16 & Orion Pax never become miners

I've been thinking, if D-16 goes on to join the High Guard and is connected to Megatronus Prime, what if Orion Pax goes on to work in the archives and is connected to Alpha Trion?

They'll meet eventually, in much different circumstances than they did in canon

I'm thinking the war with the Quintessons is still ongoing, and I'm thinking the thirteen are still going to go down one way or another

...kinda torn on whether I want this to be an au without the Great Cybertronian War, or if it just finds a different way to happen...
