Off - topic  from  my  latest  reincarnation  posts  but ...  I  refuse  to  think  that  Aang  WOULDN’T  have  been  a  good  dad  !  I really  dislike  the  way  he  was  portrayed  in  LOK  on  that  front  ?  I  mean  I  agree  that  he  might’ve  spent  some  more  time  with  Tenzin  than  with  Bumi  &  Kya  because  he  would’ve  had  to  teach  Tenzin  airbending  (while  Katara  could’ve  taught  Kya  waterbending,  and  maybe  Sokka  could’ve  taught  Bumi  how  to  fight  as  a  nonbender  ?);  but  I  don’t  agree  with  the  way  Bryan  and  co.  made  him  blatantly  favor  Tenzin  over  the  other  two  and  go  on  vacations  ONLY  with  him  ?  Aang  loved  all  of  his  kids  and  just  as  we  were  shown  with  the  Air  Acolytes,  anyone  can  learn  and  respect  the  Air  Nomads’  culture,  so  I  don’t  see  why  Aang  couldn’t  have  taught  Tenzin,  Bumi  and  Kya  everything  about  the  Air  Nomads,  it’s  their  culture  too  !  So  on  THIS  topic  I’m  definitely  canon  divergent.
