The Disney character they feel like they relate to the most: Disney isn’t something that Bellamy goes out of his way to watch but if he had to pick, it’d be a three-way tie between Peter Pan, Aladdin and Prince Eric. He can see himself as any of those three and honestly, he wouldn’t mind working as Aladdin or Prince Eric at Disney.

Their taco bell order: Two chalupas with their nacho fries and some cinnamon twist bites.

Their fav amusement  park  /  boardwalk ride: Oh man, Bellamy didn’t really go to any until he was a teenager but he really loved the water rides and roller coasters. Anything that gave that adrenaline rush was normally what you could find him in line for.

Carefully, like a gentle rain on dry Earth

You've been left beaten down and by someone you really trusted and loved, so now love doesn't come easy for you. You want it to. You want to love and be loved, but you're not sure you remember how. So you need someone else to take the lead. They have to be gentle and sweet and patient. They have to watch out for you, and make sure you're doing okay, because most days you feel a little fragile, if not totally shattered. 100 DAYS OF HEADCANONS. Day 32: Death

Death has never been a stranger to Bellamy. Since he was on the ark, Bellamy decided that his birth father was dead, it made it easier for him to accept the fact that if the man was still alive, he never wanted to meet his son. Then death only continued when Aurora was floated, when he was on the ground and the blood on his hands started to become stained darker and darker and he was left in it’s wake. Bellamy is no stranger to standing on Death’s door either. Death had been there when they blasted away the Grounders with the drop ship. When he was struck sick with the illness that caused him to cough up blood. When he threw the spear to save Finn. When he climbed down the side of a mountain. So many times has Bellamy stared death in the face and won. He’s honestly still amazed that he’s currently living.

100 DAYS OF HEADCANONS. Day 31: Grief

Grief is an emotion that can hit way too deep for him to accept but he carries it. Grief mixes with guilt for him. He’s never quite learned the proper way to grieve over losing someone. Or to even understand how to start. He never grieved over his mother’s death, never grieved over losing his friends, Monroe, Jasper, Lincoln, Harper, Monty. He’s never grieved over the loss of personal things either, like his childhood. Grief just...isn’t something his body or mind knows how to accept. It’s one of those many emotions that he’d rather turn into anger to understand it.

100 days of headcanons: Day 5: Strength

This was something I struggled with when it came to a headcanon for Bellamy, which is weird, considering a lot of who he is a person comes from his inner strength. In truth, there’s a lot of different types of meanings when it comes to the word strength and I was debating if I wanted to touch on all of them or not. Bellamy Blake is physically strong, we were shown that in season 1 when it was shown that he had carried Jasper all the way back to camp after getting him down from the tree and the spike. He was lifting trunks of trees among other things like they were just bricks. So we know that the muscle in his arms and his abs and everywhere else of his body are physically strong, but Bellamy also has a lot of inner strength too. From the beginning we knew a lot of his struggles with his guilt and his past and his sister and losing his mother. We know in season 2 he struggled even more with his guilt and how he blamed himself for a lot of the people that had died. In season 3, Bellamy gets told that it’s his fault when he needed to be told opposite and we see his inner strength again when he finally breaks free of all the things that Pike filled his head with. Season 4, though, Bellamy was ready to give up his position in the bunker. He was ready to die slowly out in the radiation, but it took so much inner strength to keep going and to survive. Space was even more difficult when he had to use that inner strength to become okay with his demons. His struggles were more internal than most. He spent a lot of time alone. A lot of time going through his own thoughts and his own emotions to understand them. He didn’t know what was happening in his head but in reality, his inner strength outmatches his physical strength. I’ma stop rambling though.

100 DAYS OF HEADCANONS. Day 23: Heart.

Bellamy Blake has a far larger heart that he lets the world see. He is very kind, caring, protective. He wants to see the best of people even when he knows they can be the worst. He wants to do good, to do better because his heart knows it’s the right thing to do and truthfully, he mainly thinks with his heart, makes decisions with his heart. He lets it lead him and sometimes, that gets him into trouble and facing death in the doorway, especially if it means keeping someone he cares about alive. Bellamy pushes people away because he’s seen so many people die. He’s lost so many people since before they were on the ground and he doesn’t think he can handle anymore of that. He likes to keep people at arms length, at least, that’s what he believes he’s doing. Even though his heart lets them in. The one thing Bellamy truly refuses to let his heart do is fall in love.

100 DAYS OF HEADCANONS. Day 22: Siblings

Bellamy Blake has one sibling. She is younger than he is and he has put everything into raising her, considering their mother was never really around. It was his responsibility to keep her safe, keep her protected and keep her a secret from the rest of the Ark. He even named her. He taught Octavia everything he knew, books, movies, you name it. He wanted to give himself just to show her the Ark and to allow her the luxury of being a normal kid, the way he got to experience things. He wanted her to see the world how he got to see it instead of just describing it to her when he got back from school/his duties in the guard. He once bought her a red ribbon for her hair because it not only reminded him of her, but she deserved something pretty, something girls would wear. He used two days of his own rations to buy it for her and it worth it. Even on earth, Bellamy is still protecting her in his own way. He’s become overprotective and he knows that but he honestly has no idea who he is without Octavia and he’s scared to find out. He’s scared to know what a world without her is like. Even in current canon, when a part of him wishes she died with blodreina, Octavia will always be his sister and he’ll always want to be there for her.

100 DAYS OF HEADCANONS. Day 15: Family

Alright, so this is a....tough subject. In a sense, family means everything to Bellamy. Family, as in his sister. His sister is his whole world and he’d give his life for her, no matter where they stand. No matter what happens, even if a part of him did wish she was dead, he will always fight for her and he would always die for her. Octavia was the one he spent so long trying to protect and he struggles with the fact that she doesn’t need his protection anymore. She’s strong on her own. She can fight her own battles now, on earth and that’s a difficult thing to accept for someone who had literally spent their life trying to keep her safe. As for his mother, Bellamy’s love for his mother died the day she did and that’s really all he’s got to say about that.

100 DAYS OF HEADCANONS. Day 13: College

So we’ll just completely ignore the simple fact that canonly, college does not exist in the 100. SO. moving on to modern verses. I have two different main modern verses, in the number one main modern that gets the most attention, Bellamy doesn’t go to college. He never really wanted to, honestly, and by the time he was eighteen, Pike had already convinced him that the best course of action was to enlist. So directly after graduation, Bellamy Blake enlisted into the United States Marine Corp and he also joined the Marine Raiders after a certain amount of time, doing strictly covert opt missions. It’s his way of keeping Octavia safe, after all, if you can keep the country safe, you can surely keep your own family safe. In his other modern verse, Bellamy does go to college. He gets a degree in both, History and Mythology and even goes on to become a professor, teaching history to students day to day. He doesn’t leave out the nitty gritty in his lessons either, even if the college would prefer that. Bellamy would rather his students know the truth in the world than sugar coat and later on, them asking why they never learned that in school.

100 days of headcanons: Day 11: Destiny

Destiny was a hard one for me and it made it a bit difficult. Bellamy has never really believe in destiny. He’s never really believed in fate either. He just expects the cards that are drawn and those are what are set in stone for him. He does think he can change the outcome if he tries hard enough though and he does try. He even succeeds sometimes but destiny was never really on his radar except for when it’s in books or mythology books that he used to read as a child and read to Octavia. To him, that’s really all Destiny is, a story book fantasy that he’d never be able to achieve and he accepts that.

100 days of headcanons: Day 10: Clothes

Alright, I wanna go a mix here. So via canon, a lot of what Bellamy wears is the same thing, he’s never really had an outfit change except for his Grounder outfit or his Mount Weather outfit. So via canon, Bellamy really does find comfort in the black cargo pants and the dark blue shirt and the guards jacket. They kinda of really just became a part of who he is since season 1. As for modern, his sense of style and clothing and comfort. He likes fitted things. Fitted v-necks, fitted jeans. He loves flannel and wearing layers of a t-shirt and flannel over it, open. He likes skinny jeans too and his combat boots. He wears hats, baseball caps and yes, he has that purple Blake hat too.

100 days of headcanons: Day 6: Weakness

There’s a moment when I saw this was up for the headcanon where my heart kinda skipped a beat because Weakness is a huge thing in Bellamy’s characterization. Weakness is something that Bellamy struggles with and not in a general sense. To Bellamy, weakness is failure in many ways. Losing Octavia is a weakness but at the same time, someone could use his love for his sister as a weakness against him. Not being there for his people is a weakness and yet, holding his people could be a weakness, knowing that Bellamy would do anything for them. It’s an emotion that Bellamy fights against a lot. Something he doesn’t want to admit is an inward battle but it is. Weakness is paired with guilt in his mind and he has both of them.
