I need (for fanfic purposes) to know how Ren would be if Y/n walked in on him brutally murdering taking care of someone, specifically Teo? Like Y/n came in while his sledgehammer was a foot deep into his skull? (Sorry lol I h8 Teo)

Would he just drop his entire Haruko façade and try to explain everything, like “Angel, please just let me explain! Come out of your hiding place!”

But Ren's reaction would depend on a multitude of things!!

If he didn't notice Angel: he'd finish the job, dump the body, and go about his day as if nothing happened. Angel would have to confront him first. If he noticed Angel but they ran away: he'd stop what he was doing, quickly hide the body, and track down Angel afterwards -- whether it's through hacking into their phone or re-tracing their steps. If he noticed Angel but they didn't run: They'd probably both be standing there in silence, completely still until one of them makes the first move.

Regardless of the outcome; once Angel confronts him, Ren is going to be a desperate, pleading mess. He'll try to convince Angel that he was doing it "out of love" and to "protect them", and might even try to shift the blame on Teo/the victim instead. ("P-Please trust me, they were planning to hurt you!", "They had horrible intentions towards you, I-I swear!", "*insert fabricated lies that he claims are true*", etc.)

If that doesn't convince Angel, then he's going to start pleading, grovelling, and begging. Ren will be grabbing your leg or getting on his hands and knees if he has to. He'd openly sob about how they can't leave him, how he's sacrificed so much for them, how they wouldn't be safe without him, and how it'd ruin him completely if they left.

If all else fails, he might resort to kidnapping them, all while whispering about how sorry he was and how he'd promise to make up for it later.

Ren would never do anything that'd physically hurt Angel though, so there'd be no threatening with weapons, gripping their arms too tightly, or even physically restraining them from leaving. If he resorts to kidnapping them, then Ren would most likely gag and tie Angel up, rather than choking them out or knocking them out with a heavy object.
