I shall add my personal notes on the film, that I have since published on letterboxd, and read like a psychopaths journey into madness.

I always panic when I start watching this film because I forget it doesn't start how I think its going to start. Also the fellas with the light up poles remind me of ewoks.

I'm still confused as to how the tesseract got here, I'm hoping that the whole rewatch will help clear that up.

I will not be swayed that 'while Hitler digs for trinkets in the desert...' is not an Indiana Jones reference. Raiders of the Lost Ark is in the MCU, it is canon.

I enjoy the comic book beating up of the hydra men in the back of the wagon, and the sneaking, and the whole escape from the compound. I really love it.

Those guns from the hydra base seem to do very similar things to the ones the TVA have.

I would have really liked bucky to have caught Steve in his arms, bridal style, when he jumps the flaming gap. And as @cassandrafey points out, we don't see him land, so I guess I can just pretend.

I enjoyed Steve punching the random hydra man as he passed, bet that hurt.

I want to know how long the hydra men were waiting on the plane, and why they hadn't got themselves sorted first. Poor organisation. They deserved to fail.

Here are the things we agree on:

The inaugural showing of the Bucky Boot™️ showcased within second of him being on screen. Right up that man's arse. Love to see it. No wonder he got them thighs.

A touch of Tucci improves any movie. A single proud gaze from that man would power Stark Tower on good clean energy for decades to come. @cassandrafey was devoed when he died.

After the failure of the flying car, we felt that Steve would have been more apprehensive when Howard Stark rocks up to super soldier him.

It was a great pity that Steve didn't come out of that bridal shop window with either an entire gown or at the very least wrapped in a veil. A damned pity.

How long has Schmitt been in possession of a mountain side lair? We appreciate a good evil lair and would like to know how long it's construction took. For personal reasons.

We love a cheerful war montage, to music. There were many fine sequences to consider.

We enjoyed Bucky's decision to lower his neckline after his near death experience. Much appreciation.

Peggy Carter shooting at Steve, hell hath no fury...

In AU land, where they won the war and didn't freeze/get winter soldiered, Bucky would def have got a projector out most weekends and made Steve do his little dance.
