#I'm sorry to be a bummer but i really fear that tumblrs gonna lose it from now on#the new users have completely different patterns of use and staff doesn't seem particularly proactive in teaching people how to use#the platform so it continues to work as it has#theyve already done the based on yojr lim#*based on your likes and for you tab#which are algorthmic#and now with brands coming in and blaze posts it just feels like we're at the edge#the value will go up automatic will take notice and seek profit#aka bringing in more sponsors and the new users will lap that shit up#because again they truly have no idea how it works#and each time i try to explain it i realize more and more how different tumblr is#and i feel so fatalistic about its future in a way i think i never have before#which fucking sucks because tumblr is truly tbe#*the only platform ive used consistently#for more. tban. ten. years.#it's so much!!!!#discord is not a replacement as much as i enjoy it#no other site has this feeling im sorry but truly#sorry to be conservative on main but i am so so wary of all incoming changes#mmine
