I'm watching season 2 of Interview with the vampire and having a stroke because french actors were not hired to play these first-language-french vampires and I as a French cannot understand what they're saying 😭

#I'm sorry I don't mean to be a pedant I can tell the actors are doing their best #but it doesn't work 3 times out of 4. we have plenty have bilingual actors who would go to Prague to shoot this show for cheap #why not hire them even if it's not for the main roles?#special mention to Assad Zaman who's doing the best job #he's comfortable enough that he can fake a bad french accent for when his character wasn't fluent #also the dialogues are not the best grammatically but it's better than most american media that attempts french #I swear I love the show I just wish that aspect of it was better
