1) How many works do you have on AO3?: i have 270 on AO3, but i know that that is wildly inaccurate because for a while i wasn't crossposting my tumblr fics on there and i haven't taken the time to rectify that 😂 someday i'll go through and count my fics on here again because i'm overdue for that lmao

5) Do you respond to comments?: yes! real talk i'm much better about this on ao3 than tumblr just because it's easier on that platform. however now that i can reply from my sideblog here on tumblr i've been trying to stay more on top of replying 🫡

6) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?: i have multiple fics that end with major character death, so i would say definitely one of those 😂 if anyone is looking to get their heart broken like that, drop me a line and i'll rec them to you lmao. but i know off the top of my head i have multiple No Happy Ending Major Character Death Endings for Narcos and Mayans

7) What's a fic you wrote with the happiest ending?: oooo i know i write a lot of angst but i have a lot of fluff for all of my fandoms too. i think that one of my happiest fics is Just One Week. i feel like that's a generally fluffy fic from top to bottom with the exception of a few moments

8) Do you get hate on fics?: not really! i think it helps that these days i tend to write for smaller fandoms.

9) Do you write smut?: i do! for the longest time i didn't, or i'd try to avoid it like the plague. it's still not my strongest suit or necessarily my preference but i've gotten more comfortable writing it as time has gone on

10) Craziest crossover?: ohhhhh i gotta thank @ashlingiswriting for this one. i wrote a Narcos & Suicide Squad crossover and i think about it every day all the time. i also have some other crossovers in my head that haven't made it onto paper yet. but one day! 11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?: not to my knowledge!

12) Have you ever had a fic translated?: no, but i have had people reach out and ask to. i get kinda nervous about other people posting my fics even if it's just a translation so i usually just air on the side of caution. but i do appreciate people having taken the time to ask!

13) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?: not formally, but honestly between my friends in the narcos discord, and chats with @withmyteeth and @garbinge i feel like i sort of have 😂

14) All time favorite ship?: ohhhhh maaaaaaaaaan. i. i don't know. i think i ship so many people with so many people it's hard to have a favorite 😂 i've clocked a serious number of hours thinking/writing about: Harry Hart/Eggsy Unwin, Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes, Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff, Rick Flag/Harley Quinn, Sydney Adamu/Richie Jerimovich.....also lets be so real if i've written an OC pairing i still think about them to this day even if i haven't written for them in a while lmfao

15) What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?: that's quitter talk!!! i don't care how long it's been since i've updated i still fully intend to add onto all of my wips and finish them lol

16) What are your writing strengths?: i think my strength has almost always been dialogue. i think the chronic rewatcher in me really lends itself to that haha

17) What are your writing weaknesses?: smut is not my strong suit. never has been. probably never will be 😂 also just to keep it a buck i feel like i don't have the mental stamina for a lot of research to go into my fics. it's super hit or miss. i'm just here to have a good time and i can't always be bothered to fact-check 😂

18) Thoughts on dialogue in another language?: i've written multiple fics that have dialogue in Spanish! it's fun and a bit of a challenge but i very much enjoy it. i have plans for an OC who also speaks in sign language along with English and Spanish. i think that's going to be more challenging as well but i look forward to it!

19) First fandom you wrote in?: back in my quizilla days (RIP to a legend) i was biiiiiig into writing bandfic. however, i'd say that once i hit got towards the end of middle school and really got into writing fanfic, my first fics were Marvel, followed by Kingsman a handful of years later!

20) Favorite fic you've ever written?: oh man. like trying to pick a favorite child! 😂 i do think that Just One Week is always going to be in my top fic rotation. Protective Detail is up there as well, along with really any of my Kingsman longfics on AO3 🥰

1. Are you named after anyone? Nope, it was very off-the-cuff. Being born in Dublin, of course traffic was an issue, so by the time my father arrived to the hospital, I was already here :P Apparently he picked me up and looked at me and suddenly said, "Ah, my little Katie." And that was that!

2. When was the last time you cried? Last Sunday, probably. Almost cried a few times since lol.

3. Do you have kids? Nope.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? ...Can I answer this with sarcasm or is that too much?

5. What sports do you play/have you played? I don't do anything rn, but when I was like 11, I did Taekwondo for a bit. In school, we had to do sports like hurling/camogie (Gaelic sport), swimming, and a little badminton. But generally that was because I had to for P.E., otherwise I never did anything sporty (except the Taekwondo - that was a choice I made). -_-" :P Also casually played soccer in school as a kid. I was more of an artsy girl tbh.

6. What's the first thing you notice about other people? How they dress, their general vibe/energy and their eyes. All are pretty simultaneous, but I guess energy first.

7. What's your eye colour? Dark blue.

8. Scary movies or happy endings? I prefer a tragedy, but all these have their right places.

9. Any special talents? Hmm, not sure. People have commended me for my writing, but I'm still working on making that a career. Theatre is hard when you don't know enough people rip. I can reach High C pretty easily when singing. I'm pretty okay at sketching, and I tend to pick up on foreign languages pretty quickly and easily. Oh, and I can touch the tip of my nose with my tongue lmfao XD

11. What are your hobbies? Learning languages (French lessons atm), watching movies, researching history and people from the past who've caught my interest, writing, sketching, listening to music, film photography, sorta singing but that's on and off a lot atm...

More rambling hehe slander is on rn and I have a headache and I might be having a heart attack but it's probably just this low simmer panic I've been sitting with all night and there's only an hour left and I'm gonna get thru it

You know what? It's fine. I'm surviving. I'm getting paid to be here and maybe I'll hit overtime this week bc of this shift. Nothing matters, I'm not special or important, I'm just another number on the roster, it's fine. There's only an hour left and then I can go relax at the hotel for an hour and come back in the morning :)

I'm gonna get back on track with food + exercise this week, I'm gonna hang out with L and get as much time with him as I can, I won't be so grumpy because none of this even matters, let it go.

I'm skinny and if I stay on top of my shit this week I'll be 105 or lower whenever I find a scale. I'll get to go home for thanksgiving (cold weather + hug my family) and then I might come back to Miami for the next gig, might not, it doesn't matter either way. (Realistically I probably will and it might suck but it might not suck, who knows.) Next year I'll plan ahead to Not be in Florida for the entire fall + winter seasons :)

Everything is fine. I'm surviving. There are worse jobs lmfao. There are better jobs too! Right now I'm here and it's fine! Most days I love my job and it's unfortunate that this gig hasn't had many of those days but you know what, it's fine, none of it matters!!!

Tomorrow will be a better day. Load out is easy, you just take things apart and put them in boxes. There's so many people on this call, I can fuck around and just pretend it's a workout and talk shit with my coworkers and it's gonna be fine.

My phone hasn't died even though I've been on it for almost 10 hours straight, old phone would've been dead twice by now. Even if I had a book or activity it's too dark down here to see anything, I would've had to sit out in the open somewhere on some random box, this is better. I feel like today's shift has been the equivalent of "a watched pot never boils" except you know what, it does eventually boil, and a 12 hour shift with Zero tasks also eventually ends! It's almost time to start packing my shit up and go sit somewhere visible so bossman can tell me when it's over lol.

Life is funny. I feel like I've gotten over something tonight, not sure what exactly. This music is still getting louder, idk how they do it. I feel like my ears hurt even through the earplugs. But it's fine and I'm feeling better than I did when I got here. I also didn't actually cry the entire time! Almost cried once, had a lot of low level panic energy and a big mope, feeling ok right now (maybe bc it's almost over.) I guess the lesson is, no matter how unpleasant the situation, just make yourself as comfortable as possible and wait it out? Nothing lasts forever.

How silly that people pay thousands of dollars to attend this event and I've just been complaining and resisting the entire thing; I'm being paid to be here and I can't even enjoy it ? / But it's not my vibe and I would've never come here if I didn't have work, and now I know not to work it again next year. It's all fine.

I guess there's something to be said about learning how to surrender and accept whatever unpleasant environment you find yourself in, there's a lot of potential for growth if you can meditate your way through it. The music hasn't been terrible and I might've had a better time on a different day (if I wasn't on the clock and I could've done drugs haha)

But, ayy, 9:56. Bossman said expect to get cut around 10 or 11 so it could be any minute now :) maybe I'll pack up and go sit somewhere with less bass resonance; there's not a lot of good options for seating out there but maybe I'll socialize for the last bit of the night.

Whatever. Nothing matters. The bass vibrations feel kinda cool and at least this guy has variety between his songs. Maybe L will come back soon but I know he wants to see John summit so maybe I'll be driving myself home and he'll find another ride, or maybe he'll try to talk me into going over there with him, or maybe we're actually staying until midnight for some reason, who knows, I don't know shit, I'm tired of all of this, I'm just here and I'm just existing. As soon as I can leave this place, I will be. I'm gonna go check in with bossman and see what the deal is about cut times.

1. I got first place in the nationals🥳🥳! I didn't expect to be the champion at all. I even got a minus 2 on my final score. What a lucky break

2. Adding to the first one, I have been given both a medal and a plaque. I'll need to give the plaque to my university though.. sadly. It's the first time I ever got first place in a competition. It was in a nationals no less! I didn't even get first place in the regionals. I was only able to enjoy this opportunity due to the one who got first place in the regionals backing out.

3. Extra emphasis on that minus 2 haha! It wasn't enough to stop me MUAHAHAHHAA!

4. MY FATHER IS FEELING WELL AGAIN! WOOHOO! EAT DIRT TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA!

5. My father recovered relatively quickly. That carbamezipine is really strong. I hope that whoever invented it gets like triple the applause that the greatest inventors got

6. My friends are friends again (⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠). It's so nice being able to help my friends get together. Hehehe.

7. Our thesis concepts are coming along nicely. I'm such a smart thinker-thunker :3

8. Our zombie apocalypse has come to an end on it's 50th night. It was the most fun I've ever had in gaming that didn't feel like I just wasted 30 mins of my life watching another "teammate" run it down after a few games.

9. Now, I've created another Minecraft modpack – a fantasy adventure one with spells and classes. We're a few days in and it's setting itself up to be even better than the zombie apocalypse since there's no stress and it's mostly just us vibing.

10. Gaming with friends is nice. I just love how we're 3 idiots trying to figure out what in the flying megazord caused a zombie to get 13 thousand health. It's a blast to deal with these 'intentional' enemies (I am a very smart modpack maker that takes into account all situations possible).

11. I know for certain my friends are there for me. It feels warm. Everyone is trying to push the other up then reaching down to pull to another up. It's weird being in a healthy friend circle, but I like it!

12. I accidentally oneshot a friend of mine while playing the modpack. Turns out my dash deals a lot of damage. My friend also oneshot me... by jumping on my head.... This modpack is wild. Needs a lot of rebalancing tho. Stupid modpack maker can't even balance one class lmfao

13. Finished all 6 quizzes in two subjects in one sitting. EZ 😎

14. Turns out I still know how to do derivatives and slopes. Did not expect it since it was nearly 3 years ago. Then again, I'm having an easier time learning trigonometry in this last year so perhaps this is my luck pushing itself to the limits

15. The lessons thus far in our competency appraisal are easy to understand and brain digestible. Managed to discover a calculator technique for dividing matrices easier

16. I like the little things. For example, my friend usually tells me to correct my posture.

17. We reviewed in my friend's house and we got free fud

18. It feels nice to get along with everyone in a classroom setting. There hasn't been much face-to-face classes, sadly. But now that we have exams, all of us are meeting. I think I'm getting along with everyone (at least, I hope I am)

19. I suck at crimping wires. It's definitely fun to try it. I felt much, much better when my friend (who is good at crimping) had a hard time using my cables. It was like some wave of relief washed over me with the message "Not all skill issue" in the sea weeds

20. I got new shoes! Black shoes hehe. I luv them. Simple and stylish

21. It feels nice teaching my friends and classmates about electronics for the exam. Or maybe it's just an ego thing.

22. We watched the FNAF movieeeeee. To be completely honest, plot-wise, it sucks ass. However, for a fan of the series such as myself, it definitely is an enjoyable watch. It's true to the theme of being stupid but entertaining. The biggest shame in the world is that Markiplier was not in it. I am massively disappointed

Red Hawk and SIgnal being a chaotic duo

An instrumental version of Cake By The Ocean began to play.

The video began from someone filming from their apartment window, vigilantes Signal and Red Hawk lounging on their fire escape. Signal grinned and crossed his legs, the familiar skyline of Gotham flashing behind him. "I learned some very valuable lessons from this." Red Hawk laughed and wiped away the blood from his split lip. "I’m guessing they are all horrible distortions on the lessons you actually should’ve taken away." Signal nodded sagely. "Death isn’t real, and I’m basically God."

This time the clip came from Red Hood 's  Snapchat story. Signal was in some kind of infirmary wrapping a bandage around his wrist. A crash echoed from off-camera and Robin could be heard screeching something incomprehensible, Red Hawk's laughter quickly following. Signal sighed and shook his head. "God, give me patience."

Red Hood snorted. "I think you mean 'give me strength'." He said from behind the camera. Signal turned and glared at the anti-hero. "If God gave me strength, you'd be dead. Again."

The clip was filmed by Red Hawk's mask, posted onto Twitter by one of the bats. Red Hawk whistled. "It’s dark in here." He stated blandly, almost expectantly. Signal laughed. "Don’t worry dude I got this." The sound of Signal presumably stomping his feet echoed in the loud chamber. For a moment nothing happened, then Signal's entire body began to glow, ironically, the bat symbol on his chest being the darkest part. He looked like a humanized bat signal. Red Hawk laughed. "Sick."

Spoiler's social media once again came in clutch with more footage of the bats in action, though this time it was the aftermath. A building still clearly on fire set the background with Red Hawk leaning against the brick of the building with Signal kneeling in front of him. They both were covered with ash and soot. Red Hawk gazed at Signal and offered a weak smile. "You saved me. I owe you my life." Signal snorted. "No thanks. I’ve seen it and I’m not very impressed."

Signal could be seen panting and bracing his hands on his knees. It seemed to be taken from one of the cameras in Riddler's hideout, and Signal had a scowl bared across his face. "What doesn't kill me should run," he hissed. "Because now, I'm fucking pissed."

Signal grinned and leaned against the wall. "Don’t worry, I have a few knives up my sleeve." Red Hawk rose an eyebrow. "I think you mean cards." Signal shook his head and pulled a set of knives out of his gauntlets Assassin's creed style. "No, I do not."

Red Hawk could be seen speaking into his gauntlet, a digitized screen showing Signal glaring at Red hawk. "Please, I'm begging you go to a doctor."  "I'm sorry is this OUR stab wound? Stay out of it."

Red Hawk was desperately pressing down on Signal's side, the filmer just off to the side. "WHAT’S YOUR TYPE?" Signal have a half-hearted shrug. "Anything, honestly, but nerds especially." Red Hawk, desperately, as Signal continued to bleed out. "YOUR BLOOD TYPE" Signal brightened. "Oh! B positive." "DON'T TRY TO CHEER ME UP JUST TELL ME YOUR BLOOD TYPE!" Signal stared at him blankly.

Tim reached into a dusty cabinet and pulled out a fancily made bottle. He turned it over in his hand, the camera angle switching from the filmers to Tim's smaller camera. "Is this whiskey or perfume?" Duke plucked the bottle from Dims' hand ripped the lid out with a satisfying pop and threw it back like a shot, chugging the mystery liquid in five gulps. Duke blinked and set the bottle down. "It’s perfume." He said matter-of-factly.

~ Tim wiggled his fingers at Duke. "I've already sent good vibes your way… they’re coming. There’s nothing you can do to stop them." Duke snorted and shook his head. "This is the most threatening way I’ve ever been cheered up."

Tim threw his hands up in the air, barely missing the large piece glaassc in the shattered window-frame behind him.  "You fuckers don’t know about my knife stick. It’s a knife taped to a stick and it’s the ultimate weapon." Duke, not looking up from the book in his hands. "Spear." Is all he said. Tim crossed his arms in front of his face. "BLOCKED!"

Instead of the usual setting, the video was filmed during a Gala, both of them hiding out by an empty table. Duke began to stride off into the crowd like a man on a mission. "If there's going to be a big dramatic scene, wait until I get back." Tim snorted. "Of course. I can't flip this table by myself."

Duke spun in a circle, his grin bright and easily visible through the night vision film of the camera. He got too close to the door and slammed his foot into a stone doorway. "FUCK!" The voice recorder in Tim's hand released a distorted language, startling them both. "Mind your language!" Duke spun and glared at a random corner, supposedly the most haunted part of the house. "What else am I supposed to say, “Woe is I”???" Tim shook his head at the corner. "You have to accept that swear words are necessary sometimes." He said.

This made me realize how fast my interests change HGFHJGFHJF  answers under the cut because holy shit did i get carried away lmao

For Zuko, I know its cliché but i will say his entire redemptions arc is *chefs kiss* lol. But specifically, one of my favorite traits (honestly if you can even call this list a list of character traits lmao) of his is how passionate he gets about bettering himself and the Fire Nation. whether it was bettering his skills to capture Aang way back in season one, or when it came to stopping/reforming the harmony restoration movement after meeting Kori and her family and seeing the life all the elements made together, if he wants to change something for the better, he puts his heart into it and I absolutely love that about him. 

With Edward, I think my favorite trait about him is how driven and persistent he is. No matter what life throws at him he still keeps his heart set on his goals and does anything in his power to get answers, and him also passing the message along to Rose via “You have to figure it out. Stand up and walk. Keep moving forward. You've got two good legs. So get up and use them. You're strong enough to make your own path.” has seriously kept me going at times, especially when it comes to needing to advocate for myself, which did take me a while to start doing without needing someone to remind me to. Also his ending quote “There’s no such thing as a painless lesson. They just don’t exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can’t gain anything without losing something first, although, if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you’ll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah, a heart made fullmetal.” is so fucking beautiful i had to bring it up lmfao. 

With Alphonse, I love how he wants to see the good in people, even if those around him are trying to discourage his feelings. He goes out of his way to try to talk to the enemies, a heart to heart if you will, trying to understand their point of view to see if he could reach a middle ground, and all while being calm, patient, and collected. I think the biggest example I can give with his is how, after being kidnapped by greed and his companions (fuck greed for calling them minions. booo), Al pretty much lets them explain their side and while still disagreeing with the way to go about things, he doesn’t immediately jump into action to really stop them. After martel climbs inside his armor, he continues to talk to her like a friend, and even tries to shush her when they run into bradley. When he cares about someone (or something, him with cats make me sob) he does everything in his power to protect them. 

Now, i think the reason i don’t ask for SNK is because i read the manga and since it ended, i’m not on the hype train anymore. plus, of course the two characters i adore are the fandoms biggest issues lmao. So, i’ll include them in this, but i’m not gonna get into shit. y’all can find that on twitter lmao. this also may be shorter just because again, i'm not really into it as much as the other shows anymore. this will also be in past tense for that reason as well as it truly ended in my heart. 

For Eren, I think his determination has always been my favorite, even when i first started watching. From the first shots with him as a helpless 12 year old, to the final declaration he gives about saving his people and home of paradis, the way he would and does anything to save his friends and home is beautiful, though the entire “destroy the 80% of the world” shit is very :// dude lol

With Armin, I will say his smarts and how outside-the-box he is when it comes to making plans and trying to solve problems is my favorite part of him. I know a lot of people had issues with him vs erwin but dude,, even erwin had times where was like “lol idk what to do. Any ideas armin??” so. Also him making a plan to sacrifice himself without any hesitation so eren can get the upper hand with bertolt while erwin was riding towards his own death was really heart wrenching to me i absolutely love that episode. 

Since I added stranger things characters, here is why i love them briefly bc i do be tired lol

Steve- cmon. His redemption arc was just as great as, if not better than, zukos like??? He didn’t have to do anything to help everyone out but he does bc he cares :(( also him being jealous of eddie dhkjfslkfjdskl ALSO ALSO him and robin talking about boobs was so fucking great lmao. i love their friendship sm

probably should specify i associate hoy with only a few specific scenes in the book. it's a very soft pining song and grian. is not. that soft? it's just the little scenes that we see where they're both feeling like the'll never be able to do anything with their feelings, and that their emotions have blown everything way out of their proportions, and also the scenes where grian (specifically) realizes his feelings can't shouldn't be ignored

specifically the end of chap 12 and most of chapter 14, the talk on the roof in chap 9, the vast majority of chapter 7, the play fighting in the desert in chap 16, and the flight lesson in chap 18 :3

maybe next year I'll have no time/to think about the questions to address

grian's very headstrong, but once again, he contradicts himself in that if he's overwhelmed, he flees. he doesn't want to get hurt more than he already has been, and so he forgets about his importance to the other hermits and escapes the scenario.

Sooo, today was kind of random lmao

I hadn't slept much the night before only like 3 hours or smth and was understandably hella tired after that and 6 hours of online lessons. So after everything i decided to give myself a pause and lied down on the couch in my living room for (what I first intended to be only 15 min but oh well, shit happens) about and hour and thought "what the hell might aswell try to shift".

So, in somewhat of a starfish position and closed eyes i waited to be a bit more relaxed before i began to mentally say some affirmation. Things like "i am shifting" "shifting is easy" "my name is ___" bceuase i gave myself another name for the dr

And well, i honestly didn't expect anything but suddenly there was this immense wave of tiredness that washed over me and i started to see images that were hazy but also so clear! I don't know how to describe it. My body felt like it fell asleep, yk that sparkly water tv static kinda feeling hahaha, and before i saw images i just saw light specks. Then i could see those light spots morphe into silhouettes and parts of dean winchesters face (i'm trying to shift to supernatural) and castiel but after a few minutes i saw scene like bits

Dean was standing in the doorway of the bunker and was asking me what i wanted to have for dinner? It was so bizzare because as i said before it seemed so incredibly real but also extremely hazy at the same time?? And even tho i couldn't see the image for longer than a few seconds, it was still real enough that I opened my eyes to check if maybe my dad had asked me that question or smth because he was cooking at the moment

Oh and before that i could also hear some kind of clock ticking which was... Interesting and low-key scary aksnjsjd

And yeah, i just thought this was worthy to post because this has now been the nearest i have been to shifting i guess?? Lmfao which is so weird because i was so unconcentrated and distracted by a bunch of loud noises but i will try again tonight, like i actually intended to do, so there'll probably be another post tomorrow about it :)
